Clean, quiet and within walking distance to shops, promenade, markets, cafes and restaurants.
The hotel offered fresh water refills tea & coffee. The room had a fridge too.

Friendly staff, great location, clean. Stayed in Room 105, some updating required. Wallpaper peeling from the wall. The wardrobe needs a repaint. Lack of electric plugs. The coffee machine lead didn’t reach the extension lead, the plug was not near a mirror to be able to do hair etc. not workable. The room is a good size for 2 people and it is comfortable and quiet.

The staff are friendly, the room spacious and the breakfast was plentiful and good quality, there is a mini fridge and tea & coffee making facility. The only thing is the bed is on a firmer side that it took me sometime to get used to. Walking distance to the waterfront. Lots of restaurants around. 8 mins walk to the trains station and tram stop.

Honestly, everything about this place was fantastic — the staff, the hotel itself, and the area. Russell at the front desk was incredible. He’s a British expat with amazing local knowledge and went out of his way to make sure everything was smooth. Clareance ( spelling ?) (the manager) was also great — you could tell her main focus was making sure guests had a great experience.

The only small quirk was the shower setup — a bit confusing at first, but it did the job once you figured it out. Overall, I’d highly recommend this place, especially for the price.

Great stay in Nice! Boutique feel hotel with a cute elevator. Clean and bright accommodation in the heart of Nice. Bed was comfortable and location was convenient to walk see all the sites including the Old Town and Promenade de Anglais. We took the L2 from Nice airport to Jean Médecine and walked 450 meters to the hotel.

This hotel is a catfish! We got a room with nails exposed on the floor, and when we asked to move rooms they said it was sold out until we showed them our floors and magically they had a new room. The rooms were filthy and dated, it felt like you were staying in a hostel. The bedding was stained. The shower had someone else's hair and dirt on it. The sink had pink mold. The AC in our second room didn't work at all. Do not stay here. This is not a 3 star hotel it's more of a hostel. We were supposed to stay here again at the end of our stay and decided to cancel and book a diff hotel. The staff were nice and helpful, but the manager lied to us about the hotel having no vacancy and then he saw the nails on our floor and agreed to move us.

Boutique hotel in the quiet area of Nice

The staff was nice, location was great. Short walk to Jean-Medecine tram station, Nice-ville train station, to the beach and old town. Room was small (as expected for hotels in France), however shower cabin was so small that I had difficulty in washing my hair, as when I raise my arms, they hit the walls and I am a petite lady in the size of teenager. Not sure what can be done to fix it but it was stressful to take a shower. Although the surrounding is super quiet at nites, the walls are thin and you can hear all the conversation your next door neighbours are having. Also, I recommend that they cover the halls with a carpet as it makes a lot of noise when somebody walks. Breakfast was sufficient. Having a window was nice so that I could have fresh air in the room.

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Nice. Area was walkable and only about 10 minutes from the beach. Hotel was clean but pretty basic as far as accommodations go. The rooms were small but this is fairly typical of European hotel rooms. There was a closet in the room which was nice for storage. Our main complaint with the room was that there was a wall mounted air conditioner that didn’t work very well. Not ideal for peak summer heat. Building is definitely on the old side so not surprising that it didn’t have central air. The hotel offers a breakfast which we did not originally sign up for (it’s discounted if you sign up in advance). The front desk staff told us it was great and talked us into doing it for the days we stayed there. I wasn’t really impressed with the selection of foods or the fact that you literally had to make your own orange juice an electric juicer. No coffee service either, and if you want coffee you have to make it yourself at a machine with preset options. Overall not a bad place to stay if you’re looking for a more budget friendly option. It gets the job done without much frills.

We were impressed with the friendly staff at Hotel Aria, even a member of the night staff was immensely helpful to us.
The room we chose was clean and convenient, the bed comfortable.
The breakfast area wasn't fancy - but we came to appreciate the reliable and varied selection of foods on offer. Also the convenience of always having a place to sit there or refill from the water filter tap any time.
Access was good, easy to walk to almost any connection without too much fuss or bother.
We came away feeling pleased by our choice and refreshed by our stay.

Our stay was very enjoyable. The staff went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed, and were ready to give suggestions on transportation, food and buying basic necessities. The front desk rep was not only courteous but also ensured we had a map and pointed out main attractions and important places to may need (bus terminal & ticket machine) or want to ensure we see. We really appreciated the cleanliness and that a free self-serve station of water/coffee/juice was available at all hours, which was convenient. Thank you for your warmth and hospitality. We would highly recommend staying here.

The hotel location is manageable. 10 minutes walk to the main street and 6 min walk to train station. A little bit far from old town and beaches.
Rooms have small balconies, park view from the room.

Low key hotel in a quiet neighborhood

This quaint hotel is in a quiet area but still walkable to the more commercial areas (10-20 min walk depending on where in Nice you are going). All the front desk staff I interacted with were so friendly and helpful. The elevator was not working the first half of my stay but was fixed within a few days. I did not take part in the hotel breakfast but the dining room is cute and they supply empty carafes in case you want to take water up to your room. One downside is that the soundproofing between rooms is not great. I was there during the slow season so the hotel wasn't full but I could definitely hear conversations from other rooms.

