Location is great but rooms are too small. You literally have to do the sideways shuffle to get around your standard room meant for two in this hotel. I stayed alone so was able to shuffle around but my two sisters, who were meant to share a room, couldn’t because there was no please for two people to stand, let alone have their luggage. They had to pay more for an upgraded room.

Absolutely amazing hotel! The hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful with any questions! They helped us ship our luggage to our next destination.
The rooms are a decent size compared to most small rooms in Japan. The location is amazing! 6 minute walk to Dotonbori

A short walk to Namba station and within easy walking distance to Amerikamura and Dotomburi, this hotel is conveniently located. We were greeted at the front desk by a friendly staff member who helped walk us through the check in process. Our room was a compact but thoroughly efficient and spotlessly clean. The hotel breakfast had a lot of variety with many hot and freshly prepared dishes. We would 100% stay here again.

Room was clean. AC was strong. English speaking staff that was very helpful with our luggage transfer and check in/out. One star loss for location to station and elevators. Walk is maybe 10 mins. But elevator and layout of hotel is not ideal. Two elevators, one very narrow and not ideal with luggage’s. Lobby is on the 2nd floor. Many times we had to wait for another elevator and/or it was very congested.

The room was very clean, big, and comfortable! They also provide you different bins to dispose of trash and recyclables. The bathroom was huge and also very clean! Breakfast was really good with lots of options. The staff were always so kind and helpful! Very good location too! It’s within a 10 min walk to Dotonbori and there is also a train station right outside the hotel.

This is a great hotel for those looking to explore Osaka. It's close to the train system and walk able to Dontonbori and other attractions. The rooms are smaller but they are reasonably priced and well maintained.

This place is terrible. The worst property I have been to in Japan.

Check in was slow, for some reason we have to do the work to check in even though we don't work there. Having the guest do the labor is disturbingly common in Japan, not a fan and I avoid properties that insist on this role reversal. Only nice part was they allowed us to store a few bags in the lobby prior to checking in.

The elevator is SLOW. Two elevators for 12 floors means tons of traffic.

Room is tiny, even by Japan or Hong Kong standards. No walking room after we loaded our 4 rollerbags for our return flight. Bed was chiseled from granite. Daily housekeeping available.

Location is decent - there is a subway exit right across the front the hotel (#32), but you're still a long way from Namba Station proper. Walking distance to Dontobori, which is nice and action packed all the way to the river. A few restaurants around the hotel itself, none were appealing to us.

Zero (usable) amenities on property. Don't bother with breakfast, it's prison-cafeteria level. You can do way better at McDonald's for ¥1400. Don't bother with the laundry - only 2 very small, expensive machines that seemed to take hours to dry. Go up the street 100m to a vastly superior and less expensive 24hr laundromat.

Guest does the employee's work at checkout too. Lovely.

Best part of our stay was walking out the door for the last time ever. I'll never stay at a Gracery property again.

The check in is not efficient. First start with a staff, than go to a super slow machine. If you have a staff there why waste time with a machine?

The hotel itself is dirty starting from the front desk to the room. The room are quite small and the carpet are dirty and the smell coming from the bathroom are bad. All you can smell when you go the bathroom is “Urine”. I would not recommend that hotel to any of my family or friends.

Although this is an older hotel, it was well maintained and the rooms were well appointed. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Fresh, delicious coffee and personal care items were available in the lobby. The Metro entrance is across the street and the main Osaka Namba station is just three blocks away where you can catch a taxi, bus or train. The breakfast was good and convenient. The only drawback.. no dresser or drawers for clothing if staying more than one night.

I stayed at the property for 4 nights with my husband and 2 kids. Initially, when we arrived, we were only provided with two towels, two glasses, and two mugs. I asked reception for two more, but when the housekeepers cleaned the room the next day, they only left two towels again. After speaking to reception once more, they finally provided the correct number of towels.

On the positive side, the location is great close to restaurants and public transport. The rooms are clean and well maintained, although I did find them a little dusty.

Friendly and helpful staff. Close to Namba station. Decent selection in the breakfast buffet and reasonably priced. Clean and modern rooms and bathrooms. Bed was a bit firm for my liking but I was still able to sleep without any discomfort. Overall I would stay here again.

The location of the Hotel is good as it’s close to a food street. However, when we checked in on the first day of our arrival, we were not able to park at the hotel and needed to look around for a carpark. And then on the second and the third day after we came back after golfing, we were not able to park the car at the hotel. It’s very disappointing.

We stayed for one night, a quick stop off before we flew home. We booked a cheap room for two people. You wouldn't have been able to swing a cat. There was no window. The bed was comfy enough.
When we went to check out, the lifts were very busy, and we had to wait at least 3 times because the lift was full. There is no stairs either.

For the price there’s better hotels in the area. The hotel is dated, older, shows the wear and tear, tiny rooms. They’ll charge you to check in even a few minutes before check in time if you want your room early even when your room is ready. Bed and pillows are not comfortable. Definitely not worth the price per night. Location is good.

Make the right choice with Gracery

Location of hotel is-so convenient to Dotonbori n train stations. Walk across the road to convenience store. Japanese buffet breakfast was amazing n they even provide face mask n bath salt. I read date wrongly n missed Sakura competition for chopstick set. We stayed for 4 nights but wasn’t ask to join Gracery Club as our next hotel in Tokyo is also part of Gracery group. Checkout is easy-machine. When we are next back in Japan we will consider Gracery

Great hotel walking distance to namba station, dotombori street, kuromon market etc. In the middle of the action. The hotel also had a Luup station in the garage for electric scooters - very practical.
Great bathroom, compact room - enjoyable breakfast! Good supply of ameneties, payamas etc. Would highly recommend and stay again!

I didn’t think this hotel was a 4 star hotel. Check-in and check-out was fully automated and only had self-cloak instead of being able to store luggage in a secure place right after check out. This was the only place I’ve ever stayed at that you had to feed the machine the keycards upon checkout, which was actually slower than the places where I would check out at the front desk. The room itself was pretty nice - had a big bathroom and the room was clean, decorated nicely. Amenities and services were only comparable to those with 3 stars. The location is pretty good, very close to the station, only a short walk outside.

Super convenient location. Staff are very helpful and can help place reservations for restaurants. Toothbrush, towels, and bathrobes are replaced daily. Rooms are cleaned and bedsheets changed every three days. Free water bottles offered daily. Great amenities and travel guides offered on 2nd floor.
