Very pleasant historic and charming hotel. Beautiful decor and very nice staff (a big thank you to Rachida). The pool is quiet and relaxing. Great gift shop. The neighborhood is perfect : quiet but lovely and near the ferry dock and the restaurants.

Overnight birthday celebration.
Ours was an overnight stay for a birthday celebration. The staff were friendly, the room was spacious, and the hotel is well preserved for a historic building. The art deco salon with original furniture and stylish cocktail bar is a great place to spend time in and drink a classic cocktail. During my birthday breakfast, the waiting staff provided a surprise cake, and we were also given a fruit platter on arrival and a late checkout before departing. A memorable stay in a charming hotel.

Overnight stay in Buyukada
As part of a longer trip, my wife and I stayed at the Splendid to check out Buyukada. The hotel has great character and excellent interiors, with amazing furnishings. The staff were friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back and for longer the next time we visit Buyukada.

The hotel is very pretty, the swimming pool wonderful but I went to rest and on the night of Saturday it was disco music, very very strong, at the entrance bar and restaurant, so Icould not sleep. The music was on until 1.30 am and you listening to it like you were in the middle of a disco bar. It is an old hotel, rooms are small, expensive, and our rooms were the worst

Generally pretty expensive for the area, the photos make it seem pretty good, but it was really no where near worth the $175 a night I paid. No AC, broken electrical outlets, non-working mini fridge (that claimed was working - just slightly below room temp was considered working to them).
Its an old attractive building with a nice swimming pool and good breakfast. But that's about it.

This hotel is the go to place not only if you plan to stay in Buyukada but also if you are only visiting. The Bar and terrace is great. The breakfast buffets \"kahvalti\" is one of the bests i've had. Everything has been carefully designed and very good job has been done to keep a style all through the hotel. I recommend it very much, you will not regret it. Only one word of caution is that the rooms do not have A/C, we went in may and it was still cool, but i wonder how would it be in warmer months.

What a beautiful hotel. The service was great, the history of the building was fascinating, the staff was kind. One problem...the disco next door sounded as if it were directly under our sea view room. It went on until 3:00 am. Not cool. Otherwise, truly a stunning experience.

This an old-style but perfectly kept, *splendid* Konak... really- traditional perfection! Decor and colors are tasteful, everything is clean, spotless in fact and, very spacious. Breakfast is wonderful with plenty of fresh fruit, French pastry as well as traditional Turkish breakfast and staff was courteous. *If you are a very light sleeper request the top floor because this is an old building with wonderfully high ceilings and hardwood floors so sound travels and you may hear fellow lodgers walking above you. It didn't bother us as we live in a big old English Tudor and hear the same at home... just FYI. This is actually a rare find- truly a splendid hotel!

Ödenen fiyatla aldığınız hizmet asla uyumlu değil. Lüks otel konseptli olduğunuzu iddia ediyorsanız lüks otelde konaklama hissi vermeniz gerekiyor. Deluxia deniz manzaralı otel rezervasyonu yaptım. Özellikle doğum günü için geldiğimizi belirtmiş olmamıza rağmen ne karşılamada ne oda içinde ne de yemek rezervasyonun da bir şıklık yok. Karşılamada soğuk havlu, oda içinde herhangi bir mini ikram müşteriyi iyi hissettirecek bir jest yok. Havuz başı hizmeti yetersiz. Şezlong için süngerimiz kalmadı cevabı aldık. Ben başka boş şezlongta görüp istedim.Bira istedik 50lik bitti denildi. otel girişinde valizlerimizi alan personel ilgili ve güler yüzlüydü. Evet otel tarihi bina konsepti iç dizaynı konumu manzarası olarak çok güzel. Ancak asla lüks hizmet sunuyoruz denmemeli. Herhangi bir şehir otelinde de bu kadar ilgi görürsünüz zaten. Lüksün tanımı bu değil. Odalar yüksek tavanlı olduğu için çok ferah, ancak otelin yanında gece yarısına kadar yüksek sesle müzik çalan başka bir mekan olduğu için bütün ses oda içinde. Tarihi eser olduğu için klima olmaması çok normal ancak camlar açık olduğu için bütün gece Demet Akalın duymak zorunda kalabilirsiniz.Yemekler güzel ancak serviste de ufak tefek sıkıntılar var. Sürekli bir şey istemek zorunda kalıyorsunuz. (Buz, peçete, küllük sabah kahvaltısında çay,ayakları oynayan masaya destek vb) Bu fiyatları talep ediyorsanız lüks hizmet deneyimini müşteriye hissetirmeniz gerekli.

Herzamanki gibi mükemmel bir konaklama tecrübesi yaşadık. Karşılamadan uğurlamaya kadar herşey mkemmeldi. Tek tek çalışanların ismini veremeyeceğim ama herbiri ayrı ayrı ilgili ve kibardı. Doğumgünüm için odaya pasta göndermeleri ayrıca bir zerafetti. Odanın manzarasının güzelliğinden bahsetmiyorum bile. Ayrıca otelde çekim var rahatsız oluruz diye odamızı upgrade ettiler.

