Staff was wonderful although one did recommend Casa del Chef as a good place to go for great food but it seems their waitstaff pick and choose who they treat well… If you do decide to go anyway DO NOT order their Chicharron de Pollo… it’s disgusting, they claim it’s white meat only which is a lie. Nothing but tendons and maybe some dark meat which is gummy, chewy, and tasteless. Anyway, back to the actual hotel… Rooms are cleaned daily, parking is plentiful, food is very good. We ate there twice but preferred to eat at the local restaurants to help small businesses and give them a chance to shine… Just NOT Casa del Chef!!!! Lots of stuff to do on site plus the beach is a short walk away. My husband and I were very happy with our stay there.

We had a perfect vacation at this resort. Beautiful views of the pool and ocean. Plenty of outdoor games and things to do at the resort. Wonderful food from room service, the pool bar and breakfast buffet. I lost my phone and thought I was going to have a miserable time, a staff member found it and turned it in and I got it back really quickly. The staff was wonderful. The room was exceptionally clean. It was perfect I can't wait to return. Hopefully very soon.

El área de la piscina y los jacuzzis los disfrutamos muchísimos; un plus el área de comida y barra de El Bohío, el staff muy atento y amigables.
La comida muy buena tanto en El Bohío y el La
Terraza.
Las habitaciones espaciosas pero ya se podría considerar ir trabajando un upgrade.

Usamos mucho la piscina y la barra/cocina cerca de la piscina; la pizza 10/10!
La propiedad en general está en buenas condiciones pero…los cuartos, en específico los baños, ya requieren un ‘update’, y el mueble del cuarto una mejor limpieza para sofá.

El parking bastante cerca accesible a la propiedad.

Un hotel a considerar para una próxima ocasión.

Pensé en desayunar y cenar en el Hotel. Los precios excesivamente, altos.
No le dieron mantenimiento a la piscina. Había vasos, envoltura de esquimalitos, botellas, latas de licor alrededor en la orilla de la piscina. Le dije a un empleado y no tomó acción ni sabía informar al respecto. Al ser tan caro el costo de la comida, las personas buscan delivery y los zafacones los 3 días estuvieron llenos. Las bandejas en los pasillos frente a las habitaciones (como 5). Por otro lado no hay diversión. No hay musica ni entrenimiento. Solo el Casino. En fin, esperaba más... no vuelvo! Claro soy una clienta, habrán personas con otra opinión.

Staff saw I was in line but decided to take a phone call instead & make me wait. Never told at check-in where the pool & restaurant were. Handicapped parking spaces a joke; they were narrower than regular parking spots; not fit for a car. The pictures on the web of the ocean view did not match the real view, very disappointing to pay extra for the view & not get it.

Good location. Room and bathroom was clean, however the bed headboard, sofa and furniture in general needs cleaning, stains on them, making them look deteriorated. Beds are ok, but not the most comfortable. Pool area was good, however guests were apparently allowed to bring their own music, large portable speaker, competing with the music that the hotel was offering throughout their music system next to the pool with good tropical music. Staff in general, from parking, concierge, rooms, guards, restaurants, all staff was excellent. Ground areas clean and have nice family friendly amenities.

The property is beautiful. The pool and pool area is incredible. There were lots of activities around the pool to participate in if you wanted. - pickleball, miniature golf, children's play area, etc. The bar and food is wonderful and the facility itself is amazing. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Don't come to this property to enjoy the beautiful Caribbean Sea - the beach is not beautiful, and the bottom of the water has rocks and seaweed and is not clear.

Great resort. Nice pools for family and everyone. Two good sized hot tubs. I didn’t golf. Nice looking casino. Small but ample weight room with tvs and water. Five star hotel for sure! Nice bar near pool with amazing food. Frozen drinks and buckets of beer. The staff was amazing and maintenance was quick to address a small problem with the door sensor.

The beach closed at dark and the whole hotel felt safe. The parking was close , the ticket system was confusing.

Room was amazing! Nice view of the ocean and table & 2 chairs outside. Would recommend!

The pool is huge and the water is a great temperature. The grounds are beautiful and have plenty of seating. They offer board games, sports court games, and a mini-golf course that's super fun. They also offered us popsicles and slushies, all free of charge. The staff's service in all areas was spectacular, and the rooms are very comfortable. The rooms have a lovely view and include a refrigerator and coffee maker. The location is perfect; there are many places to visit nearby. This hotel is an experience on another level.

