Perfect location and beautiful room. We were walking distance to everything. The breakfast was amazing and worth adding. The staff was great and we loved the gym. The restaurants and bars had gorgeous views. I would stay here again. The only thing I was disappointed with was that the hot tub was a part of the spa and required a purchase of the spa package to utilize so we didn’t get to put our bathing suits to use. But I probably read the site wrong that’s my fault.

We came back to the room one night to a surprise slice of cake and a hand written card for my boyfriend's birthday, even though his birthday wasn't til 2 weeks later. That was very nice of the staff to go the extra mile to make our stay feel even more special.

This is a lovely hotel, and the last stop on our 10-day vacation to Japan. We had stayed in ryokans and hotels on our previous nights. The Centara might be considered more of a “business hotel,” and was very nicely appointed. We had a corner room on the 23rd floor, which afforded a sweeping view of Osaka. Our room was spacious, even by U.S. standards, and especially so by Japan standards. Separate room for WC & tub/shower. mirror/sink/vanity had a window behind it with city views. Breakfast was not included, but we went down for one morning. There were stations for Thai, Western, and Japanese fare. Good auto-coffee machine. Great location as well, near the train station and “everything” else we wanted to see. Helpful staff. Highly recommend.

My room was absolutely incredible. I had a corner room with a city view. I was blown away by how beautiful the city was from so high up (31st floor). The room was big, but still cosy. It was a very comfortable stay and the breakfast was perfect to set me up for the day. The hotel team were very courteous and helpful and it all made for an extremely pleasant stay. If / when I come back to Osaka, I shall be choosing Centara Grand Hotel again!

There were no perks for silver members. This is a must!! The room taxes were high & the additional room tax of 500¥ was insane bust standard. I had a kid screaming in the next door room until 1:30a. It was in a difficult location & the mall it is attached to was closed for 2 days for cleaning!!

Room was spotless and clean everyday. We stayed for 9 days. The buffet breakfast was Western style and authenticThai Style as the chefs are Thais. As for the staffs they were all knowledgeable ,courteous and accomodating as to our needs. The 24hrs onsite gym has well stock modern equiptments...no waiting. The hotel is in the heart of Dotonburi,Osaka castle and many shopping and historical sites. I will most definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family. I will return to this hotel again next year.

The room was fairly big compared to other Japanese hotels in general, and we could open widely our two big luggages and still had so much space to move around the room. Very clean facilities and the view from the window was nice. Although there is still around 10-15 minutes walking distance to the Dotonburi side, it was considerably a very nice hotel to stay and I would come back again if i happen to visit Osaka in the future.

We had a great stay! However we didn’t feel that the overall rating of 5 stars was justified. It was nice and walkable but not our favorite stay in Japan. No complaints, staff just wasn’t as attentive as other places. Overall, solid if you want to be in the center of the shopping district.

Centara is a budget friendly stay if you are wanting something convenient and close to Namba station. It has very central transportation. Staff were lovely and check in was easy. Rooms were clean, but the room was a little dated with technology and charging ports. Bathroom was very basic. Room size was small for a twin and tea and coffee making facilities limited.

Was stating the club level , and was asked to go the 32 floor for breakfast .
The breakfast here was very ordinary in terms of offerings and service , waited one morning for over 20 mins without my order arriving, left without breakfast very disappointing ! Considering it wasn’t busy then .
The staff bit helpful or polite which was not experience anywhere else in Japan
The next day went downstairs to their main lobby , so much better !!! Wasted two nights of my stay going to the club level.

The room was quite small for the price that we paid. The 2 'double' beds were very narrow.

We input 2 adults and 2 children, and some of the pictures showed us an interconnecting room, which is what we expected. When we got to the room, we were surprised that it was only one room for 4 people with very narrow beds.

The breakfast was good.
The location was super convenient for malls, transports, foods. Very safe.

Just very disappointed with the bed and room size for the price we paid for.

Centara Grand Hotel Osaka is a very good hotel with an excellent location. The reception team was professional and helpful. When I first checked in, the room I was given was slightly smaller than what I expected based on the listing. I informed the front desk, and they changed the room immediately, which I really appreciated.
The hotel feels new, well maintained, and the overall service was very good. I would also like to thank Risky from the concierge team for his kind assistance.
My only drawback is that the “king-size bed” was actually two single beds pushed together, which was not very comfortable.
Would still recommend it for the location, service, and overall quality.

Had the most amazing stay here. Booked a mother daughter massage that was perfection. Hotel has unbeatable location. Everything about it is great. Love this hotel. Fantastic location right at Namba train station. Walking distance to Dotonburi. Next to Takashimaya mall, tons of places to eat and lots of things to do. Everything is readily accessible.

Breakfast was ok but still worth the price. Staff was fantastic. Hotel has several cool restaurants within the building. Views from hotel are fantastic. Rooms were modern, clean and spacious.

Great hotel! Staff was attentive and thoughtful.
The room was spacious. The open bathroom style was convenient for getting ready in the morning, with the sink outside and the toilet and shower area separated into two rooms.
Hallways are quiet most of the time, aside from the occasional sound of people passing by.
The elevators to the rooms are limited access to those staying at the hotel. There was little to no wait for the elevators.
Breakfast buffet was 10/10. Food options consisted of Japanese, Thai, and Western. Everything was delicious. You are free to sit anywhere.
The hotel is conveniently located near Namba Station. You can walk straight through Namba Parks and into the 2nd floor lobby, which is easier than walking on the sidewalks.

Staff was polite but not very helpful. Hotel is a bit of a walk from the subway station. We left some items we purchased in the room by accident and we were downstairs trying to have our luggage held. The items could have been easily returned to us. Overall this hotel is overpriced for what you get.

This was the second hotel I stayed at during my first trip to Osaka. I was there for two nights on the 29th floor. The room was amazing and offered a great view overlooking Namba Park and what I believe was Den Den Town. The Christmas decorations being set up were a nice touch, and I appreciated being invited to the Christmas tree lighting ceremony as well.

Breakfast menu is extensive and they change enough of it everyday so you don’t get tired of eating the same food. Rooms near the train tracks can be a bit noisy so ask for rooms away from tracks if you are noise sensitive. Rooms were huge compared to usual Japanese hotel room sizes. Hotel is connected to a shopping mall and nearby restaurants, about 20 minutes walking distance from Dotonbori so great spot.

The Centara Grand Hotel Osaka is a first class hotel located in the Namba Osaka district. I was thrilled when I checked in that the management had upgraded me to the 27th floor, which was a restricted area. I felt very special when using the elevator to get to my room. I must say having a corner room at that level and looking out your window, the view and scenery of Osaka is breathtaking. Overall, the room is very spacious and clean, and there are a lot of grooming amenities for you at your convenience. And that’s the reason I’ll keep coming back to The Centara Grand Hotel Osaka. You don’t have to pack too much stuff. It’s all right here!

This was a terrific hotel find in Osaka and I will make it a point to try to stay with this chain when I visit other locations where they are located (Maldives, for example). The staff was exceptionally polite and courteous and most were fluent in English. The hotel was spotless and the food options were top notch, particularly in a city with outstanding food options.
