we were traveling international with family for the first time, not a good experience, we checked out several weeks early because of mold and the hotel would not refund any portion of the stay, they said the mold smell was irrelevant, they also charged an additional 10 percent of booking price up front for \"cleaning services\",

My lady and I stay at this establishment for six nights (Saturday through Friday morning)

That said, I cannot recommend this hotel, because the information posted was deceiving. We had the so called \"Executive suite.\" What a joke.

First and foremost, it was located on the 2nd floor (which was technically the first floor of rooms). There was no tv in the living room, and no room to seat and relax comfortably.

Extremely small living space.

When we first checked in, I mention this to the front desk personnel, he ensured me that they would rectify the issue the following morning. There was zero follow up from the staff. In addition, I mentioned that I was a Gold member, and highlighted that I was eligible for a free upgrade. No follow-up or upgrade occurred.

It get worse... They literally provided two towels, and one hand towel. Oh, please be prepared to go out and purchase your own toilet paper, because what is provided is essentially tissue paper that is dispensed like ... Tissue paper.

The hot water was only available the first couple of days, then it was luke warm the rest of the trip.

The maintenance team was banging and making noises every morning.

There is so much more, but it's not worth my time. The last thing I will mention is when my lady and I checked out on October 24th, the front desk personnel was sleep, and was discombobulated. Didn't assist with our bags down the stairs, or provide and assistance.

Will never stay at this establishment again.

Comfortable. Excellent location.
The massage chairs in the lobby are a HUGE Plus!! we really enjoyed them after walking all day around the city.
The breakfast could be served earlier (available only from 7:30-10:30am). And it would be nice if they had a cafeteria instead of bringing it to the room as it felt a little cramped for us to eat in the guest room.

I had made a reservation with the receptionist at the hotel a week before my stay and when the day came for me to stay there they couldn’t find my reservation. I was waiting for 2 hours for them to find my reservation once they did they said that a previous guest had left their suitcases there and they couldn’t give me a room. They didn’t even apologize and after 2 hours had to find a different hotel. Worst experience ever. DONT STAY THERE!!!!

It is a roach hotel. I found severed roach legs, roach wings, and actual roaches throughout the room. The shower was moldy. Mini fridge didn't work ao my food was spoiled. Microwave had a terrible smell. Pillows had hairs and covers were unwashed. The photos featured were staged. The only good thing was that the staff was relatively friendly and polite.

Ive been here before. This time the quality was disappointing. Breakfast was only bread and egg. No eggs the last 2 days beacuse they didnt have gas. No fruits. Towels were small and thin. NO INTERNET for 2 whole mornings.

I've got little trouble bringing guest to my room so it is advised to heck with the hotel before if it is permitted.
Make sure to request a lower floor because the higher up the less pressure the shower has, I was in the 7th floor and it was dripping from the shower.

No Frills but a great hotel!

I arrived at 7am and requested a dearly check-in. Unfortunately the room would not be available until 2 PM so I accepted a lesser room (still a suite) w/ the option to change for larger roomette next day! I decided to remain in the room which was only slightly smaller than the reserved suite.

The staff was friendly and efficient and for the most part spoke English well., The Hotel was very clean and neat.The Breakfast simple and fresh. It was delivered each morning and included Eggs, coffee, orange juice and rolls.

This hotel is located an easy 10 minute walk from Kennedy Park and restaurants.

Overall a very enjoyable experience and a very good value for the price. I would definitely stay here again!

I really had very hight expectations of this place, but was truly let down once I arrived to my suite. Only two small pillows on my bed, limited towels, shower heads that was not functioning properly...bedrooms missing privacy inner curtains. Bathroom had ceiling paint that was falling apart while the stem hit the walls.

The property is in a good location in Miraflores, close to lot of things but not on a major traffic congested street which we found pleasant. The room was clean and outfitted with the basics. The beds were comfortable although we had expected a King bed and were told by reception they would push the two double beds in our room together to make a King if we would like. So despite the picture, I cannot confirm whether the hotel actually offers King Beds as advertised. The junior suite had a sofa bed in the living area that we used. Unlike most sofa beds which typically have a thin excuse for a mattress which is very uncomfortable, the hotel brought in a full sized double mattress and placed it on the sofa bed which was not expected but greatly appreciated. Overall, we had a pleasant comfortable stay and would recommend Petit Palace.

