We had a very scary experience here.
At about 5:40 am on 20-Sep-25, I heard a lound bang outside my bedroom window. Upon approaching the window I saw 2 guys running away. As I stepped away from window I saw the building exterior glass cracking . Apparently , someone threw an object at my room window which was on 1st floor.
We called the staff and explained the situation but no one came . Called again and staff came over to inspect from outside. We were escorted away to the neighbouring regency tower hotel and our bags were kept in a secure location.
Later that day we were moved to the regency tower hotel . Staff was helpful through this traumatizing situation but please be warned. Staff told us this is not a usual occurrence but it happened to us .

The hotel is very clean and easy access to public transport. I paid for the taxi from the airport 25 euro and i realized i could easily take the bus. The bus station is 7 min walk.
Also, it was nice to have the free coffee and muffins in the morning.

Checking into the hotel was a pain, as there is no human front desk and you have to use a machine. Someone before me was struggling so much with the process, that he forgot his government ID in the slot. He just happened to exit his room which was luckily on the same floor as mine as I was headed to my room, and I was able to give it back to him before had realized he’d left it behind.

A comfortable and quiet place to stay but it wasn't made clear that I needed to check in at the main hotel next door, which was confused by the E-check in machine in the apartment foyer. I tried to use this with various check in codes I had been sent, unsuccessfully. Then, another guest told me I needed to go to the reception desk at the hotel across the road to check in.
Once sorted, I found the apartment clean, spacious and comfortable.

Everthing was good excet check in , it was a nightmare, elwe left our bags in the haytt and when we oicked them up trybto do the check in there, but the girl didnt let us, we went to the hesperia and , no front desk, a machine instead and it wasnt working , has to wait 40 min for a previos guest , i had to call someone to help him, them my turn and didnt work, another 30 min and finally they decided that we could go to the front desk of the hyatt,

This was a miscommunication from Expedia that its a 5 star hotel. Mixing it up with its sister hotel which is next to it Hyat Residency. Even the pictures were mixed where it showed Hyat instead of Hysperia Fira apartments on the booking page.
The hotel itself was nice and clean but I of course have to report the wrong thing here.
I dont know if Hysperia wants it that way to have more people or this is Expedia's mistake in uploading the wrong photos and listing wrong info.

Our room was most comfortable with separate bedroom and living area, including mini-kitchen. Check-in is at the adjacent Hyatt Regency which has a breathtaking Lobby area and spectacular views from the Roof-Top Lounge. The Hotel is nearby the Airport and beach areas south of Barcelona. Area avoides congested Barcelona center with easy access to highways.

It was a wonderful stay. My only complaint is that first day of arrival to the property was very confusing. I didn’t realize that reception will be at the Hyatt Tower. Came to the Hesperia Fira entrance first and wondering if i was on the right property. a random person eventually came up me and pointed to the Hyatt tower. Was sweating going back and forth until i decided to just ask the bellboy at Hyatt if he can tell me about the hotel. He said oh the check in is here. Not a good start of my stay.

I didn’t see any reception personal during the days and when had to ask for something I went to the Hyatt which related.
I had to pay 12EURO(!!!) to use the gym!
While asked for wake up call that didn’t happened and waited fo 25 minutes after the booked time for a taxi to airport although I ordered from Hyatt reception the day before and explained the rush.

A very good value, this property is part of the Hyatt Regency. The gym is top notch. Nice pool. The staff was very helpful. The food was not very good and it is in an area with few choices nearby. The suite was spacious and clean, included a mini-kitchen, and the towels and other amenities were good quality. The property is showing its age and could use a refresh.

This property was TIRED!! it's hidden behind an industrial storefront and next to a closed Hyatt tower.

The pictures on Expedia must be from a long time ago OR \"it was rode hard and put away wet\".

Got to our room and toilet was broken. Furniture and curtains very worn. Changed rooms, toilets worked but furnishing very worn

It's NEXT door to the actual hotel, I choose it because of the indoor pool for my kids. Kids were not allowed in the pool since it's a 'private' club.

Definitely not five star facilities or service. We booked a two bedroom apartment but reception initially tried to give us one bedroom and a sofa bed. After a long wait in the temporary reception area (they were rebuilding the main one) we got our two bedroom apartment. It was a nice size but had a number of issues. The shower screen on bath lacked a sealing strip so water poured all over the bathroom floor, making it unhygienic and slippery. A large marble skirting tile fell off the wall in the bedroom and needed to be repaired. Worse, the large window in the living room didn't lock or even shut properly and couldn't even be repaired (the hotel knew about this already but hadn't or couldn't fix it), leading to security worries (we were on first floor). Although it was supposed to be self catering, they provided very limited utensils and cooking facilities, (e g. no oven for pizzas, two small electric rings that couldn't be used at same time, no colander or sieve, partner burnt hands trying to drain pasta and there wasn't even a draining rack to dry plates, etc. The staff on the reception desk seemed pretty disengaged from our issues and complaints. When we checked out they said \" will tell the manager\" not heard back. I had my purse pickpocketed on the Metro and again, the staff seemed very unengaged, offering no sympathy, support or help when I mentioned this at check out. The main hotel reception was a mess a buildingsite plus dull NYE no bar or atmosphere there at all.

