We had a lovely time at Le Sultan. We travelled with a toddler so it was a nice, low maintenance resort for us to relax and vacation at. The resort tries to provide a variety of activities for guests to choose from and the food was varied and had a decent selection -- but dinner time in particular can feel a little chaotic with all the guests trying to get food and find tables. We particularly liked the Mini Club activities and the evening disco for the kids. Mona and the staff running the Mini Club programming were very sweet with our daughter and our daughter loved singing and dancing at the evening disco with the other children.

Spent Memorial Day weekend with 16 in our group and Le Sultan staff couldn’t have been more accommodating! It was a wonderful 3 day mini paradise vacation. Hassan our beach server was great along with the 2 Sofians (indoor bar and outdoor bar) that kept our group happy and hydrated. Our favorite part was the outdoor activities. Samir and Hassine were great! All in all a fantastic trip. Our kids said, “Best vacation yet!”

A wonderful stay

An amazing hotel that we all loved! Beautiful rooms, pools and beach area, delicious food every morning and evening in the buffet, quite near the town in a seven minute taxi ride or about an hour away on foot. We received great service from all staff members.
We would gladly return!

Very lovely hotel with tons of activities. I went paddle boarding, on jet-ski and listened to live music. The food was delicious on full board. The sea view is totally worth the price. The staff was all wonderful. The room ambiance is excellent, clean and had enough space. Overall this was an amazing place to stay.

This was my first visit to Hammamet, and ChatGPT suggested Hotel Sultan for me and my mother. After my father's passing, we needed a place to spend Eid and relax, and we were very happy with our stay. The hotel was clean and offered a variety of food options. The staff were the heart of the hotel; all of them were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Special mentions to Mondher, Bassem, Mounir, Mohamed, Mourad, Ali, Nina, Simo, and Haykel for their exceptional service. We felt at home, especially during the Eid BBQ and nightly entertainment with the piano player, magician, and artist. We never felt lonely here. My only wish is that the shuttle from the airport was truly free and included in the hotel price. Other than that, a big thank you, and your staff deserves a bonus!

This is my 4th time visiting this hotel. I have been here with my family, and the kids absolutely love the pool, the beach activities, and the games offered by the pool. I have been here for a girls weekend, and we enjoyed the beautiful beach and the different water activities. Hassine, the person in charge of the beach/water activities is the BEST! The food and drink is very tasty and the service is 10 out of 10. I recently came alone to spend a few days to recharge and relax. It was a wonderful stay. I will continue to return to this hotel.

To begin with, the hotel needs to realize that we are not in 1980's anymore. Everything was so old and deteriorated. The beach had no chaise long seats enough and it was far away from the good spots. the beach towels had to be reserved for a deposit amount which was silly.
The AC in the room was not functioning even though we called the reception 3 times and no one showed up to fix it and we had to spend the night in an unpleasant way.

For sure we are not coming back and certainly wont be recommending the hotel to anyone.
It's sad really.

I stayed in the hotel with my family with two nights.
This was not my first stay in this property. I liked it the first time and decided to come back.
It was as enjoyable as the last time except that the restaurant was very crowded. No blame because this was a school holidays week.
Food is good an various. We didn't like that we were refused to take breakfast in the terrasse as it was entirely reserved for trainees.

I enjoyed the cleanliness and attention to detail by several employees. However I do think it may be a good idea to move the towel rack to a place so that it does not get soaked every time you turn on the shower. The staff were also able to help me with my requests and I deeply appreciate that!

An excellent hotel except for one issue!

I have had a six night stay with my family. We have all enjoyed our stay. The Staff were very helpful, particularly at the Hotel reception (Will mention Al Asmer in particular) and at the Restaurant.
Our only disappointment with the hotel was the unfair and discriminating rule of not allowing ladies wearing Islamic swimming suites from using the swimming pool. My wife and my two daughter were deprived from the enjoying the pool throughout our hotel stay. As a senior doctor, I find the use of hygiene as an excuse is unfounded. In fact, the risk of transmission of some diseases like skin conditions is higher with larger parts of skin being exposed to the water of the pool!. Moreover, I find this a major discriminating act against Muslims in a Muslim country!

Lots of grass which helps keep everything cooler. European elegance from wait staff. Everything close by. Most staff speak English French and German. Japanese restaurant was quite good. Inside is non smoking but outside is smoking. Excellent views of Mediterranean with gentle soothing breezes. Close by to downtown Hammamet. Lots of excellent tours from hotels to see rich history.

