Basic hotel, wonderful town

Arrived 2pm and had to use outside booking facility even though a member of staff was inside the hotel behind a locked door! Staff (male) not very friendly.
Basic hotel, good breakfast, 50 minute walk into a beautiful town. The town is stunning with architecture, shops and good food.

A nice property with a courteous staff. The room was small but well designed. The hotel is located in a very good location, adjacent to a tram stop that takes you right into the Old Town section. Amenties such as a liquor store, gas station convenience mart and a full market were within easy walking distrance. Additionally, a short walk in the other direction led us to a nice german pub with inexpensive beer and tasty pub grub. The only thing that prevented me from giving five stars was the fact that the room air conditioning did not work on a day where the temperature peaked at over 90F. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay at this property

Das Zimmer wirkte sehr alt und verraucht. Es hat nach kalten Rauch gerochen und das war sehr unangenehm.

Well…it’s an ok hotel! Location is good! An the tram is just outside!
Clean enough, beds are uncomfortable…an there’s no real service to speak of! Reception is wishy washy at best!
I love the auto check in…meaning no matter what time, you use a machine to check in out of hours! But make sure you phone hotel to confirm it!

Breakfast is pretty good an probs worth the extra few quid!

All in all a good stay, shame beds are hard/memory foam!

Balcony was a nice touch, a little cramped but an outside space at least…

Air conditioning is a problem if you do not understand that you have to request this in advance. Furniture in the room is probably the cheapest they could find. The only person that was exceptional is the one women who works in the breakfast area and works like three personnel. She is originally from Hungary and should be promoted and given a raise. She provided amazing service. The other good thing about the place is the laundry service which the house keeping team does for the customer.

Stay outside of the overpriced town—and in comfort

We planned to visit Würzburg as it figures prominently in our family’s ancestry. We looked for available rooms in the city and were shocked at the prices: it’s a beautiful place, but it’s not Munich or Berlin. After scrolling for a bit, I found this one. The price was good and the location was fine. I had no qualms about driving into town to park, anyway. We crossed our fingers it’d be fine.

When we checked in, we asked about laundry. We’d already been travelling for a week and had a other ahead. Though we weren’t allowed to use their machines, we were offered the chance to drop our laundry down in the morning and pick it up in the afternoon. This was a great gift, since we were planning on touring the city. We left it at the front desk and picked it up in the late afternoon: it had been all even been folded! It cost us €30 but the benefit was better than losing a day of our trip at the laundromat.

Breakfast the following morning was superb. The offerings on the buffet table were great. The hotel is renovating, so the rooms, while nice, sort of pale in comparison to the dining area. It’s really nice! There’s a coffee/tea nook, snacks and a generally pleasant space to be in.

We very much enjoyed our stay.

The hotel was a great location. Tram stop across the street, along with a grocery store, McDonald's, getrinke mart. They have a coffee machine in the lobby that is free, a cooler with free ice cream, a beer machine for 3 euro, snacks, drinks etc. Breakfast was good, and the room was nice.

Hotel is a little bit out of the main town area but there is a tram and driving is about 10mins or so. There are a few food options nearby about 5mins walk so all in all, a good location to visit Würzburg.

Good in a pinch, but splurge if you can

Service level is a 4. Staff is very friendly and efficient. The first room we were in had a strong sewer smell and they immediately moved us to a new room. The room was good - if you just need a night. The bed's not too comfortable and the walls are thin so if someone was drunk and singing loudly and off key it will wake you up. The free parking was either a small lot up a steep hill or down the road, so not too convenient, but it was an ok stay.

Don't trust the advertising pics...

Requested a twin room (we are two sisters travelling together) but were given a double room in the old part of the hotel. The advertising pics showed a lovely modern room. Our room was ancient, small and stuffy. One day old towels were removed but no fresh towels were left. Evening staff didn't know where to find more!

Arrived after 7 hour motorcycling trip wanting no more than a drink in the bar, a bite to eat and an early night. Told at reception that both bar and restaurant were closed: no other explanation. Had to walk into town to find another hotel with proper facilities. Pretty poor particularly as all was open the next night when coach load of Japanese tourists arrived. Hostel service at inflated hotel price; not good at all.

A clean hotel with convenient parking

It is a standard German hotel - clean and organized. The parking is very close to the hotel and the staffs are very friendly. Wuerzburg itself is a very charming city - so you feel good about almost everything.

