Compared to the others hotels I’ve stayed in Japan, my room was huge! It had wardrobe space (others didn’t even have a rail) and even a mini kitchen and washing machine. Unfortunately I was only there 2 nights but would have been perfect for a longer stay. The sauna and steam room were a little bonus and there was a decent gym. My room smelt a little smokey when I arrived but the receptionist was really helpful to air out the room for me and regularly checked in to make sure all was ok. Breakfast was mostly Asian-style with a few continental options. Great location, there was even a signpost for the hotel in Namba Station!

The Frasier Residence hotel has everything you\"ll need. Excellent, friendly staff. The apartment had plenty of room including a living room and full kitchen. We were able to wash our clothes in the washer/dryer combo machine located in our unit. Accommodations included daily breakfast with a variety of foods. Lastly, the location of the property was within walking distance to the train station, shopping and restaurants. Everything you could need right outside the hotel doors. I highly recommend the Frasier Residence hotel in Osaka.

The 1 bedroom was very spacious with lots of closet space. Loved having a washer/dryer and kitchen. I didn't partake in the breakfast, but bought groceries for breakfast at a nearby market. The subway station is very close and you're across the street from Namba Parks mall, which is a series of malls/restaurants. Very easy to get to Dontonbori, the kitchen street, shotengai's, the Yasaka shrine and more.

We had a wonderful stay at Fraser Residence Nankai Osaka and would recommend it.

The room was spacious and very well-equipped, with great amenities including a small kitchen, washer/dryer, and comfortable beds. It made the stay feel much more convenient and relaxing, especially for just a night or two.

The complimentary breakfast was a great bonus. It was delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from.

The location is another major highlight. It’s close to shopping areas and within easy reach of Dotonbori, making it perfect for exploring Osaka. There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby, which made dining out incredibly convenient.

Overall, this hotel offered comfort, convenience, and a great location. I would definitely stay here again.

This is our 2nd time staying at the Fraser Residence Nankai and we just love everything about it. The staff and administration are wonderful and are extremely helpful, accomodating, and kind. The general manager and all his staff value guests loyalty and repeat guests which we appreciate it very much.

The location is wonderful as it is across from the Namba station connecting to subway lines and private rail lines. Across the hotel is McDonalds and many restaurants abound. Another reason we love the location is because it is a one minute walk to the Edion arena for the Grand Sumo Tournament in March.

Breakfasts selection is varied and it is all very tasty. It is both Western and Japanese items with plenty of different side dishes, juices, ice creams, pastries, and fresh fruits. Again, the staff at the restaurant is very kind and they remember their guests from previous stays. How amazing is that!

We stayed in a one bedroom with 2 beds this year instead of the 2 bedrooms because of the price point. The room is very spacious even for the 3 of us (adults). There is even a walk in closet with lots of space for luggage and the washer/dryer in the room is so convenient. No need to go downstairs for communal washer/dryer. Because we are 3 adults, the sofa couch in the living room was made into a bed and the mattress was extremely comfortable. Our 2 twinb beds were also very comfortable airing on the firmer side which we love. We never woke up with a sore back.

The hotel and the room had all the amenities making the stay comfortable with peace of mind. Spacious rooms, washing machine, service from the hotel staff was very good, rooms were cleaned every day. The best part was the buffet breakfast which had a smorgasbord of options which were quality tasty. Would definitely stay here again. The proximity to Namba station hub and shops made things super convenient to move around.

Fraser Residence is hands-down one of the best places to stay if you want to fully enjoy Osaka! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Namba, with Namba City and Namba Parks shopping malls literally just across the street. Whether you’re craving late-night snacks, shopping sprees, or easy train access, everything is at your doorstep. The room itself made the stay even better. It’s spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed with a separate bedroom and living area, giving you that cozy “home away from home” feel. Having a washing machine and cooking stove inside the unit was a game-changer—especially for longer stays. It really feels more like a stylish serviced apartment than a hotel!

If you’re visiting Osaka and want comfort, convenience, and the ultimate Namba experience—Fraser Residence is the place to be. Can’t recommend it enough!

The hotel itself was great. The room was very comfortable and well equipped and having the washing machine in the room was a big plus on our trip. We also though that the breakfast was very good and was very convenient. We also used the kitchenette and it was nice for a change of pace.

The only thing that was a negative was that we found the area around the hotel to be very noisy in the evening and overnight, particularly the sound of revving cars and motorcycles. I don't know if this was worse because we were there on a weekend and on a lower floor, but it definitely made for a less restful sleep.

The area around the hotel is great. Everything is in walking distance.
My only problem was the washing machine. The dryer did not work, I had called the front desk and someone came to look at it. They couldn’t get it fixed either and offered to dry our clothes in their dryer. When we picked them up the next day, they were still not completely dry, but we were checking out and had to take our semi wet clothes to our next destination.
I think for the price I paid, a better effort could’ve been made.