The superb Le Sultan

We love this hotel which should be 5*. Staff are perfect, food is super and the prices are low. It’s as good as that.
Lots of activities for adults and kids alike. Horse riding tennis boules swimming (inside and out). Didn’t pay for any of it.
We don’t have any complaints except I put on weight. There isn’t Bbc tv, but you will never have the time to turn it on!

Really enjoyed my stay at Sentido, the indoor pool and Jacuzzi were amazing. Went to the spa for a massage three times as the prices were really good. There is not much around, so would recommend half board. But very easy to get around and Taxis are very cheap. The breakfast and dinner were fantastic. Definitely recommend. Would have liked for reception to actually explain how everything works and where everything is. Had to ask reception how to log on to the wifi and how to call them from the room, normally they should tell you this at check-in. The hotel organised trips as well I would definitely recommend the camel riding.

Right on the beach! Lovely resort hotel with excellent selection of choices for dinner. Very clean and spacious rooms and bathrooms. Room service available. Lovely looking outdoor pool (just 1) but is not heated so too cold to swim in January and February! Spa with a good selection of services but some walls in the spa are peeling which is of course off putting.
Very thoughtful staff. Granted me a late checkout and answered my questions and helped me to embark on memorable tours. Special shout out to Lasmar and Mounir. WiFi available in rooms but patchy. Hotel far from the town of Hammamet

Good return trip to the area. I was pleasantly surprised to have an electric water kettle, tea, and coffee in the room. I would have brought a pour over kit and my own coffee, if I'd known. Breakfast was amazing. I especially loved the 115v outlet for shavers on the dryer. It works for charging 110v devices directly. Great toiletries. No complaints.

Nice place with bad beach

The overall impression of the hotel - it's nice. Personnel is very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are big and clean. WiFi could have been better, especially in the evenings. What really upsets is the condition of the beach. It not that big but even that small beach was very dirty with trash all over the place.

A very nice clean beach hotel with amazing stuff. It's one of those places you want to come back. Perfect for families or group of friends. Entertainment every single night in the hotel. You can choose to do plenty of activities during the day. Great food, buffet breakfast and dinner were amazing with a lot of different things to try and choose. Stuff very helpful and always present. I'd definitively recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to rest and chill enjoying their all inclusive holiday with great view of the sea

Another great stay!

This is our 2nd time staying here and we returned because we like the location, service, and cleanliness. There are tjings to do on-site (pool table, mini putt, archery, etc... So that's nice. It's right on the beach! Its in a quiet little corner and the service has always been great! Friendly check-in, gave us a late checkout. Housekeeping does a good job! Room always clean when we arrive and even when we have our DND on the door, if housekeeping sees us in the hallway they'll always ask if we want to at least change towels and get more coffee or toilet paper. These little things make all the difference! We will be back!

Background: I am a Tunisian living overseas and was trying out hotels looking for nice places to use when bringing my friends or in-laws to Tunisia
A local friend recommended me this hotel so I went for 3 nights
First impression: it looked very old and not well maintained (especially the rooms ...)
Second thing that shocked me was the Flies (insects) around the pool... you could not stay for 30 secs without flies getting all over you...that was disgusting
The service around the pool also was extremely slow... you need to remind the server a couple of times before getting your drink
The Cocktails we order around the pool were extremely bad too; it was too strong in alcohol and with no taste... we wanted to have some nice drinks and not to just get wasted...
The Wi-Fi was disconnecting every 10mn (it was not working half of the time actually)
But in my whole stay, the thing that shocked me and disappointed me the most was the Breakfast... the quality of the food was very disappointing (even the omelet tasted bad...the coffee was also horrible on both coffee machines...) and the way the food looked and was presented was not appealing at all...
I went to buy Sunscreen and I was also surprised to see the way the salesperson in the hotel shop was dressed (open shirt with a gold neckless...) it would look more professional to have the person wearing a uniform
I was very disappointed and will not take my in-laws there, but I have to say, it was indeed cheap... and the sea was nice

Overall was good. Only hick was dinner at the end of ramadan, was crowded, totally out of control. Hotel didn't plan for it and it was a disaster. This hotel is only good when it's not full, otherwise, it becomes 3 stars and you regret your stay. They're not good at managing capacity for sure. Other than that, everything was very good, food in general, breakfast so so, room pretty decent, not the best but OK and the beach is fabulous as well as the location.

We visited this hotel out of season. Even though the hotel was relatively empty and running on skeleton staff, everything was done immaculately. The food was as good as any in Tunisia. The staff was always ready to go the extra mile and the front desk was very informative and helpful.

Warning!!!! Stay away from the Le Sultan!!!!