The drawback is the lack of fridge in the room and you will have to pay for water and coffee in the lobby.

The neighbor is a gas station. The staff (originally from Egypt) is super friendly. You can buy ice there if you have children and they really want to have cold drinks...

very helpful staff. parking available in small garage (small fee) or in small lot on site, but also in off-site lot one block away (no charge). Restaurant: dinner was good. I opted for dinner at hotel since other choices were a good walk away, and I was not disappointed. If you don't need to be in town, this is a great choice. Easy access to highway and good quality room were reasons for choice.

Good location for tram link. Value hotel

For price the hotel was one of the best in Wurzberg, but I felt you get what you pay for in this instance. I found enough parking on site and the tram line outside makes access to the centre of Wurzberg really easy and convenient. Reception was good and the rooms were relatively small but well maintained and cleaned. However, it was the rooms themselves I did not like. Firstly, there is glass window between the main part of the bedroom and the ensuite shower/toilet room, I was told all rooms are the same. Apart from some couples wanting privacy in the bathroom, it also meant that if you got up in the night you lit the whole room up. I suspect for little overall cost, blinds could be fitted so guests have a choice on visibility. Secondly, there is no room air conditioning, just a fan. There is a window and door that can be opened, but for our room the door was to a shared veranda so we were reluctant to keep it open even on a hot night. Finally, we booked without breakfast but adding it seemed more expensive than other places we stayed, so we declined and bought it elsewhere

Used a rental car to get around most places from the hotel, since everything was either down the road a bit (the fortress) or over the bridge (palace and main market area). Rooms were clean and hotel was across from a supermarket and next to a liquor/wine/beer store.

I thought this hotel was fun, the elevator was decorated as a shower :) Our room was very nice, with a shared balcony and a little bit of a view of the city. The room was clean and comfortable. The lady at the front desk was very nice and very helpful. We told her we wanted to get some authentic German food (part of the reason we were traveling to this country) and she pointed us to Buttnerstuben, just a short walk down the road, and it was so good! I would stay here again, except I somehow didn't realize until after we stayed that I didn't get any rewards points for staying here. But that's not really anything against the hotel.

Hotel easy to find when driving, convienent parking on sight. Good internet connection. Be aware that although holtel has a lift, we still had stairs to negotiate! Not good if you have a lot of luggage. Hotel a little way out of the old city, but it is easy enough to take the tram to the city, overall the stay was okay

We stayed here because we had a good deal. However, we arrived during a heatwave and the hotel could only offer us a tiny fan. Our room faced a busy street so sleeping with the windows open weren't really an option. The next day they offered us a quieter room. Otherwise, it had a good restaurant and bar and was handy to transport. Check the weather before booking.

The hotel is very clean and modern european hotel inside. Slightly older looking outside. Staff were very nice and helpful, but this is a small place and you'll have to keep in mind that they don't run a 24 hour desk, but have some of the restaurant staff help with check in. It is not in the middle of everything in Wurzburg, but about 10 minutes away by car. There's a tram stop near the hotel so you can get to the city without a car, but I'm guessing it would be tough to make multiple trips back and forth a day, or in the middle of the night. There's a small parking garage at the hotel. Price was very reasonable for 4 people, and not bad price for overnight parking (6 Euro). We had a quadruple room, which was really two rooms next to each other. It was great to put the kids next door so they could sleep while we were awake. I would recommend this hotel again.

The rooms were spacious and there was free parking and internet, however you had to create an account in order to use the internet. There is a busy stop in front of the hotel. It's about 15 min bus ride into the center of town. There was renovations going on in the hotel during my stay. They began working on the hotel early in the morning.

I was in a double room. Considering a cost-benefit relationship, the hotel was pretty ok. The bed was comfortable and clean. The tv set was extremely small and far away from bed (14\" tv hanging on the roof). The bathroom was clean, but way too small. I wasn't so happy that they charged me separate for an open parking place. During the check-in, the receptionist wasn't so kind, but during the check-out the receptionist was really helpful and kind.

Das Garage war Katastrophe überall Müll und so gut wie kein Platz für 12.50 € am Tag eine Zumutung. Das Bad hat auch schrecklich gerochen wie eine Kloake. Sehr wenig Extras für die Gäste. In anderen Hotels gibt’s wenigstens kleine Notfall Päckchen im Badezimmer. Sehr enttäuschen für über 400€.

