Its proximity to the baroque city of Würzburg makes this family-friendly hotel an appealing place to stay for all tourists visiting the city. The centre of Würzburg is about 3 km away.

The towers of the cathedral and the churches Neumünster and Marienkapelle are visible from afar. The Fortress Marienberg and the famous Käppele chapel, with their marvellous vistas over the city, are accessible via a scenic footpath from the hotel.

The Romantic Road and the Residenz palace (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) can also be found in the vicinity. The building housing the hotel has been completely restored, and the 38-room hotel was built in 1984.