Great location in Miraflores. Walking distance to shopping centers and Kennedy park. You can rent bikes and scooters around. You can find food around easily. It’s a bit pricy but since it’s walking distance from Barranco it was great. the breakfast is a plus and they bring it to your room.

Only complaint is that there is no ventilation in the bathroom. Shower and towels remained wet all day and bathroom had an odor that never really went away.

Otherwise hotel was clean, spacious, breakfast provided at whatever time you wanted, staff was friendly.

This is probably a hotel converted from an apartment building, so it does not have a proper restaurant or any gym facility. Then again, there are large number of restaurants nearby and few come to Lima for gym facilities. But it has large rooms and all the convenience of home away from home. It is also centrally located. The staff is very helpful. Not knowing any Spanish and completely oblivious about Lima, the front desk helped to organize a day tour with taxi for multiple drop off and pick up, and payment at the end of day, saving fumbling about petty cash. Highly recommended.

The place was tidy and comfy. Was fine for a few nights and in a good area. Easy to get to lots of bars and eateries. While the street noise wasn't an issue for us as they windows did a good job of blocking that out, the noise between floors could be heard. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Minor recommendations - would have been good if there was a bath mat provided, and some dishwash liquid and cloth to clean dishes.

Be aware the 10% tax is not included in the price - it's in the fine print but by the sounds of it, catches a lot of people out.

Mixed feelings. The room I stayed in did not have anything resembling a kitchenette. It has a small fridge with an opened bottle of coke from someone else and an opened bag of doritos as well as items you could buy. The fridge smelled bad. There was a kettle to boil water and a microwave stacked in a corner. They floor was not done correctly so that there was a gap between the tile which I stubbed my toe on repeatedly. The power went out a few times so there was no air/light/wifi in the room. I stayed 4 nights and I never had a bath mat so the floor got wet and was slippery of course after a shower. No racks for towels to dry, just a lot of things that were not done correctly. My room was right next to the kitchen, no room number, and it was noisy with workers until past midnight and they returned at 6am. Breakfast was served in the room..but the coffee was undrinkable. There was s solid lump in the bottom of the cup. I used Ubereats each night for dinner and that worked out fine for meals. The worst thing was that when I checked out they argued with me about the items consumed from their \"kitchen\" and they charged an extra 18% saying all the hotels in Lima do it. I have been here one month staying in hotels and this is simply not true. This hotel lists a lower price and then later charges you 18% while most likely the hotels advertise the price that includes all charges. So, it seems like this hotel is cheaper but it is not..not honest at all. I won't be returning.

It was a great place to stay in the miraflores district in Lima. The hotel was very clean and the service was great. Many places to go out and eat from the hotel. Family really enjoyed the stay. One thing to know is there is a 10% fee that is added and you must pay for it. Also do not lose the room key. It’s not like I’m most places where it’s not a big deal if the key gets lost. You will be charged if you lose your key card. Learned that the hard way. Other than that it was an enjoyable stay.

The only parr i didn't like was arriving the first day to rhe wrong room i paid for. I was told it was due to maintenance issues. However i went on a trip for 3 days the next, and when i came back i got the room i paid for plus it was very pleasing after then. It was quiet , comfortable bed, staff was absolutely nice. There are Camaras and the hotel is 24 secured. I loved it.

The staff is very accomodating and friendly. Most speak english pretty well. Some do not speak english, usually the ones serving breakfast to the room.
The rooms are exceptionally clean! Very modern feel.
The only downside is if you are a light sleeper, you might have issues with the neighboring rooms. The rooms are not very sound proof. If you are planning on bringing a crying baby, or you plan to get naughty/argue with your partner...everyone else around you is going to hear it!
The breakfast they serve you is avergage. If you do not like having the same thing every morning, a hotel with buffet option may be in your best interest. It isn't anything unique, yet. I think they experiement sometimes and are trying to inprove with their options.
We adored the staff and the cleanliness/roominess of the place nonetheless and we would come back just for that alone.

