Our family enjoyed our stay at Whiterock. The kids used the water theme park and slides. The 3 villas we rented were clean but could see outdated bathrooms. Not a lot of resort guests, so it felt exclusive for our family. Overall, we had a great time.

This hotel was incredibly disappointing. It is clearly old and was undergoing repairs during our stay. The rooms were old and not clean with limited basic facilities. We ended up upgrading cos we were so disappointed and even then one of our rooms had no hot water. The kids playground was very old and unsafe with rusty parts and overall we were really disappointed. The restaurant was really nice with good food and the breakfast buffet was nice but other than that I would not recommend. Clearly needs an overhaul. We stayed on recommendation from friends but things their standards have clearly slipped.

Staff and facilities were excellent. Was a bit upset with service from front desk and extra charges for bed linnen if you want doonas not to mention charges for dirty beach towels so either take your own towels or make sure you don’t get them dirty.

The resort is nice and clean, the best part was the breakfast buffet, the food was good and there’s many food options. The only downside for the resort was the beach water was not clean. The resort needs to maintain the cleanliness of the beach area. Overall, it is a good place to stay, room was clean and spacious. Staff are very respectful and accommodating.

The rooms were clean and had good aircon. Our kids 9/12 enjoyed the water park. There are a lot of pools. But there is not really a beach and many rides were not available. It is nice for 2-3 days. It is very overpriced for what you get.

The staff was amazing and they were really accommodating. But I was very disappointed about the lack of beach in this property, after all, their name is \"Whiterock Beach\". The pictures are a bit deceiving. Although I feel bad about saying so because the staff really made up for what the property is lacking. The pools are outdated and there is no beach, lots of commercial business, and just not worth paying 250 a night for. It is more like a waterpark resort. We normally stay at Camayan beach but it was booked so we gave this one a try. Should've just walked into Camayan and gambled if there were any rooms available. Staff was super great though.

Ok, but a bit tired

We had a good time, but a bit disappointed as it was quite simple and tired. On the good side the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the food was good. Small things pulls it down, like metal sunbeds (painfull), extra payment for the floating island, extra payment for towels (expect to be included when it's called Resort), and also not so family friendly menu as no childrens menu or possibility to order half orders. Also no wifi in the rooms.

A dirty beach!

Room, appliances and furniture need upgrade, Price is expensive for a cheap look room. Staff should be more courteous especially during checkin and checkout. Rate was overpriced. The beach is so dirty! There’s a lot of trash!!! Drainage goes out to the sea. WiFi was very, very, very slow! Tv reception was bad and tv screen was blurry!

We enjoyed the many swimmimg pools it has but before that we had a horrible experience during check in. It took close to an hour before we could register. It’s summer ending weekend and understandly there were so many guests. They should have anticipated this and provided for more check in counters. The same long wait happened during dinner. We waited for a good 45 minutes for food to arrive. This is unacceptable.

Condo rooms stunk of insect spray/ roach balls. Very dirty , rusty toilet. Rotten pillow inthe closet. Termite droppings on ther walls. We spent 4 nights miserable! When we asked the condo caretaker/ agent for a different room, she said she'll give us a better one for $100 extra.

We rented 2 rooms, no one answers our call from Expedia contact.
This is a real shame as I brought my whole family on this trip. Sad really. Never stay in Jacana 406b and 104A. Yuck!

Very Disappointing - Read My 6 Reasons Below

My recent stay on 4/28/18 started off on the wrong foot right away.

1. Upon arrival it took about 30 minutes standing behind just one customer to Check In. I NEVER saw anyone use a computer, all inefficient paper admin / transactions. Clearly 30 yrs behind.
2. Then, arrived in my room to find Ants on the wall by the bed And in the bed, all while the room was super hot since the A/C was off (currently summer). They managed to get me into another room but 1.5 hrs had already gone by so now missing quality time spent there.
3. I tried ordering a Cold Beer the following day around 11am but all they had was Hot Beer at that time. Really?
4. Had a hard time connecting to WiFi and was given a couple of different passwords, so staff is not consistent.
5. Personal preference, but the resort is big since there are many activities (good thing for other people). With that, the resort offers \"day passes\" for groups so many many people were at the resort. (vs. room check in guests)
6. No real beach! Pic on Expedia is deceiving as it appears there is a beach, however whatever beach is there is very tiny (I wouldn't even consider it a beach, just a path to get to the water).