Godt hotel til enkelte overnatninger. Ringe plads til den store bagage til ferien. God morgenbuffet og gratis parkering er værd at bemærke. Det er oplyst at stedet har restaurant, hvilket ikke var tilfældet da vi ankom. Svært at finde spisesteder lige i nærheden.

Wir könnten am Ende leider doch nicht reisen. Da die Stornofrist abgelaufen war, mussten wir den Trip bezahlen. So weit so gut!

Leider war es sehr aufwendig an eine Rechnung zu kommen. Am Ende habe ich 3-4 mal mit dem Hotel telefoniert. Jetzt nervt man mich ständig mit Mails, dass ich keine Übernachtung bewerten soll. Sorry, leider kein guter Service.

Bei einem sehr guten Hotel hätte ich zudem etwas Entgegenkommen bei dem Umstand, dass wir kurzfristig das Zimmer nicht mehr benötigt haben, erwartet - z.B. Angebot des Verschiebens der Übernachtung um eine Woche.

Bra läge för övernattning när man är på genomresa. Andra gången vi bor där men det blir sista. Frukosten är OK.
I badrummet blinkande lysröret hysteriskt och duschdörrarna släppte ut vatten på hela golvet. Dörrarna öppnades ut mot handfat och toastol vilket gav en otroligt trång öppning.

Dieses Doppel-Zimmer ist aufgrund der Größe , Zustand und Ausstattung keine 180 inkl Frühstück wert. Das Frühstück war allerdings völlig OK , der Service belm Frühstück war nahezu nicht vorhanden. Es wurde nichts abgeräumt und leere Speisen nur dürftig aufgefüllt .

Deutlich unfreundliche Begrüssung beim Check-In, sehr lautes Zimmer und schlaflose Nacht durch die Alternative, entweder mit lauter Klimaanlage oder bei offenem Fenster zu schlafen, defekte Glühlampen an der Decke und am Bett, sowie leere Batterie in der Fernbedienung für die Klimaanlage. Darüber hinaus ist die direkte Umgebung des Hotels komplett unattraktiv vergleichsweise einem Industriezentrum. Hier würde ich nicht wieder buchen.

Hotel in Toplage, wenige Meter neben Strassenbahnstation an Verkehrsstrasse.
Zentrum in ca. 15 Minuten erreichbar mit Strassenbahn - weg vom Trubel der Stadt. Freibad zu Fuss erreichbar. Ein Plus für Schwimmer.
Frühstücksbuffet top und lecker. Alles da, was man braucht für die Besichtigungen.

Hotel é longe do centro mas como estávamos de carro ok. Tem um tram que passa bem perto. Mas o hotel é estranho, achei o banheiro sujo com cabelos no box e quarto com cheiro forte desagradável. Café da manhã é razoável, mas tem máquina de café o dia todo a disposição. Essa cortesia foi legal, pois difícil de ver isto na Europa.
Não ficaria de novo por causa do cheiro ruim e da limpeza fraca.
É um hotel mediano.

Guter Aufenthalt für eine Nacht

Sehr aufmerksamer und freundlicher Empfang. Schneller Check in. Hübscher, wie frisch renoviert wirkendes Zimmer. Gute Betten. Tolles Frühstücksbuffet in ansprechendem Frühstückssaal. Gerne wieder!

Business Hotel von mäßiger Qualität

Extrem lautes Hotel, weil vorne eine Straßenbahn fährt. Zimmer sehr klein, so dass es schwierig war, das Badezimmer vernünftig zu nutzen. Die Dusche war für Schlangenmenschen geeignet, aber nicht für normale. Die Dusche war undicht und ich konnte sie nur behelfsmäßig reparieren. Sehr gut war nur das Frühstück und die besondere Freundlichkeit des Personals - ich suche mir beim nächsten Business-Aufenthalt in der Gegend ganz sicher ein anderes Hotel.

Verkehrsgünstige Lage, super nette Mitarbeiter!

Das Hotel liegt etwas ausserhalb, ist aber mit dem Auto und der Tram gut erreichbar. Kostenlose Parkplätze stehen zur Verfügung. Der Check in verlief absolut reibungslos, die Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption wat super freundlich. Das Zimmer war leider etwas klein, es gab keim Staufläche für 3 Nächte. Dafür war die Dusche absolut grandios und so, dass man sich darin bewegen konnte. Alles war super sauer. Hoher Schlafkomfort Dank super Matraze und Ruhe! Auch das Frühstück war sehr lecker und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Ich komme gerne wieder!
