With regards to room amenities definitely not a 4 star. No kettle , slippers, ironing board and room outdated. Limited options during low season, food was average too.
Staff was excellent & very helpful.
Not much around the area just a few basic shops /cafes.
Not an issue for most people but I would recommend providing a prayer area that people can use after check out.
Overall stay : Average

Don't book this hotel ! Food is terrible, cleanliness and food hygeine appalling, 5 days out of 7 someone defecated in the pool and it was then closed and the gym is a death trap. Entertainment team constantly hounding you throughout the day to go to their very mediocre evening entertainment Sort it out Phenicia - just appalling

Absolutely outstanding, the staff are so welcoming they go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. The animation team are fabulous. I will recommend this hotel to anyone, in fact we plan to go a May with a group of family and friends. It’s couples and family oriented.

Just returned from a week stay at this hotel.

The rooms are okay but just note that the AC does not work and bathrooms are dated.

Food options (especially if you are vegetarian) is limited. The omelette man at breakfast is a great guy!

Beach is beautiful and security is very high. However, when security is off duty (approx 9pm-7am) there are a pack of intimidating dogs that roam the beach. They constantly howl and bark at you.

There is a custom of tipping and depending on how much you tip, you will get treated like royalty which was nice :)

GREAT FAMILY HOTEL

The hotel was excellent, very friendly staff and I was made to feel welcome on arrival having checked in online. My room was available straight away having arrived at 12:30pm. The room was very spacious and looked out onto the well maintained gardens. The animation team which included Mimi, Timo and Mario to name a few were very friendly and inclusive and the entertainment programme is the best that I have experienced. The hotel has a lot to offer for all ages, is well laid out with very good food and drink.

Gorgeous hotel .. definitely go back

We visited this hotel in early season and they were still adding some final touches to the hotel during our time there. However this was minimal and made no difference to our stay in this beautiful hotel with great staff beautiful surroundings and delicious food. The entertainment staff were fun, attentive and encouraging to all to take part. They also gave great evening entertainment as well as during the daytime.

Fantastic holiday - just what the doctor ordered

Rooms were nice and modern. pools and grounds were well kept and immaculate. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Lots of activities going on during the day if you wanted to take part. Staff were very attentive all the way through from room staff , restaurant to reception. Taxi into Hammamet / jasmine were cheap.

First there was an issue with the attitude of the security on main door he was asking about personal information with a bed manner , reception staff was fine , housekeeping supervisor is the worst, she entered to the room without knocking the door than she was talking loudly on the phone and she never apologise, guest relation Patricia is very professional and polite , overall the stay was under my expectation

The regular staff were wonderful, unfortunately the reception staff were rude and unhelpful, no air con till the 1st of June. Gay female couple despite booking double room and confirming with hotel, at reception was given twins, i did complain but was told they could not change . Constantly harassed and asked out by the male members of staff . Quality of food not great, maybe a 3 star at best.

Dont believe the HYPE and leave expectations at ho

Check in was fine. Went to dinner the buffet meal was below expectations for a 4* all inclusive. There wasnt a good spread of food available and choices was limited. 2 meat dishes, turkey and beef steaks and 1 fish in aubergine curry. Thats it. The rest is salad or bread and very limited dessert choices.

You have to pay extra if you want to eat in 2 of the other restaurants on site and the other Tunisian restaurant needs you to book 24hrs ahead and is a la cartr menu.

Dinner was very basicand breakfast was even more basic.

Im not looking forward to lunch next as i dont want to be disappointed with another meal.

As for the room. I wanted and requested and booked double bedroom. Got 2 beds pushed together. I also paid extra for Sea View. You have to adjust your position on the balcony and look through the palm tree and buildings in front to see the ocean in a distant.

This is on top of the bedsheets having hair and dirt when i first walked in.

Very nice hotel. Be prepared to pay extra for using the beach/ sun loungers and towels if you are not all inclusive. Pool clean and heated which was lovely. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Food was ok with different menu each night. Room was clean with a beautiful sea view I would definitely come back again.

I had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning in the Spring. Great service from hotel staff who cannot do enough for you and animation staff work so hard to make sure you enjoy your stay. Great choices of food. Perfect for people who want a quiet holiday away from the hustle and bustle as it is outside of the main Hammamet Town. Loved the private beach and pool areas. Rooms where I stayed were spacious and very comfortable and cleaned daily.

Go there for pools and beach not for the rooms

Location and outdoor premises, direct access to the beach is all this hotel has to offer. Forget about the rest.

