Hotel states \"Parking available\". To the hotel, this means, \"Go find your own\". Expect to have to park down at the Ferry Terminal parking lot (if they have spot available!). Expensive. If you like to party, this is a good place for you. Nightlife if active all around hotel. If not for you, expect to hear the party noise until 4 AM.

Right next to the ferry (1 minute walk), clean, super hot water in the shower. A/C did not work but we were not hot. No parking but we found street parking a couple blocks away.

The hostel is in a great position for catching the ferry. Paid indoor parking is at the top of the street, other parking is limited. The Hostel is not well signed in the front or the back but if tou find the Alameda restaurant just go in there. Perfextly adequate with no frills but also no English TV channels.

Stayed one night prior to catching a ferry to Morocco early in the morning. We were looking for a comfortable and clean hotel close to the port. The hotel was right across the road from the port so it was very convenient location wise The room was large, very clean and well furnished. The room was very comfortable and actually better than the photos on the hotel's website indicated, which was a very pleasant surprise. Overall we were very happy in finding a very reasonably priced hotel room that exceeded our expectations.

It would have been a relatively nice place to stay, across the street from the ferry terminal EXCEPT they were having the major carnival going on that blasted loud music with pounding drums until 5:00 in the morning. Charming hotel in good location
Hotel Alameda is located in the oldest part of Tarifa. The hotel has an older section and a newer, separate building above a bustling restaurant. We stayed in the newer section, which was very convenient and nice. My only caution is that the street noise from the restaurant below can be quite loud at night, but we overlooked that for the convenient location. And the young man at the front desk was very courteous and helpful. The room was clean and pleasant.

We loved our stay at Hostal Alameda! The location is excellent - close to everything and only a couple minutes to walk to the port to catch a ferry to Tangier. We stayed in the annex location just two doors away from the main hotel. We loved the annex common room! Our hotel room was very comfortable as well. The sky in Tarifa is the most beautiful blue we’ve ever seen! Stay here if you can!

The hotel was nice and the front desk was helpful. The hotel is very close to the ferry to Tangiers, Morocco (the main reason for our stay). The only part that was a bit odd was that we were staying in the annex and not the main hotel. It did not feel as secure since there was no front desk and people did not always close the annex front door behind them.

The Hostel was in a good position being close to the port & shops. However, the room was not as shown on the photo being small albeit very clean and the bed comfortable. However, we wouldn't go back as the noise from the streets was extreme to say the least, with people partying until all hours and then to top it all a couple staying in the hostel started arguing & shouting at 03.30am in the morning.

This place was pretty awful. I figured that since it was close to the port it couldn't be that bad for a one-night stay, but it was. Our room was directly over the restaurant, facing the street and the noise kept us up all night long. The room itself was completely uninspired - more like a cheap motel than a hotel or hostal.

Linens and general room cleanliness were very good however, the tile floor in both the room and bathroom were soiled and in need of a good scrub with a brush. The staff was very helpful. We were in the annex and the wifi only works if you are in the lobby area not in the rooms.

Bedrooms are Boutique authentic to the region, freshly decorated and well maintained and reflect the pictures on booking sites.
Room servicing is excellent, but the toiletries are sparsely distributed and a poor at this grade, but a small issue.
Missed having a lounge or Balcony to sit upon. Also no fridge in the room, and only a standard TV with minimal channels.
There is a common seating area is dull (not classed as lounge) that’s is never used for obvious reasons, with a consolation kettle for tea and coffee making materials and micro plastic cups.
Good proximity to the town and all the bars and restaurants etc with very nice bedrooms.
Good for the Tarifa vibe or a classier stopping point on way to Morocco, but not so ideal all round for those on surf trip. When drying my wetsuit on the micro balcony the drips ended up on the servicing counter of the Pescado Fish restaurant below. Just to add a that’s extra bit of Tarifa saltiness..!

Basic hotel very close to the ferry and in downtown Tarifa in the tourist area. Major drawback is that there's no breakfast offered and nothing opens up until at least 8:30am. There's only street parking so that can be hit or miss. Tarifa is nice but I think over rated and the few hotels seem to be expensive for what one gets.
