Booked for a stopover on way to Sweden, comfy bed, excellent meal in the restaurant ( steak was a bit rare but very lean and tasty) lovely setting by the river and staff were lovely. Watch out for the illuminated headboard thing if you’re tall, managed to whack my head on it in the night, silly idea. Weather was appalling but not the hotel’s fault. Staff let us park our motorbike in the electric bike store, all locked up and dry.

End of season
A bit disappointed. We spent three days in their “comfort” room. On the plus side there was plenty of room and a good location in the centre of the hotel but the whole place looked tired and very much “end-of-season”. The carpet in our room needed renewing and the big picture windows were very dirty. The whole appearance was dated and a bit scruffy. Tea/coffee was there for the first night then to be paid for on subsequent nights. I’ve never come across that before. Oh dear .... what a shame.

We enjoyed the very clean room and the view from the deck. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has good food. The hotel is a little dated and could use some air-conditioning. Otherwise we had a great stay! Very central to the friesland area.

Stayed one night enroute. Had a canal side room with balcony on 2nd floor. Excellent. Restaurant was fine as were the staff. It was a quiet period and I suspect in the high season it may get a bit crowded and noisy. Short walks along the canal passing boating marinas and small village with a few restaurants (most closed when we were there in April). No complaints.

Pleasant reception staff and a lovely quiet location. On the basis of past reviews we booked a room with a lake view, and this was a good choice.We enjoyed watching the ducks making their way across the ice on the lake.Parking and breakfast were included in the price, making it a nice stay en-route to our destination.

Fantastic food!
Just 10 minutes outside of Leeuwarden, a beautiful rural setting next to a canal with sailing excursions in the summer. We ate dinner there every night and can't say enough good things about the food and the service. Will definitely return in the summer!

Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Wasserstraße und man kann 24h den Bootsverkehr von der Terrasse aus beobachten.
Die Zimmer sind sauber und gepflegt. Im Bad fehlte eine Steckdose für den Rasierer. Frühstück war reichhaltig und Abendessen sehr gut. Personal ist freundlich und sehr bemüht. Von uns eine klare Empfehlung für andere Gäste !

Mooie plek en Horecavoorziening. Ik had helaas kamer 24 aan de binnenplaats en boven de keuken. Op de binnenplaats werd door het personeel nog een biertje drinkt na werktijd wat wel hoorbaar was. Kamer 24 is een ( oudere ) kamer en heeft geen airco en zowel smorgens als savonds staat daar de zon. Het was die periode erg heet helaas. Indien vrij kun je het beste de kamers met mooi uitzicht over het water nemen, welke ook logischerwijs duurder zijn. Ontbijt was ok, maar al met al vond ik het verblijft aan de prijs mbt de kamer. Maar je zit in een mooi toeristisch gebied en de vakantietijd was begonnen. TIPS: Geef de kamer op zijn minst airco en hang de TV voor het bed.

Een geweldig hotel met een prachtig uitzicht op het water. Vriendelijk personeel. Het eten is heerlijk, zowel het ontbijt als de lunch en het diner.
Een (klein) minpuntje zijn de vieze ramen, buiten op het terras zijn de vensterbanken echt vies en de spinnenwebben zitten overal.
Maar verder zouden we iedereen aanraden dit hotel te boeken. De sfeer en de uitzicht maakt alles goed!

De kamers zijn schoon, maar flink gedateerd. Vooral de badkamer is aan een modernere touch toe! Op het balkon is verlichting aanwezig, maar geen knop te vinden om deze aan te doen. Zelfs bij de receptie wisten ze dit niet.

Het hotel ligt op een prachtig plekje aan het water. De kamers zijn niet heel ruim, maar het balkon en uitzicht zijn wel top.

De har meget svært ved Engelsk generelt. Aftenreceptionisten havde mere travlt med at få talt kassen op end at få gæster checket ind. Vi måtte alle pænt vente til hun synes hun havde tid, dårlig til engelsk og Tysk var hun også. Kun én i restauranten kunne Tysk og slet ingen kunne/ville tale Engelsk om aftenen. Fint nok i løbet af dagen. Super fed Lokation, masser af action på vandet hele dagen. Vi måtte dog køre hjem pga varmen, ingen aircon på værelserne og med udsigt til +40 grader var det nok. På ende gavlen er der en stor presenning reklame som larmer rigtig meget i vinden, så få ikke et værelse i enden. Billig indkøbsmulighedder ikke så langt derfra, masser at se på/besøge.
