Don't believe what they say is included

We Love going to Toronto. This location was very good, but FREE ON-SITE Parking was stated on original reservation. $20 On site parking was stated on check in instructions THERE WAS NO ON-SITE parking. This was a terrible inconvenience as we had to find parking during a very busy weekend. The rates for parking were not too bad but the inconvenience was huge!

The check-in process is a major hassle. They contact you last minute with instructions. We had to wait on the street for information on how to park and enter the building, what room we booked, etc. They were slow to prepare the room, and when we got access to the room it hadn't been cleaned yet. I understand that this was not a hotel, but if you're going to charge the same rate as a hotel, then step up your game. Oh, and parking is an additional $25 on top of the $500 for one night.

I'll just book a hotel next time.

The check in process was quite easy, and well explained. The location was convenient to the Ex and Liberty Village and was very easy to get around.

The two bedroom unit was veey clean and welcoming. It is starting to show some wear and tear in the bathroom, but did rhe job for the night and the price was right. Would book again.

Stayed for 2 night on the 7th floor. Nice balcony. Communication with the folks you book with are quite nice and quick! Well for my experience that is. I needed the smoke detected battery changed as it was beeping every 60 seconds. A 2 minute fix but took over a day or more to get fixed. They need more maintenqnce people consisering they manage a lot of rooms and or building's. Hallways had water damage and holes in the ceiling, the phootos and what you get seemed accurate as well which was good. Location wasnt horrible either.

Studio needs rennovation, shower head leaking, walls need to be painted, found rusty kitchen ware, I don't think bed sheets were recently washed and checking in procedure was very annoying. Pros: nice area, close to the train, had all the supplies and amenities,

I booked this place for one night while I was in Toronto for the Taylor Swift concert.
On the day before check in, I received many texts and emails asking for payment. I paid in full through Expedia the day I booked it last August. While I tried to get in touch with someone from this property, it was useless. The person I spoke to kept saying they hadn’t received payment, saying I couldn’t check in because I hadn’t paid. I started realizing this place is shady and not a reputable establishment. I panicked and booked a near by Hilton because I needed somewhere to stay that night. It was very stressful and I never ended up getting my money back or getting in touch with anyone to rectify the situation. Don’t stay here.

In all our travels we have never experienced anything anywhere near this bad. We did not get the Deluxe apartment with dining area that we booked. The place was dirty and in bad condition. The entrance closet was unusable and had garbage in it. The bedroom closet was completly full of junk and had only 2 hangars in it. The bedroom matress was caved in the middle and had only one sheet. We were not provided with the included parking as stated. We were asked instead to find a public parkade with hourly or daily rates. After many hours of negotiating and missing our reservations we were provided temp parking only to be asked again to vacate the spot the next day. We missed our dinner NYE reso because of this, trapped at the suite negotiating for parking again. We were eventually told we could stay till the following morning, but would need to move again at 10am on Jan 1st. When we were not provided with an alternative parking again we packed our bags and left a day early.

Also, don't be fooled by the pool and sauna pics. We were denied access to these facilities and told they were not for short term stays.

Our trip was ruined, having to fight for hours each day for what we paid for and missing appointments, reservations and time with friends while being trapped inside a dirty junior suite, worried our car would be towed if we did not leave the parkade as instructed.

Disaster on every level from start to finish. Avoid at all costs.

The suite was very clean and tidy and I would happily stay there again.

There were a couple of broken items (kettle didn't work, and a bathroom cupboard was broken and hanging off the wall unsafely) which we reported and were not fixed during our stay which was inconvenient.

The check in procedure was not well communicated on the Expedia listing (it said the desk would welcome me... they did not!) I received an anonymous text requesting a deposit which I thought was spam. When I arrived on site the check in desk said I should have received instructions so I phoned around to confirm it was not spam and paid the security deposit, then checkin instructions were given. This was very scary for me as a woman, being by myself downtown checking in in the evening at one building and being told over the phone I should send money and THEN they would tell me where my apartment was. Felt very, very dodgy. This should have been communicated in writing in the Expedia listing.

Because the building was very nice and the room is nice I have given a good review. But I recommend better communication in the Expedia description.