Small unclean room, twin bed for newly wedded couples, unfriendly staff, they argued regarding extra pillows and towels, they had to work on fixing AC multiple times, very limited breakfast buffet items, and price was a bit cheaper than it's next door neighbor (The Badira) which was a true 5 star hotel. I would never recommend Le Sultan to any family or friends.

This is an excellent hotel by Tunisian standard, quite expensive though but worth it. Very clean room and excellent beach if u dont mind the 80 meters walk to it. Restaurent staff a bit rude, and hardly smile. Food is above average but no wow there. There is not much around that is walkable.

Amazing Hotel with a Beautiful Beach and Sea View

We stayed at Sentido Le Sultan for our second anniversary. It was lovely. We upgraded to a sea view room and opted for full board. The hotel was very clean and elegant. The food was abundant and delicious. The indoor pool was perfect as the water outside was a little chilly and it rained a little. We love Hammamet!

A little disapointing

This was an average Tunisian Hotel and based on the many Fabulous ratings by previous guests was a bit of a disappointment. Maintenance is needed in many areas, no alcohol served in the dining room, Food selection was limited and repetitive. Room cleaning was late afternoon and Water & Coffee in the room was not replaced daily.

Nice beach hotel

I stayed 5 nights at this Hotel. The Hotel staff is the hall mark of this hotel. They are courteous and very attentive to your demands. It is a great deal if you buy a bundle airline ticket with hotel stay. Full board (no water/drinks included at lunch and dinner) is different from all-inclusive that's not available on Expedia. Some Europeans tour operators negotiated all-inclusive. Fitness room is worthless. Better work out by swimming, snorkeling, wind surfing, sailing or contracting for deep dives with nearby Badira Hotel Odysea Club. Tunisian food variety is great at the all you can eat restaurant. The Hotel capacity is 600 but at 450 to 500 felt a bit crowded for folks looking for a quiet stay. The location of the beach is great as it has a commandeering view of the North Hammamet bay view. The beach is not wide but you can find space on the section of the Hotel beach after Plaza beach Hotel.

Nice hotel on the beach with friendly staff

Hotel has good amenities, clean rooms and bathrooms. It has a very nice, clean beach with reasonable size small and large pools. We found it ideal for families with younger kids. There is pool entertainment and evening shows for kids, the right dose to get them ready for bed. Got a full package with all three meals in hotel. We were not disappointed in the quality, variety and availability of food.
Staff was very friendly and responsive to most of our questions and needs. We felt everyone is doing their best to make us feel comfortable and happy. The only exception was when we had to call multiple times to convince staff that we need additional towels, something we took for granted.
The location is ideal for guests looking for a calm stay on the beach. You need to take a ride or drive to go to downtown or entertainment districts. There are some restaurants around, but we did not feel the need to go out of the hotel during our stay.
I needed to use the Wifi for some work and it was not that great. The good news is that I did not have to use it for an extended amount of time.

Very nice hotel overall but a few minor drawbacks

Overall the hotel was very good with an abundance of entertainments and amenities on site that myself and my partner enjoyed on our holiday.
The good bits:
- Hotel reception was fantastic being able to accommodate our very late arrival and also provide us with a light meal after midnight and a long day spent on planes
- The hotel facilities were outstanding with a private beach area, scuba diving center, spa and horse riding stables all on site meaning that we didn't even need to leave if we didn't want to
- The staff in general were very good always enthusiastic and willing to help
- General location was amazing right on the waterfront and away from large crowds and noise

The not so good bits
- As most of the hotel was all inclusive many of the staff also assumed we were too (myself and my partner were half board). This caused several confusions when billing us for drinks and staff sometimes seemed like we were an inconvenience as they had to do extra work to charge us correctly
- The beds in the rooms were very hard and uncomfortable and despite requesting a double bed we received two singles
- Not really a criticism of the hotel but something to be aware of - the hotel and the surrounding area leaves very little else to do apart from stay in the hotel. Myself and my partner spent a day exploring the surrounds to find there wasn't much to see at all - definatley a lying in the sun/beach holiday destination!

Lovely hotel, very friendly staff, lovely beach.

First time to Tunisia so a bit apprehensive travelling with two daughters. The staff made us feel extremely welcome, especially our waiter Rachid N, who went over and above to provide a five star service.
The food, overall service, pool, wide range of all day activities, including an on site riding school and ménage, the beach, hotel room and the low prices were brilliant.
We had a fabulous holiday and would highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful and well maintained hotel. Clean and modern interior. Lots of facilities, particularly enjoyed the cafe maure. Only thing I would say could be better was the daily cleaning of the room. First when we checked in they give us very small room no privacy after we complain they changed it for us with the room AC not working I stayed 8 days with the AC not working. I complain everyday, no action. The food is so bad and 8 days the same food. The front desk employee not friendly at all. It was worth hotel ever.

