The good: Clean room. Nice friendly English speaking staffs. Nice facilities. Nice and quiet AC. Provide daily refill drinking water. Guest discount on breakfast price. Very convenient and safe area. Allow late checkout. Pubic naked bath (didn't dare to use 😀) for multiplereasons.


Can be improved: Our king bedroom doesn't have enough space for laying flat two large suitcases. Breakfast can be better for the price.

I stayed 9 nights and would come back.

One of the nicest designed hotel rooms stayed at. Is a good room size for a Japanese hotel. Was well located and excellent breakfast. Only slight downside is that hotel caters for a lot of tour groups (didn't bother us but you may have an occasional crowded breakfast or reception area).

It was a fun experience in Osaka and we made a great decision in staying in Fairfield Marriott! The room we had was small but efficiently designed. The property is nice and easy to find. The inside of the property was clean and I didn’t feel crowded. Appreciated the washer and dryer, it didn’t take hours for a wash/dry load to complete.

I was disappointed that I was not notified that shuttle services to airport was available at check-in, 48 hours notification required. I stayed three nights and asked on the second night, so missed the 48 hours requirement.

I chose to stay here for the novelty as a frequent visitor to fairfield locations in the states. The whole facility is new so it's all in great shape, but I wasn't a fan of the layout of the room. The shower, toilet, and sink are all in separate areas which close off from the bed area with a sliding door. While it all works, it just feels awkward. The bathroom mirror being offset from the sink by a foot was also really annoying

This is the second time I stayed here after returning from Kyoto. The hotel is new and clean overall, but there are dusty corners (like the box at the bedside for you to put your accessories, as well as the outer shell of the tissue box). In the room I stayed, the shower head didn't work well and fell apart during my shower...

What I like most is they provide alcohol wipes and pyjamas.

This area is about 10 minutes walk away to getting on the Namba stations. If you like peaceful hotel away from the crowd, this is a good place to be at. The convenience store is about 3~5 min walk away. It is within walking distance of at least two Dontonburi stores too. The property wise, can be improved. The towels were wore out while clean. Someone mentioned in the google review on bed bugs. We were fortunate that our 2 rooms given, were clean. I wished the hotel staff can go beyond their service. I asked for hands free travel where i wanted my two medium sized lugggages to be delivered to airport. Information provide on day 1 and day 2 by the service staff were different. Because of that, we missed using the luggage delivery service and had to find alternatives to bring our luggages with us to Nankai Namba station. Thank goodness, Nankai express line to airport is not as strict as JR’s line where you need to make reservations to store your medium sized luggage on the train.

Overall not bad experience. The staff are nice and helpful. But I’ve noticed the attention to detail from a big hotel chain compared to the smaller/ boutique hotels. The Marriott wasn’t as clean as the others we’ve stayed at in Japan. I saw black stuff under the sink and the shower wasn’t as clean. They didn’t take away our empty bottles for some reason. But checking in and out the front staff were accommodating, quick to help and friendly.

What we liked the most about this hotel is that the room was very comfortable and big in Japanese standards. The decor and amenities are modern and nice. Breakfast was okay but not very expensive. Lobby was spacious but somehow it seems to be always crowded with people and packed with luggage, making it a little chaotic at times. A bit of walk to stations.

If I had to suggest an improvement for Fairfield, it would be this: When a guest is staying multiple segments and leaves their luggage with the hotel, the staff should proactively bring the luggage to the guest's room, rather than waiting for the guest to arrive late and have to carry it themselves. Even the boutique hotel I stayed at on this trip demonstrated this thoughtful level of service for their guests.

Great place, one of the best hotels during my trip with a pretty big amount of space. It’s about a 15 min walk to most popular places! Only issue with the place that there are only 2 washing and drying machines shared for the entire hotel and had to constantly ask staff to take other people’s clothing as some do not come right away to pick up their clothes. Pros: Walking distance to Namba Stn and Dotonbori. 30min train to USJ. Clean. Bigger rooms for Japanese standards.

Cons: No breakfast included. Only 2 washer dryers for such a large hotel. Long wait to use the laundry machines. No vending machine on site. But convenience stores are close by.