This is my worst experience, they said free parking but you have to pay like 50$ a day for it. everything was a total mess hair everywhere not clean at all.They ask me for a 300$ deposit fees and they didn’t give it back at the end of the trip, I’ve clean everything before I leave. I wasn’t able to reach and speak to anyone.

Terrible experience, absolutely no help from “host” they actually sent me to the wrong building , after having to call the number to contact property no one answered , had to keep calling 20 times. Expedia post states just see staff at desk, the staff at the desk have nothing to do with this property.
After figuring they sent me to the wrong building, I had to walk 2kms to he correct one only to be hung up on 3 more times. No information about check in even though they claim they send emails which I only received 5 hrs later. No wifi information, no check in information, a buzz in code to the correct building, no parking information was provided. When buzz the intercom to enter the building I had to do 6 attempt as the intercom kept getting a voicemail. DO Not waste your time with this property. Once inside the towels that were in the unit were still wet, but rolled up, the plates were dirty and wet in the cupboard. Windows only were cleaned as high as someone could reach. And to show how much this host cares the bathroom hand towels were in a pile under the sink. And the kicker was here was only 1 roll of toilet paper in the whole unit. Was in town for an event ( taylorswift) but for $700, any reasonable person would not want to waste an extra 2 hrs trying to check in and dealing with the complete unprofessionalism as this host. Go to a hotel , and to be honest Expedia’s should do better as the information they posted was completely incorrect. Go to hotels directly .

J'ai réservé un appartement via hôtel.com avec un service de réception, c'était d'ailleurs indiqué comme tel.
A mon arrivée, surprise, il y a des gens à la réception mais il faut entrer avec des codes. Ils finissent par nous ouvrir, ils nous disent que nous avons reçu des codes pour accéder à la chambre. Je n'ai rien. Ils ne peuvent m'aider, j'appelle hôtel.com. Cela ne répond pas, ils me rappellent. Au bout du fil, j'imagine que c'est une indienne, je ne comprends pas un traître mot. Un mot revient \"deposit\", je comprends qu'il faut payer une caution...elle m'envoie un lien, je ne suis pas rassurée car j'ai peur d'une arnaque...je finis par payer 500 dollars de caution...ils m'envoient un enregistrement à faire en ligne avec plein d'infos personnelles... finalement le fameux sésame arrive, je peux monter dans la chambre...il faut aller garer la voiture mais une seule place dispo alors que nous avons 2 voitures. Nous sommes 7...une heure de perdue pour régler ça alors que nous sommes en vacances'..ça a été le moment le plus stressant de mon voyage ..l'humain, le contact se perd ..

There was no place to check in, as was described in the write up. And when trying to get a hold of the owner of the unit, their phone just rang and rang (no one answered).

Once inside the suite, there was significant damage. The drywall on the walls was missing from the floor up 24 inches. There was evidence of water damage.

The front door was left open, with the keys on the counter near by. And the building was u locked as well. Anyone could walk off the street and enter the unit.

It did not feel safe or clean. I will not be staying there again.

The property itself was good, comfortable space, good location, the apartment has most things we needed for two days. Some towels and the shower curtains were stained but that was tolerable. The apartment is inside a residential building and should probably be listed on Airbnb or the like. When we arrived by car at 9:45pm we had to call the agent to get access and the check-in process was not smooth, it wasn’t even clear which building the apartment was in. We were told the last person who stayed there took the garage door fob, we had to park on the street and pay for it ourselves, even though the listing advertised parking is included. The agent sent me an app by WhatsApp to look for street parking, which was very frustrating after a 10-hour drive and it was the middle of the night. There was no guidance or effort for another solution. We managed to speak to the concierge, explained the situation and they kindly let us in the garage. This is something the agent could have sorted out for us because there is in fact an assigned parking space. With all the confusion, we didn’t end up checking in until about 11:30pm. For the duration of our stay, we didn’t use the car to avoid getting stuck again. Overall, we enjoyed our two days in Toronto and consider ourselves fortunate that we had a safe place to sleep, there are worse things happening in the world. I only recommend this property to be more organized and more considerate.

It is conveniently located, and they had instructions about how to get there. Although it was unclear where the parking spot was, after a while, you'll get there.
I'm just concerned about the security deposit. 10 days after I finished my stay, I still don't have it back!

