Horrible hotel! Yes, it’s close to the ferry terminal, but it has long since had its heyday. We arrived to an overpowering smell of smoke. Our room was filthy upon checkin. Once that was settled we tried to get comfy and nap. We turned the a/c on and it blew in recycled smoke filled air. We left and went to the Marriott. I spent the next 4 days extremely sick from what amounts to smoke inhalation. There were roaches on the stairs as well. Hotel would not refund and apparently hotels.com doesn’t have enough control over its own business to refund for me.

What an experience

Horrible…..the sink didn’t work, there was no hott water for a shower. Also, the toilet didn’t flush and lastly the AC/heater didn’t work! Didn’t expect much but definitely didn’t expect that! I will say, it’s a great location for ferry and food… also bed wasn’t bad!

Great Location for the Port

The hotel is very well located for the port (about 5 minutes walk) if you are wanting to make day trips to Ceuta or Tangier. It is basic but the reception is open 24 hours and a really nice kebab takeaway next door with the staff speaking good English. It is about 10 mins from the bus and train stations too. The area can be a bit quiet late at night though.

The location of the hotel is excellent if travelling on the ferries to Ceuta or Tangiers, it is opposite the terminal gates.
It is about a kilometre from the train station . It has been a lovely hotel in its day. The cafe next door offers food which is ok.

Great location.

The location was perfect for taking the ferry. The cafeteria next door was reasonable & delicious. The bed was comfortable. The bath/shower was spacious. Very clean! The only complaint walls were thin for late night talkers. No English tv stations. Only Spanish. Disappointing. Very walkable location. We'd return.

Thisis a beautiful old hotel on the waterfront.I loved its historic feel and the old elevator. Room was good, bathroom stellar after days of being on the road, and great location for boarding train and a tour bus for Morocco. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I'll recommend this hotel to anyone!

It's fine for a couple of days

I arrived at about 10pm,having made the trip from Tangiers. The reception guy was pleasant and immediately noticed that a mistake had been made - I had been allocated an upgraded room for the two nights. So I got this room for the first night at no extra charge and had to change to my basic en suite single the next day. No problem for me at all.

It's near the port,which has its advantages but pretty far (for someone in their 7th decade) from the posher places in town with nice restaurants and large supermarkets. However, there are plenty of small 24 hour corner shops open nearby as well as snack or fast food places that are also open 24/7.

On the second night I walked to the high town for a nicer meal. It took it out of me, but for a younger,fitter person it would be no problem.

The one downside of the hotel in general was that they said they had no fridge at all to store some bits and pieces in overnight.

The whole hotel was clean and comfortable enough including the rooms. The bathroom is spacious and well equipped. However, there were downsides to the room, as well as the hotel in general. There is a flat screen TV with satellite options. However, all of the channels are in Spanish. I didn't accept the offer of a remote control for the second night. And that TV is nailed down to the only table where one can put a laptop. So using the computer is rather cramped.

I'd go back. It's certainly worth the low price.

For an overnight crash near to the ferry terminal for an early morning boat it was what I expected. They do not have their own parking and for security recommend a near by car park which it turns out I was in anyway. The major downside was that my no smoking room had cigarette ash in the bathroom but did not reek the way other hotel rooms have.

One night only

We where intending to stay in Gibraltar me and my friend but as the price was ok for one room with twin beds we decided it's ok to stay here instead , photos look nice so let's go for it we thought ..

Arrived to the hotel and it's above a loud of kebab restaurants and promising comunity possibly from morroco or so and when we got inside and started to do our check in the twin bed became a single bed , so we where obliged to have changed the room , and prices and the whole situation changed because what was mentioned on wotif wasn't 100% true so we whereby very pleased at all with the situation , but we paid and kept a straight face ... we had a meeting in Gibraltarvin 1 hour so we didn't have time to mess around ...

When we get into the room , it's a very simple room , it was ok besides the matrace being those when you sit on you feel the bottom of the bed , and the bathroom being with black fungus in the corners , and paint splatters from repairs etc all over the mirror of the bathroom.