İstanbul’da yaşanan deprem nedeniyle otelde 6 kişi konaklıyordu. Sabah açık büfe kahvaltı olacağını söylediler ancak kişi sayısı az olduğu için açık büfe açmamışlar. Kahvaltıda ekmekler bayattı, ısıtıp ısıtıp getirdiler. İlave simit istediğimizde de diğer misafirlere yetecek kadar simit kaldığını söylediler. Balın yanında ne tereyağı ne kaymak yoktu. Tereyağı istedik 20 dk sonra geldi. Ayrıca küçük poğacamsı ürünlerden 2 kişilik kahvaltıda herkese birer tane düşecek şekilde koyarsın burada hepsi tekti. Dün de sıcak su yoktu odada onu da söyledik anca 45 dk sonra düzeldi. Parasını hak etmiyor.

Un endroit au charme délicat et raffiné. La décoration de l'hôtel est très soignée aussi bien à l'intérieur qu'à la piscine. Loin des palaces standardisés, ce qui vous attend ici est une expérience historique et esthétique. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et le personnel prévenant. Un endroit hors du temps à ne pas manquer.

Çok güzel ama eksikleri var
Adanın en güzel oteli. Özellikle kahvaltısı kusursuz. Ancak düzeltilmesi gereken şeyler var. Oda servisi yok. Oda servisi olmadığı halde odamızdaki buzdolabı da boştu. Geceyarısı odaya bırakılan su bitse, otelde inip kendinizin de su alabileceği bir yer açık değil. Oysa oda servisi yapılamıyorsa mini buzdolabının çeşitli içeceklerle dolu olması gerekirdi. Bu ciddi bir eksiklik bence. Havuz çok güzel ancak saat 18:00 gibi çok erken bir saatte kapanıyor. Saat 17:30'dan itibaren havuz bar görevlisi sizi uyarmaya başlıyor. Oysa yazın havanın kararma saati 21:00. En azından 20:00'ye kadar havuza girilebilmeli. Bunlar düzeltilirse bu işletme kusursuz bir hale gelecek.

Oteli seçme nedenim, ailemin 1940’larda burada kalıp, hep övgü ile bahsetmesiydi. Ailemin yaşlı bireyleri ile yaptığım konaklamada sorun, otelin yokuş bir yolda olması nedeniyle konukları taşıyacak bir shuttle’ı olmaması ve odalardaki televizyonların çalışmamasıydı. Otelin konumu, personelin güleryüzlü hizmeti, balkonun manzarası, zengin ve lezzetli kahvaltı bu sorunları unutturdu. Underbar atmosfär men…
Fantastiskt vackert hotell med underbar atmosfär och en utomordentlig frukost med utsikt över Marmarasjön och den asiatiska delen av Istanbul. Servicen och renligheten är dock något som skulle kunna förbättras. Rummet hade kaffefläckar, hår och damm och vi saknade en toalettborste i badrummet. Vid incheckningen sa dem att rummen städs dagligen men någon städning kom aldrig trots att vi bad om det 2 gånger. När vi skulle använda poolen så behövde vi be om poolhanddukar 3 gånger innan vi fick någon. Det fanns endast vatten i minibaren som ingick men vill man ha mer vatten så kostar en flaska 45tl och en serviceavgift på 10% togs ut trots att vi själva behövde hämta vattnet nere i receptionen.
Skulle servicen och renligheten förbättras så skulle jag kunna tänka mig att komma hit igen.

Gerçekten çok güzel bir deneyim yaşadık. Çalışanlar oldukça güler yüzlü ve ilgililerdi. Kahvaltısı oldukça yeterli ve lezzetliydi. Ayrıca akşam yemeğinde de burayı tercih ettik ve çok memnun kaldık. Splendid çevresindeki diğer otellere göre çok daha pahalı olsa da burada aynı zamanda deneyim de satın aldığınızı unutmamanız gerekiyor. Tarihi bir otelde konaklamak paha biçilemezdi. Tek bir eleştirimiz otelin havuzunun temizliğine ve genel olarak temizliğe dair olacak. Bu kısımda otel biraz geride kalmış gözüküyor. Ayrıca banyoların da yenilenmesi iyi olacaktır. Biz çok eğlendik, tavsiye ediyoruz.

Otel tarihi yapısı nedeniyle merak ettiğimiz bir yerdi zaten. Konaklamamızdan biz memnun kaldık, yalnızca odada yenilense daha güzel olurdu denecek şeyler vardı tabiki ama otelin eski olması ve tarihi yapı statüsünde olması nedeniyle bu kısmı normal karşıladık. Yalnızca belki oda içerisinde misafir konforunu arttıracak ekstra eklemeler yapılabilirdi, dolu minibar vs gibi.
