Mostly clean. But lumpy, uncomfortable beds. Small bathroom with the lowest toilet I've ever seen. It was hard to use. The walk-in shower was nice, though the rain shower head was not very effective. There was nothing in the room for real tea drinkers. No coffee shop in the hotel either (had to walk a couple blocks to get my tea). The \"river view\" I paid extra for was mostly taken up by the side of the hotel, at a 90 degree angle to my room. In fact, we could wave at each other from our windows. Not ideal. Then there was the parking, which was very expensive. That said, all the staff was very kind and helpful, and the cleaning staff was hard working and effective.

A superbly designed and executed room. There was a long shelf to put two open suitcases on -- brilliant. Built-in hand towel slots under the sink. Lots of electronic plugs, USBs, etc. Nicely decorated, good fridge, nice shower. Nice lively location along the river.

I would have given this hotel a 5 star review, but some room conditions we found strange for the age of the hotel and the price point of our room. We booked a 1 King Bed Sofa Bed with Riverview, and paid about $300 per night all told. Nice room and GREAT view...so beautiful at night with floor to ceiling windows. Bed was comfortable, and the styling and amenities were on point compared to similar hotels.
However, our room had seam tape coming loose in a visible line across the ceiling. It was hard NOT to look at it, as the main feature of a hotel room is a BED that you lie on and look directly at the ceiling. Other small challenges included weak shower water pressure, and where the rail glass door met the bottom when rolling the door open made a sound like nails on a blackboard - loud enough neighbors could hear. Charcoal colored wall paper in the bathroom was stylish, but something white was splattered on it from before we entered. The square toilet seat was interesting, but as squares do, it...ummm... had corners. There seemed to be a flat panel air exchanger on the duct system for the heat. When the heat kicked on and off, it was sheet metal loud and startling in the night.

What a beautiful spot for a hotel. Close to everything and with a wonderful balcony on the 4th floor to sit and watch sunrises or activity in the park below. Room and property were clean and the staff was super friendly. The property was amazing. There was only one minor complaint. The curtain was too narrow to shut out the morning like so no sleeping in for me. I'm used to a dark room. Otherwise it was an impeccable stay.

Basically, all the money paid for the amazing river view in sunset. Parking is convenient but $35 for a night?! All the taxes and fees added up the total cost for one night stay is a bit high. The only two concerns are in the bathroom: (1) white tooth paste spots on the splash panel right in front of the sink (2) the toilet comes with a \"cheap\" loose plastic seat cover.

The fridge contains 2 mini-waters and two mini-glasses. In the land of wine tasting you think they might divine that a bottle might make it back to the room, and a couple of wine glasses might be in order? Nope.
The heater was noisy and kept going on and off all night. Bring earplugs.
Hand towels were taken by cleaning but never replaced.
And trying to leave the carpark on the final day involves pushing the reset button to call the desk to let you out. But if the desk doesn't pick up.... Well you'll just sit there....
