Hotel San Antonio is the main hotel in this group and facilities are in this hotel but a short walk away and right next to beach and bars/restaurants. Staff ok and knowledgeable, helpful when asked. Not many shops close by and centre of split is a good 20 mins taxi ride, busses are available but not used by us.

I hate to leave wrongful or bad reviews however the corridors of the block were not unclean but smelt like raw sewerage making it uncomfortable when travelling to and from our room
Also the room style was quite dated and the breakfast offering very poor standard.
Not a great deal to do round the property and no loungers were on the beach to even give choice to the client

This was a nice, clean hotel and the staff were very friendly. It was further out of Split than I realized, although the #60 Express Bus was good for getting back-and-forth and it was a good way to see the coastline and people living their lives.

The room itself was a bit hot at night and couldn’t leave the balcony door open because of mosqui

This little boutique hotel is just beautiful. Right on the beach at Podstrana, an easy 20 minute bus ride into Split from outside the front door! Breakfast was ok, the food in the restaurant was great and the staff could not have been more helpful!

Mi-figue, mi-raisin

Chambre d´hôtel décevante. Il y avait des fourmis dans la chambre, la première nuit nous avions de l´eau tiède, voire froide. Par contre le buffet du petit-déjeuner est très bon. Il se fait à l´hôtel qui est en face, vue sur la mer dans un cadre très agréable.

The location is absolutely fantastic. It's right on beach and the hotel has It's own cafe/restaurant on the waterfront. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Overall, we were very satisfied with our hotel stay here.

Our stay here was really nice I’d absolutely consider it again! However I think it’s better for a few days base to stay and explore the wider area rather than a resort to stay at for a week or more and not planning on journeying far. The spot is lovely! Right on the beach, but there’s not a great deal nearby in terms of bars and restaurants outside of the hotels own, a shop and a cash point and that’s it, but an Uber into split is only £8 or so and we were out on trips everyday so perfect for us! Service at checkin was great, excellent breakfast and beds made/fresh towels daily. The ONLY slight change I’d make was the old fashioned shag pile carpet in our room! Grosss... but other than that it was a really lovely place to stay! Be aware you’re in an annexe building of “Hotel San Antonio.” But it’s just fine, no need for that to put you off.

Great location on the beach. Family room had everything we needed. Buffet breakfast had good choice of food and was plentiful. Hotel is in a suburb of Split, around 20 minutes drive from the centre so most suitable for beach rather than sightseeing.

Nice hotel. Close to the beach.

Had an enjoyable time at this hotel with my husband. The room was very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Any problems were attended promptly and professionally. There are however a few things that needs changing. The room needs some maintenance(a crack in the wall and chipped madonary around the bathroom door) and the shag pile carpet needs changing to something more modern. Do these things and you'll have perfection.

Good beach hotel

Cute little hotel with its own private beach, however little disappointed that the indoor pool was close due to the season. We didn't eat in the restaurant purely because of reviews online and there is no menu. We were told by reception that the waiter would offer us food. And there is no choice. However, breakfast was fantastic and had alot of variety.

Mini bar did not worked, they promised me to send someone to fix, never hapened. Black mold in bathtub, very expensive beach equipment.

Pleasant hotel, close to the beach

Lovely hotel, right by the beach in a small village just outside the main town of Split.
Staff are nice, helpful and accommodating. The restaurant was served lovely food and the breakfast in particular was excellent.
Some little quirks that need to be sorted out, tv wasn't working and the some of the equipment in the gym was broken, but this didn't take away from our overall enjoyment.
Split is only 20 minutes away from bus, that stops right outside the hotel.
Overall, a hotel worth going to to get away from the hustle of Split, but still be able to get there easily. Right by the beach which made for lazily days in the sun.

everything was really good, especially how they welcomed on the first day, and also throughout our stay. only the last day, when we were checking out, the lady Vanja, was not nice at the beginning. but it was ok, just 1 person should not change my perspective.

Like a motel rather than a hotel

The treadment is big different if you walk-in can open to choice the room with seaview, while just offer G/F or 1st/F for per-booked customers. Moreover the room condition and location is much poorer than accepted or expected.

Not worth the price

Room was advertised as having a sea/beach view. All we had was a view of another hotel (the Hotel San Antonio), which sits between the Hotel Gala and the sea. I don't see how anyone in Hotel Gala could have a sea view unless they were on the top floor and could really crane their neck.

The room was okay, but cramped with the sofa bed opened up. The hotel seemed relatively new, but not well maintained. There were big scrapes on the wall (presumably from suitcases that could not be squeezed past the end of the bed) and mould in the shower.

The one plus was the wireless connection, which worked very well in the room.

All in all I could not recommend this hotel.

Ett fyrstjärnigt hotell men snarare som en tvåa!

Hotellrummet var det inget större fel på än att rummet var lite litet. Dock saknades det handdukar när vi fick rummet och även en annan dag så vi fick säga till. Korten för att komma in i vår annex-byggnad och på rummet slutade fungera efter 1 dag bara och så fortsatte det hela veckan (även när vi fått nya). Det var ett moment som störde oss. Frukostbuffén var riktigt dålig tyvärr. Inga alternativ förutom vitt bröd och sötsaker generellt. Baconet var kokt?! Och inte stekt. Hotellet tog betalt för parasoll för sina egna gäster (men inga solstolarna). Restaurangen på hotellet åt vi på en gång och maten var riktigt dålig och absolut inte värt pengarna.
Men är man ingen foodie och inte bryr sig så mycket så var det bra läge på hotellet precis vid vattnet. Servicemässigt var de varken trevliga eller otrevliga men det stod att det var er fyrstjärnigt hotell men det var mer som en tvåa!!

