Attentive staff make a night and day difference for anybody's experience. From the moment I stopped the car the valet out front, I was greeted by multiple staff members who helped valet my car, carry my luggage, and facilitate my check-in and access to my room.

Thanks to all the staff at 1 Hotel for making this experience outstanding, one that definitely convinced me of coming back as soon as I can!

Clean room, comfortable bed and pillows. Heated floors in bathroom with a nice overhead rain shower. Room on the 6th floor is cold however even with turning up the heat. Staff is kind and it’s easy to use the app to make requests.

The staff were absolutely phenomenal. I want to give a shout out to the gentleman working on Saturday evening, January 17. He was super helpful and polite! The room was beyond my expectations, and I will definitely come back. 1 hotel is the best hotel in Toronto!!

I’ve stayed at 1 hotel Toronto 4 times now and the exceptional service from staff, and attention to detail makes every stay absolutely perfect, I’ve never had a single complaint!! Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Staff all very friendly. Rooms beautiful. Would recommend using the rooftop pool. Gym downstairs well equipped too, don’t forget to take a towel if you’re using the steam room in the changing rooms down there. Would definitely return.

We really liked the neighborhood location. And it was a convenient walk to many different areas. Our room facing Wellington was a bit noisy but the rooms were very nicely appointed with a lot of modern features. It has an excellent vibe at nighttime.

Wonderful experience

The hotel is beautiful. The staff is above and beyond friendly and helpful. The only complaint is the price, much too high but that seems a general economic trend governed by supply and demand. Mitigating that, is the exchange rate between the US and Canada, i.e., 25% effective discount for US citizens.

Beautiful hotel with every single detail made intentional. We loved our room, the furniture and decor, and all the amenities. Communication with the staff was excellent, and the service was very fast. Thank you to the staff for being so kind and accommodating!

The pool area is too small and doesnt have much seating so we werent able to go swimming in the sun, and parking should be included for the price of the hotel. The restaurants are very pretty and food & drinks were tasty, but overpriced for what it is. Overall, I would still recommend staying here for a calm luxury experience, but be prepared to spend lots if eating on-site.

The housekeeping staff first emptied my trash bin and then, without washing her hands, proceeded to make my bed. This made me very concerned about the hygiene standards of your hotel. I couldn’t even sleep well that night because I felt the bed linens were unclean.

Not returning- disappointing

Hotel is gorgeous but unfortunately we won’t be returning due to the never ending noise issues we experienced in an upgraded room. Spoke to the manager upon check out to relay our concerns, he was supposed to get in touch later on today but hasn’t. All we were offered was $100 off our final bill which wasn’t acceptable as we were placed in a room with known noise issues. Beware of the terrace rooms, especially if you’re nearby the exit/entrance to the terrace level. It was a literal nightmare that lasted all evening and into the early
