All the staff were super nice and helpful - the check-in and out processes were very smooth, and the hotel is located in a very convenient area. It is less than 10 minutes' walk from the closest station, and several convenience stores are nearby. It doesn't take too long by foot to get to Namba Walk and Dotonbori area, so if you are willing to walk, you will save transportation fees. The room was very clean and spacious, but it was a bit dry since it was the Winter season. I would love to stay here again!

This hotel is just far enough from shopping and eating areas to be relatively quiet, but close enough that running out at night is easy and quick to get to a more exciting area. Rooms are spacious, with a kitchenette and small desk for getting ready. Great location and solid amenities. Included breakfast is simple but gets the job done.

Walking distance to Namba. Pleasant Stay.

The hotel is within 10 minutes easy walk to Namba Ebisubashi shopping street which links all the way to Dotonbori & Shinsaibashisuji shopping area. Although daikokucho is the nearest subway station, most of the time I don’t have to take the subway at all.. v convenient to walk to Namba instead to do my shopping. Staff is friendly. They allowed me to check in early when i arrived at 11+, and kept my luggage for 3 days when i backpacked to other cities before coming back to stay in the hotel again. Room is clean, and spacious. It’s actually the biggest single room i’ve ever stayed in. Bed was more like a queen/double sized bed. Lots of food ard the area and a supermarket a street behind is a plus. I will definitely consider staying here again if i come to osaka.

A valuable & comfortable hotel

It's quite a distance to walk to Shinsai Bashi (心斎橋) & Dōtonbor (道頓堀) but it nears the Daikokucho subway station (大国町駅).
There's a supermarket on the way to hotel from the subway station which opens until 1am and a Family Mart just on the intersection. Very convenient.
All the staff I met are nice, polite and helpful. All of them can communicate with English very well.
The room I stayed was spacious although it's a bit old style however the condition was very good and it's cleanliness. I like the radio broadcast facility, the sound was good. It provided a very stable Wifi service as well.
Coffee/tea and bread provides in the morning. Not excellent but well.
Value for money!

Great location great price!

Stayed one night to look around and eat yummy Osaka food. Great location walking distance to all the main shopping areas/sights eg Nanba and Tennoji. Beware the crazy shopping tourists they will trample you down both physically and verbally! My wife is Japanese and requested a quiet room on the highest floor available. I was given a very nice corner room on the 9th floor. The bed was like a large double, very comfortable with nice linen. The room was large for a Japanese business level hotel and even had a hot late of you wanted to whip up some amazing culinary masterpiece like 2-min noodles. I went to Nara the next day and the professional and kind staff allowed me to leave my luggage there and collect it later in the day. It's near the Nanba-Kintetsu station which is the cheapest and most direct line to Nara. To get to the hotel from the ShinOsaka Shinkansen station take the train to Daikokucho Station. It's an easy 750 meters or so from there to the hotel. The breakfast was excellent given how little I paid with good coffee (drip and sachet types) orang juice three different types of pastries and toast. Enough to see you through to lunch. Highly recommended (note like any hotel in Nanba I would suggest asking for a quiet room hopefully not next to the crazy shopping types!).

Cheap and don't expect too much!

The staffs were very friendly and helpful, good service. However the hotel facility was quite old. a bit disappointing. The room was clean but smell of old cigarette even though we booked a non-smoking room. I suppose in the past it was a smoking room.

There was no central ventilation, so we had to open the window as it was a bit stuffy but then it was cold!
The bed and pillows were a bit uncomfortable

To be fair, I just stayed for one night and the next day I was going to Matsuyama by JR. The hotel is OK, afterall, quite clean and within walking distance to the Namba Shopping Complex (there is a tourist info centre, lots of restaurants, shops...etc, you won't possibly miss it) there is a LIFE supermarket near Nissin Namba Inn, free breakfast is provided, so... what else can you ask for?

The location is just right for a first timer to Osaka. Close to the subways, supermarkets and many restaurants nearby, walking distance to the Namba City where we went to see the Christmas illumination at night. Touristy places like Shinsaibashi or Dotonbori are also within walking distance.
The breakfast served was very basic but just nice for us. Room is clean and the toilet/shower room is big for Japanese standard. The staff quickly gave the room next door to us when the original room key was not working very well. Good wifi too.

My boyfriend was sick in the first night. Staff was so nice to provide thermometer and medicine for him. really warm services. Cooking equipment is good and we cook beef there. The exhaust fan run proper. there is no unpleasant smell after cooking. We will surely recommend this hotel to our friend and stay there too in our next OSAKA trip. Thanks staff!

We didn't realise how close it was to the bigger areas of Namba and the market district as the hotel didn't have any maps in English we could understand. After getting a map from Osaka station, we realised we weren't as far out as we thought...

Nissin Namba Inn: Spacious by Japanese standards

Booked a semi double and the room was big with a real cupboard and microwave/ sink facilities too. Bathroom an exact copy of all other japanese 3 star hotels
Getting to the hotel is by the blue subway line (Linked to two other subways) exit no 32? Its the biggest exit no. Straight walk down for 12 minutes. Its 3 properties on the left of a right turn. No english name on the building, just huge red japanese characters on the top of the 11 storey building.
Continential breakfast included on all room rates!
Worth another stay. Quiet property 15 minutes away from the action.