Great value for downtown

We enjoyed our stay. Our unit did not have a lot of privacy with the open concept. Good location and amenities but had difficulty with parking we did not receive our garage opener and were given the wrong parking space so it was very difficult to get into the garage. Best value for 3 queen beds in downtown Toronto.

I’m furious. I had a very long day and came to the building to get into my unit. Something with the code wasn’t working properly and they couldn’t get me into the building and so they found another unit, which was a 10 min walk from where I was, after midnight. When I arrived at the second unit, the bed hadn’t been made and it was messy from the last customer. Disgusting!!!! When I called AGAIN they said there was another unit in the same building… when I went there, the door was locked. Oh it’s the building across the street the operator says. Sending me on a wild goose chase at 1am!!! The new unit has many rooms with burnt out lightbulbs and overall I’m just so unimpressed with this situation. The parkade in the first building was too small for my vehicle and I spent 30 min driving around until I found street parking and now I’m a 15 min walk away from it!! Extremely upset with this entire situation. I am here for work and now I’m even more exhausted!!!

Don't ever even consider this place. We never even got to stay in the room. They took our money and refused to answer our call for the enter to the room 8 calls. This was a medical trip and needed to have a guest to rest. We had to find another room at another hotel to stay at. I have never had such disgusting service ever. When asked for a refund they replied with a no refund policy. Nice way to make over $300.00.

Checking in was a but confusing since we forgot one of the steps prior to arriving. Being used to airbnb it was all new and different. Instructions could be clearer. Make sure you click on links provided by the property AHEAD of arrival time so you can have a smooth and quick self-check in. Otherwise people at the lobby are used to rentals in the building and will tell you to contact property directly and direct you afterwards. Overall it went well and we were not late to our concert which was our main concern.
Place was perfect for our 1 night stay, exactly what we were looking for: affordable, clean, safe and free parking! Even has a furnished kitchen for longer stays.

The check in was a bit of a nightmare. If we had a heads up from Expedia that we would be going though a security check upon arrival, we would have been more ready and comfortable. We were running short of time and are not experienced in phone use for online transactions. We needed 2 phones, a sympathetic help desk person and a patient wife to sort it out. We are seniors. The suite was clean, a bit worse for wear but well equipped and comfortable. It was walking distance to the Budweiser Stage which is why we chose it. Chicago Rocked! Parking was free, which is great but not well marked for a non resident. We spent 10 minutes looking for a ramp and 20 more finding our spot. Not a killer but again not like an airport or hospital parking lot. All in all we would stay again if we go to an event at the same venue.

The water and a/c were cut off in the apartment from 9:00 a.m - 5:00 p.m we were not warned by the owner. We had no choice but to spend the day outside of the apartment which added costs to our trip.

Property served my needs, and it was a great location. The view was good, but don't expect to see the tower! The space could be so much better with more detailed attention and care, interior felt very cheap. The booking was a NIGHTMARE! Expedia portion was smooth and easy, as always, but the required additional steps were not worth it; I will not book this again. I was asked to pay a security deposit, but before contacting to adjust, the invoice stated it was a room, cleaning and tax fee - felt very unreliable and I am still wondering if I will get my security deposit back as they charged it whereas hotels typically only reserve the funds against the credit card. The address we stayed was further away than what was advertised such that we had to pay for transportation instead of walk - and I chose this location as the advertised address was within walking distance to my event. Very frustrating. Instructions for using the fob were not clear, thankfully some residents were helpful seeing us struggle.
Overall, it worked, was safe, and the bed was comfortable. Will choose somewhere else next time.

Horrible experience with checking in and the support team specially with Ben. The condo was booked with parking and it wasn’t until all the check in issues that happened that they told me that the unit didn’t have parking. Had to pay parking out of pocket with no reimbursement. Dirty balcony, towels and pillow sheets. Horrible experience and I hope no one experiences this like I did. Complete embarrassment.

It was not the same property that I reserved. I have been transferred to 2 different property beside the one that I have booked. So we ended up in different property (not what we booked). As a result, additional to the terrible experience, I got a parking fine ticket of $50. Who should be paying it!? I thought the whole reservation was scam until I got access to the room. 2 hours of terrible experience and felt like we were junk!

Is not a hotel. Is an apartment which serve as a vacation rental. The apartment, which is big and has balcony, is pretty and is close to entertainment area. Don’t expect staff service, nor the amenities we find in hotels
