When we arrived the fridge had left food in from the previous People and the toilet had Something yuk in like someone had vomit in there .. besides that the stay was good enough

Shower curtain was filthy, I was bitten over night on my hands overnight, only 2 tea bags in the room, no iron which was fine but no option to borrow one either. Free internet is useless but was warned about that on check in. Phone signal is minimal.

The place was exactly as described nice small quiet caravan park. Close to midland and bus stop if you preferred right out the front to take you into the shopping district or train station.
Room was as expected i took a single room it was clean and everything i could need for a few days stay.

I had booked a twin room but on late arrival there was only a king bed so I slept on the couch with a spare blanket. Huge cockroach in bedroom! Very dirty on small back patio.

Staff were really nice, cabin 60 was a good layout, comfy bed. Saw a quenda bandicoot, sleepy lizards.
The pool was well kept. Lovely peaceful surroundings. Parking included.

Slight smell from bathroom, and no saucepan or pot to cook with. Wifi lagging.

We booked 1 night and didn't even stay the night. We had a cabin with no amenities inside. Instead it was a communal one. We didn't expect that. Its a nice area, but after a long trip to get to there and problems checking in with almost 45min stuffing around upon arrival, we didn't feel we could rest easily. Therefor we left and booked somewhere else.

I arrived early, as my flight to Vietnam did not happen due to visa complications. My cabin was ready within one hour at 11am! I appreciated the free WIFI, as the mobile service (Telstra Network) was terrible. 1/5 bars from the tower! So, as a location, not the best, but solution was at hand. Thank you!

Friendly helpful staff, family and pet friendly, good central location but not too close to busy traffic for what we needed, cabins are clean just need some up keep like exhaust fans in kitchenette and bathroom don’t work, mattresses and pillows are really hard.

Staff at reception on checking in were friendly and helpful , nice quiet tourist Park, the Cabin I stayed in had everything I needed and toilet, showers, and laundry nice and close, credit to the staff the facilities as in shower and toilet blocks were clean an tidy, thank you, I definitely recommend if you need quiet stay close to airport 🙏

Very late check-in, which worked OK. Tried to settle in quickly but there were constant tapping and dripping noises from the roof directly above the living area, close to bedroom (it was a rainy night). I found the bed noisy & uncomfortable also, like old springs or weak base, so moved to the lounge so my partner wouldn't be disturbed but me tossing around.
By early morning the cold was intense, like no insulation, and I shivered for hours (no heating in living area). Then early morning could hear noise from adjoining chalet.
Basically, had a very disturbed uncomfortable night and left there feeling drained.
Won't go back and won't recommend it.

Internet very iffy, so tv reception very hit and miss, mostly miss.
We stayed here as we were having work done on our house. So the internet would have been an advantage.
Otherwise, excellent if you were on holiday.

The cabin we stayed in was lovely and the park itself was well laid out with great amenities. The price was also very reasonable.

One big negitive for those that rely on mobile coverage, is what seemsto be a void around the location of the park. No one was able to get mobile reception for calls, messaging or data.

We had 3 kids staying with us in the cabin and another daughter with her fiance staying on the other side of the park with different mobile services. None of us were able to get mobile reception.

In addition, the parks WiFi did not work for either of our cabins the entire time we were there either.

Extremely loud aircon units on the one bedroom unit rooms , can hear your neighbors through the walls
Reception is very poor struggled to use my own data / be able to order Ubers to get to the airport.
The free wifi lasts about an hour and after that you don’t get reception

