Property is located in an alley of Ebisubashi Shotengai. I found it easily, located right in center of shopping and easy access to the Midosuji line platform from and entrance literally around the corner. Rooms are small, good for one or two for a quick stay. The sent upstairs made our evening after 30hrs of travel.

Avoid this hotel at all costs. My room was filthy, with yellow grime on the walls, a weird smell, and mold in the shower. The front desk was very apologetic when I brought up these concerns and that was very appreciated and they offered to upgrade me for the night. While the upgrade was still dirty, I chose to stay since it was already late at night. I woke up the next morning with bites all over my legs. I couldn’t get out of there faster. Luckily, I was able to get refunded for the remainder of my trip.

The hotel is very basic. It is on one one of the shopping allies in the heart of Namba area, very close to the train station but you don't hear the noise in the hotel room. The staff is kind, professional, and makes every best effort to communicate in different language (English) but they do face challenges. However, with google translate you can get around this issue. The room was very small but clean. The hotel is very basic. They have an interesting culture of keeping all the toiletries around the front desk instead of providing them in each room, and the guests decided which ones they need and take them upon checking in.

This hotel needs a lot of work. The rooms are dirty, with stains on the walls and in the bathroom. The staff was rude at check in, and charged a ¥1000 “onsen tax”. When we said that we weren’t planning to use the onsen they claimed all the water in the showers was hot spring water and so we had to pay.
The room was small, but sort of standard for budget hotels, and the mattress was very uncomfortable.
Proximity to Dotombori was great and Namba wall was surfer convenient - if you’re there for a party, it’s a good crash pad if you don’t mind the stains.

Room was large for 2 of us but could sleep 4. Had couch and desk plus makeup area outside bathroom. Beautiful large bathroom and had Japanese-style shower next to tub. Unfortunately we had only 1 night there and we used onsen. Onsen was nice, not crowded and water was hot. Small hotel, only 10 floors, maybe around 15 rooms per floor. Staff was friendly, helpful in sending luggage to airport. Convenient loocation, just few steps to subway station, and nice simple directions from staff. Lots of shopping places and eating places.

Location is great and ideal for those who like to shop around Dotonbori.
It is next to Namba station and has elevator access via Exit 1.
Daily towels replacement, coin laundry/dryer. Vending machine for drinks at reasonable price. Recommended for thos e with a budget.

장점은 위치가 아주 좋다는것. 난바역 11번 출구 바로 앞입니다. 이 부분은 그냥 짱입니다. 호텔 내려오면 도톤보리 먹거리 널렸고 너무 편합니다. 단점은 일단 시설이 너무 낡아서 무슨 90년대 응답하라 찍는줄. 무료 사우나도 있는데 그냥 낡았지만 제가 민감한 편이 아니라 사용 잘 했습니다. 전체적으로 아주 낡고 시설은 별로입니다만 청결도는 나쁘지 않습니다

This room is the perfect choice for solo travelers. Spacious room, hygiene is good and the hot spring is great.
The location of the hotel is very convenient, close to Namba metro station and 10 minutes walk away from Doutonbori.
The pillow is hard, it takes one night or two to get used to.

The hotel is 5 star in terms of location, right off of dotonbori street in Namba. Absolutely loved the location.
As for cleanliness/comfort…there were literally stains all over the wall and dust everywhere. It was visibly dirty to the naked eye which was not comforting. The bed was also very uncomfortable and it was difficult to sleep, and was quite small for 2 people (and I loved sleeping on a cot on the floor at a transitional ryokan…I’m not picky and tend to sleep like a log.)
The onsen was nothing impressive. Small, crowded, also didn’t feel the most clean. Would’ve rather stayed at an APA hotel.

The Onsen bath is superb!!! 5 mins. walk to Fuji Q theme park. 10 mins walk to grocery store. 5 mins walk to Train station and bus station. The hotel it self offers breakfast buffet & dinner buffet. Breakfast buffet is good, especially their French toast is super good, I haven’t seen in any other restaurants. We have the view of Mt. Fuji from our room. It is super cool.

It is a standard japanese hotel very conveniently located and with a charming staff. However, the main reason for my recommendation is for those wishing for a natural spring water onsen and (for men only) a sauna in the middle of Osaka's most lively neighborhood.

Fantastic location in central Osaka. Staff were great and helped us send our bags and check-in was very easy. Our room was huge (we didn't book a big room) and facilities were good. Hot-spring water was available for the in-room bath which was great as we couldn't use the two onsens due to our tattoos.

Midosuji Hotel is located very close to Namba Station (i.e. Airport Express) & located in the middle of the main shopping area! Other than the furnishings are slightly worn, the rests are all good & clean (including of the public hot spring )

The location of the hotel was ideal, in a busy area and close to the shopping area and Kuromon market. The hotel was clean, and the room was very spacious.
The only downside is that this was easily the worst bed I have ever slept on in my entire life. We didn’t get much sleep because the mattress felt like we were sleeping on the floor.

