The room was as expected but the air conditioning was broken, the window only opened marginally and the were no blinds. The sun was so hot through the window we needed to shut the curtains and put the light on in the day. We were uncomfortably hot.

This hotel is just off the highway and a peefect spot for day trips to Gibraltar and Tangiers through the Tarifa port. Staff were prompt and friendly with an easy check in and out. One staffer promptly addressed a concern we experienced involving another guest (boisterous and inebriated). He spoke to the guest to warn them and he also offered us another room on another floor to move us from the area which we accepted.

Breakfast was good with plenty of seating options so we didn't have to wait for a table.
There is a shopping centre (more of an arcade), some big chain restaurants to eat at and a grocery store all within a 5 min walk from the hotel.

The hotel is on the older side but we found it clean, good space in the room and the beds were great.

Great place to acclimate from time zone change

This is third time we have stayed at Holiday Inn express in Spain, first time at this one. Breakfast was wonderful--I cant emphasize the benefit that this is. The rooms were clean. The sofa bed is sufficiently comfortable but a full bed would be better. Having said that, my large fat self slept very well on the Sofa bed. Parking was fine as street parking in that area is ample and easy to find right outside the hotel.

Kudos to this hotel and its staff. Their staff was very friendly and helpful explaining about a number of items including the bus, ATMs, etc. and storing our bags while we picked up our rental car. There was free breakfast with a wide variety of items. It is conveniently located. Highly recommend.

I arrived late after work, The guy on reception was super friendly and helpful upon check in, the room was good, bed comfy (I did book a double but was given a twin- but on my own so didn’t matter)
The breakfast was average and that’s being nice! - But it was included in the price. Check out was fast. I will happily stay again.

* This is a gripe with so many hotels we’ve stayed in. They don’t seem to consider their guests with respect to age. We had a bunch of teenagers put in rooms next to (with interconnecting doors) and near us who were incredibly noisy. Thanks for thinking about your guests Holiday Inn.

The Hotel is located in a very convenient area, near eating establishments that are at a short walking distance. The Hotel has free parking and the service is top notch. The breakfast is great with plenty of tasty options. Location is perfect for a short drive to visit Gibraltar or the Algeciras or Tarifa's ports to visit Morocco. Cant ask for better value!

Nice Hotel, Nice Room

Good hotel. Very comfortable and quiet. Excellent wireless. We found parking for our motorcycle, but the lot is not huge so if you get there late, you may have to park elsewhere.

Breakfast was buffet style with a huge seating area. I like that. Overall, a great stay.

Nice clean hotel. Had a good experience staying here it’s a very clean and nice place. Although I knew before coming here that it’s in the middle of no where but since we have to go to Gibraltar it was my only closest and cheapest choice. I am glad I stayed here. For the price it was a nice comfortable hotel. Gibraltar was 20 min taxi ride. The next morning we had to go to catch the ferry for tangier and it was about 10-12 min taxi ride.

The location was great for us since it was close to both Gibraltar and to the port In Tarifa. It was next to a mall and had several food options. The downside was it didn’t have refrigerator. Having two kids 3 and under, it would have been useful.

The location was good if you are going to visit Gibraltar. There was a mall handy if you need anything. The check in was easy and good customer service. Unfortunatley the room had a smokey smell (appeared past guesses were smoking even though it was smoke free). Buffet breakfast was good.

If you like to seat for breakfast you must arive early, breakfast area to small for all people at the hotel, breakfast was good no complaints,car parking is smoll too.otherwise we had good stay at the hotel.