The hotel itself seemed clean enough, in good condition and the staff was friendly. However, the room we got was not what we booked, and we never did get the Junior Suite nor any kind of refund for the difference in price. Plus the room had a horrible sewer smell coming from the floor drain. The shower did not work properly, the water temperature and pressure varied all the time. The breakfast is very simple and without flavor. Not sure what the 10% service fee was for as the staff did not do anything extra over and above the stated fees and taxes charged by Hotels.com.

We wanted to stay at Petit Palace and enjoy a living area. To our dismay the living room area was completely unusable. 2 couches crammed together in an L shape with no room for a small table to put a cup of tea or a reading lamp. Breakfast was okay, fruit, coffee and bread. The staff was friendly and we did get fresh towels everyday which we needed since we never received a floor mat or bathroom rug on the marble floor tiles. Bathroom was very small and then they charged us an extra 10% on checkout. Totally unexpected and turned out to not be a good bargain. On the other hand it was walkable to many restaurants and the beach. The whole stay was disappearing

When we got to the hotel we were settled in the wrong kind of apt. We paid for a deluxe 2 double beds and the place had 1 doble bed in the bedroom and a double sofabed in the living room. We complained about it and were moved to a different apt. that met our reservation. Tha breakfast wasn't great, the coffee always cold and the juice not of our taste. They did not provide complimentary bottled water as we got in other hotels.
We were charged an extra 10% service tax in u$s when it was included in what we paid on all other hotels we stayed in Peru.
All in all , We would not stay at this place again. We rather stay at a regular hotel .

We stayed here during our time in Lima. The location was in easy walk to many shops and restaurants in the area. The accommodation was pre-paid prior to our arrival, but on checkout was changed an additional 10% charge. This was not made obvious when looking at this accommodation originally on expedia, so I am not impressed with the additional charge.

Petit Palace Hotel meets the expectation considering the cost. It is located at one of the most preferred and safe location in Lima. The pacific beach is also within the walking distance. There are many restaurants in the neighbourhood. The breakfast provided is adequate and nothing to complain.
The distance from the airport is not too far. Although we arrived late at night, the staff was extremely cooperative and helpful.
Thanks to their staff, we could coordinate with the hotel at our next destination at Machu Picchu. With their help and cooperation we could plan our trip to Machu Picchu. The itinerary provided by Expedia was faulty and there was no way to reach Machu Pichu on time according to it.
We missed one night and had to book into a hotel in Cusco for the night with help from the hotels already booked.

So, this hotel is nice. It was clean, everyone working at the desk was really helpful. We missed breakfast but they even packed us a little lunch which was sweet / they helped us get a taxi / etc. The main problem with this hotel is something to do with their plumbing maybe. The bathroom smells like sewage for some reason. It made it a little unpleasant. Other than that, everything about this hotel was great. Good location, great staff, big rooms, and the bed was really nice and comfortable.

Almost everything was wonderful about this hotel, especially the staff! They even got me out of a sticky situation with a couple of women. Jajaja. The location is perfect, it is close to everything you may want! My only problem is that the breakfast got much worse as my stay progressed. At the end, I was getting bread, a piece of luncheon meat, and juice. For $500 per week plus over $60 in extra charges at check in, that is redichlous! For instance... I broke a $0.50 glass and they charged me $5.00. Like I said... the staff is great and so is the location, but the price to value ratio leans to the left.

Extra cost

The hotel was already expensive and they slapped on a “service cost” at the end. They stated “only your room is paid for.” This extra cost was very frustrating to me based on a trip budget that is strict.
If this was mentioned on Expedia, or taken care of on Expedia, then this would’ve been much more tolerable.

Themakeuptraveler: Journey To/Through South Americ

My husband and I only stayed at this location for about 8 hrs due to our flight being later on that night and when I tell you it was by far one of the best parts of our trip!!! The rooms were absolutely amazing!! They looked like high priced city penthouses, but they were way cheaper. They are located about 30 minutes from the airport, but once you get in your taxi/car and see the scenery you'll forget all about the distance.

Nice hotel.

Really nice hotel. Perfect location in Miraflores. A lot of nice restaurant in the area. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast (they bring you the breakfast into the room).