Great Location and Price - Dotonbori!!

I was in Osaka for some site seeing and found this on hotels.com. Great location! Right next to Dotonbori with tons of food, drink, and shopping options. I dropped off my bag and went out for several hours. The staff was great but didn't speak much English. My limited Japanese got me what I wanted...well, that combined with pantomiming. The room was clean but small (usual Japanese standards). The bed and pillows were too firm (usual Japanese standard).

Two nights in the hotel, staff was very accommodating when asked for anything; including extra towels and robes....which I love!

Comfort aside - all Japanese hotels are this way - the location and staff were good for the price. Definitely recommend.

This property is conveniently located to Nankai Namba Station in Osaka. There are a lot of shops, restaurants and bars nearby. The hotel has a 24-hour reception. It also has hot spring baths. It is a good place to stay for a night if you are passing through Osaka.

It is in the heart of the Namba walking street. Just a step out from the hotel door and you will be greeted with row of foods and shops. Using exit 1 is nearest to hotel. I requested a paid upgrade to twin bed room which was really good and spacious. Hotel staff limited in English speaking but very helpful and trying their best.
Do note that there is a compulsory hot bath tax of ¥150 per person per day stay at this hotel even if you don’t use that mention facility. Will want to thanks the staff for making effort in making all every guest happy.

The hotel’s location is exactly next to 0101, and exit 11 of Osaka metro, opposite to the airport train station. It is very convenient for those who plan to travel around.
Onsen ar hotel at 3/f and rooftop open early morning and evening till midnight. You will ask to pay for the onsen tax ¥150 per person each night (no matter you use or not).

The rooms were clean and just right for us.
Toilet had rust stains and no body wash the first night we checked in.
Our window was blocked by a wall. Would have been nice to be able to see outside.
Enjoyed the onsen. We had the breakfast but most items were fried and cold. No WiFi in the rooms which was disappointing. WiFi was only in the lobby.
Besides all of that, it was centralized. Close to shops, restaurants and train station.

overall okay.

the service i amazing, however there was a miscommunication. they give 2 free bottles of mineral water if you dont ask for room cleaning service everyday, so they will hang the essentials and replacement towels at your door. but, it was not communicated to me correctly, maybe because of the language barrier that was present. they only told me that they will place 2 bottles of mineral water in my room everyday.
the room is clean, but it was super warm at night and they only had heater available. they recommended to open up the window but my room is facing an alley which is a smoking corner for people. and my room being on the 2nd level makes it worse. plus, the restaurants opposite the hotel is constantly ventilating their kitchen smoke out of the restaurant.

the bed was really small, they called it a semi-double bed but it is just a super single bed. TV channel was limited to only Japanese channels. There is no wifi in the room, only available in the lobby.

A little hotel right next to a few Train/Subway Lines and Shopping Streets. Room is pretty small, but that is normal for most of Japanese Hotel/Air BNB, OK for 2 adults or a small family (2 adults plus 1 child). Staff are friendly, but a little hard to communicate with them in English. Hot Bath (Onsen) is a plus for this hotel.

Nice budget hotel

The hotel is close to osaka station but it may be hard to locate the first time round as the entrance is in an alley. I have uploaded some photos to navigate to the hotel entrance after crossing the road outside osaka station (Takashimaya side). The hotel reception staff were friendly and obliging. Great shopping and restaurants are just steps away. The room size is adequate but some may find it small. Some rooms do not have a view but it is not a deal breaker to me.

It is great hotel. The location is perfect to reach everywhere.

Hotel is a little difficult to find . We always get lost when going to hotel.. but the truth is because... it's just there!
It's very close to shops and restaurants and dotonbori area and Namba station.

Room is small, no cabinet to store your things... no wifi in the room. Other than this, service is good. Staff will help you if you have queries how to get somewhere.

Our stay was comfortable.

hotel room was clean. good location in the heart of restaurant bar areas. but some drunkers wondering around. also bare in mind that this Hotel has NO in room WIFI. which to me is an absolute turn off. It tells me the hotel management doesn't really care or cheap to invest in WIFI whch is a standard feature in hotels in developed countries in 2018. even capsule hotels have WIFI.

The location is very close to Namba Station, famous Kuromon market, Dontonori shopping district, and NanKai station to KIX airport. The staff are very friendly. The rooms with two twin size beds seems just got remodeled with good design. It is very clean and comfortable. I had stayed in hotels in Dontobori area before, but it was quite a hassle to drag the luggage all the way to NanKai on the last day. This one is just cross the street!! If I am visiting Osaka again, this hotel definitely would be my first choice!
