What I liked was they brought us fruit or pastries every morning. What I didn't like was that they didnt tell us that they were upgrading us to a room with a kitchen although we would have been happy with the room that we ordered, seaview room. So, because of that, when we got there she surprised us with a charge of €100 and it had to be in cash. I only had €60 in cash so she took the last of my cash. I told her she needs to warn people if they need to bring cash for deposits. Then on the last day the restaurant wanted €20 for a buffet breakfast and when we mentioned it to the front desk she said \"we would have given you a voucher for €15\". No mention of that on check in. We ended up going to the bakery across the street and getting a croissant (cash only) then bringing it back to the room and made coffee there. The restaurants in the area are ok. We liked the Olive Garden for dinner the one night but when we went back the next day for lunch we had a different server and it wasn't so good. The restaurant associated with the hotel was also good at dinner but when we went there the one time for lunch, the server didn't know what a mimosa was. So instead of asking me or the bartender, he just chose not to bring me anything. Haha. If you want to take this hotel's shuttle to the airport, it's a €50 charge and is basically a car and driver. The rooms were very clean. Overall, if you are not dependant on being able to walk places it's a nice place to stay.

Fantastic

Wow - what a beautiful room. We were concerned it looked too good to be true, but the view from the hot tub really is that perfect. Couldn't be closer to the beach, and the room was very comfortable - the terrace is stunning. Great value, and we couldn't have asked for a friendlier welcome: all the staff are fantastic and went out of their way to make sure we were happy with our stay.

Great facility, great location, no restaurant

Biggest disappointment is realizing this hotel does not have restaurant, and breakfast can be purchased at nearby hotel for 12 euro for adults and kids both. This if find rather expensive for Croatia. However, stay was very pleasant, weather even too hot, but this is normal for August. Stobrec road is always blocked, so count 15-45 minute stalls if traveling in Split direction.

Small and friendly hotel right next to beach

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Beach. It is situated right next to the beach and provides sun loungers. The room was clean and was serviced every day. Very modern, great shower, air conditioning worked well. The breakfast was included in the rate and was provided in the hotel next door which was less than a minute's walk away. Good breakfast.
There was a bus stop very close to the hotel from which you could take a bus to Split, every half hour or to Omis in the other direction.
There was also somewhere close by where we could take a trip out to the beautiful islands so we did not have to go into Split to catch the boat.
Unfortunately British Airways lost our luggage and we were without it the whole week (BA have found it now we are home again and still not returned it to us 12 days later but thats another story!). The hotel staff were very sympathetic and even kindly lent us a phone charger/adaptor to use while we were there as this was something we had packed in our suitcase.

Beach view was great. Room was not comfortable and shower was awkward handheld. Parking not guaranteed and staff not available all hours or even during posted times. Had to eat at hotel next door which seemed much nicer.

They don't accept credit cards, you have to pay cash (in 2016), the reception is suppose to be open from 7am-2pm only; we stopped there while on business trip, had to leave early and were waiting for staff to appear only at 7:35! we had to pay additional tax and the lady could not give us any proof of payment, not even a single printout confirming we payed the city tax.

Lovely hotel in its own slice of paradise

A wonderful little hotel right on its own little stretch of beach. The staff were incredibly friendly and always went out of their way to help us however they could. We were slightly worried about being further out from Split, but buses were so frequent and hardly took any time at all. The room was very modern and clean, the only downside being that the double bed had two single mattresses on it! Apart from this though it really was perfect and we will definitely be going back.

Comfortable hotel right on the beach.

Spent a week at this hotel. It is very well located on the beach and walking distance from a marina with a couple of excellent restaurants, and a cheaper one very close. Great views from the room balcony over the Adriatic. It was almost closed season when I stayed so not much activity around the hotel so it was nice and quiet. I suspect it would be very different in high season! Close to a bus stop for travel into Split. Buses are every 30 mins and cost 13 kuna.

