Hotel was nice and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
There's a bar in the loby and breakfast served. It's a bit expensive, especially since there's other restaurants of similar quality at far cheaper prices within walking distance of the hotel. I guess you pay for convenience.
There was a rooftop bar and a Michelin restaurant in the basement I didn't get to check out. I got back too late. May be next time.

Staff is amazing, great location
Nicole
What an amazing space. The architecture is gorgeous so the communal space is actually a place where everyone comes to hang out - it's a great energy. The rooms are lovely, food is delicious and the team really knows how to make you feel part of the hotel not just someone passing through. Loved my stay.
Melissa
The staff were great. So nice upon arrival. And went over and above by upgrading us to a Suite when our room wasn’t ready for us. Very impressed with the customer service.

Great stay
Richard Mark
We arrived earlier than expected but we were offered a pleasant early checkin. Emma at the front desk was super friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. We really appreciated her amazing help.
Jeffrey

Great location and great staff
Devin
I would love if the gym was a bit nicer but other than that, it’s a very beautiful property. The staff was very friendly and the alder restaurant on site was divine.

very good

The Ace Hotel is a treat! The decor is thoughtful and relaxing. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Although we didn't have our dog, it is also pet friendly without a pet fee! It is conveniently located, walkable to lots of amenities.
Hamid
We stayed at Ace Hotel Toronto for a weekend staycation and had a really enjoyable experience overall. The room was spacious, well designed, and had a view overlooking the park, which gave the stay a surprisingly calm feeling for downtown Toronto.
The hotel amenities were great, breakfast on the top floor was enjoyable, and the in-suite dining was genuinely very good. The food arrived right on time, and the quality was just as good as dining downstairs at Alder. Overall, it felt like a stylish and comfortable city escape for a weekend.

Good roof bar
Rachel
Pillows were bad, room wasn't cleaned, had to ask for a remote for the TV and water was cold every day.
Judy
The room was great, comfortable bed, however the lack of a table or desk to work on was inconvenient. Could really remove the mini bar space and provide a table or something.
Staff was great.
The Lobby is very cramped quarters with not a lot of options if not wanting to spend high prices at the Alder. Thankfully there are plenty of options outside of the hotel.

Great experience all around. Would love if they included a convenience store for essentials.
Nicole
Everything was good as it always is!
Anders
My new home in Toronto. Cannot fault the property or the staff.
Confidy
The customer service is extremely slow and poorly managed. As hotels guests, we are reserved an area in the common space for guest-only access. This is not a privilege however a benefit included in the amenities fees.
After check-in, I ask the floor manager for access. He informs me that the entire space is full, particularly with walk-ins. Instead, he recommends that I leave the hotel and try my luck elsewhere. After further explanation of dismay, he redirects me to their restaurant, Alder which closed within the hour.
The next morning, I called reception for a water kettle. It took over 30 mins to receive the kettle after numerous calls and reminders.
Lastly, for the nightly rate, the room only offers a measly amount of two 250mL water bottles/day. There are no complementary bottles thereafter, no water stations to refill reusable bottles, and the restaurant will not allow water carafes to be brought to the rooms.

The Ace Hotel is a great property. Excellent staff, well maintained hotel, different & tasty dining options available in hotel, & within walking distance or convenient Uber ride to interesting shopping, excellent restaurants & professional sporting events. Perfect for visitors to Toronto looking for a comfortable stay with a cool, hip vibe.

Amazing architecture and beautiful property, but unfortunately the bar staff were not attentive and the service was disappointing.
Raymond J
Fantastic hotel. Beautiful architecture, great vibe, cool lobby bar, better rooftop bar, nice neighborhood, and Michelin star restaurant, Highly recommended.
Richard
Never again
Gagan
Charming hotel with a boutique feel. Location was convenient. Staff was very friendly. The only complaint is/was that the soundproofing is nonexistent. 7.30 AM doors were banging, conversations in the common area was clearly audible- disturbed sleep.
Allan
Staff were excellent! And the building is very cool… Perfect location across from a park right in downtown Toronto. Beautiful property!
George
Everything was excellent: staff, cleanliness, and attention to details. The rooms were impeccable and even had a turntable with 5 LPs from local label.

Great place to stay. Would definitely stay again.
Janet
Well for the pricing, perhaps free coffee and tea should be included. Stayed two nights for daughters wedding, incredible food and service, staff were very thoughtful. The decor however, using plywood for all closets etc., not well received by our many guests. Didn’t fit with the boutiquey vibe, guitars in room - ?
Ken
Michelin starred restaurant. Incredible food.

