Great value for money and an excellent location. The room was spotlessly clean, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I accidentally left my charger behind, but they kindly lent me one during my stay, and the coffee was surprisingly good too. Plus, there are convenience stores near the hotel and restaurants right nearby, so it was super convenient.

My room is on the 4th floor, there is no sound proofing so you can hear noise from other rooms and outside. The bed is not comfortable-each time you move, it makes a noise. There is no toiletries provided too. The room bathroom door makes too much noise when closing so your companion would be awaken. The hotel smells dust, it really needs cleaning. The only thing best is that there’s many restaurants around.

This hotel is not children friendly. They charge children at adult rate which is equivalent to a single room rate, they did not offer us an extra room or provide extra pillow. Furthermore, they do not clean the rooms and towels are only change every 4 days! They also charge for toothbrush and toothpastes! Very ridiculous!
This hotel mainly service tourists with tour group/guide and it is always pack every morning with luggages and people everywhere which makes it difficult to even walk out of the hotel or even check out. I STRONGLY DO NOT
recommend this hotel at all!

Staff were friendly and location is good. Amenities were pretty poor. There is a jug in the room but no complimentary tea or coffee. We stayed 5 nights and were told that we would get cleaning on a day of our choice. I went to reception in the middle of our stay to ask for cleaning the following morning. The next evening when we got back to the room, cleaning had not been done. Towels do not get changed. Bathroom had hairs on the floor and around the shower when we arrived.

Fairly priced hotel with very limited amenities. If you are hoping to have tooth brush etc in bathroom, please bring your own. For eco-friendliness, room will not be touched up daily nor sheets changed or fresh towels. Place seemed a little dirty, particularly the walls, vents, and floors…

The room is clean and cosy for single bed room. It is a super single bed which also has enough room space for 1 person. Able to have place for luggage, and packing area. Very near namba station which is convenient. Walkable to Dotonbori which is a plus point. Will not scared no food at night.

Great location, the staff were very friendly and helpful. However, our booked room wasn't available. The hotel gave us a suitable replacement that worked for us. It was on level 2 where the smoking room is located and at times it was a little smoky in the corridor. The wifi was intermittent. Overall, a satisfactory hotel. There are some great little restaurants on the back streets.

The hotel is close to quite a few attractions like the kuromon market, the video games and figurine shops. It's quite far from the metro with the blue M logo, about 10 min or 1 km walk. The photo of the bathroom is a bit misleading and the room measurement seemed inaccurate. The bathroom is quite tiny with about 60 x 50cm standing floor area, the low bathroom ceiling makes it hard to change in there if you are over 175cm, the shower curtain has mold, the wooden floor of the room is dirty, no security in the lift to tap the card to use it and only has room service if you stay over 8 days. Meaning, you need to leave your trash and dirty towels outside your room and pick up new garbage bag and towels at the lobby. No coffee in the room, it's at the lobby. Not much service here, if you are ok with self service then overall the hotel is clean, the beds and air conditioner are good, except the issues mentioned above.

Overall we enjoyed staying here. Staff were pleasant and the area was perfectly located. Easy access to all trains and buses for travel etc. When we checked in, the room was clean and tidy, (clean sheets and towels etc) but maid service only cleaned the rooms once a week, which was the main downside, particularly if you're staying there for two weeks.

This hotel is the worst hotel I stayed so far in Osaka. First of all, they don't supply toothbrushes and toothpaste, no shower cab, no hair comb, no NOTHING! You have to pay for it at the front desk if you need one. Paying for these was acceptable 20 years ago, but now is 2023!!! What the....
The next thing I hate about this hotel is the bathroom smells terrible. The gutter must have filled and stuffed with tons of hair or other disposals. The drain didn't work like it supposed to. When you wash your face, all the water that went down the sink came back up from the ground. I had an 8 minutes showers in the tub, the bathroom floor was flooded like hell.
It was a terrible experience staying in this hotel, I swear to GOD, I will never EVER stay another night at this hotel. PERIOD!!!!

Wifi doesn't work on 11/F and only work in lobby, we get offline for every 15 seconds. It's very annoying for doing business stuff. The staff can't resolve the problem, and staying for 7 days and not eligible for room cleaning is the 1st time I have ever heard after travelling for 30 years.

A good night's stay

Just a 1 night stay but a good positive experience. We booked a twin bedded room.
It was larger than our previous stays in the area. There was plenty of room for a sofa and work station. The bathroom had a sink but there was also a 2nd one in an alcove within the bedroom. We felt very comfortable. Everything was in good order and it was nice to have a wooden floor rather than carpets.
The breakfast was modest in price but had a good selection of European and Japanese foods.

Location is just 5mins walk from Nankai Namba Station. It's adjacent to Kuromon Market and Denden town so it's pretty close to everything. Hotel staff is polite and there's no problem with communication. Room is very spacious especially in Japanese standard, toilet is relatively small but cozy enough to make you feel comfortable. Luggage storage is available upon checkout and my bags were well taken care of. Overall, enjoyed the stay and would recommend to both families and couples for a nice and recent stay in Central Osaka.