You can't have a bath because there isn't any plug so only showers are alowed .

But it's alright for one night and leave , but there are much better places that you can stay and for resinou the same price ..

I hope this can help , but we where not impressed and pretty disappointed with the distortion of facts ... because that was the only reason we stayed there in the first place ....

You get what you pay for

The hotel is convenient to the port, that's its only good quality. The hotel staff are not helpful at all. Didn't have any information on the town ie maps, brochures. After checking out they would not let me use wifi to confirm my next hotel. The walls are very thin, be prepared to hear every neighbor. Room was clean but the beds were not comfortable. Would not stay here again.

The hotel is at a great location either if you want to travel to Tangier or to Gibraltar (port and the bus station is only a few minutes on foot) or if you want to go to the city center which is about 10 minutes by walk.
The staff is very kind and helpful. Luggage locker room is available.

Wifi sometimes works sometimes doesn't. Bed is a little cramped, however the room is very clean.

The hotel is located between the bus and train stations and the ferry terminal, which is directly across the street. You can't get more convenient for catching the ferry to Morocco. It is also perfect for a day tip to Gibraltar. The hotel itself is faded, though no doubt once classy. It had excellent double, double-pane windows to block street noise, and huge rooms, though no amenities and no food service in the hotel. There is a paucity of restaurants in the entire city center.

Not a good hotel and in bad area, got in late and passed many escorts on the way from bus station so took a taxi. They issue you a remote for the tv, meaning they can't trust their guests with it normally. Didn't feel safe or comfortable. Changed hotels next morning. Wouldn't stay again.

Quick stay at Algeciras.

The old low-cost hotel is facing the busy Algeciras Harbour, surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants. Nothing much to see here. Just a convenient base to do daytrip to Tangier. We booked the RT trip to Tangier from one of the shops next door on the street. The fare included bus to Tarifa and back, about 63 Euros/person. We booked with Intershipping ferry company. The bus stop was across the street from the hotel, but still a 10-minute walk. Clean & reasonable size room. AC not working well. Breeze from the window helped.

Marina Victoria will give you what ou paid for. Basic, confortable enough ensuite rooms. located next to the Port it is an ideal place to spend a night waiting for your ferry. I'd recommend particularly if you are in a budget.

Convenient hotel to algeciras ferry

The room was basic. The cooler did not work very well, so it was hot and the street noise kept us awake. Complained to the hotel staff-they just said sorry. Convenient hotel for overnight stay if you are going by the ferry to Tangier. I would not use it for more than a day.

Good location with the Algeciras ferry port across the street and all other services within walking distance. Tour office next door with ferry tours offered to Africa from Algeciras or Tarifa. I took a tour from the Tarifa ferry port to Tangiers. A free bus was available from the Algeciras ferry parking lot to and from the Tarifa port. The tour was 50 euros but along with ferry ticket a tour guide led with a walking tour of the Tangiers market center, free lunch, and an ending bus tour of the city. A stop was made if you wanted to take a picture on a camel. Started at 10:00 am leaving the parking lot and ended up back at the hotel at 9:45 pm. A busy day well worth it. At the hotel, keep the windows closed at night as flying insects get in and I was on the 5th floor. I was amazed at what kind of insects can fly.

OK for the price and best location for Ferry. You need to know that there is Not AC in the rooms, but it is not so very hot in Algeciras due to nearly constant sea breezes. Also very close to train station. Easy to find. Kind and helpful desk staff.

Sketchy Area w/ Offsite Parking

After finding the hotel and going to check in I was disappointed to learn that their idea of free parking is actually a public parking lot about 2 blocks away from the hotel. The hotel was located on a very busy road so it was not easy to just pull the car over and drop the bags off before parking so we parked the car first and hauled our bags 2 blocks to get to the hotel and back to car afterwards. The rooms might have been clean but it was so dated that it just looked dirty. The beds were marginally more comfortable than cots, the pillows provided no support and the rooms were so noisy it was hard to get any sleep. You could hear everything from street noise to the rooms next door to the rooms above and below you. Not sure what was going on in some of the other rooms but every half hour or so you'd hear the screeching of furniture rubbing against the tiled floor. After an uncomfortable night of restless sleep we just checked out early and moved onto the next part of our trip. Oh to top it all of the wi-fi service broke down so we only had free wi-fi for part of our stay. Needless to say I will never be returning to this hotel.