Great hotel, friendly and attentive staff. Quick to assist with any questions. Location is great, with easy access to transit and walking to nearby neighbourhoods. Lots of great nearby eateries and convenience stores on every other block. The room is a good size, especially by Japanese standards.

The only issue was that we booked a room for 4 (2 adults and 2 kids), but the room only had 1 (king-sized) bed and 1 small sofa that converted to a bed that barely fit 1 kid. When we enquired at the front desk, they offered to either make up the sofa with sheets for 9,000 yen, or give us sheets for free. As bizarre as it seemed to have to pay extra for them to add sheets, it still didn't solve the problem of where our 2nd child was supposed to sleep. We asked them to deliver 2 sets of sheets, and we managed to create a makeshift bed on the floor. The hotel doesn't have cots or roll-away beds. It was very strange that they knew that we were travelling as a family of 4, but only provided bedding for 3 people. The next day they did offer us a 2 bedroom unit, but for a significantly higher rate than our King Executive room, and since we'd already unpacked, it didn't make much sense logistically or financially.

After we \"Macgyver-ed\" the sleeping arrangements, everything else was great. We would definitely consider this hotel again, but be prepared that their interpretation of how to sleep 4 guests might be off compared to other hotels. We had no such issues at Mimaru hotels previously.

Very convenient location in terms of being walkable distance to Dotombori and local trains/subways. My room was clean and I loved having a washing machine in my room especially in the Summer when I was always sweating so I constantly washed my clothes in between outings. The staff was great - always friendly and helpful. The only negative thing seems to be the lack of soundproofing, since I've heard banging, thumping and sometimes yelling through walls or ceiling (could be why they offer ear plugs). If I come back to Osaka I'll most likely book a room here again.

This hotel was fantastic. The location was great, a short walk from all the action in Dontonbori, close to Namba station, but far away so that it was quite still. The washer/dryer was key as it was halfway through our trip so we were able to pack light and laundry. The room size was quite large as well, and the TV had the ability to cast from your phone which is a huge plus as English speaking travellers.

We also got the breakfast while we stayed here which offered a large variety of options.

The staff were also very helpful and taught us how luggage forwarding worked when we decided to use the service to send our luggage to our next hotel.

Lastly, this hotel has a private sauna and steam room, which was something we took advantage of after days of 25-30k steps through Kyoto and Osaka.

If I am ever in Osaka again, I will definitely book this hotel.

Stayed at Fraser for three nights with my husband and 19 year old daughter. The lay out worked well for all. Spacious and our room divided into two separate spaces for privacy. Area was very walkable to Dotonbori area and to Osaka Castle. Shopping at your doorstep. Very clean and great breakfast. Would highly recommend!

I was excited to stay at this place because of all the raving reviews on how kind and lovely the staff were, but that was just not my experience. I felt that they were a bit impatient and not very accommodating. I stayed in a room that was handicap accessible which is great but should probably be reserved for those who need it. It was set up and two twin beds and we requested to be changed to a different room and we were OK with paying extra. They said that they didn’t have anything available, but when I looked back on Expedia, there were several rooms available. I just felt like the room was an eye sore and honestly out of the three different hotels we stayed at in Japan this was the most unappealing one.

It was in a great spot where you could walk anywhere or catch a cab… now I do have to say I wasn’t too excited about the coffee !!! They had none ( just in the room .most of these hotels have coffee in the lobby I guess the washer a stove top made up for it . Not that I used the stove top but the washer was great

Great customer service and friendly. Greeted by staff with every encounter. Large rooms, and bedroom separated from bathroom, living room and kitchenette were a plus. It made traveling with a toddler easier. Close by to the Namba train station so getting around Osaka was easy. The hotel is within 5 min from shopping, markets, and great food. Awesome location. Very corporate, but well situated with everything from Dotonbori to the train and metro station at a walkable distance. The only major issue is the mattresses that are way too hard, making it uncomfortable to have a good night sleep.

On the last day, we made an early checkout but requested to leave our bags at the front. We returned with a few breakfast items and requested to sit in a table and to borrow utensils to enjoy our breakfast; unfortunately, they made it very difficult to provide access to a table and we didn’t get a fork and knife so we can eat a quick breakfast.

The best place to stay in Osaka!

I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times and every time has been wonderful. The service is excellent. Whenever I send luggage before my stay, it is always waiting for me in my room when I arrive.

The staff are all so friendly, welcoming, and professional, especially Janak who helped me check in and Eiko and Shankar who helped me forward my luggage.

I was happy that a few staff members even remembered me from my previous visits.

The location is perfect. Namba station is very close to the hotel, so it’s a great base for exploring Osaka and for day trips. There’s plenty of shopping and dining options nearby.
The washer/dryer in the room is so convenient. I love the music it plays when a cycle is done!

The pyjamas are comfortable. I like that they are a shirt and pants instead of the long, awkward nightgown that some hotels provide. I enjoyed having a smart TV in the room for YouTube.