Sarasa Hotel Namba is surrounded by cafes, restaurants and shops.
About 7 minutes walk to the Namba City shopping mall and Namba subway station and Nankai Airport Railway terminal.

Great location and good use of space for the single rooms. The bathroom; however, had a very dirty fan vent that would occasionally drip oil into the tub. The staff was very polite and had a free baggage holding. The room also had a smartphone that you can borrow for the duration of your stay.

I traveled with my wife and stayed at Sarasa for 5 nights before our cruise trip. The hotel was close to train stations that was quite suitable for us travelling from airport to the hotel and then from the hotel to the cruise pier at Tempozan. Good interior design of our room, clean and tidy, made our stay very comfortable..Breakfast was great with different kinds of foods to select. All staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel also provided a smart phone with free data to us during the period of our stay. We'll come back to this hotel next time when we visit Osaka again.

Great walking distance to dontonbori and kuromon market. Also near Taito Station for the kids to play at. Although no restaurant for dinner or lunch, breakfast was perfect for my two picky boys they had rice and chicken and toast for breakfast most days. It was also easy to get to from Osaka Kansai airport just take a rapit train to namba Nankai station. And the western style family room was big. Also 7/11 is close by for little things like milk and snacks.

Hotel deco looks bright and nice. we have the superior room and there's good space in there. Our friend has the western style room and its heaps bigger. The hotel front desk staff are very professional and helpful in all ways. Didn't try the breakfast so can't comment. bathrooms are small but that's common for Japanese hotels. Overall i enjoy my stay at this hotel

Good size room, great service, but smoky smell

We booked a superior twin room and were placed on the 3rd floor. The room was a good size especially compared to other hotels in the areas. Front reception staff are excellent and very helpful. Room was decent and clean, but bathroom is tiny and is all plastic (like what you would expect on an airplane or ship). On the 2nd floor, there is a \"smoking room\" for guests and as far as we could tell, it does not vent properly. We stayed 6 nights and for 5 of the 6 nights, the ENTIRE 3rd floor and, more importantly, our hotel room reaked of smoking/cigarette smell! As we are non-smokers and specifically choose a non-smoking room, we were very unhappy with this. We informed staff and I tried blocking the bottom of our doorway with towels and leaving the provided air purifier on day and night, but this did not help. The smell is especially bad in the bathroom were plugging the drains and leaving the fan on also did not help. In summary, for sure the 3rd and 4th floors both smell terrible. Do NOT stay here if you are a non-smoker. My eyes literally stung and my tummy was upset from the smell being so strong. I do not recommend this hotel.

Overall the hotel feels very nice. It is surrounded by great food and shops, and is very close to the Shotingai and Namba Nankai station.

The room is a bit small for me (196cm tall), and the hotel breakfast turned out to be 1000yen per visit which I'd rather go out for much better food at lower prices during reasonable hours.

Clean and comfortable rooms. More than one pillow per bed would make an improvement however. Good location in the Namba area with easy access to Nankai Namba train station to and from the Kansai Airport. Pleasant staff. Strict check in policy of 3pm even upon arriving earlier. Luggage can be kept in such case. Rooms are on the smaller side but well appointed, including the bathroom. Overall, a good stay and would consider again.

This is our 2nd time staying at this hotel. Hotel location is great. Close to lot of restaurants ; 5 mins walk to kuromon market; 10 mins walk to Namba Station. However, the room isn’t very clean. The floor feels very sticky....

small and unassuming hotel in a high tourist area

Sarasa Hotel Namba is located within a 6-8 minutes walk to Namba and Nipponbashi stations, which is generally near to the tourist spots in the area. Hotel reception staff are multi lingual and are generally helpful in providing assistance as well as meeting your needs.

The room (single traveler) is small even by Japanese standards, but space is maximised within the restricted space. Bed is a tad too soft and pillow is really small but room temperature is easily adjustable during the colder months. Wifi speeds are acceptable, toiletries are provided as required.

Pleasant surprise to have a mobile phone provided in the room for data usage and navigating around the city. Considering its location, Sarasa is definitely a consideration if I visit Osaka again in the future.

Very good location , near Namba station , Dotonbori. We stayed in Western Japanese room, which was the most spacious room we had for 3 adults during our Japan trip . Good option for family. Access to very reasonable laundry facilities was also very helpful. Breakfast was reasonable price but I would suggest it’s not neccesary to pay for it in advance as it becomes repetitive as we were staying 3 nights. You can always decide after checking in.

The hotel was located decently close to Namba Nankai Station. The room had markings on the walls and the floor had a bit of garbage when I arrived. The toilet sometimes makes noises continuously until you flush again later. The bathroom is also very dark especially after closing the shower curtain to shower. The room was not soundproof at all, I could hear people in the halls as well as my neighbours. I heard conversations a family had with their child who was unwilling to take a bath. It wasn't a cheap stay either.

Great location!

Location was great, and easy to find too!. Easy access to the Namba Station whether you are coming from Kansai Int'l Airport. Many subway lines available for you to get around. The room is clean and tidy. They have a mobile phone (with data connection) in the room which you can borrow and use while you move around.
