On arrival the receptionist handed over the room key and that was it. No info on the Hôtel facilities and didn’t tell us that the bar and restaurant was closed for a private function so we had to make our way to the golf bar. Not ideal. Sauna had to be pre booked for you only. Would I stay again nope as it was also expensive at £180 for one night stay due to a mixup on the dates

Useful one night stay after arriving on a late tunnel crossing as the desk is open 24/7. Family room was large with nice view onto the golf course. Didn’t have breakfast as it was expensive. Secure parking, which was another attraction vs staying in a town.

Great view from our room. Staff accommodating, including putting baby milk in fridge and ice blocks in the freezer. Spacious room with separate toilet, shower and bath. Sofa bed for our 3 year old was very comfy and cot provided on request. Decent breakfast choices.

Only minor limitations was the blanket provided for our baby (thick) but we bought a cellular blanket anyway.

Great stopover hotel

Great hotel and facilities. We were looking for secure parking, air con and in an area we needed to be in. The bar was closed for a large group but there was live music, food and drink at the Clubhouse, no charge. We had a great night on the terrace listening to the bands, but food option was very limited. Great service and we booked a 30 min slot with our very own jacuzzi, sauna area. This was a lovely treat. Staff very helpful and would stay here again

A mostly quiet hotel which isn't far from the channel crossing locations (we used Le Shuttle).
The room was quiet with nice views of the golf course.
The golf club restaurant was pleasant with simple to more fancy fare if wanted.

Great staff and facilities, but poor noise proof

The hotel has excellent service-minded staff, good facilities, and an extraordinary view. However, the noise insulation between the floor is inferior. The receptionist called my room and asked me not to run because the guest on the floor below complained about the noise, even though I had just moved between my bathroom and the bed. I recommend this hotel only if you arrive late and stay only for the sleep.

We arrived on Sunday, no restaurant available in the evening, we were offered Buffet which was less than mediocre. We have stayed at this hotel many times over the last few years being very pleased. Breakfast again was buffet which in past has been excellent, today not the usual selection of dishes, a golfing party were staying so I presume the breakfast was reflected in the price the golf party were paying. Will we stay again? Maybe not
The hotel staff were very obliging although harresed, the room was good.

Great place to recharge and enjoy some greenery

Perfect stop after a long day driving. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We had time to try the spa (sauna+jacuzzi) in the morning before checkout and it was all that was needed.
The bed was comfy, the bathroom spotless (and with a separate toilet). Our room overlooking the green was charming and we really enjoyed the view!

Lovely hotel. If you want peace and quiet and a wonderful view this hotel is a great option. Clean, tidy and friendly staff.

Room was big and very good value for
Money. The pillows were not great so if you are used to the standards of big international hotels, maybe bring your own!

Dinner was delicious and the price for a hotel was very fair for the quality. Menu very limited for children. Some smaller more family-friendly options would be a good idea.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hôtel du Golf with my dog, and while our visit was brief, I was thoroughly impressed by our experience. Great hotel about 30 mins from Eurotunnel. In a golf course so car park very secure with lots of CCTV and charging points.

Lovely restaurant with good choice. Room had stunning view over golf course and Northern France.
Breakfast was great and started early for the golfers which helped us.

Problem with plumbing - toilet did not flush properly, and there was a distict smell of drains in the room as well as in the lobby.
Service was very good, the servers were attentive and friendly. However, there were no real options for vegetarians (unless ovo-lacto) and very definitely nothing for vegans.

Our room was larger than most. Though over looked car park. Lamp didn’t work. Hairdryer was broken. Pillows uncomfortable. Requested extra coffee and milk in the room, which never arrived.
Food was “ok” for a smart hotel. !
Reception unattended on departure … had to wait to check out!!

Lovely hotel. Well priced bar. We didn’t eat in the restaurant. Room clean. Bed a bit on the hard side for our liking. Lovely view over the golf course. Not brilliantly signposted if you don’t know the company that owns the hotel’s name as this is the biggest part of the signs. You get to the golf car park, turn right out of the car park and there’s the hotel!

Breakfast only average, ran out of fresh fruit by 9am and one toaster between 54 rooms! Scrambled eggs cold and rubbery, greasy and fatty bacon, no sausages. Room was spacious and clean, staff helpful but sauna not working and restaurant closed. Great location for Calais, lovely golf course views, fantastic air con and shower. Separate wc to free up bathroom for other room guests. No English TV stations. Comfortable bed. Plenty of free car parking.

OK, obviously better if you're a golfer but the doom are nice the hotel is well kept and the staff are friendly and helpful.
It's let down by the catering the food is alright but the restaurant is vastly overpriced for what is on offer (think mass catering wedding) and it's poorly configured for (a very average) breakfast leading to congestion. Overall just OK.

I stayed last night with my daughter for one night.
I was disappointed that in the junior suite the internet (WIFI) did not work for the duration of the time we were here. Despite several times resorting this to the reception.
Furthermore, the coffee machine in the room was broken.
On this occasion your hotel did not meet my expectations.

We had just done the relais and chateau tour of the wine region, staying in some beautiful hotels, we needed an extra night before driving back to the uk. We booked this hotel as a stopover on our way back to Calais. We arrived at the hotel late afternoon, early evening only to be told that the restaurant was fully booked and we could not have a table. The nearest restaurants were a good half hours drive, which would have added another hour to what had already been a very long day. At about 7:15 walking past the hotel restaurant I could see many empty tables!! The room had a kettle but no tray of tea or coffee. When I ask reception for a tea tray I was given a paper cup with a tea bag in it. No I won’t be staying again.

A regular stop on our return to the UK

This hotel is our usual stop before returning to the UK with Eurotunnel. Unfortunately the restaurant services were not available to us due to reduced capacity. We were given a list of alternative restaurants, but the hotel is situated out of town. Having used hotel restaurants throughout our trip it seemed a strange arrangement ! The staff, as always were very welcoming and helpful.

A golfing retreat and handy stop on our UK return

This is a regular stopover when heading for Calais and the Channel Tunnel on our return to the UK. It’s also a great golfing destination. On this occasion, the restaurant was understaffed and clients waited longer than usual to be served during the evening. The Buffett breakfast was the usual high standard however. The ambiance of this hotel located between the golf course and forest is exceptional and offers great views. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable.

Lovely relaxing stay with many positives including view from junior suite across golf course, Jacuzzi and sauna. Staff really friendly and accommodating. Only downside was noise all through one night from guests in room above who constantly walked around and woke us up. The hotel did what they could to help us.

We stayed as an overnight stop prior to a ferry crossing. Staff were welcoming, room clean, quiet and comfortable. We had an excellent evening meal. I'm not a golfer but the course looked extremely pleasant. I'm waiting to see if we are not charged the security on our card paid on check in, in addition to our final bill!