I tried cancelling upon arrival but couldn't since I booked on here (Expedia).

Overpriced and crowded

We came for a family weekend and rented their larger seaside view villa. It turns out there was quite a bit of construction going on around the villa (they're building a lot of new ones) and we asked to be moved (got charged for that). The resort is huge, it's a big machine with 7-8 pools etc, but it seems like the management is trying to maximize the use of space to add more and more rooms + allows hundreds of daytime beach goers to come for a day use fee. The place is therefore very crowded. Many extras have to be paid, including the slides right on the beach (disappointed with that). Sea water had a lot of floating debris, but pools were very clean. Breakfast is decent. All in all, for more than 600 USD / night for a villa, the place is far too overpriced.

We arrived at about 1130 am and they could not locate my fully paid reservation with Hotels.com. - they finally saw Hotels.com's booking advice at about 2pm and we got to settle in our room by 2.45 pm. Am not sure if they deliberately delayed our check-in since the room assigned to us has not yet been cleaned.

White Rock Beach Hotel was a very terrible exsperience ,the receptionist attempted to charge me 1000 extra peso because my girl friend daughter is four years old .which was excluded from the advertisement on the internet booking. A very slick dishonest hidden fee in which serval guest was complaining about .White Rock staff did give my 1000 pesos back, but I don’t go on vacation to be swindled or attempted to be taken advantage of .There was no WiFi internet connection in my room , or my family room and only two channels on the T.V. I paid over 14000.00 pesos for two rooms .this was a terrible experience for me and my family , I highly recommend that no one bring their family to White Rock Beach and WaterPark.

The place is good, but not honest online.

We booked the hotel weeks before our stay. We booked a room for 4 persons. Hence, we thought that we paid already for 4 persons since the room was for 4 persons. The online information did not mention that we had to pay an additional amount of more than Three Thousand Pesos for two of the four persons we thought we already paid for online. This we knew only upon check-in. We were forced to pay using a credit card because we had already traveled for more than three hours from our place. Arguing would be counterproductive and stressful and would be contrary to the reason why we went to the place - which was to relax.

We find this hidden costs very deceiving to the hotel's supposedly valued customers. We were given a card of 60% discount if we use the hotel again. While our stay was good because the place is good, the 60% discount seems to be incredible.

The service was absolutely fabulous. The facilities could do with some work. And the price is a bit high for what you get (doesn't represent good value). With so many wave pools/water parks open now in Clark and San Fernando, I think Whiterock will lose some of it's appeal.

old hotel from the late 70’s sparsely remodelled.

so many things wrong w this hotel. elevator not working. internet in room not working, shower door leaking into bathroom. towels have to be traded in at front desk to get new towels ie, room towels are for pool / water park use also. only 1 key to the room, no cable tv, or movie channels...stray cats hanging around... no staff at pools to order drinks or food. could not easliy figure out water ride schedules - too erratic.

Very accomodating staff. All of them! It is typical of a Filipino to be very hospitable and it shows. Fourth floor pool side has a magnificent view of the beach and the island but the water pressure is low, it also takes a while for hot water to kick in. Bathroom uses old and dirty looking rug (towel). Bed sheets are OK but looks old as well making the room looks like a two star hotel for a price of a 4 or 5 star. No quality on the way the bathroom was finished. Grout looks pretty bad, looks like whoever inspected it after work was done does not have high standards which is pretty bad business for a hotel that is 3 or 4 times more than the most of the hotels in town but that’s just me. Everything outside of the hotel room looks really good and again, staff is very accomodating!

Not a great experience, no one clean our room. Bathroom is derty. We paid a lot of money for the hotel, 6 of us check in paid 1800 pesos per person plus our hotel rates but place us in a tiny room. All their facilities are under construction, pool are derty. Take some of my family member for a day tour for 800 pesos per person. it is not really wourth it to pay more than 30 thousand pesos for wouthless place.

When I book at Hotels.com for 1 night stay at Whiterock Beach &Hotel in Subic. In the site i book for a room that can accomodate 8pax for the room worth Php8800.00 with 2 kings bed and 1 single pull over but i was very disappointed that when I check in in the Hotel. they say that the room i book is only for 2 pax it allows only 2 pax including kids. I travel a lot and check in for a lot different hotels around the Philippines most of the room can accomodate 2 adults & 2 kids. I was very dis appointed at Whiterock Subic. Tney charge me additional Php1000.00 for the pax that will stay..