Without of doubt the worst accommodation, avoid. I arrived at 830pm after hours check in which was fine, instructions a little vague but i managed to get to my room. I opened the door & instantly was overcome by a powerful stench that resembled extremely bad body odour. I said to myself surely that smells not coming from the room, maybe a windows open? Is it the plumbing or even possibly me? No i was right the first time, it was the room, it was that unbearable i had to walk back outside. The guest next to me walked outside & introduced herself, I asked if her room smelled, hers didn’t. I told her the smell in my room. I opened the door to get my belongings & the guest said “oh I can smell it now” and she was a few metres away from the door. As it was late, and it was after hours I decided to book accom else were, I emailed banksia tourist park complaining about the state of the room, & I’d be staying at accom elsewhere & I requested a refund. I could have contaced the after hours phone number & request to change rooms, but it was late & school holidays I just wanted to sleep in a clean room. The next day the tourist park responded & said the room was checked prior to my arrival & there was no smell, they declined to refund for the stay. I then stated for the sake of the business maybe someone else should inspect the room. They then stated the room was inspected by a manager who removed the bed, sheeting, fridge & the aircon lol & stated there was no smell. Liars, I gave up.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom chalet bottom level hear every noise from the guests staying up stairs.side door threw to laundry bangs from the wind making it real annoying woke up multiple times threw the night.had nothing but trouble with the key card system that every time we got back to the accommodation we couldn't get in to the chalet because the card reader wouldn't read our key card.wifi does not work.

If you are not from Perth or AUS, I would not book this place. It is isolated and not in walking distance to stores. Wifi doesn't work most of the time.Nice people.

I did not notice that the accommodation didn't have an ensuite so was shocked to find no bathroom. There was no hot water in the room yet we were expected to wash the dishes. with the cost of the room yet we were expected to put out the rubbish. Not happy and wouldn't stay again.

Nice gardens. The small unit I had was good but the door lock has an issue. You can't really lock the door properly from outside. It locks, but you can still open the door if you pull on it. Aside from that, it was a pleasant stay. All the facilities looked really good. I would stay here again.

Through a miscommunication between the booking app and the park I paid several hundred dollars which was later revealed as non refundable and I could not stay at the park because I had a dog. Nothing was made clear except one thing, I lost a lot of money.

If late check-in to the hotel, we don't recommend this hotel.
Impossible to get the passcode for late check-in as they requested customers to make a call to their hotel instead via email (that's extremely inconvenient if customers are not in Australia)
Made a few distance calls to the hotel but they only sent a few confused sms (even wrong customer name n information) and finally the date we check-in we didn't receive the right passcode. It finally took us another 2 hours for check-in

Spent one night at the Banksia Tourist Park and we were well accommodated for. The two bedroom pet friendly cabin was great size for 2 ad 2 ch and a small pet. The cabins do have a couple of steps in them between the lounge/bunk/bathroom and the kitchen/main bed. Communication from the admin was prompt and friendly. Would stay again

Booked a cabin for short stay to attend a convention. Comfortable and clean, lots of facilities available. Impressed with how well maintained all the park was, including the grounds. We were 'out of hours' check in and out, arranged on the phone, clear directions and easy done. Would recommend.b

There was no WIFI access in my room which was critical or my stay in Perth. I contacted management through a phone call and email requesting a refund so that I could book alternative accommodation where I would have WIFI. They refused to provide a refund, instead they offered my two free coffee's and access to wifi in a public area... this was unsuitable for my needs, but they were not understanding of my situation. I was angry and disappointed that they could not see their way clear to assisting me more. I felt that was an unnecessary adherence to their cancellation policy with no thought to their guests needs and that they were unable to fulfil those. Their excuse was that they never advertised a guarantee for WIFI access in their rooms, but to my mind this was simply a cop-out. I would have been able to give them a wonderful review if they had shown an ounce of compassion or understanding.
I shall never be able to recommend their park and I certainly will never stay there again.

I liked that the park was a very quiet area but there was only a walking area for dogs. No outdoor seating at property. Outdoor light at property not working. Swimming pool not open at appointed time of nine o clock in mornings.
There was no shop at the park therefore a car is essential.
On the plus side our property had a very good shower and bed was very comfortable.

An alarm went off from midnight until 3am saying “this is a restricted area, the police are on their way, please leave the area.” The police never came.

The next morning I told the front desk about it and they both looked totally shocked, then one girl lied and said they already knew about it and thanked me for telling them.

No apology. We were only there for two nights and spent half of the first one worried someone’s had broken into the property.

On top of that, there were 5 baby cockroaches in the fridge and more on the walls. When we checked in they took down heaps of information about us and it felt like we were picking someone up from prison.
