Every thing was good the only thing that made me nervous was i am a senor citizen (75) and a bit unsteady and when I showered there was no rubber mat to stop slipping and having a hand grip device would of made me way more comfortable and secure in the shower Other than that room was A OK

Came with a large party and rented multiple rooms. There was various bugs in every room. Sheets felt dirty to the touch. Didn’t sleep well. Would probably sleep on the beach before I rented a room here again.

We were passing through Penticton and booked the night at Spanish Villa Resort. We communicated online, including checking in, which worked just fine. The room as clean, bed comfy and the night was quiet. Everything we needed and the price was great. Would stay here again for sure.

The motel is old & a bit 'tired'. Saggy curtains etc,
But the unit was clean. Towels & bedding very tidy & clean. Wrinkled pillowcases, but they were fresh & clean.
Bed & pillows VERY comfortable.
Deep bathtub was a bonus. It had definitely been updated.
Both wine glasses were dirty, but all other glasses & coffee cups clean.

Check-in was all done via text messaging/online.
Room number & door code sent by text message.
The room numbers were a little confusing at first and my door code didn't work the first couple times I tried it. Then I saw a 'check-mark' icon on one of the lower buttons & tried it after the code. Open Sesame.
I did receive a personal phone call the next morning asking how everything was. That was a nice touch.
I suggested my confusion with the room numbers & door code check-mark and the gal apologized that I was not sent the 'email' at check-in explaining those details. I guess the person 'checking' me in online & texting forget that step.
It turned out alright for me.

Parking in the courtyard was well lit & I felt safe getting into my room.
The unit was quiet even though I was at the very front of the building facing the street.
I slept soundly.

I was charged twice for the pet fee although I was told I would only have to pay once $300 for two weeks and cleaned room only once. Then I found a needle in my room at the top of the closet. Called multiple times daily adding so much stress saying I owe more money, wanted to charge twice, said I was quoted in US dollars when it clearly stated CAN dollars. Was never provided a real receipt. Was forced to deal with this booking app which was also a terrible experience.

Shady. Feel like I’ve been scammed.

Check in was a disaster. There is nobody at the desk. I was looking around because I had already booked and paid for this through Expedia. Finally a guy comes out who is just staying there, said he is helping the owners. He was the only one on site. The was no record of me booking that he could see so he phoned the owners which also said they had no record of me booking. It was a good thing that I have the receipt on my phone which said the property owner has already received funds. Also the door locks didn't work very well as we have someone enter our room at 2:30 am.

This looks like it was a good motel that hasn't had any major upkeep in 20 years. Good potential and nice location, but buildings require upkeep.

Their policy of no changes or refunds to reservations was the most strict of any motels I booked through Expedia.
Expedia had to call the manager to allow me to change my reservation from 3 nights to 2 nights.
Kudos to Expedia for helping me as a customer.

WE HAD A BIT OF AN ISSUE THAT HAD TO GET FIXED. WE SHOWED UP AND THE TOILET WAS BROKEN. THEY COULDN'T FIX IT SO WE GOT UPGRADED TO A DIFFERENT SUITE THAT WAS A BUT BIGGER THAN THE ORIGINAL. WHICH IS GREAT BECAUSE THE ORIGINAL ROOM WE WERE IN DEFINITELY NEEDED TO BE CLEANED BETTER ANYWAYS. THERE WAS A COUPKE SHORT CURLY HAIRS IN THE BATHTUB AND AND THE DIMPLES IN THE LINO WERE FULL OF OLD DIRT. THIS WAS THE THIRD OR FOURTH TIME STAYING THERE AND GENERALLY OUR STAY IS 100%. HOPEFULLY THIS WAS JUST A TEMPORARY OVERSIGHT THEY CAN CLEAN AND NEVER BE AN ISSUE FOR ANYBODY ELSE. THE BEDS KIND OF SINK IN THE MIDDLE AND MAKE YOU ROLL TOWARDS THE MIDDLE. I HOPE YOU LIKE TO SNUGGLE WITH THE PERSON YOU ARE SHARING A BED WITH LOL

This is one of those older well kept holiday properties on the beachfront of Okanagan Lake.
Affordable and iconic , I hope these properties remain the way they are , welcoming ordinary working people and families.