Requested first floor recived 3rd, requested a crib for a baby weeks before reservation and had to wait an hour after check in to receive something we were promised would be in the rokm upon arrival (checked in at 7pm). Property is in seriius need of a renovation, definitely not uo to Hilton standards. We had an issue with our breakfast buffet visit and had to ask a manager to refund us our party of 5 after the cooke refused to make more food. We arrived at 10am and were charged full price and were never advised the buffet actually ended at 10am.

The rooms are outdated from
1980s and the pictures are incorrect for charging over $250/night. The bathroom was dirty with hairs on the tub walls and a clogged sink. The GM lied that she/staff reached out to us many times but the first call came at 4:15p. She didn’t leave a message and during call back said she had to release the newer room since we didn’t call her back before 4p. She did give a $150 credit after we had spent $800 for a 3night stay. The facility and the pool area are ok but be aware the rooms are dirty, stained couch, and very outdated bathrooms.

3/5 - Beautiful Views, but Overpriced & Noisy

The Good:
We moved to the Ocean Tower after three nights, which was a huge improvement—quiet, great views, and fantastic housekeeping. Shoutout to Kimberly and Alejandro for the friendly service, and the Piña Coladas are actually quite good! The grounds and golf course are also very well-kept.

The Bad:
• Noise: Avoid any rooms close to and next to pool bar (East wing). The DJ music at the pool bar is excessively loud until midnight. We couldn’t get any peace and requested to move.

• Service: one night I felt completely invisible at the pool bar counter; after being ignored for 15 minutes, I gave up and ordered Domino’s to the room. Front desk staff also seemed quite miserable.

• Value: Everything is overpriced: $15/day for parking on top of a $400/night room, and $25 for 5 small local beers. Food is bland, expensive, and portions are measly. La Terraza buffet lunch is the best option.

• Maintenance: The hotel needs a renovation. The Jacuzzis were inconsistent (one day cold, one day lukewarm), and I even saw stray dogs swimming in the pool with no staff intervention.

Verdict: A decent stay if you have a car to eat off-resort, but the inconsistency, loud pool bar and constant extra costs mean I won’t be returning.

This resort was very grand at one time, but this is not the time. It’s extremely dated, but yet somewhat comfortable. It should be noted that the beach is completely usable. So if you’re looking to enjoy the beach, this is not the place for you. The pool area is very nice and very well kept. The food has to be one of the worst food I have ever had at a resort, but there’s some gems outside the resort. I advised to research high-end restaurants, we did that and found some really great ones. The bed was not great, but it wasn’t bad either, along with the pillows.It was an Extremely low-key restful long weekend. Checking out the town was an added perk. It was very safe and extremely pretty.

Pool was wonderful, staff was friendly. A bathing suit was missing from my drawer after returning from in town I wouldn't mentioned it to staff but it's irreplaceable and felt violating so I did. They were nice but of course I left PR without it. Also if you get a room by the pool you will hear very very loud music into the night early morning. It was fine for us as we didn't mind but someone might it was like a stereo in the room on full blast.

This “resort” was bad, we booked a 5 day vacation here in Jan of 2026 for my 50th birthday. It’s almost a 2 hour drive from San Juan. Once we arrived there were a bunch of drunk locals partying in the front entrance. We checked in and our room was like we stepped back to 1991. Old everything and dirty. We went to the “restaurant “ and it was rough. Didn’t like the ammeties or the look of the food options so we went to the outside bar/restaurant. There were a lot of people there but none of them were staying at the “resort”?? The staff was severely overwhelmed and there was dishes, drinks trash everywhere. We ordered chicken tenders and fries assuming that was the safe bet. Took forever to come and it was not good at all. We decided that we weren’t going to stay at this dump so we contacted Travelocity and they spoke to the hotel to get us a full refund. The icing on the cake was the main pool was closed for repairs, our room balcony over looked a bunch of workers tearing out concrete right under it. Imaging having your coffee with construction noise super loud right outside your balcony. This place needs a complete renovation or it needs to be shutdown. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I almost forgot the casino, smelly, old and none of the people gambling were guests they were all locals. Very weird vibe.

We ended up booking an awesome Airbnb condo in San Juan right on a the beach and had a great experience. Please don’t stay at this resort!