Could not be better sited for those on their way to the Tangier or Ceuta ferry. This hotel has obviously seen better days but it is still perfectly comfortable. The atmosphere of faded grandeur is all-pervading from the antique lift to the clanking plumbing. The bed was perfectly nice and, if you have an upstairs front room, the view of sunrise over the harbour is a real bonus.

They gave me a room, which I assume was beside the elevator engine, every time someone pressed for the elevator this loud clunking noise started. To top that, the tiled floor echoed so much sound that I could hear people arguing on the street from my fourth floor room. Really clean and cheap but not at all relaxing

Fantastic Budget Room!

Fantastic! I just needed a room for 1 night near the ferry port, this place in directly opposite it, 2 minute walk! Checking in was so easy and fast, just showed my hotel.com papers and it was done, I only spoke English so we were limited on our conversation however that didn't matter. For 30 Euros the room was fantastic (same room in Sydney would cost triple that!), very comfortable bed, Free wifi and the air con worked great. I would recommend to stay in this type of room for possibly a night, 2 or 3 but longer term I would upgrade to something more spacious and nicer, but for what I needed 1 night, it was the best room! Staff at reception very nice too, I had a headache, I asked for where I could buy panadol, he pointed me i the right direction however it was closed, I returned he asked how I went, then he went off to find some and did in the hotel! A+++++ Thank you!

Hotel is fine for a night or two

This hotel is fine for a night or two. Very standard. We asked for a double bed but the request was denied, even though it seemed we were the only guests... I tried to call my wife at the hotel and the phone just rang and rang, i asked when i returned if the number was correct and the front desk confirmed it was, i was slighty annoyed becuase i had to walk all the way back to get in touch with my wife. The housekeeper did a great job, and if you are coming from or leaving through the port of Algeciras, the location is literally across the street. The Wifi worked well and we were able to take a bus to an amazing beach only 10 minutes away. Overall a pleasant stay for two nights, but if you are doing more than just \"passing through\" you might want to look elsewhere.

Fine hotel if you are using the ferry to cueta

This hotel is average at best but has a few positives. The staff are very friendly and will help if they can. Not the best with English, but enough to get by. There is a SECURE parking lot across the street at ok rates. I rented a convertible for the drive along the Spanish coast, which is def worth the extra cash!!!! I was worried about parking, but this place had large spaces (relative to Spain) and was lit and guarded all night. The ferry port was just across the street but I choose to go to Tarifa and take the ferry there to Tangiers. I would suggest staying in Tarifa rather than Algeciras as Tarifa is far more picturesque. Algeciras is a industrial town. anyhoo...this hotel is fine for the price if you choose to stay here for the ferry. The restaurants

Decent for the price. The absolute best trait is the location, right across the street from the port and a 10 minute walk from the train and bus stations. Algeciras is nothing special, but easy access to La Línea/Gibraltar, ferries to Morocco (including the free shuttle bus to Tarifa, the route I´d recommend). Great price, and you get what you pay for. Comfortable enough, but slightly old. For solo travels or younger folks, works just fine. Free Wi-fi with routers on each floor.

We stayed here en route to Gibraltar which worked fabulously! because the location is very close. Although the hotel's walls are VERY thin and we heard everything from next door. The area is a little dodgy and we were a little scared walking around the next morning - luckily we were just getting into our car and heading off! The staff were friendly and helpful, even when checking in at 2am!

Pas d eau chaude l eau douche se déverse jusqu’à la chambre en plus des travaux juste derrière le mure de la chambre.
Dans la publicité y indique parler le français ce qui était faut réception j avais l'impression de dérangé
Mon premier critère quand je réserve une chambre je regarde si ont parle français pour m aider durant ma visite.

