Team guides us to the best place for lunch, made reservations and called us a Taxi.
Breakfast is a must at this Hotel, the options were surreal and delicious, you can’t beat the price or get a better breakfast for the price!

It was such a great experience. The breakfast is very nice. Our room is spotless and the location is just amazing. 7 minutes walk to the train station, 3 minutes walk from the old town wall, and everything is walking distance, without the noise of the town during the night. It’s a great experience. The stuff is just amazing, way more helpful and professional than the guy in the tourist office!

Very nice hotel in a great location. However, the website mentions a laundry station, which the hotel does not actually have. They explained that the information online was not updated. They do offer laundry service, but at a very high cost, so we had to go to a nearby laundromat, which took some valuable time out of our day.

The food was very good on the first day. We ordered the same dishes the next day, but the burger was undercooked and there were tiny bones in the spaghetti.

Other than that, it was a very good stay overall.

New hotel was very modern, clean and staff was very nice. Within walking distance of the old town and we found an excellent restaurant nearby (Vinho e Noz). Only complaint was shower drain wasn’t unclogged and soap wasn’t refilled after reporting the problem.

We were told we could not sit in the tooftop pool area without purchasing fiod or drink from the bar, but really no public lounge area in the hotel that is not restaurant space. We chose this facility because of the easy 10 minute walk from the train station. A five min walk to the old town. The facility looks as if it was upgraded recently and it is beautiful. The bed had a 14 inch quality deep foam mattress. Seriously, it was the best night’s rest since arriving in Europe over a month ago, hands down. Breakfast was great. If I could add another star if I could.

The hotel is in good condition in general. The rooms are clean. We had booked two rooms and they assigned first-floor rooms to us. The first night we discovered a colony of ants in one of the rooms which had entered our bags and clothes. The staff was very helpful in assisting us with cleaning our stuffs and assigned another room to us. Apart from this bad experience, the rest of the stay was good.

Hey it's a Hilton. Modern, spacious, nice lobby. There is a small area where it is espresso only and 3.5 euros a pod.
Seems a bit much. Why not free for hotel guests? The coffee in the room is also espresso pods only and they are
very stingy passing you more if two are not enough. There is nothing much interesting around the hotel- no shops, bars, restaurants. We had to walk at least ten minutes to get some interest. The front desk staff were professional and helpful. By some HUGE mistake, Expedia send to the hotel a message for an \"accessible\" room, that is, for a disabled person. What a nightmare. The bathroom is flat out dangerous. Water from the shower goes all over the floor AWAY from the drain. There are two shower heads, one I preferred to use sitting, but if you made a mistake the overhead shower pours out freezing cold water. We never did completely figure out the light switches. There is no obvious switch in the bathroom. There are switches on either side of the bed which operate all sorts of lights. It was impossible for us to figure out which switch worked which lights. The hotel is fine but I would certainly choose
a different place next time.

I really wanted to give this hotel five stars but I felt that a couple of things let it down! Firstly I want to start with the positive! I couldn’t fault the amazing front desk staff! They were friendly, welcoming, provided us with useful information on the surrounding areas and attractions! Check in was three but our room wasn’t ready for us until 3.45pm! We were located on the top floor,4th, in a superior king! It was a welcome surprise to discover that we had a balcony with a small table and two chairs! Our room didn’t face the busy road, we had read other reviews about rooms facing the road being quite noisy! We were at the opposite end of the fourth floor to where the rooftop pool and bar were located. Also a fitness room was on our floor. The two elevators were extremely fast and efficient. The buffet style breakfast that we included in our roommate was excellent, five stars! An excellent selection of hot and cold options! I enjoyed the custom omelette station where a chef would make you either fried eggs or an omelette. They also made fresh pancakes! My negatives would be not having slippers as advertised in our room description and the room being a little bit dirty! Smears on the bathroom tiles and floors and on top of the garbage can. Lovely hotel, great parking and easy walk about 10 minutes to the old town through a beautiful park. Highly recommend

The room was not ready when we arrived as I sort of expected because it was before 3pm. The room was not completely clean there were hairs in the shower and the crumbles in the sofa. I didn’t say anything because it was just a one night stay and I was not feeling good and was super tired.
The rooftop is very nice and the room have all the regular necessities needed when you’re traveling.
The other plus is the parking if you’re driving and location

This property knew when I checked in that the A/C did not work. They told me that it would be working soon. When I went to my room, it was very warm. I asked the asst. manager to help me solve this issue. They had no plan nor authorization to make this right. I suggested that they purchase a fan, and again, they needed authorization from the GM.who was AWOL. I asked them to contact the GM, and they told me that they had tried and he had not responded. The staff offered me a free dinner and drinks. How does that solve the problem of a hot room?
I had to sleep in a hot room with a window open 6\". The noise from the main street was loud, as well as a barking dog. The light from the city was bright. Suffice to say, my night at this Hilton was terrible, with not much sleep in the heat. They comped me breakfast, and when I asked to speak to the GM that morning, they informed me that he had not come into work yet. This was a disaster, no plan to assist the customer and an AWOL GM. I should have my room fee refunded.