Hotel is located in a very good location. Within 10 mins walk , will be able to find supermarket such as AEON, TAMADE and LIFE. Lots of foods available at that area. Also, within 15 mins walk, you will be able to reach namba park shopping mall. Friendly staff and serve free breakfast . Price is good but the room is slightly small but still acceptable. Room include microwave, fridge, stove. Will recommend people with budget to stay at this hotel .

To hotel is situated close to Namba station, not so far away from a main road. Which was the reason I found it very noisy (basically I had problems with sleeping because of the street noise). Otherwise the location was good, close to subway and rail stations and the business of the Namba area. The room was quite big, the breakfast was basics. Overall the hotel was good despite the outdated look.

Excellent value for money, especially free buffet style breakfast and wifi. Room very clean and serviced daily. Room includes tv, fridge, kitchenette and ensuite with all toiletries. Relatively short walk to subway, with convenience stores and supermarket nearby, some decent casual restaurants too. Minor grumbles, mattress not the greatest, staff a mixed bag although some very friendly.

Compared to other hotels that I was in on my stay in Japan, the room I had was bigger than others in this price range. It also included a few things that I didn't even expect. Such as a heated mirror in the bathroom, a kitchen and in room wifi (a big plus)

A short walk to Namba station (7-10 mins) was also convenient.

A good hotel if you are looking for value for your dollar.

Fit our needs perfectly

The Nissin Namba Inn was a fantastic hotel. It not only provided excellent customer service but the hotel met all our needs: free continental breakfast (different breads and coffee), great location, great price, comfortable beds, and a friendly staff that was eager to help us with whatever they could. We did not spend a lot of time within the hotel itself as we were sightseeing each day, so when it came to our needs, we just wanted to come back each evening to a clean, cool room. We will return to Nissin Namba Inn if we are ever in Osaka again.

This hotel is a nice place to stay on a budget. The rooms are comfortable and the kitchenette helped in saving a little expense on food. We stayed for about a week and found the location to be ideal to visiting many attractions within Osaka and to visiting other locations in Japan using our JR Railpasses. it is a 10-15 minute walk to the Namba station and the nightlife that is located in that area. It is also close to the JR line that loops around the city.

Great hotel while staying in Osaka. Front desk spoke enough English during my stay to supplement my limited Japanese. Free continental breakfast provided was nice but limited. Room was typical for Japan business hotel with in-room music and TV, good bathroom/shower with usual amenities. Room had a fridge and hotplate in kichenette area. There's a neat little bar-restaurant next door called Flash Back that is terrific, and there is a Family Mart convenience store across the street. Only disadvantage was location. The hotel is away from the action of Umeda/Osaka/Amerikamura. It is exactly halfway between Namba and Daikokucho subway stations so you need to expect a bit of walking everyday, but I would definitely stay there again despite this.

The hotel was clean and good. Take the Daikokucho metro station (exit 2), head left, and a couple blocks later make another left. The hotel is right there. I stayed there because of the sumo tournament going on close by. It's clean and the room has a kitchen, so that's cool.

Nice hotel just 10 minute walk from the main subway and train station to/from airport. Clean typically sized room for Japan business hotel. Our room had a kitchenette which came in handy. We even had a descent view. Everything was clean and the bathroom/shower had plenty of hot water. Friendly helpful staff gave us good tips on nearby attractions and even let us borrow an umbrella during a rainy day. There is a grocery store 1 block behind the hotel. We plan on using this hotel for our next visit to Osaka.

I couldn't sleep at all.

아주 친절하게 맞아주셨고 10층 고층 방으로 준비해주어 감사했습니다. 시설은 굉장히 오래됐지만 깨끗하게 관리하는 노력도 보였습니다. 오래돼서 나는 카펫 냄새, 설비의 악취도 겨우 참을 수는 있었습니다. 후각은 무뎌지니까. 근데 도로의 소음은, 새벽 3~4시가 되어도 나는 차량의 굉음은, 모든 숙박시설에서 생전처음 겪는 최악의 경험이었습니다. 노이즈캔슬링 이어폰을 끼고도 총1시간 깜빡 잠들었다가 깨었을 지경. 좀 더 늦게 체크아웃해도 되는데 이미 잠이 깼고 빨리 탈출하고싶어서 1박뿐인데도 새벽4:45에 공항행 첫 열차 타러 나왔어요.

난바역과 가까운 편이고, 숙소 바로 앞 편의점 및 드럭스토어가 있어서 기념품과 간식을 사기 너무 좋았어요. 그리고 일본 숙소는 많이 좁다고 들었는데, 니신 난바 인은 캐리어 펼치 수 있을만큼 답답하지 않고 넓은 편인 것 같아요! 직원들도 친절하고 위치도 훌륭했습니다. 가격도 저렴하고 추천합니다~

대부분의 관광지역이 난바역 근처에 있다보니, 지하철을 이용하는 경우 지하철역까지 약 5에서 7분 정도 소요됩니다. 그리고 가장 가까운 지하철역을 가더라도 난바역에서 멀어지는 방향의 지하철역으로 가다보니 그만큼 거리적인 손해가 큽니다. 여름이 아니라면 걸어서 대부분의 관광지역까지 20분 정도 소요되는 점이 큰 단점은 아니였을텐데 여름이여서 이 부분이 힘들었습니다. 그 외에 청결함이나 무료 조식, 직원분들의 친절함은 정말 좋았습니다. 여름 말고는 정말 강력 추천하는 호텔입니다. 팁 문화만 있었더라면 매일 호텔 정리해주시는 분께 감사의 인사를 전했을텐데라는 아쉬움이 있습니다..
