Welcome to the Hotel Grichting-Badnerhof in Leukerbad! This family owned and managed hotel is the place to relax in a natural environment where enjoyment and well-being are combined to form a comfortable and pleasant oasis.

Our aim has always been to offer our guests an elegant and rustic atmosphere, yet with attentive service. Upon your arrival, our team will be there for you to make your experience with us wonderful and unforgettable.

Guests can now book a parking space at the time of booking for CHF 15 per day per vehicle. A member of staff will take care of dropping off and collecting the vehicle from the hotel.

After some terrible train trouble in Italy, we got here after check in was closed. I called ahead of closing and the staff were so lovely, helpful and understanding about our situation and figured out a solution for us. Pool and sauna is open 24/7 and the can also book massages at the desk on check in.

What a gem of a hotel! A real find in Leukerbad. There’s a drop off spot at the hotel for check I’m and out; otherwise, park at the Rathaus (or other paid parking).

Lovely wee place with nice staff. The restaurant is good and the breakfast worthwhile (although I’ll be honest, the coffee is subpar).

Perfect location for enjoying the town.

Bathrobes are available for 5chf deposit at the front desk. Enjoy their sauna and pool!

I was very surprised when I arrived here. The view from the room was absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Very clean and comfortable. Very large balconies too.

The staff made this hotel, the reception staff were always lovely. Great room, kettle, mini bar, etc and the pool/sauna was an added bonus. No parking but everything is so compact that it’s nearby to walk. Comfy duvets!

This hotel was a great value for the money (at least in terms of Swiss prices :). The staff spoke enough English and allowed us to store our bags there till checkin. All the facilities were clean and the room was quite modern. They also have a free sauna and pool which were very relaxing. The Leukerbad bus drops you off just a 5min walk from the hotel. Because of the walkability of the town, everything is nearby. The room didn't have an iron, fridge, fan/A/C, or microwave - all of which would have been nice. I also never found out where the laundry room was. Besides that it was great - would recommend.

The personnel was friendly and flexible with having an oversize dog against their rules (checked in advance if possible). The room was clean and silent, and the breakfast was good. The bed was too small for two friends (for couples it could be kind of ok).
There is no parking place by the hotel, we had to park at a local parkhouse for daily fees cca. 5 minutes away from the hotel.

+: Freundliches Personal, super tolle Lage, Guest Card mit der man Gratis auf die kleine Piste gehen darf!
-: Das Zimmer hatte einige Mängel: Es hat grauenhaft gestunken (Rezeption hat uns ein Raumspray gegeben), kappute Holzwand, Storen die schräg runterhingen, die aufgeklebte Folie am Tisch ist schon am zerfallen, keine Schlappen, Flecken im Badezimmer, keine Handseife. Hygiene: Bettbezug wurde NICHT gewechselt(!), hatten noch Haare am Kissen und Decken von anderen Gästen, Badetücher hatten wir schon bei der Ankunft nicht, hatten auch nie frische Tücher da auch nachdem das Reinigungspersonal zum \"putzen\" kam, in einer Woche wurde nicht einmal staubgesaugt, Kaffee, Zucker und Wasser wurde nach Lust und Laune aufgefüllt. Sind dann selbst Kaffee und Zuckersticks kaufen gegangen.
Haben 2x der Rezeption gesagt, dass es keine Badetücher in der Sauna hat. Die Frau meinte sie würde das auffüllen und dann später wieder nachschauen. Eine Stunde später als wir mit Bademantel in der Sauna standen, waren da wieder keine Tücher.
Auch für uns war das extrem mühsam ständig zur Rezeption da Tücher fehlten oder sonst was nicht in Ordnung war.
Für Bademäntel muss man neu 5.- Franken Depot pro Mantel bezahlen.
Für diesen Aufenthalt (ohne Frühstück! Das wäre dann noch 22.- pro Person. Hatten sonst immer mit Frühstück gebucht, diesmal hiess es wir hätten ohne gebucht), das stinkende, kaputte Zimmer und das Badetuch Chaos war uns der Preis einfach zu hoch.

Sehr ringhörig . Wenn Gäste nach Hause kommen und im Gang reden oder auch zu schlagende Türen.
Zimmer Reinigung : wenn die „ nicht stören „ Karte an der Türe hängt sollte nach einer gewissen Zeit nochmals kontrolliert werden und nicht nach dem ersten Versuch ein Beweis Foto gemacht werden.
Parkmöglichkeit gibt es nur in den öffentlichen Parkhäusern in Leukerbad und nicht beim Hotel!! Die Parkkarte beim Parkhaus Rathaus kann aber auf 1-3Wochen gelöst werden so dass man ungehindert immer ein und ausfahren kann. Wusste aber im Hotel niemand. Concierge Gabriel sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit 👍👍

Es ist okay, aber erwartet nicht zuviel.

