The first room I was put in smelled like mildew, and the fridge didn’t work. They moved me to a new room. Every time we were in the office customers were complaining. Overall we were taken care of and the room we ended up in was very clean and comfortable.

There isn’t one negative thing to say about our recent stay.

Three best friends on a beach getaway had such an enjoyable time from start to finish. The staff was wonderful, the room had an amazing gulf view, and the convenience of having towels and supplies readily available made everything so easy. The location was perfect and within walking distance to so many different restaurants, shops, and attractions.

We had a fantastic trip and will definitely be returning - just book us the same exact dates next year, in the same room LOL! Not even kidding :)

I 1000% loved this place! First time here, and won’t be the last! The King-sized bed was so comfortable and the studio room was so convenient with a fully stocked kitchenette and full-size fridge! It truly felt like home, and I wish I could just sign a lease and move-in! The private deck overlooking the beach and Gulf of Mexico was my favorite spot, other than being on the beach 😁

We had stayed here before a few years ago and loved it enough we had to go back! There's not a bad View from any of the rooms and the beach is spectacular! We saw dolphin every morning and the best sunsets every night! It's close to Treasure Island and John's Pass, Lots of great food and the beds are comfy and the staff accommodating.

However, the room we had was full of old, beat up furniture that I would have drug to the curb. Very used up place. If they put a few dollars into it it could be awesome.

Shoreline exceeded my expectations. It was so good in every way. Excellent location, right on the beach and a fantastic sea view from our room. The staff were really nice from the moment we arrived. We particularly liked the way the resort was run. Cleaning when you wanted it, no smoking anywhere, beach towels freely available, a good laundry if you needed. Many guests were returning numerous times. Thank you to all the staff at Shoreline.

This was our first time at Shoreline Island. I was very pleasantly surprised. From the outside at first look it just looks like all the other older hotels but it is definitely not! The staff were very kind and friendly, especially Patty! The rooms are really nice and clean. They provided everything including laundry soap(our room had a washer/dryer in room). The pool is wonderful as are all the grounds of the hotel. They have a great bbq area for guests and plenty of tables and chairs for guests to sit outside. Our room faced the ocean so we got to watch breathtaking sunsets right from our balcony if we did want to walk out in the sand. It’s a fine powdery sand which was lovely when walking, it didn’t tear up my feet. Plenty of stuff close enough to walk to. A full kitchen with everything you need. Chairs, umbrellas and cabana things you can rent. I honestly just can’t say enough good things about the Shoreline. I could go on and on for hours about how great our week long stay was.

Pros: The room was clean, freshly painted, and updated. The kitchen was nice and well stocked with kitchenwares, and the in-room washer & dryer was great! The balcony view from the living area and the bedroom was ocean, sky, beach and pool. Beautiful!

Cons: the AC units were loud. They sat low on the wall and vented to the balcony so sitting on the balcony was not that pleasant. The bedroom unit was maybe 2 feet from the bed and was literally in your face while laying down. We wedged a pillow between the mattress and night stand to create a barrier. We were in the middle building that overlooked the pool. The security light on the adjacent building was blinding at night time. It appeared to be angled toward our building so night time views were drowned out by that light. Bummer!

No music was allowed at the pool. You could bring your own but had to use ear phones/buds. The facility did not have music either. Food and drinks were allowed at the tables by the pool but you couldn’t take your drink to the pool with you even if it was plastic & lidded. That was a bummer for an adults only place.

The king bed was very firm, had high spots across it. Pressure points in my hips and shoulders were achy every morning. Pillows and bedding was nice, but the mattress was quite hard and rolly.

We are not party animals, but would have liked more excitement. Quiet, very low key, no bar, no music. Some music and pool-side drinks by responsible adults would be better!!

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here and will stay here again when we go back. Fantastic view, right on the beach. Great beds, clean and nice kitchenette. We deducted 1 star because the elevator was hit or miss. My wife had a knee replacement and not 100%. A few times we had to take the stairs which was a challenge. Luckily it was only the 2nd floor. We realize they are still recovering from the hurricane though. The kitchenette had zero provisions except dish soap. We had to buy paper towels, salt and pepper, coffee filters etc. Also had to go down and ask for a frying pan. Not major but didn't have to get all that stuff the first time. All in all a great place to stay if you don't have kids and would rather avoid them.