Hôtel moyen ne vaut pas plus que le prix de 30 euros pour ma chambre ,trouve même hôtel un peu cher en général pour les prestations malgré tout salle de bain correcte et chambre propre , pas contre pas de petit déjeuner, pas de couvertures en plus j'ai eu un peu froid , en plus du bruit trés désagréable presque toutes les heures de canalisation ou je sais quoi..pas trés bien dormi ,juste avantage près du port pour les ferrys et en centre-ville..pour ma part je n'y retournerais pas..

Está muy bien situado y es relativamente fácil aparcar gratis en las proximidades. Buena relación calidad precio para estar de paso una noche. Habitación amplia, hay ascensor y bares para desayunar justo debajo. Está algo anticuado y el aspecto de la habitación podría mejorarse con muy pocas cosas, y como suele pasar en este tipo de establecimientos, hay poco mantenimiento y siempre encuentras algo que debería arreglarse, pero poca cosa.

Le séjour s'est bien passé, j'ai apprécié la gentillesse du personnel, la propreté de la chambre, l'emplacement géographique. Sauf que durant la nuit j'ai entendu du bruit provenant d'un chauffe eau électrique ou d'un matériel pareil qui m'a dérangé.

他の部屋はわからないのですが

私たちの部屋を港の見えるベランダ付きの長めの良い部屋にしてくれたので、朝夕の景色を楽しめてとても快適に過ごせました。ベランダ付きはあまり多くないのでラッキーでした。ここを拠点にしてモロッコ日帰りツアーに行ったりジブラルタルに行ったりしました。
隣の部屋の音は正直言ってうるさいです。電話を大声で書ける音や夜お祈りをされる音など神経質な人は気になるかもしれません。
スペインですがアラビア語（？）のほうがよく聞かれる界隈なのでちょっと不思議な感じもしました。近くの食堂の人たちが感じよかったのでホテルの近くで食事していましたが、メニューはなくてケースにある食材を指さしながら値段やどんな料理をするか聞く方式です。アルコール類は置いてありません。近くのスーパーマーケットソルに行けばありますので私はそこで購入してホテルの部屋で飲んでいました。
モロッコに行くよと言ったらホテルのスタッフがバッグに気を付けるようにと注意してくれました。私は部屋から眺める夜明けの景色がとても気に入りましたので、このホテルで満足しました。

Perfecto hotel y vale la pena

Personal muy muy muy amable y el dueño era muy simpatico y te ayuda muchisimo . Una cosa que falta en las habitaciones creo es no hay donde enchufar tu movil a parte en el baño y eso molesta un poco , si no el resto todo perfecto y muy muy cerca de todo .

フェリー乗り場が近いのでフェリー乗る人には良い！

早朝のフェリーに乗るため使用しました。アルヘシラスまで長距離バスで移動。バスターミナルから徒歩10分ほどでホテルに着きます。フェリー乗り場は徒歩10分あれば着くのでアクセスは良いです。
周りにはスーパーなどは見当たらなかったので、バスターミナル近くのケバブ屋さんで済ませました。夜出歩くのはおススメしません。
ホテルは、清潔感あり、部屋は広くて、シャワーの水圧も良し、バスタブ付きでした。ただ、壁が薄いのか隣の部屋のテレビや話し声が聞こえてきたり、同じように早朝出発の人がキャリーケースを転がして廊下を歩く音で目が覚めたりしたので、そういったことが気にならないのであれば便利だと思います。

Preço /qualidade está bem, o recepcionista é muito amável, o hotel tem os quartos limpos e espaçosos, o problema é as construções que estão à volta e dificultam o acesso, este hotel é bem localizado para quem quer apanhar o ferry para Marrocos.

Creo que vende una imagen que no tiene, ya que por lo menos mi experiencia no fue buena, un precio carisimo para las instalaciones. Despues de poner a funcionar y apagar el aire acondicionado la habitacion se inundo. Menos mal que solo me quede una noche.