I stayed at the 12th floor. On Saturday night ir was noisy that I couldn’t sleep. Just a word of excuse. If it were other hotels, it would have provided a complimentary.
Jason
Amazing location, excellent staff, unique, modern room with great amenities. Worth every dollar.
Leticia
Clean room, friendly staff, lovely area but too basic services. It could have a better host treatment.
Carol
Very expensive for adequate but nothing special. Service was less than expected. Housekeeping came only at the end of the afternoon (4pm) after two requests several hours earlier.
Jarrod
Really nice hotel very close to fantastic dining, walks, entertainment, and shopping. The rooftop bar offers a nice selection of cocktails and a cozy but hip atmosphere. The lobby bar has great coffee and pastries and a DJ on weekend evenings. The hotel room was spotless, with a nice bathroom, and good amenities. Overall a great experience with superb attention to detail.

One of my most fave hotel in Toronto!

Fabulous stay at this property. The rooftop bar (Evangeline) is not to be missed (excellent drinks and vibes)! Loved the neighborhood too - great food and drink onsite but a really cool upscale food court across the street (shout out to Sai Foon’s Pad Thai which was amazing).
Only one teeny tiny suggestion - the wooden benches at the ends of the beds look gorgeous but are shinbusters for us old folks who have to get up in the middle of the night - maybe a slightly smaller or rounded edge version?
Would stay here again in heartbeat!

Beautiful comfortable room with nice view of a park, good dining area next to the lobby for working and having a bite. Only thing was the lighting by the elevators is too dark.

Very relaxing, cleanly, kind staff

Great location. Nice foodhall across the street

Lovely hotel but not very sound proof. I was booked on the 13th floor and there was a daytime function above. Beat and base and I could literally hear the loud music playing. I really needed a rest after a 4.5 drive. Apparently the party continues as this area is the rooftop bar so I requested a move. The hotel accommodated but also another inconvenience to move rooms. That being said, the hotel is lovely and the staff are amazing.

Fantastic location with great dining options

Staff was not helpful with my booking. I accidentally booked 2 reservations and they were not understanding especially given the fact that it was my daughter’s wedding in Toronto that Saturday. There were at least 30 rooms that were booked by guests for the wedding including their suite which was $1,200 per night and they stayed 4 nights in the suite. I am going to contact management and follow up with my issue until it is resolved properly.

Underwhelmed.
Underwhelming for a hotel that has a “Michelin 2024” plaque above their front desk. Not a bad hotel by any means, but felt more like a cool restaurant and lobby that happened to have rooms upstairs.

Beautiful hotel, lacking a few basics.
Ace is a truly beautifully designed hotel, stylish, modern, and visually impressive. I don’t usually leave critical reviews, but I left feeling a little disappointed. After a long work trip, I was hoping for a bit of luxury and comfort, but the experience missed the mark in a few key areas.
There was no complimentary tea or milk in the room, and while the space was gorgeous, it lacked some functional essentials. There were no shelves in the shower, which meant leaving products on the floor, not ideal for a hotel at this price point. The bathroom had limited bench space and no hooks or additional shelving, making it hard to stay organised. There wasn’t a proper spot to leave keys, shoes, or coats near the entry, which made the sleek design feel a bit less ideal.
The kettle had no convenient outlet, so I had to plug it in the bathroom, and no teaspoons were provided to go with the few coffee sachets I was provided. Lastly, I was surprised to find that unless I paid for a streaming service to chromecast to the TV, only free-to-air TV was available. A few more accessible entertainment options would have gone a long way.
Overall, while the aesthetic was beautiful, the lack of basic comforts and conveniences meant the experience didn’t quite live up to expectations.

I had some terrible flight issues and upon arriving was super frazzled. By the end of check in I was laughing and felt at home. Precious had empathy for my situation and her friendliness felt genuine and conversation instantly put me in a better mood as if I had gotten home and now I can relax. I’m a frequent visitor to Toronto and will make this my new go to hotel while here. I encourage anyone to have a stay here!

Wonderful hotel
Nicest staff in particular the reception. Fast, welcoming, friendly, honest.

Comfort in style!
My daughter and myself met son and son-in-law at the Ace for a birthday celebration. Check in was organized and was given an upgrade as we were celebrating. Rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet for a good night sleep.
Dinner at the Alder was a great experience!

Loved the hotel and rooftop bar. Restaurant was excellent and the coconut cream pie is can’t miss!

Room was smaller than advertised as well as view is blocked by very close building

Ace was a nice hotel for part of our Toronto stay. We had the large room with a bath and a window seat. The best thing about this hotel is that it is across the road from the best food hall that I've ever been to. You won't go hungry here. My partner and I found it quite frustrating that the lobby bar / couches were always taken by people working in laptops when we just wanted to enjoy a coffee or a cocktail. You'd have 1-2 people spread out over a space large enough for 8 people. Just a very weird and wanky space. The gentleman at the bar who seated us the one time we were able to get in was busy

The fire alarm went off at 3 in the morning and I never recieved an apology or any leg of compensation
