I think the bedding was clean , but the floors were not with finger nail clippings , hand prints and dirt on walls, Hand prints on shower curtains. It was tidy , but not clean . Friendly staff, but could hear through walls easy . Could have stayed many other places for the same price .

Not Recommended for Poor Upkeep

We booked a family suite on this trip. The size and layout of the room were good- large enough for 4 adults and 2 children. We did a very late check-in , around 10pm as we were stuck in a bad traffic situation on the highway. The front desk person on duty was helpful.

However, we were very disappointed with the lack cleanliness in the suite. The toilet and bathtub looked like it was not scrubbed down. The bed linens appeared to have not been replaced after previous use. The worst of it all was the sofa bed which was clearly not made/cleaned after the last guest. When we pulled it out, it looked like someone had just used it and chucked everything in- very disappointing. The toilet door could not be closed- faulty mechanism. And strong stench outside balcony and along corridor to room.

We have never stayed here before but found it for a last minute trip.

Everyone was friendly and helpful when we needed to ask questions. The pool and hottub were good and very clean.

Basic facilities but was an enjoyable stay.

Despite the age of the hotel it was a nice. The hotel is getting some updates soon so should be better afterwards.

I booked the superior room for 3 people.
Cleanliness: This is an older property but the room looked like it had been reno'd recently. I felt everything was clean and this was confirmed when I noticed even the window sills/blinds were clean!
Beds: the mattress is very soft. Same with the pillows. I prefer a firm bed but the other two guests in my room LOVED the beds.
A/C: AC was comfortable but loud in the middle of the night when it would intermittently turn on.
Extra touches: There is a nespresso machine in the room which is a nice touch.
Amenities: Did not use the pool/hot tub nor the fitness area so I cant provide feedback on that.
Location: awesome location. I enjoy walking so everything is convenient. 15 min walk to Wayne and Freda Cafe. 8 min walk to the Penticton Channel! There is a Co-op corner store across the street and Denny's if you need something late night/quick.
Front desk: Dealt with Colin the entire weekend. Such a gem! Im not from Penticton and he provided really good recommendations for everything! Pleasant and friendly person. Great at the job.

Loved the huge bed. Enjoyed the convenience of having my room and parking spot on the ground floor.

Room floors were filthy. My feet were dirty after walking around in the room. Lots of accumulated dust and debris under firniture.

While the room had a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker, there was only decaf available. I work in the same industry so i know that is simply not true.

The bath tub was very slow to drain and after a quick shower, there was standing water in there.

I paid for a family suite that was supposed to include a jetted tub and I was misinformed yet still paid for what hotels.com room description included. The room was also not ready for almost 2 hrs as expected for check in time and a one towel included for 4 persons. The hotel floor was very dirty! Won't stay there again, no receipts were given to me a new staff member ever day, too much turn around.

Disappointed and turned off this location

When you book a hotel that has EV charging as part of the services then you pull up and tell you they don’t own the chargers do you feel they false advertised? I do especially when they charge $3.50 an hour!! At least put the charge on your website so people can make an educated decision on where to stay. I hope the upcoming renovation will change this experience.

Loved our time here! It's location is awesome perfect to go anywhere from. The bears Den is a really good breakfast restaurant, has one of the best eggs Benedict I've had in awhile. The staff to you are super accommodating. I had to add an extra night and they added the extra night with no frustrations or anything. 10 out of 10 will be coming back

The property itself was great and very close to the venue for the event we attended. There was however, a large group of families staying there over multiple floors that caused an excessive amount of noise from after the event until 2:30am. We likely would not stay here again after an event based on this and would choose a hotel a bit farther away from the venue for a quieter night. However, if you can sleep through anything then the property is a great location for after an event and the room was clean.

Traveling to Penticton for concerts at the SOEC is becoming a regular occurrence for me, and the location of this hotel in relation to the venue is PERFECT. The staff were amazing, and the facilities were wonderful. Our only complaint was the shower temp never got above \"tepid / room temp\", which may be the ideal recommended shower temp, but I prefer hot showers in the morning.

This could be a 4 or 5 star one day. Service is friendly. Newly renovated and clean. Hot tub had good working jets. In room though the tv had very limited channels and the remote was hard to navigate to get to the few channels. Was annoying big time. Would not just go back to channel 2 or 3 by pressing 2 or 3 and by pressing 02 and 03!

The shower in pool area was scorching hot to the max and there wasn't any colder water! I got stuck with shampoo in my eyes and face.

It is so bright from the outside cause of their very bright sign so to have better blinds would be a big plus.

Bring own small fan to draw out the noise from a busy street and early am traffic.

Great experience at check in. Stayed with two young kids. The rooms were clean and the hotel seems to be newly renovated. Beds were so comfy! Free coffee in the lobby was convenient. The location is perfect - walking distance to the beach. Plenty of parking when we arrived. Used the pool and hot tub twice and basically had it to ourselves as it was later in the evening. The restaurant attached to it was also great! We would definitely stay again!

This is a decent place to stay if you are attending a conference at the Penticton Trade and Conference Centre. It is a five minute walk and has plentiful parking. It's not a fancy place but it has all the basics and is decently clean for a motel. It appears to be modernized. My room didn't have carpet which keeps the place cleaner. I thought I would hear more traffic noise, but I think they installed sound proof windows. It worked for the conference I was at.
