It is very close to Namba Station but in a quieter area so that was nice. The station is huge so it took a while to get oriented and there are closer exits to the hotel tan Google Maps suggests.
Plenty of convenience stores nearby and it took a local to help us find a close by supermarket. Search for Central Life Square or take exit 30 and you’ll be right there.

The hotel Itself was fine and the rooms are larger than in Tokyo.

The hotel decor is beautiful, modern, sleek, with dramatic lighting on the guest floors. The room was spacious. We opted for 2 twin beds, which were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean with excellent water pressure in the shower. The breakfast was really excellent, with a great selection of traditional American breakfast items as well as customary Japanese breakfast items. The hotel is barely 4 minutes’ walk from the Namba station on the Midosuji line, making it very easy to navigate the city. We loved the hotel and would highly recommend it.

Location is great, just a short walk to Nankai-Namba station/Takashimaya. Room was spotless. Staff is super friendly and some of them also speak English.

One thing that surprised me was the handling of my luggage - arrived in the morning, deposited my luggage at the hotel, went to Dotonbori for lunch, shop around, came back to check-in after 3pm and the staff told me they have moved my luggage into my room!

Clean room, a bit small but the bed can move sideways to allow entry from the other side.

Conveniently close to Namba station, Kuromon market and Dotunburi. Namba station connects to the Red train line to Osaka station. If one is using Shinkansen, will need to take another train line to Shin-Osaka station.

Embora fosse fácil de aspirar embaixo da cama, o chão estava bem sujo e o papel higiênico estava com o rolo menos da metade no check-in. The staff was amazing, and the room was spotless. I alsa had the chance to see the maintenance crew changing the air filters in the rooms which made me feel more comfortable. Also I had the chance to use the laundry room and it was very convenient.

駅や空港バス停へのアクセスがとても良い場所にあります。

地下鉄や駅へのアクセスが非常によく便利でした。今回宿泊した部屋はコンパクトで書類等を広げるテーブルがなかったのが残念でしたが、快適でした。夜他の部屋から大きな話し声がずっと聞こえていたのが気になりました。

11階のツインルーム。
遅くのチェックインにも対応してもらえ、良かったです。部屋のベッドは十分大きくて寝るにはとても良かったのですが、スーツケース2つを広げて荷物を整理するスペースがなかったのは残念でした。
スーツケースをベッドの上に乗せて広げるのは憚られますから。一つはソファに広げられたのですがね。
朝食も美味しく頂きましたし、チェックアウトもスムーズでしたので、スペースだけが少し残念でした。

Coming to Japan is a waste.

Overtourism is destroying the world. Low Class Chinese, Europeaners and Americans flood our once great Japanese Streets. Traveling in Japan is pointless, you are a moron if you are spending your money on this experience. Japans government has betrayed its people and heritage. Those of you coming now are seeing a Disney land version of once Japan was. Its ruined.

The hotel is right in the middle of Namba almost next to the station. It is very clean, amenities were good, and staff was friendly. Breakfast was pretty good (nothing to rave about though). It is in the walkable distance major areas including Dotombori,Shinsaibashi,Kuromon market, and Denden town. A lot of must go restaurants such as Chibo Okonomiyaki, Ichiran Ramen, etc. Also Takashimaya Department store is right next to the hotel and there are tons of quick eateries there along with some other restaurants just outside. I'll probably stay here againif we made trip to Osaka again.

The room itself was great: clean, well appointed, etc. The location was also great: super convenient and walkable to subway and trains, yet not on a busy street. The main disappointment was no tea or coffee in the room, causing me to go around the corner to get coffee every morning. For a few cents a day, that seems like a false economy.

Room was quite decent for 2Adults and 1 child, given that this is Namba area. There is access to lounge and welcome drinks at lobby. Opted to pay extra for the breakfast but actually the menu is very limited and repeated if you are staying more than 1 night. Need to exit from Exit 6 if you came by train. There is a need to pay for city tax at check in. It is ¥100/pax/night.

The Grids hotel is well located being close to Namba station as well as numerous restaurants and the shopping district. Our room was not particularly large but was big enough and we had everything that we needed. The breakfast is the outstanding feature of this hotel and the reason why I would definitely book here again.