The entrance hall is bright and modern. But do not get fooled: this is where all refurbishment expenses have been invested. The rest of the building is old and dark. Rooms are old, barely clean. We found hair in the bed and in the bathroom and the towels were, frankly said, disgusting: stinky and dirty. On the whole, this hotel will be probably rated a 2-3 stars in Central Europe (Germany or Switzerland).

That said, the staff is helpful, view from the balcony (if you have a chance to get one) is beautiful, the outside pools are not bad and access to the beach very convenient.

During our first week, due to the hassling that most retail outlets were giving us, when we ventured out of the hotel, we had decided that we would not return to Tunisia. However, by the second week, our experience of the hotel had changed our minds. The hotel was clean and maintained well. The staff were pleasant, polite and helpful. Our room was cleaned every day and the domestic staff were pleasant and flexible and the cleaning was done to a high standard. The food was excellent, plentiful and a good range was available each meal.
The animation team were very pleasant, enthusiastic and encouraging without being pushy. Nice people. We believe that this hotel was one of a very few that had a 70 to 80 percent room occupancy rate while we were there, and many were returning guests. That says a lot by itself.

Hotel Phenicia Hammamet Ideal for Winter Break

Several hotels in the area few guests eg one with room for 600 had 12 guests. some smaller ones none at all. This is due to political situation, economic crisis in Europe and fsr too many rooms available. Phenicia was warm comfortable and excellent food. Good choice every night. aome hotels in Yasmine area had no heating on and as Tunisia was experiencing its worst Winter for 30 years this was worrying. This included some 5 star hotels so the warm Phenicia was excellent. The hotel was half full so a good atmosphere.One niggling point more drawer space would be nice. Comfortable bed good service so for a break in Tunisia that is well worth a visit the Phenicia would always be my choice

Schöne Anlage, leckere Verpflegung und höfliches und nettes Personal. Man hat grundsätzlich alle Annehmlichkeiten die man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt benötigt.
Genügend Auswahl an Speisen und Getränke, Pool, Spa, privat Strand und weiteren (sportlichen) Aktivitäten.
Einziges Manko die Minigolfanlage sollte mal wieder renoviert werden.

Un point à améliorer serait l’obligation par l’administration de l’hôtel de porter le masque durant le séjour. En effet, je regrette que plus de 90% des occupants ne respectent pas les consignes récompensées et le port du masque.

Katastrof med språket i receptionen. Kan knappt engelska. Fick byta nyckelkort till hotellrummet 15 gånger på 2 dagar för det slutade fungera hela tiden. Såg ständigt irriterade hitellgäster som köade för att byta sina kort. Riktigt dåligt.
Viss mat är god men generellt låg kvalité och dåliga råvaror. Helt ok service i restaurangerna.

Séjour très agréable: personnel trés gentil et à l'écoute, trés belles picines, nouriture variée et trés bonne, trés belle plage. Le seul inconvénient c'est l'endroit où
est situé l'hôtel; mais l'equipe d'animation comble ce vide par des programmes riches et variés.

Un séjour reposant et relaxant.

Le séjour était agréable, sauf qu'il y a des améliorations à faire sur l'état des draps et des oreillers qui présentes des tâches, malgré qu'ils soient lavés , aussi sur l'aspect propreté, ce n'est pas au top, il y a des manquements et des améliorations à faire, surtout que l'hôtel est certifié ISO 9001.
Les moyens de nettoyage sont obsolètes.
Aussi, au niveau de la piscine couverte, l'état des lieux est très sale, notamment le parterre.

Struttura gradevole sotto tutti gli aspetti anche se devo segnalare che, nonostante il nostro arrivo alle 21,15 con formula A.I., non ci è stato permesso di cenare al ristorante che era aperto e in servizio.
Poi non è presente nessun canale italiano in camera, nonostante il TV satellitare e le varie richeste alle quali non è stato, pare, possibile intervenire tecnicamente per assenza di predisposizione.

Hôtel sympa mais ne correspondant pas vraiment à un quatre étoile. Le personnel est sympathique et avenant. Les chambres sont propres et correctes. Le buffet est est un vrai plus. Beaucoup de variété et la nourriture est dans l’ensemble ce qui est agréable. Cependant il est vraiment dommage que certains services soient payants comme les serviettes de plage ou les coffres dans les chambres.
Globalement le séjour y est agréables si on fait abstraction de ces derniers points