Terrible hotel

Flight was from heathrow to zagreb with a 7hour stop over, then to split. I thought there will be accomedation until my 2nd flight. Instead had to wait in airport 7hours When i got to split my hotel was not close and ended up spending 50 euros in taxi. When i got to the hotel staff was friendly but room was poor. There was a terrible smell from the bathroom. I was meant to have a double bed, instead i had two single beds. Breakfast included was horrible. The bath tub has a jacuzi, but when i used it as the water got past the air bubbles it was not clean so my bath was filled with dirt, wich i did not notice while in the bath as there was loads of bubbles. Only thing good was i had a room that takes me direct to the beach wich was nice. Other then that a huge no.

Great position, don't be put off access. Organised my own taxi from Split airport he didn't have a clue where it was, luckily had my own bike sat nav.
Very helpful staff made our stay a joy.

Great location right on the beach. 20 mins Bus ride to Split Old Town. Grocery Store 200m Walk. Not much else around so if your looking just to chill out for a few days it is a great location. Free WiFi and TV

Small hotel right on the beach

We had a lovely stay. Our room was a small suite with double bedroom and huge balcony facing the sea. Within 2 minutes walk we were on the beach which was a white pebbles beach and very clean.
All staff in the hotel did their upmost to make our stay with them nice. Breakfast was serviced at the hotel next door and there were many lovely restaurants to eat out at near by.

Lovely hotel, directly on the beach, staff were friendly and very helpful. Would have liked a sea view, but not a deal-breaker. Breakfast was good, but dinner was average - but close to other restaurants.

Very good hotel and (on balance) a good location

A relaxing week in a very pleasant hotel, with the beach right outside the door and reasonable accessibility to a fabulous city.

Key thing to think about is location. Split city centre is a half hour bus ride (traffic can be heavy) and buses run every half hour. If the ancient (and really beautiful) city centre is really what you're there for, then stay in Split itself. If you don't care about seeing that, and just want the best possible beach, then there are probably some island locations that give you more idyllic beaches. But, if you want reasonable access to the city, and to lots of other places by bus, as well as a good-enough beach on the spot, then this is highly recommended.

Amazing stay!

I stayed at this hotel with my boyfriend for 3 nights at the end of our holiday in Croatia and had an amazing time. The staff are really friendly and went out of their way to help us if we needed anything. The location is amazing, the beach front is literally outside the front door. The amenities were also great - lovely pool, sauna, breakfast was delicious. The room was clean - although slightly small. Overall - great value for money and I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Perfect spot

I stayed at the Beach hotel in Podstana, about 15 minute car ride from Split. The hotel was right on the beach front and my room had a balcony, so I had the most amazing sea view. Lovely to wake up to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. My room was spacious with a couch and desk area, the balcony had a small table and 2 chairs. The bathroom was good size and the bath had air jets and was huge, so very relaxing soak in the evenings.

It cost me about £12 for a taxi into Split and about £35 for the Hotel transfer from Split airport to the Hotel.

The Hotel does not have its own facilities, however their sister hotel next door, San Antonio does. And it is literally next door, about 20 meters door to door, where breakfast is served.

I went before the main summer season, so it was very peaceful and relaxing. The staff were great, very helpful in recommending things to do and places to visit.

Definitely recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a relaxing break, away from the hustle and bustle of the main towns.

We arrived early and the staff was very helpful to try and get our room early for us. The pool and beach facilities are very nice and the food at the restaurant was delicious. The room was comfortable and clean, would definitely recommend.

Right on the beach!

We had a great stay here for one night before catching a flight back from Split the next morning. Very close to the airport (30 mins taxi journey, even in morning rush hour) and so super convenient. The beach was literally on the doorstep which was brilliant, and we enjoyed drinks at Antonio's watching the incredible sunset. Very quiet in May, we were almost the only ones on the beach in the afternoon on a Monday. Service in Antonio's restaurant was a little flaky, things we ordered were forgotten etc - but all made up for by cheerful service and prices not too bad (but cheaper in the restaurant further down the beach). Rooms clean and airy but small. Nice shower and lovely helpful reception staff! I recommend this place for anyone who just wants a good base to stay, near the beach and near the airport. Not much else in the area though apart from a supermarket.