We would stay here again, I think. The room was clean, although it needed to be aired out for a while upon arrival; new carpeting may be in order. We both slept really well and appreciated the quality bedding. Listening to the ocean waves while falling asleep was priceless! -Also, the water pressure in the bathroom was quite good. We came here to celebrate our 7yr Anniversary. The staff was nice. The views of the Gulf were immaculate as well as the sunsets. The room was fairly clean. We found a dirty sock in the closet & around the bathroom sink faucet could’ve been wiped down. There was quite a bit of what looked like white a dried white substance around the fixture. Overall, we would stay here again.

I’d stayed at the Shoreline 4 or 5 times prior to this stay,all except the first time booked directly with Shoreline.i was going to book through them for this trip but the price was raised a substantial amount the day before and there was a deal on Hotels.com so I booked the deal. We showed up about 3.5 hours before check-in and I asked just about parking so we could grab some beach time. I was asked if we wanted to check-in and we could go get some lunch and the room should be ready. There was a snide comment made because we had booked that morning through Hotels rather than them. We go back close to 90 minutes later and told it wasn’t ready, there’s only 1 maid and they only guaranteed check-in by 4pm. It was said a little aggressively, they were the ones who offered, I had only been asking about parking. We were told we would get a call when the room was ready. 4pm rolls around and hadn’t heard anything so I went to the office and asked if room was ready and why they hadn’t called. They said they tried,I asked what # they had and it was the correct one so obviously they lied about it. I like the hotel but with the way I was played with by their staff because I went with Hotels.com rather than directly with them ( they were $70 a night more ) and they were definitely bothered by that, its is a nice place to stay ,right on the beach & comfortable rooms. I’d always enjoyed it there and stayed multiple times but because of the staff I will never stay there again or recommend.

The staff was great at communicating some issues with the non functioning elevators. The staff were all very friendly. awe

The area in general was significantly damaged in 2024 by Helene & Milton. Although there were still some repairs occurring, the staff have done an amazing job at restoring the beauty to the property.

The property is very clean as well as the room, pool area, and beach area.

There were some beach items at the property for use. We did rent beach lounge chairs, and beach umbrella from a local vendor.

Room was great and views of the beach were awesome. The only issues we had were that the ice machine in our building was broke and we had to go to the adjacent building to get ice. The worst issue was that we were on the fourth floor and after arrival, the elevator broke down and we had to climb four floors of stairs to go out, get ice and drag our luggage down to the car when leaving. The office stated they would help with the luggage but there wa no mention of compensation for the inconvenience.

We had booked a water view room. We were on the 3rd floor and not many of the rooms booked. However, they put as almost all the way down to the end so our view was only 90 degrees as there other building was in front of ours and started at the end of our balcony. That was also the direction the sunset was, so we didn't see that. If you are looking for customers that is not the way to go about it.

Our stay was amazing with such a beautiful view of the Gulf. I'm pretty sure all the rooms face the water which I'm sure is nice for all guest. Throughout the day you can see dolphins swimming close to shore. You can also tell that the staff really put in the effort to not only have our rooms cleaned but the outside areas by the pool as well. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

We recently stayed at the Shoreline island resort for a girls weekend trip. We had a beautiful ocean view from our balcony & even saw a dolphin in the morning. Easy access to the beach, lots of options nearby for dining & shopping. The room was clean with daily cleaning if desired we opted out of that for our stay. Parking was convenient. The front office staff were super friendly and helpful with our questions. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

I loved the ice machine, elevator and access to beach. The location was awesome. I really loved the lady who checked us in. She was fantastic. However, everyone but the younger gentleman we're not friendly or kind. Never said even a hello when going into the office, just looking at me like what do you want. I was not impressed by that at all. I guess maybe they didn't want a 40 yr old and her 21 year old daughter staying with them, even though we never made a peep, just enjoyed the ocean all day.

Everything was nice but you're not allowed to smoke anywhere on the property. We have medical license to smoke and couldn't do it on our balcony. The pool should be open all night since its an adult only resort. I would recommend a broom or small vacuum for the rooms as they do tend to get sandy, especially if you're there for several days. Overall, the staff was nice and the beach was amazing.

Very quiet and peaceful place, it gives a retirement resort type of feel.
Location was perfect! Beachview room and direct beach access from pool deck.
Not to mention walkable to a gas station across the street and Caddy’s on the beach to eat/drink.