We stayed at Sentido Le Sultan for 6 nights. A family with three children. This hotel is good value for money. Has the all inclusive option. We took breakfast only. Which we thought had limited options for little children.

Staff are very good. The entertainment in evening we really enjoyed.

The only bad point is that the family rooms have 2 single and 2 single beds joint together. And at the slightest movement they move away. Which we did not like as we had asked for 1 double and 2 singles. But overall a value for money hotel. You get what you paid for.

Good stay

Close to the beach, nice pool, clean with lots of activities for children. My son loved it and that means I was able to enjoy my beers every day in peace.

Great hotel

We arrived close to midnight with tired and hungry children, the check-in process was quick and our luggage was taken up to the room for us. Even though it was so late they opened the kitchen and served us salad, cakes and fruit. During the day the buffet was great, there were always a variety of dishes available including pizza and chips for the kids. The desserts were my personal favourite. The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us, we were never hassled for tips which I have heard happens in some other hotels. The kids club was absolutely amazing! There was so much on ever day including pottery, arts, crafts and sports including pool games. There was even a kids dance routine on one evening. The room was good too, clean and made well every day. The only point I will make here is that the website mentions that an iron and ironing board are available on request, when we asked in the hotel we were told this is not the case, which was a little disappointing. Other than that small point it was a truly lovely stay at the Le Sultan hotel and I would recommend it to all.

Excellent resort-style hotel at a great location

A very nice hotel with excellent amenities, located virtually at the Mediterranean. The beach was excellent for watching the sun rising and setting, and to soak in the fresh sea air. The compound was well-tended which gave a very good impression of the whole place.

Best Hotel I've Stayed In

I could not imagine a better Tunisian experience. It is a wonderful hotel that I would recommend for couples, families and friends wishing to go to paradise. My fiance and i enjoyed archery, tennis, walks on the beach, bowling, picturesque gardens and pools, horses and huge delicious buffets. Do not think twice. Just go. We hope to visit Le Sultan every year.

Very good value of money

Stayed there in end Sep for 2 nights. Really loved it (in fact we felt it was one of the best throughout our travel in Tunisia (stayed in 6 hotels and 1 camp).

The hotel was renovated so everything was new, clean and MODERN. Yes, they have in-room WIFI (no longer need to go to the reception if you want to check your frd's msg before your sleep), in-room safes, computer door locks and flatscreen LCD TV. The aircon, hot water pressure were all faultless.

Food quality was good enough... there was even a japanese restaurant you could try if you get bored with the buffet food.

I guess if you stay longer then there are some drawbacks you have to consider:
1) location was in north hammamet so it was nowhere near yasmine hammamet and hammamet sud though a cab can take you there easily
2) beach was not easily assessible... you had to walk down and walk for a few min over some \"uneven grounds\" before you reach the beach. The beach was very long and narrow so it might not be the best beaches around.

I think besides these 2 points (which did not bother me), I find the hotel almost faultless and at this price I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to go there.

Beautiful hotel.

Lovely hotel and beautifully clean, wish we had asked for a double mattress we got 2 singles and the bed is on wheels!! Everything was perfect, only 1 niggle 5 TDN for a bottle of water is a bit steep.

Relaxing spot by the beach

My stay was relaxing and enjoyable. My room was clean and comfortable. The food was good especially in the snack bar! The beach was the best part of my stay. The water was clean and beautiful. I wish the cleaning ladies would make less noise in the hallway in the morning. They were pretty loud. On the last day of my stay, there was a bad smell coming from the sewage water canals of the neighboring note \"Palm Beach\". The beach staff was very kind to remove my parasol and replant it in a further spot where the smell was less bothersome. Overall, it is a good hotel with serious management and good service.

The hotel has been nicely updated. When we arrived we were greeted very promptly and given a cold towel and a refreshing drink. When we arrived in our room, a maintenance worker was doing work and the room had not been cleaned. We called and the cleaner was there within a few minutes and cleaned everything. The rooms are great with a wonderful balcony and view on the sea and pool area. The downside is twin beds instead of a double when we had specifically asked for one. As we were only staying one night and had already called down about the cleanliness, we made do. The one fault was the toilet flush. I had to use my foot every time to flush the toilet as the lever was very hard to push. This needs to be fixed as it was a great inconvenience. Overall a very nice hotel and a relaxing stay.

Like the title says, the hotel was nice and compared to other hotels in Hammamet the staff gave a very good service.i can definately recommend Le Sultan