I booked a park-view room for staying out of season in April. We arrived in the evening and got a lovely welcome from the lady on reception. She showed us the park-view room and also the sea-view room because it was not booked. I immediately decided to pay the extra EUR20 per night because the sea-view room was fabulous! It was large with a separate seating area and appointed to the highest of standards. It had a very private terrace leading to a small garden and having steps right out onto the beach. The bathroom was beautifully appointed in floor to ceiling marble and had a whirlpool bath. The only slight negative here was that is was only separated from the room by glass walls and a glass door. You wouldn't want to stay here with your aunt; it is only for couples. Even then, I found it slightly awkward knowing that I could hear my partner going about his toilet duties.
The breakfast is served immediately next door in the Hotel San Antonio. It really is no hardship going across to the next building to get your meals - it is literally just next door. Even at this out-of-season time there was plenty on offer at the breakfast and the staff were very attentive. We even ate in this restaurant one night during the stay; main courses were very reasonable priced indeed and the drinks were very good value too.
I chose Podstrana because of this hotel and I was not disappointed at all. It is a 30 minute bus ride into Split but the bus stop is immediat

Friendly staff great view

We had a sea view room on the first floor which was prefect for us. The room was spacious and comfortable. we had a balcony which was practically on the sea front and a view of the sea from the bed. The bathroom was lovely with a whirlpool bath but it was completely enclosed in glass walls meaning that from certain parts of the room you could see the person on the loo! Breakfast and the pool sauna etc is in the hotel next door but it was no trouble to get to as it's literally a matter of steps away. We enjoyed being in Podstrana rather than split and were not bothered by the 30 minute bus ride on the local bus when we wanted to go into split proper it was cheap and buses came every half hour. One thing I would say about the hotel was that it is tucked away off the road if we hadn't got an airport transfer I'm not sure we would have found it as it was not sign posted from the road. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel the facilities met our needs and the staff were friendly and helpful. If I were to return to the area I would happily return to Beach Hotel Split.

A nice hidden surprise

The hotel certainly lived up to it's billing. Right on the beach, decent resturant, great room and wonderful staff. Our compliments to Sonya on the recption desk. She was exceptionally helpfull even after my repeated questions, she really seemed to enjoy her position. And surprisingly enough, her offer to upgrade our room came at only a modest cost but a tremdous upgrade from not having to climb the stairs.. We were right on the beach, king size bed, large jacuzzi tub and a large room, especially for european standards. The only potential drawback of the stay was that the hotel was tucked in behind another building without any actual signs to point the way. I just got lucky to pull into the right parking lot and look around. Don't let that discourage you, just follow the GPS and turn in when it say so. Even if it doesn't look right, just go to the back of the parking lot and you will find them.

Hotel that is not really a hotel in its own right.

Unfortunately this hotel is not really a hotel in its own right . You check in and have breakfast at hotel next door which is the cause of all problems . Hotel impossible to find by car and if we hadn't had google maps we wouldn't have found it . NO signage on road at all. The reception staff at next door hotel were very slack and unorganizcarte breakfast was poor at next door hotel. We had dinner at next door hotel which we had to wait for over an hour whilst others were being served . No apology for lateness. We were also charged for bread we didn't order . Wouldn't reccoment to eat there. Beach hotel split is fine and I would reccoment it but it is let down by being managed by other hotel

There is a bus on the corner every half hour.

Has the makings of a lovely hotel but bits let it down (like stained carpets or a hanging socket in the bathroom). The swimming pool is fabulous, and has exceptional views. Freshly cleaned to a high standard each day, reception were very friendly and helpful when we wanted to go on various day trips ourselves. Hotel itself is a £15/10 minute taxi or £2/30 minute bus from Split itself, with a bus stop outside the hotel.
Negatives-vegetarian food is limited, but this is the same across the local area.

Wir hatten eine super Zeit hier! Als wir ankamen wurden uns Angeboten für einen kleinen Aufpreis, auf ein Zimmer mit Meerblick upzugraden , was wir zum Glück taten, den wir bekamen das Zimmer mit der riesen Terrasse und einem wunderschönen Ausblick auf's Meer und den Abendlichtern entlang der Küste. Es ist ein \"kleines\" schnuckeliges Hotel, alles war sauber und wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Die Betreiberin ist wirklich super lieb, nett und absolut herzlich. Ab und zu wurden wir mit kleinen süssen Backwaren auf unserem Zimmer überrascht, das empfanden wir als super liebe Geste.