A bit more mixed than I expected. Nice room, great breakfasts, and the breakfast and front desk staff were very friendly and kind. The fridge in the room and coffee maker was very welcome (along with the bottle of water each day and sometimes refreshing the coffee pods).
House keeping was hit and miss. Sometimes things happened, sometimes they did not. I picked the hotel because it had a pool and guest laundry. The pool is broken, and the guest laundry seems to have disappeared. I also had some problems with air con - while the hotel says it allows individual control this is not true. The first room I was allocated had the air con locked to off on a 35C day. The second room it was locked to 18C - which was much better but probably too cold for most Europeans in the summer.
The outside design is a shame - pedestrians have to go through the car park to get out.

Pros:
The location is excellent as it is close to all the main sightseeing in Evora. The staff was super helpful - helped us situate ourselves with a map, and made very helpful suggestions. Breakfast was well done & everyone worked really hard to keep the flow of people going.

Cons:
The parking lot was full so you had to park on the street which was fine for us but it might not have been for others. The swimming pool was small & a bit crowded so we chose not to use it.

Room was very comfortable with a very large bed, good quality sheets and towels. Close enough to old town although we went the wrong way to make it longer! Breakfast had waffles and an omelet bar w fresh fruit and cakes. Only thing we didn’t like was the little courtyard off the room was mostly walled in to make the room feel windowless and closed in.

Fantastic Hotel in the Historic City of Evora

Great stay on a two-day visit to Evora. The hotel is very new, built in 2023 (I believe). It is located just outside the city walls, which is a big advantage as you won't need to drive into or navigate the tight streets nor find parking. It's a short 10-minute walk to the city walls to explore the sites of Evora just beyond. Our walking tour guide said this hotel was one of only two that he ever recommended to his clients. We enjoyed the hotel immensely.

Hotel itself was excellent and featured a fabulous buffet breakfast. Property is only 2 years young, very attractive interior and decor. Has a superb rooftop pool, sundeck lounge and bar. The immediate area around the hotel is boring, somewhat dirty and rundown. You need to walk north about 15+ minutes (uphill on cobblestone streets) to approach the more interesting old town with some attractions.

We were grossly overcharged by Hotels.com/Expedia. The hotel acknowledged that the typical booking is 100 Euros with breakfast included, then proceed to charge us 68 Euros for 4 breakfasts because they were not included in our €139 booking. Book direct. This really upsets me.

Hilton Garden is a pleasant hotel within easy walking distance of Evora center. Its very clean, with large bedrooms and helpful staff. Breakfast is a delicious feast which includes various fruits, pastries as well as a cooked option. Dining options for vegetarians are limited and parking can be a problem.

We stayed one night but wished we had spent more time in Evora. The hotel is new and was very clean and quiet. They offered free on-site parking for our rental car, which was a big bonus. The location is within a short walk to the old town of Evora, and it was not as hilly as Lisbon and Porto, which made it a nice place to stroll around. There were good restaurants nearby and we enjoyed our stay at the Hilton. One note to make regarding the newer hotels we stayed at in Portugal: The toilet and shower stalls are within the hotel room and it tends to take away some privacy. I understand this is the modern trend but just wanted to make potential guests aware of this set-up. In all, this was the least expensive of the 6 hotels we stayed at in different cities in Portugal. Would highly recommend it. The staff was pleasant. No complaints.

This is a new and beautiful hotel at a great rate. Our stay was so comfortable, the buffet breakfast was amazing. The only thing is when we arrived the lady at the front gave us a hard time for booking a king room which they said was only for 3 guests. We had an infant and a preschooler who shared beds with us so we said the king was enough for us but she gave us a hard time anyways. We arrived late after a long day of driving so it was frustrating. But the manager came and helped resolve it immediately, he was great he showed me the room and made sure it worked for us which we really appreciated. I think the staff can get more training on being customer friendly and flexible but otherwise the hotel is amazing. Parking is tricky because sometimes cars park infront of the entrance so you can’t enter the free parking area. Perhaps more signs or have the front desk double check the parking entrance.

The hotel is in an excellent location, close to restaurants, shopping and historical attractions. They have a nice size parking lot for those traveling by car. The room was spacious; it had one of the largest beds I have ever seen in a hotel room. It looked like it was two queen size beds pushed together. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. It was nice to have a tea kettle. The air conditioning worked very well cooling off the room quickly. My only complaint is that the room was cleaned rather late at approximately 4:30. I understand that the first rooms that are cleaned are the checkouts but at times it was a little bit inconvenient. In addition, there was some confusion, someone came to collect the trash and do the beds. They did not take the towels or replace them. Approximately half an hour later, there was a knock at the door to clean our room. Not really sure what happened there. All in all, it was a great hotel and I would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend.