Ausstattung erneuerungs bedürftig!
Kühlschrank brummt alle paar Minuten wie ein Maschinengewehr.

Fenster und Balkontür liessen sich nicht richtig schliessen.

Pantry-Küche verdreckt, Schimmel im Badezimmer an den Silikon Fugen und an der Decke.

Sehr hellhörig.

Keine Parkplätze am Hotel. Parkhäuser in der Nähe.

Schade war auch, das uns das Personal an der Rezeption nicht über die Tagespässe der Gemeinde informiert hat, erst am letzten Tag haben wir das herausgefunden. Somit hätte man viel mehr erleben können (Thermen, Bergbahnen etc..? Es gibt zwar die Vergünstigung card, aber der tagespass wäre viel interessanter gewesen.

-Zimmer entsprach leider nicht dem was wir gebucht hatten trotz abklärung vor Ort wurden wir vertröstet das es Überbucht ist.
Zimmer sind alt und zimmlich staubig.
Das Geschir im Zimmer war ebenfalls sehr schnutzig.
Im Hotel muss man Englisch sprechen um sich zu verständigen mit den Angestellten.

Meine Ehefrau und ich sind gestern (30.08.2024) Nacht um 23:30 Uhr aus Deutschland zu diesem Hotel angereist. Da die Rezeption nur bis 22:00 Uhr besetzt ist, haben wir auf dem Weg zum Hotel angerufen und angekündigt, dass wir erst nach 23:00 Uhr ankommen werden.

Daraufhin hat uns das Hotel per WhatsApp Informationen zum Zimmer, Schlüsselort, Wegbeschreibung zum Zimmer usw. zugesendet.

Auf dem Weg zum Hotel mussten wir feststellen, dass das Erreichen dieses Ortes nur über einen Autozug möglich ist. Dafür mussten wir Hin- und Rückfahrt jeweils 30 Franken, also insgesamt 60 Franken bezahlen.

Nachdem wir gegen 23:30 Uhr im Hotel ankamen, nahmen wir die Schlüssel und gingen zum Zimmer.
Als wir die Zimmertür öffneten, mussten wir feststellen, dass das Zimmer von einem männlichen Paar besetzt war. Logischerweise war das paar ebenfalls sehr erschrocken, als wir die Zimmertür öffneten. Offensichtlich wurden die falschen Chips vergeben. Daraufhin ruften wir erfolglos bei den angegebenen Nottfallnummern an.

Das Ende vom Lied war, dass ich die Nacht mit meiner frischverheirateten Ehefrau in unserem Auto verbringen mussten. Über nacht wurde es so kalt, sodass wir beide erkältet sind.
Als wir die Situation am nächsten Morgen der Rezeption geschildert haben, wollte man uns als Entschuldigung eine Wein Flasche schenken. Es wurde keinerlei Mitgefühl gezeigt!

Ich bitte das Hotel dringend darum, sich mit mir in Verbindung zu setzen und unser Geld zurückzuerstatten!!!

Super hôtel

Très bien. Hôtel se trouve en plein centre du village. Personne agréable. Piscine chauffée et sauna sont un plus. Le petit déjeuner est super et à tous les gouts. On recommande vivement.

Très bon accueil ( téléphone et arrivée). La suite était très confortable et propre. Nous avons apprécié le calme, pas de bruit. Le petit déjeuner était excellent ( beaucoup de choix). La piscine mériterait un coup de rafraîchissement. Carte avec rabais ( bains, minigolf, bus) lors du séjour.

Sehr schönes Hotel. In der Innenausstattung hat man sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben. Das Personal wirkt gestresst. Empfangsdame erklärt mir etwas, eine andere Angestellte fällt ihr ins Wort. Ohne mich zu begrüssen oder sich vorzustellen. Endliches Szenario beim Check-Out.

Schöner Kurzurlaub über Ostern.

Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, stellte und zwei Zimmer zur Auswahl, Kinderbett wurde ebenfalls zur Verfügung gestellt. Zimmer eher klein, Frühstück reichhaltig, geniessbar, aber teilweise über Ablaufdatum. Die Lage ist sehr gut und man kommt innert 5 Minuten zu Fuss zu beiden Bädern, Restaurants, Einkaufs- und Parkmöglichkeiten. Beim Hotel direkt hat es nur einen Ein-/Ausladeparkplatz.

Crans-Montana is one of the prettiest places in Valais. So the Bella Lui building, converted into a youth hostel, really lives up to its name!Bella Lui means «beautiful light» in the old Valais dialect – and it couldn't be a more fitting name.

The former sanatorium is situated on a sun-drenched plateau and rewards guests with a unique view of the Valais Alps. Here you can choose from three sun terraces and enjoy a lot of daylight thanks to the tall windows.