This hotel is a gem. Located in a quiet area across the street from a small park, it's also within easy walking distance of both the train station and the sea. I enjoyed the combination of historic architectural features and modern design touches. We had a small balcony which was a great spot to relax at the end of the day.
The tasty breakfast offered a nice variety of options. Staff were friendly and helpful.
I'd definitely stay there again.

We’ve booked 4 nights at Aria.
It’s your basic hotel that offered everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Great location , 10 min to promenade, train station and majority of restaurants.
Very kind and friendly staff.
Good breakfast every morning with variety of pastries, eggs, cheese and meats , make your own freshly squeezed juice and , coffee machine, complementary bottles of either still of make your sparkling water for the room .
Room : spacious space with huge closet, comfortable beds and clean bedding.
I wished there were a full size mirror to check yourself before heading out (plenty of spaces to put one up btw ).
AC didn’t work well, but to have windows open means no rest at all!! Very loud all night long .
Bathroom: not the best set up. Walk up tub with small shower type enclosure. You’ve got to be slim to fit in that space and tub is quite slippery . Aside of tiny soap bar and liquid (all in one soap/shampoo) nothing else is offered , so bring your own.
Towels are small and dingy looking.We had a car and parked in the safe underground garage for remainder of our stay in Nice (4 days $120 for reference )
Overall it was a nice stay with minor issues.

Lovely hotel, about 10 minutes walk from the tram and the seaside. Lots of options for a wide variety of menus in the old town and on the way there too. Helpful and friendly staff. The room was in need of a little renovation, the wallpaper was coming off in places and the curtains were rather worn. Enjoyed the Nespresso coffee machine but would have liked 4 capsules rather than 3 each day. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

We stayed in a family suite. Lovely and clean, two separate rooms, bath tub/shower, fridge, safe and tea/coffee. Easily walkable to shopping and beach. Tram stop nearby. Also near pastry shops and supermarkets. We arrived early and room was ready so were able to check in. Water available to take up to the room. Breakfast available but we did not take this. Rooms were clean, newly renovated and good climate control. All in all it was the perfect place to explore the city.

Well-run but noisy and uncomfortable air-conditioning.

It's a seemingly small thing until you're being woken up every few minutes. The air-con noisily turns back on and rotates every 10 minutes or so, making sleeping uncomfortable. Everything else was fine and very conveniently situated.

Room was tired however the bed was comfortable, the sheets soft, and the duvet lovely. They are making an effort but the layout is tough. Bathroom floor plan is tight and shower, once in closed so that the entire bathroom didn’t get sprayed, was small for me at 5’,6” and 125lbs. Front desk staff were friendly but not engaged in making restaurant recommendations for a vegetarian family (the look of shock was palpable), ask 3 questions and that was 1 too many. I’m reluctant to be critical, hospitality is a tough business but apart from a very gracious ‘welcome’ email before we arrived the stay was a disappointment.

It is conveniently located by the main train station Nice Ville.
It is not in the center of the action. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from the hustle and bustle of the city. The beach is a 10 minute walk from hotel.
The elevator is extremely small but serves the purpose. The breakfast is fine. You cook your boiled eggs and squeeze fresh orange juice.
I would make sure to bring your own toiletries like soap and shampoo for the restroom.
The bed and sheets are comfortable. The room itself is a but small.

Got our Nice trip off on the wrong foot I think staying here. I hate to rate staff low because overall they were mostly excellent but the first person who checked us in was extremely rude. The same person was hanging outside didn’t even greet us when we returned that night. No information about the area was provided on check in like was normal at our other stays around France. First morning there we heard a beeping coming from the hall… it beeped for around 40mins while we were getting ready.
The shower was HORRIBLE. The ceiling had mildew clearly on it. The space to actually shower was maybe 1ft x 2.5ft. Probably less. Due to the fact that it is pointed from middle of bathtub to the back where the bathtub slopes and you cannot stand on it. Then there is a metal bar at your head. If you are above I’d guess 5’10 you have to put your head around this bar and bob and weave around it while showering.
The area immediately around the hotel was sketchy. We went for some take out pizza first night cause we were tired and got the most vile tasting “pizza” ever. I believe the cheese has gone bad… it was also the first time I felt unsafe with my wife. However safer feeling and better restaurants are within 10min walk. Beach within 10min walk. Train within 10min walk… would have been nice to have been told this information upon checkin.
Cleaning staff cleaned the room every day. Nice large windows. If you leave em open a nice breeze comes thru. Walls are NOT sound proof.

I thought I had booked a bigger room, but it was comfortable enough for my cousin and I. Loved the decor and staff were great. Walking distance to the beach and train stain which was great. The restaurant next door had amazing food. Breakfast was good too, your usual. They had a machine for fresh squeezed orange juice which was great. My only suggestion is in regards to lack of water some days during breakfast. Would be great to have one of those water dispensers which you can infuse with herbs/fruit. I feel like that would be a nice touch.

This is a lovely hotel and we enjoyed our stay here. Our room was great and the location is nice. It is not too far from the Promenade Des Anglais and a good price. The only downside for us was that our room was at the front of the building and it could be a bit noisy at night with traffic, and also the walls are thin and you could get a bit of noise from other rooms but otherwise a great experience. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.