I wasn't very happy about the checkin person who gave trouble while checking in. We were 2 adults and 3 kids all less than 11. I had booked the largest room available that would sleep 6 people. She initially told that she would not check us in but later agreed as if she was doing us a favor. We did pay for the extra breakfast of a child and did not ask for any extra beds. I don’t think they should be wearing a mask all the time. It’s difficult to have a face to face conversation.

Great location with easy access from the airport and to other parts of Osaka and also if you are going to the Expo.
Note that the room is only cleaned every third day which I have no issue with. But even then, housekeeping isn’t very thorough. Still got stray hair and the used tea bags are not cleared, maybe we got a super busy housekeeper that forgot.
Towels are changed daily which is good.
Breakfast spread is wide but it is the exact selection everyday.

We really enjoyed staying here. The dotonburi was within a walkable distance. The limousine bus to and from the airport was just around the corner and saved us a lot of money when we arrived from a long international flight. It was easy to do day trips to Nara and Kyoto as there were alot of stations around the hotel.

We also generally loved the Namba area because it’s central in Osaka and felt very safe, not too busy and there were alot of convenient stores nearby for a quick breakfast.

The hotel also provided pyjamas (to borrow for your stay) and amenities such as toothbrush and hair brush, bath salts, lotions and hair ties etc. I’d still byo toothbrush as the one provided was good for one day.

The luggage service was great and we used that to send our luggage from Osaka to our next hotel in Tokyo. We sent our luggage 1 day prior to travel and it was at our hotel by the time we arrived.

The staff were helpful and let us borrow umbrellas when it was raining. They also provide full room cleaning services once every 3 days but that did not bother us as towels were replaced everyday.

Even thought the hotel was in Namba, we weren’t bothered by any street noises at all.

Thanks for the lovely stay! I’d stay here again.

Grids is so close to everything in the NAMBA area. It felt like all we had to do was step outside and walk a few blocks and we were at Dotonbori, or the Lion Head Shrine or anything we wanted to see really. The room was very small but that’s expected in Japan. We had three people but the rooms are really only made for two people and that just convert a window seat into a bed.

The breakfast here was terrible in my opinion. Burnt coffee to start with. They have an espresso machine that they refuse to make you coffees with. The selection was no great. They serve tamago but it’s just unseasoned scrambled eggs. When we arrived for a 9am breakfast, it felt like all then food options were empty so we paid full price for half a selection of food.

Stay here for the convenience but skip breakfast for sure.

Very easy access to Namba station, with plenty of underground shopping and dining options and walkable to Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi. We enjoyed our stay here, the hotel is new. The receptionist helped me with finding a clinic for my family member who fell ill during our trip. She was really commendable. The hotel staff are all friendly. Our family room size was good enough for our family of 2 adults and 2 teens, the kids enjoyed the bunk beds. Would stay here again if visiting Osaka

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was a little bit confusing to find at first just because it is sort of in a back alley, but Google was extremely helpful. The rooms were definitely big enough for two people with smaller size bags. It may be difficult for some people who like to bring multiple or extremely large bags but I really enjoyed my stay here.

The hotel was easily accessible due to the nearby subway station, and it's central to most of the attractions, including the popular Dotonbori Street. At night, it's really quiet and there were konbinis nearby as well. Definitely an excellent stay.

I would say for something that is near the subway is convenient.The luggage service was easy to use and the front desk speak English. This place is good for one day stay, I would not stay longer for the price it costed. If you plan to use laundry unit here don’t because it will not dry your clothes. I wasted 200 yen for 1hr of soggy clothes and my clothes smelled terrible. The bathroom smelled like BO my entire stay. Otherwise, they were really nice in accommodations for their amenities and services.

The hotel is located near Namba station making it very convenient. The room is clean and sufficiently spacious - most hotel in Japan are small - for my family of four. The toilet is clean and the shower is strong. They have a coffee machine at the lobby. No water dispenser but can buy mineral water easily from Family Mart that is just around the corner. There is also a drug store beside the hotel.

The hotel supports Yamato and sending your luggage another hotel will is very convenient.