In der nahen Umgebung gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt und einen Bäcker. Am Strand einige Bars an denen man gut essen kann. Unsere empfehlung geht an die Beach Bar Lungomare , im Vergleich wirklich günstig mit einer riesen Cocktailkarte, was wir Mädels super fanden .
Wir raten unbedingt dazu Badeschuhe mitzunehmen , den im Wasser steigt man nochmal über grosse Brocken bis man dann im tieferen Wasser gelandet ist, das wäre auch das einzige was uns nicht so gefallen hat, ansonsten waren wir mit allem zufrieden.

Kleiner Tipp wenn man nicht selber ein Auto mieten möchte, am besten einen Uber schon am abend vorher reservieren, leider gibt es zum Hotel nur eine Hauptstrasse die chronisch verstopft ist und wir hatten grosse Probleme dort Uberfahrer zu bekommen, da diese , die Strecke wohl sehr ungerne fahren. Ansonsten absolute empfehlung. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt.

Limpio, en buen estado, ya que está casi nuevo. La chica de recepción fue muy amable y nos dio buenos consejos para nuestra estancia. Está además directamente en la playa, con lo que tienes tranquilidad cuando vuelves de visitar otros lugares.

Godt hotel, sløv service

Hotellet ligger godt lige ved stranden og værelset er pænt og ordentligt med god aircon og de til prisen forventede produkter (badeværelsesartikler, kaffe etc). Vi boede med skøn terrasse med liggestole og loungesæt og vidunderlig udsigt. Men det var en dårlig oplevelse at skulle lægge et 100€ depositum i kontakter (uden varsel) fordi der var en jacuzzi på værelset. Med værelsesprisen in mente må det forventes, at der ikke er ekstra gebyrer. Hvis man driver hotel bør man ikke være så emsig over indholdet på værelset, at gæsterne belastes af det. Det føles lidt som om, hotellet for nylig er steget i pris men ikke har tilpasset serviceniveau derefter. Der er ikke 24/7 reception, og vi spurgte derfor dagen før afrejse, om vi kunne checke ud kl 8 næste morgen. Først ti minutter over otte ankom ejer/receptionist og sagde, at man gerne må bede om tidlig udtjekning, hvilket hun tilsyneladende havde glemt var nøjagtig, hvad vi havde gjort. Hun forklarede derefter sin forsinkelse, hvilket bare virkede uprofessionelt. Derefter skulle vi bruge ret lang tid på at hun skulle tjekke, om den - tilsyneladende meget kostbare - jacuzzi var i god stand, før vi kunne få vores depositum tilbage, hvilket forsinkede os yderligere. Derudover blev vi bedt om at forlade værelset på dag 2, så rengøringen kunne komme til. Igen alene hotellets behov, der kom i første række. Man bør nok ansætte en ekstra receptionist og rengøringspersonale, så disse ting kan klares hurtigere (rengøring tog over en time).

Nice stay with restaurants nearby

Nice stay at the rooftop apartment with the outside spa.

The beach is like most good beaches in Croatia with rocks and limited with sand.

Some restaurants are nearby and in walking distance, otherwise its a drive to old city of split.

We rented two rooms for our family. Booth the teenagers and the parents were very happy: Very good beds, very clean, the wifi was not bad, air-c was super and the hotel manager was outstanding. Good service at a high standard, cosy hotel. When coming back to Split this is the hotel.

Een leuk hotel met ruime kamer, jammer genoeg was het wifi bereik slecht. Het is wel handig om een auto te hebben ivm lokatie. Het zwembad, sauna, ontbijt doe je in het hotel er naast, op zich geen probleem en daar was de wifi wel goed :-)

Litet, pittoreskt familjehotell med hög standard mitt på stranden i Podstrana. Endast 10m till havet från terassen. Mycket trevlig och gästvänlig personal. Frukost i intill liggande hotell. Däremot mycket dåligt gym! Skriv inte att det finns gym när det är 16 kvm ock inga fria vikter. Endast 3 cardiomaskiner som var sönder. En multicable som var provisoriskt lagad. En Smith som var väldigt ranglig. Stort minus!

Bra läge men för dyrt.