Excellent service from a well staffed hotel. Great buffet breakfast. Good night’s sleep at a comfortable room temperature. Only slight downside was having to pay €25 for parking, but the cost of the suite was less than average so the result was still a good deal. Ad on Expedia said free bus shuttle by Hesperia, I asked Expedia to also send the hotel an email on my bed to have the shuttle schedule me for pick up at 12am the 12th of Sept, in turn the front desk night shift or day shift did not find my itinerary for my extra day reservation now starting on Sept 12th ( instead of originally Sept 13th...So I had to show the Hesperia hotel my Email confirmation to prove that I had a reservation for the 12th..the safe needed fixing,the night staff very good,day shift not so good.. breakfast was continental style not as expected a full Coates meal with eggs,& Ect..My rating is a D, location good but hotel is over priced but competitive in Barcelona's hotel..I was going to place a reservation with Best Western airport because they indeed have a free airport shuttle service.if I would have known Hersperia didn't have a shuttle service I would have never made a reservation with them! I think I need to be reimbursed for my inconvenience by Hersperia /Exped

Stayed in the apartment rooms next door to the hotel which is convenient for extended stays. Did not stay nor see the hotel rooms so can't say much about that side. Check-in is at the hotel building front desk for the apartments as well. The problem is that it's through one specific computer for handling apartment rooms. Any computer at the front desk should be able to access and manage the apartment rooms check-in/check out. This is especially important when guests are intending to check into the hotel rooms and apartments at the same time. Service was friendly, breakfast and staff was satisfactory. Recommend installing a minimum of two USB connections in each apartment room for guests, as tourists from countries all over the world stay here and visit Barcelona and USB ports are a universal friendly design for recharging mobile electronic devices (earphones, mobile phones, tablets, laptops, etc). Also, highly recommend replacing the current curtains with black out shades in the apartment rooms as well. Overall a great stay.

I loved this hotel and would definitely stay here again in the future. The suites are actually located across the street from the \"main\" tower hotel, but the tower hotel services the suites with registration, restaurants, bars, etc. You just can't access the suites without leaving the tower and walking across the street to the (much) smaller suites area. This is terrific. The suites area is small with only a few rooms located on 3-4 floors. When you enter the suites building, there is some water and light snacks available on the counter. You can take a short elevator up or just some nice stairs up to the room. The room offers a separate kitchen area, living area, and bedroom. Everything is very clean and well maintained. The shower is probably the best shower ever with lots of different setting and extreme water pressure. The windows can be opened to the outside and are not locked. There is a nice view of a small pond in the atrium. The only negative was the room temperature was ice cold, and the heater just couldn't seem to get the room warmed up. If staying more than one night, that issue would have to be addressed. Otherwise, everything was perfect and recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to or from the airport or the Barcelona area. A free airport shuttle is provided by the hotel.

I stayed in Fira suites with my wife we had a wonderful time.
Place is clean and in immaculate condition, staff is very responsible and cooperative. There was only one draw back that bed is not very comfortable and mattress is used up, pillows can be better quality because of this you don't wake up rested.

A very nice place and can't complain to much but unfortunately a few let downs

Main let down as in facilities it states pool and gym one of the reasons to book it but it is 14euro a day to use it they should of specified

A couple of other bits but shouldn't hinder your stay

1. When checked in asked for local food places to eat or get some essential and I was told nothing around it was only on last day accident I found a load of places at back of hotel on left

2. Phone didn't work in room and could not phone for room service or any issues had to leave apartment block to go across road PJ to speak to reception ... When came that said phones don't work in rooms

3. Pool and fitness room don't see why should have to pay and no mention of it

4 double bed isn't double it's 2 singles put together that splits at night

This is a nice hotel if you are staying close to the airport as it's about 15 -20 minutes away. It's isolated though and not a good location if you plan to see and visit Barcelona from there. Too far from the central area. Hotel was clean, spacious and comfortable.

Clean, lovely facility. However we booked there to catch a very early morning flight because of its nearness to the airport and the shuttle. The shuttle does not begin until until 7:20 AM. We were forced to take a cab which was about 22 Euros. We would have stayed in town and taken the metro to the airport.

These suites are located over a media markt store and next to Hisperia Tower hotel (where check in). 3 min walk to metro station (end if line 1) and 20 min ride to centre. Good value and comfortable but fittings show signs of wear on what was once a high end standard. Kitchenette a bonus with microwave, fridge and hotplate. Oddly have to ask for crickery/cutlery/pans for kitchen which housekeeping deliver. One of the 2 rings and extractor fan over hob did not work in my suite. Also wasking up liquid/sponge/tea towel not provided?! Local shopping area has range of bakery, small supermarkets and restaurants. Lack of carpets mean it is occasionally noisy as people roll cases by. Overall very happy with stay despite the odd quirk.

Staff is superb. Great hotel to stay close to Barcelona airport.

Bad choice

First the hotel address on the website doesn’t match their physical address. We had to call to get directions. Their bus shuttle stops at 8 pm and we arrived at 8:30 pm and had to pay 25 euros to get to their sister hotel, check in and then walk across the street to our hotel. Just terrible. Room is dated and bed sheets ha a terrible smell. Don’t stay here!

Check in was simple & the staff was friendly. We were greeted & offered refreshments when we walked in. The Fira Suites tower is far less fancy looking but once you enter, it looks better. The only slight issue was one of the light bulbs was out in the bathroom so it was on the darker side while taking a shower- a very minor inconvenience. Our room was clean & beds were turned down for us.

Excellent styled apartment in a local neighborhood with a 15 minute bus ride into Barcelona. Close to Metro station and bus stops, local supermarkets and little shops and restaurants. Onsite cafe with limited hours. The hotel staff at Hespera are quite friendly and knowledgeable about the area and all speak English fluently. The Hespera tower hotel in the next building where you checkin for your stay is absolutely exquisite with dining options for breakfast

The reception at the suites do not have anyone at all times. It does not feel safe at night.
The air conditioning never worked. The room felt as a sauna.
The shuttle service is terrible. I was the first to arrive for the 9:20am shuttle. I was not told you had to wait at the stop. When It was time to go to the airport I was not allowed into the shuttle for lack of space and they did not care I was the first person to arrive and ask for the service. Rude people. I asked to speak to the manager and nothing was done about it.
