Great hotel on a beautiful beach, the rooms are large and luxurious. From your room terrace you can swim, walk or take a buggy to the beach, bars or food stops which are all really good.

Highly recommend this resort. Lovely staff, super accommodating. Food was yummy and the resort in general was clean and well maintained. Some of the restaurants were on the more expensive side but that was expected. There’s a free shuttle if you’re also interested in visiting the local markets.

I stayed in Room 3208. I felt great thanks to the male staff who cleaned the room so thoroughly from the first day of my stay. If you can find it, please give me a compliment. Also, the pop welcomed us very warmly in the lobby when we arrived. It moved our luggage safely, and we met again when we accidentally asked for a buggy to go to the Olive Restaurant. It felt great to remember us at this time. And when we left, they watched us through the whole process while waiting for the taxi in the lobby after checking-out and even accompanied us with a safe ride in the taxi. Everything about Jw marriott was great, but especially thanks to the smile of all the staff, the comfortable wrap and decap, and especially the more memorable pop, I'm heading home with a good impression of Thailand. I'm currently preparing to leave Phuket Airport, and I'd really appreciate it if you could compliment both of them.

Far from anything but an excellent beach and the most amazing pool I have ever seen. A huge collection of lagoons canals and big pools plus kiddie pools. Our room had direct access to a chest high canal type pool which connected to the huge central pool. Lots of eating choices including inexpensive non-hotel Thai eateries adjacent to the beach. Very good breakfast buffet. A lot of walking because this is a huge property. Uncrowded and clean beach. The room was large attractive and clean though a bit dated. All in all the best Marriott I have ever stayed in and one of the best hotels.

Traveling solo is no easy feat . So when i choose the Marriott is forefront in my mind. A home away from home . All Of the the team from What ever department made you feel special and that you are the most important person in the world .
From the first moment upon arrival To the very second i left I had a magical experience.
The quality of the food was second to none and drift was a treat . Highly recommend this delightful wonderful property for a real treat !!!

Great property, it has everything you need. The layout makes it easy to get around and cater for both families and adults. Only advice is to ask for a villa with a balcony roof as some don't have one and it means you can't really sit outside in your villa.

This place is a dream. We’ve travelled a lot and this was the best place I have stayed in. The food is better than any other resort I’ve stayed in. Service was sensational. Pool access rooms were perfect for the family. After the first day staff were calling my son by his name and greeting him all over the hotel. Such a special piece of paradise.

I cannot put into words how beautiful this resort is and how perfect our stay was thanks to the beautiful staff and service provided. We received the upmost 5 star service everywhere we went around the resort. We had two small mishaps, however they were rectified immediately and the staff went out of the way to ensure we were happy. The facilities are absolutely gorgeous, the lagoon pool is what makes this resort stand out from anywhere else. Highly recommend the pool access room. We had a beautiful stay and cannot wait to be back. We will be regular guests forever!

The on-property farm and bike trail was a surprise, and super cool. Great beach. Local bar/restaurant next door was a delight. Property is a very cool deisgn, and will be great when Marriott completes renovation. Very good design. Typical, overpriced, but that is a marriott standard as always, lol... Still a great property, at a great beach, in a cool town, with super nice people.

we stayed last year for 3 weeks and chose to take 3 weeks again this year. this hotel has to be one of the best hotels in this price range in the whole world. everything is sublime. the whole area is fantastically well-maintained. the staff is extremely friendly. the restaurants are international world class. tennis, squash, fitness, kids room, the beach, their farm, cycle track, the fantastically beautiful pool, the many pool areas, magnificent breakfast buffet, show in the evening. I could go on. coming again!

We had such an incredible stay at JW Marriott Khao Lak. The staff and service was mostly amazing. We had an odd experience on 13th Oct night at Olive where the staff got our booking and orders wrong. It felt as if they were subpar service staff members compared to all the other experiences we had a JW Marriott. The hotel is mostly pram friendly which was great when walking around with our 1yo daughter. Overall we had such an incredible time and can't wait togo back!

Lovely resort with spacious rooms and large balconies. Plenty of pool options for swimming in this very large resort.
Grounds were very well kept. Staff were very professional, friendly and helpful.
A very relaxing and comfortable stay with the option of dining at local restaurants on either side of the resort boundaries.

Beautiful property with excellent landscaping..non stop entertainment for kids of all ages and back to back activities for adults too.. Wonderful and friendly staff ever willing to go out of the way to make guests comfortable.. special mention for Front office manager Mr Rashdan for making b day celebrations a memorable one.. Excellent food and wide range of stand alone cuisines too to add to the wonderful experience..Wish to come back soon!!

My wife and I spent 5 nights at JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa in April, 2024. The room and beach were great. The facility itself is enormous, far more so than I had realized when I booked our stay. It's a Marriott, so expect meals to be priced double (or triple) what you might pay at nearby (and far less fancy) restaurants; indeed, meals were priced a good bit higher than what we had paid at similar or nicer hotels in Seam Reap, Bangkok and Hanoi. Perhaps the absence of high end competition is the reason. In any event, the resort is somewhat isolated (1.25 hours from Phuket and 15 mins from the nearby town) and if you don't mind the scale of the property worth considering.

Excellent facilities, friendly staff who provided excellent service, clean, grounds were beautifully kept, food was delicious and having the voucher (full board) worked out good value. We stayed in block 7 with a swim up terrace which was perfect. Would highly recommend this place. We stayed for pur honeymoon and it was perfect for us.
Its not walkable to the town (only beach bars allng the beach) so it is remote, but they offer a paid shuttle service to town which we used twice.

This has been the greatest experience in a hotel for us.

We stayed in the hotel for 6 days and decided not to leave at all.
Spent all days in the hotel to enjoy all the dining options and experiences.

Staff at all the restaurants and even room service staff are highly trained and make you feel like a valued guest.

Well done to the management and the team as a whole.

This is an amazint resort, with modern renovated rooms, embedded in greenery and water channels. Staff is perfectly trained and polite, breakfast amazing and food excellent in general. And if you sometimes prefer a more budget way, there is a handy restaurant and massage next to the resort. Beach with a gentle slope, great for swimming. Not interesting however for snorkling.

This is a wonderful hotel with many amenities. The rooms are very comfortable and modern. The beach is superb, one of the few almost pristine ones left in Thailand. The only downside is the size: it’s a huge resort, with many people and quite a bit walking. On the upside, you get fantastic pools, great beach chairs, etc. Really great especially for families.

The choice and quality of dining was exceptional.

The kids club for the children was disappointing. Unfortunately the staff paid little attention to the kids resulting in the children becoming quickly bored and wanting to leave. The staff would then phone us to collect the kids because they were bored. We have never experienced such a boring and disappointing venue for children.

Eautiful porperty, situated ona stunning beachfront location, and one of the most amazing swimming pools I’ve ever seen. Winding its way though the hotel grounds past the rooms, like a cool blue green river surrounded by lovely lush foliage.
Breakfast buffet is exceptional - so many delicious choices. Staff very friendly and helpful . Amazing hotel in Khao Lak and reasonably close to shopping, eating, massages etc etc

Everything was amazing except for one night I ordered steak and after waiting for ever I received a cold piece of something that looked like steak i returned the meal and left the restaurant but was of course charged really not 5 star treatment

Great hotel but as our son had a birthday two weeks before arriving he was classed as an adult at 13. Bottom line is we were charged an extra £250 for exactly the same family room. Felt like a rip off and tainted our experience. As we have been to this hotel before we were a little sad they could not treat us better. Will think again next time.