Kamer was opzich prima maar de koelkast en airconditioning werkte niet. Ontbijt was niet erg bijzonder, wel mooi uitzicht tijdens het ontbijt. Bushalte en bakkerij op loopafstand. Voor kort verblijf ok hotel.

Please invest in proper room keys and a bit faster refilling in breakfast foods would be great.

Ensimmäinen saamamme huone alaarvoisen epäsiisti, useampi asia rikki, toisessa huoneessa jo taso hieman parempi mutta kokolattiamatot eivät kuulu 2020 luvulle.

Omistaja/omistajat selvästi haluavat säästää rahaa h, mikä näkyy kuluneina pyyhkeinä, annetaan ovien olla rikki, ei korjata lukkoja. Jopa allaspyyhkeistä pitää maksaa 5 euroa kpl mikä on täysin naurettavaa. Uimaaltaalla ei ole pukeutimistilaa eikä huoneissa kylpytakkeja. Alakerrassa henkilökunta tupakoi sisätiloissa, joka haisee käytävillä hyvin voimakkaasti, lisäksi voimakas viemärin tuoksu.

Yövuoron vastaanoton pojan voisi kouluttaa asiakaspalveluun, nyt todella välinpitämätön & ylimielinen suhtautuminen kaikkeen. Vastaanoton tytöt sen sijaan hoitivat työnsä kiitettävästi. Aamupalan ja ravintolan henkilökunta ystävällistä.

L'hotel Gala è in realtà la depandance dell'hotel San Antonio che guarda il mare mentre il Gala è situato tra il San Antonio e la strada. Quindi le foto che vedete della struttura sono del San Antonio. Il check in si fa quindi all'hotel Antonio . Quando si entra nell'ingresso dell'hotel Gala si stente una forte puzza che ho scoperto essere legata agli odori della lavanderia sottostante all'hotel.
Fuori dall'hotel grande disordine e sporcizia. Aprendo la finestra si trovano cose buttate dell'hotel come se fosse una discarica.
La camera , sebbene spaziosa, aveva il terzo letto in un divano letto che occupava tutto lo spazio di manovra ed aveva un divano distrutto , con doghe rotte e con impossibilità di dormire dal lato dell'apertura.
Una finestra tutta rovinata è coperta da una tenda e alcune tende sono anche bucate (non certo da 4 stelle).
La piscina all'ultimo piano del San Antonio è \"dismessa\" . Tutto disordine, puzza e sporcizia ovunque.
Colazione sufficiente .
Unico punto positivo è stata la gentilezza nel check in da parte del ragazzo che parlava italiano.
Per il resto non ho potuto cambiare hotel perchè nella zona erano tutti pieni ma certamente non lo consiglierei a meno che non venga ristrutturato.

Varning!

Detta känns meningslöst men jag hoppas att jag kanske kan rädda nästa familjs semester. Hotellet är inte 4 stjärnor. Väldigt smutsigt och inte alls bra standard på hotell, mat eller annat. Stranden är fantastiskt och det finns massa bra aktiviteter och restauranger. Åk gärna hit men bo någonstans.

My stay was for 6 days. i have very good experience in terms of service. The location is perfect around 10km from Split city centre. You can use uber it is like 7 to 8 euro or a Public transport which is just outside the hotel gate it will cost u around 3 euro. The best part of the Hotel is the sunset with a glass of wine next to the sea. Very delicious pizza at the hotel.

Todella ystävällinen henkilökunta. Kaikki toimi viimeisen päälle. Bussilla pääsi Splittiin helposti 4 kertaa tunnissa. Aamupala ei kovin ihmeellinen, muta sillä pärjäsi. Oma ranta pieni, mutta ihana.

Läget var inte att klaga på däremot avloppslukten (som även någon annan skrivit om) i trapphuset. Städningen var inte helt hundra, egendomliga heltäckningsmattor där man kunde fynda lite av varje, duschar som läckte (inte bara vår). Frukostbuffén ok men en otroligt långsam kaffeautomat där det blev kö. Annars hade vi det bra, härligt med stranden alldeles intill och 20-25 med buss in till Split.

Helt greit. Ok personale, noen var utrolig hyggelige og veldig hjelpsomme. Andre helt ok. Rengjøring, dvs reie opp senger og ta med søppel hver dag, var så som så.....Hotellet var rolig og fint, men det det lå såpass fra sentrum at vi måtte ta buss. Fin og god strand, gratis solsenger :)

Hotel bueno, restaurante desastroso

El hotel está muy bien, sobre todo si vas de paso de Split y no tienes intención de moverte durante esa noche, porque de lo contrario no está bien situado. La atención de las chicas de recepción excelente, pero el restaurante, un autentico desastre y más para ser de 4 estrellas. Tardaron hora y media en llevarnos una ensalada y una pizza y se les olvidó el aliño. Eso sí, para cobrar sí que fueron rapidísimos.

Ik vond het tegenvallen tov plaatjes internet.De eerste kamer was klein op ons verzoek kregen we gelukkig een grotere kamer.Het ontbijt was goed.Het restaurant was niet om naar huis te schrijven, gelukkig dat in de buurt goede restaurants waren.De ligging is goed direkt aan strand!!

Mysigt ställe med mycket bra service

Trevlig personal som gärna hjälpte till med allt vi bad om så som transfer från flygplats, hyra bil, boka massage, taxi till Split, bagageförvaring osv. Se dock till att ha med snabbkaffe då det som serverades vid, den annars jättebra frukosten, var uruselt på alla sätt och vis. Mysigt ställe om man vill komma bort från fest och liv men på tok för lite att göra i området.