The beach across the street. I like the location where the hotel is not right in the middle of crowds but not far from them. Parking is a bit tough but still okay. The room was good just too compact with the big dining table. The bathroom for sure need a fan. Customer service is great. Overall it was a good stay. Will for sure comes back!

We stayed in the room with two bedrooms and a kitchen with the lake view. The rooms were clean and spacious. The bathroom had a leaking tub faucet and the exhaust fan did not work but that was minor. The knives in the kitchen were extremely dull so I would recommend bringing your own if you plan on cutting vegetables. For the first night we had a parking spot right outside our door which was amazing but the last two nights over-height vehicles snagged our spot which was unfortunate. The beds were comfortable and the room was nice and cool, but we could hear people above us easily. The location was unbeatable. We will definitely stay here again!

Hotel’s standard has dropped significantly! Have been staying with them for many years but both the standard and service is less than average. Room’s standard is not worth the price! Such small rooms with squeezed in furniture. We arrived around 8:30pm and the hallway light didn’t work, blinds didn’t work, screen door wouldn’t close, etc. Extremely tight space overall. TV stand’s wood strip had come loose and tore some of my tops while going by because of lack of space. For the steep price they do not offer house keeping and we’d to pickup fresh linen from the office which is ridiculous! Only plus point was check-in/out. We definitely won’t be staying here anymore

Only Negative was our room was above the BBQ station and every night was huge group there partying and BBQ and blocking the Stairs to our room. There is no house keeping whatsoever. You have to get your own towels and take out your garbage. Change your own sheets its more like a hostel. No services at all. Office is closed very early nobody there if you need anything. Bed very old and uncomfortable and the shower is awful! No temperature control. Best thing is the location right by the beach. Pictures on website is decieving the rooms are very old and out dated. Much better to stay for the same money or less. Maybe worth 50 bucks a night.

Bed was comfortable. Nice to have a kitchenette if you want to cook. Our bathroom had mould on the ceiling. They have a narrow check-in window. They even phoned me to check in early as they wanted to go home (even though we would arrive well within the window). Office closes early. The worst part was that our room wasn't even cleaned yet. Dirty floor, dirty dishes, hair in sink, towels in the tub and a USED CONDOM ON THE FLOOR IN THE BEDROOM when we went in. Parking is extremely tight so be advised. The biggest draw is being across the street from the beach, so sweet location in the summer (lots of families hanging out in the parking lot).

Hi, booked this motel just because I y ia closer to the beach with kids. And there was good google review. However we at the time of check in we had to wait in the beach as we arrived later. Good that we allowed to park car inside. When we came back there were two drag users at our door trying to use the drags and hide from the rain(( Rooms are smelly and ugly. Old aircon ia Yoo loud. In a bathroom you can not stay bare feet. However there is Wi-Fi, kettle, coffee, glasses and old towels, good that we could change them between 2-6pm as the room has no ventilation. Any way the only good thing was - close beach. Will never ever come back to this motel. I washed my clothes back at home twice from the smell((

We stayed three nights. The room was clean and standard. We were pleased to have a refrigerator and microwave. Check-in was easy. The location is excellent, right across from the beach. It was a bit difficult to find parking inside the hotel if you're returning late. There's more parking at the back of the building, but it seems very isolated. There are plenty of dining options within walking distance and activities for children. The price we paid was reasonable considering it's summer.

There was no daily housekeeping, so the sand that came in from outside our room was tracked inside and was never cleaned up.
The front door lock chain pulled the door jam loose from the top corner when I tested the lock chain. My husband had to pound it back together.
Any change of linens had to be taken to the desk and exchange there.
We will not recommend this place and certainly never return ourselves
