The pool seating was comfortable,the food was not to great. If food was better customers will buy more and feel comfortable eating and staying longer.

room has sink outside the bathroom so imagine when you use the toilet you are contaminating things until you get out of bathroom and wash you hands in front of everyone. Property onsite food is not healthy so be prepared to gain a few pounds.Kids will have a blast though.

My 4 year old loved her kids ‘den’ and the painted picture of the furry characters on the wall. As the place is clearly aimed at children a step stool for the sink and a flip down child sized toilet seat would have been good considerations. Water park floor and floors throughout the hotel were not clean but hardly surprising given the number of people there. It was so loud! We had to shout to hear each other most of the time. If you have sensory issues or want to eat reasonably healthily (not too much grease and sugar) plan accordingly! Plenty to do there and early check in was pleasantly easy and free!

What an incredible experience! This was my first time staying at GWL and it def won’t be my last. Took my 6 year old daughter and we both loved it. We arrived at 11am and were told our room was already ready via the quick and easy self-service check-in kiosk. Ok there was a slight hiccup there bc the kiosk had an error printing our bracelets, but that wasn’t a big deal. We got those from the courteous check-in staff who also told us about all of the great events they had going on and gave us our wolf ears. The entire place looks well maintained. No chipping paint or outdated elements. The hallways are even painted nicely, have animal themed carpeting, and animal themed light accents which was a nice touch. The room was spacious and the shower pressure was perfect! Beds were comfortable too. Although idk why only 3 pillows per bed. If you have 2 people in one bed, does one person get 2 pillows and the other only get one? Again, not an issue for us but just a weird thing overall to me. The water park was a lot of fun and plenty of activities/rides to keep you going all day. Also plenty of food options as well. Oh and bars throughout, for the adults which was nice… and a full DUNKIN shop inside in case you want non-hotel offered options (exciting for me as I’m originally from the east coast where Dunkin has far more locations than here in CA). The employees were all very nice too. My only minor issue was the bathroom area was cold in the water park but it wasn’t that bad.

The room AC/Heater was not clean. It had food crumbles inside it and looked nasty. Also the heater kept on making a lot of noise all night. Its an old unit and it kept on waking my kids up.

Midweek trip in October... It was lively as nearby schools were on Fall Break but not overwhelmingly crowded. I can see how a trip here could go south if you come at the wrong time but for us it was great.

5 and 9 year old kids loved the water park, rope course, and Magiquest game. Younger one had fun with mini-golf but it's a small course.

I was afraid there would be a shortage of rafts/tubes for the tube slides and lazy river based on other reviews but during our stay there were plenty, including for the giant family raft slides.

Food was fine, actually the pizza was very good. Easy to head down the street if you want to drive elsewhere or get supplies for the room (for one thing, Costco next door).

All the staff we dealt with were friendly. Treat folks as you would like to be treated and usually interactive go well.

I have stayed at two different locations before this one CO & AZ and this was the worst by far. It was way overcrowded and the fact that you have to pay for parking each day for your stay is ridiculous. also half the tubes did not work on the large slides more than half the time.

Food game needs to be upgraded!!!

It is Catered for children that part is really really nice. They only have one restaurant, it will benefit if they had two or three. The food options are very limited and not that good overall!!! Everything else the arcades, the water parks, the golf, the obstacle course, the dragon hunting game, the entertainment,dancing in the evenings, is very good.

Check in was easy. When my family and I got to the room, there wasn’t any hand soap, then when my daughter came out of the shower, we noticed that the bathtub was clogged. Since I had reached out the front desk for hand soap, when one of the employees brought it to my room, I notified her of the bathtub issue, she called someone while she was taking a look at the bathtub ,who told her to place an order to get it fixed. We waited for 2 hours, and no one came. I went to the front desk to see what had happened and she checked to see of there was any order placed and there was none. The front desk employee offered to send someone but I explained her that it was already10:30pm and 2 of my children were already asleep. She just apologized and I went back to my room. I’m very dissatisfied and I will not recommend family and friends to come stay at this place.

It was our first time going, and we brought the whole family — we all had an awesome time! The only issue was the air conditioning. It made a really loud noise during the night, which made it hard for us to sleep. That was the only downside to an otherwise great experience.

Birthday trip

We went for my granddaughter’s 5th birthday and had a great time. Staff, room and activities were great. The only problem we had was with accessibility at the automatic doors I use a mobility scooter and my mom was in a wheelchair and the accessibility doors didn’t work very well or not at all at some doors.

Fantastic place with small, but nice waterpark - lots to do even though it is small and a range of activities from water slides to wave pool to outdoor swim area. The staff were extremely friendly and even wore wolf ears. Will certainly return again.