Bra läge på hotellet vid stranden. Hyfsat rent och snyggt men de var inte snabba med att göra iordning rummen. Vårt blev städat först efter kl17. Rummen var ganska små trots att vi bokat för 4 personer.
Priset var i överkant för det man fick.

The view was limited by and hedge with flowers. The carpet needs to be renewed. Direct access to the beach. Min point the ashes of the pizza oven from the nearby hotel. Go to the restaurant Amigos very good and cheap. Nice staff. Very beautiful beach and view. Nearby Split and Omis take a boot into the canyon. Must go to the waterfalls at Krka. Nice place to view and see the rrest Yourself

Nice hotel with the sea next door

The hotel is in general very well fitted and clean. The staff is kind, helpful and speaks english. The sea view from the balcony is awesome. Breakfast buffet was in a hotel next door. The food is good and you can sit in a beautyful outhouse with sea view too. The hotel is in Podstrana, what is about 30 minutes by bus from Split downtown. For the way between hotel and Split airport i recommend a transfer service. There is a sandy beach in front of the hotel where you can get sunbeds for free. From Split you can do several kinds of day trips and activities. Shopping is possibile too. All in all it was a very well vacation.

Hotel med smuk beliggenhed.

Generelt godt hotel. Alle faciliteter findes på nabohotellet San Antonio. Meget trist og discount-agtig morgenbuffet. Restaurant på San Antonio kan ikke anbefales, men der er flere gode restauranter langs vandet. Uheldig tendens til at spærre liggestole ved stranden fra tidlig morgen. Det koster ca 150 DKK med taxa til Split, men kan tage relativt lang tid pga. trafik. Værelse med balkon er værd at betale for - fantastisk udsigt.

Mysigt hotell nära stranden. Rent o fräscht. Frukost serveras på hotellet bredvid, men inget som avskräcker alls.

Hyvä hotelli ja mahtava henkilökunta

Hotellin henkilökunta oli aivan mahtava ja heiltä kannattaa kysyä vinkkejä että missä kannattaa käydä jos vaikka sataa tai muutenki. Hotellilta pääsee splitiin bussilla joita menee puolen tunnin välein. Bussimatka maksaa 13 kunaa eli noin 2 euroa. Hotellin lähistöllä on pari ravintolaa mutta ei oikein muuta. Hotelli on ihan meren rannalla.

flott hotell i nærheten av strand,resturanter etc.

Opplevelsen var perfekt. Fikk det vi betalte for, i forhold til strand 10 meter fra hotellet, resturanter langs strandpromonaden. Minuset var at det kunne vært flere barer i området rundt vårt hotell der man kunne få sett Premier League.

Trevlig familjehotell

Drygt en mil utanför Split. Under högsäsong segar sig trafiken fram på landsvägen utanför. Hotellet är som ett annex till Hotel San Antonio där man fick frukost som var helt ok. Liten strand med vita stenar med solstolar som räckte till alla. Supertrevlig strand/Tikibar runt hörnet med billiga drinkar. Liten marina en kort promenad längs stranden med lite finare restauranger. Hotellets personal är supertrevliga och mycket serviceinriktade. Vi fick en flaska vin på min födelsedag.

Luksus på stranden

Perfekt beliggende i svært rolig og behagelige omgivelser omgitt av koselig og vel vitende betjening. Flotte rom med nydelig utsikt og rengjøringspersonalet som virkelig både gjør og kan jobben sin.

Mycket fint, fräscht och gemytligt hotell! Bra service. Låg en bit från split city, ca en kvart-tjugo min med buss/taxi men ofta trafik som dubblade den tiden.

Supertrevlig personal och grymt läge!

Jag och min pojkvän bodde här under vår resa och det var verkligen över förväntan! Personalen var så otroligt trevliga och pratglada och hjälpsamma. Det andra som verkligen var grymt var att hotellet i princip låg på stranden och man hade tillgång till gratis handdukar, solstolar samt parasoll. Skulle vi resa tillbaka till Podstrana så kommer vi definitivt att bo här!

2 lugna dagar i solen

Vi skulle ta 2 lugna dagar med band och sol och bar precis det vi fick. Trevlig personal. Det var ett perfekt stopp på ett par dagar men det räcker om man vill utforska mer. Fin strand och bra solstolar med helt okej mat på hotellet och frukosten var riktigt bra!
