Staff were very helpful. The hotel arranged airport transfer was waiting for us as we exited the airport, could not have been easier. Check-in was efficient and our room was clean. Roof terrace overlooks the Giza Pyramids. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. We were a party of 9 but they handled it with ease.

When we arrived we were told of a problem with the water and placed in another property...Kanz Boutique which was dirty and needed repair. The rooms needed a good cleaning and the bathrooms needed sanitization. Sheets were not changed during our stay.

The staff are very accommodating and pleasant. Clean rooms. Breakfast is good. But be aware: there are plenty of camels and horses parked in this area surrounding the hotel--lets just say walking was like tiptoe-ing around animal droppings...and there will be numerous on the ground. I wanted to go up the rooftop to see the Giza pyramids view, but I cannot get past the smell of the aformentioned droppings. Just wanted to let you know my experience. Lovely hotel, staff, and clealiness is 5/5--except the area around the hotel.

Our stay at Pyramids On The Spot View was simply amazing! The hotel has an incredible view of the Giza Pyramids, especially from the rooftop it’s the perfect place to relax, take photos, and enjoy breakfast or sunset. The rooms were clean, new, and very comfortable, offering everything we needed for a perfect stay.

The staff were exceptionally kind, helpful, and welcoming, always making sure we felt at home. They also helped us arrange tours and transportation, which made exploring Cairo easy and enjoyable.

We truly appreciated the great hospitality and excellent service. Thank you to everyone at Pyramids On The Spot View for making our visit unforgettable we can’t wait to come back again!

I absolutely loved the location of this stay! The proximity to the pyramids was amazing and made for incredible views from the rooftops. I loved being in walking distance to local restaurants & shops too!
The hotel manager, Heba, went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay! Not just at the hotel, but as a local guide who took us on great tours. She was huge in contributing to this being such a memorable stay! I felt safe & cared for with the hotel staff helping us with transportation and local recommendations. This was a wonderful introduction to Giza & I cannot wait to return! Definitely a good value for the price.

This property has an amazing location with a rooftop restaurant that has a nice view of the pyramids. The manager Heba was exceptional in helping us book our excursions and arrange transportation for us. She is a liscensed guide and assited us on several tours, we absolutely enjoyed our tours with her and hope to do more in the future. This is an exceptional value for the location, and their are restaurants and shopping all within a 5 min walk.

A special thank you to Hossam for his amazing hospitality and care. He made us feel completely welcome and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The tours arranged by the hotel were also fantastic well organized, informative, and perfectly timed.

The rooftop view of the pyramids was breathtaking, especially at sunset. We truly enjoyed every moment and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend Pyramids On The Spot to anyone visiting Egypt!

I had an amazing experience staying at Pyramids On The Spot! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are modern, spacious, and have everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The view of the pyramids is unbelievable you can literally see them from the rooftop while enjoying breakfast or tea. The hotel also offers fantastic tours and travel services; everything was perfectly organized, with professional guides and comfortable transportation. They helped us see the best of Cairo and Giza without any stress.

The service overall was excellent every detail was taken care of with care and a smile. It’s clear that the team truly loves what they do. If you want a clean, friendly, and perfectly located hotel near the pyramids, Pyramids On The Spot is the best choice. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone!

Rooms are really small. No safety deposit boxes in the rooms. However, We like how most of the staff interact with us. They are polite. Having said that, there are a few incidents where they failed to keep their commitments/promises to us. A couple of examples; we purchased all our tours with them. One of our tours is ac3 hour travel to the city of Alexandria. They promise us a van since there is 6 of us. But to our disappointment, they gave us a small SUV which made our travel very uncomfortable as 6 people a driver and a tour guide cramp inside this small vehicle. Secondly, they promise to prepare our packed breakfast to bring with us to the airport since we are leaving early. Instead, no one prepared our breakfast. The night before they promise to include in our packed breakfast. boiled egg, laughing cow cheese, bread with cheese, strawberry jams, etc. and a hot coffee before we leave. But it’s just an empty promise. They send us an apology through email and what’s up. But we know that they don’t meant it.

Mahmoud and the staff were very accommodating. The facilities were clean and in good order. The room was comfortable and the shower was wonderful. The area around the hotel is somewhat complicated, so it was difficult to find the entrance to the property at first attempt. I would recommend this hotel for another stay.

The view from the rooftop was great! The hotel had no water or electricity for over a day! When I asked for a refund they handed me a bottle of water. No showers no a/c and it was 105 plus degrees!

We arrived at the hotel after a late flight with a great start... We had an excellent driver collect us and when we checked in we were shown to our room and taken upstairs for a complementary drink on the rooftop with an amazing view of the pyramids. Shortly after going to our room in 36-40° summer temps the power shut down so the heat was terrible and kept shutting off during our stay, the wifi also kept shutting off and even when the power was on was mostly not working. The water was shut off the entire day we stayed and there was no communication from the staff on how long it would be before it was fixed. Resturant didnt display prices and charged 3x what you would have paid anywhere else. Wouldn't stay again.

Loved the room and the staff. The street is right beside the pyramids which has pros and cons. The smell of the camels and horses living on the street are the cons. The roof top doesn't have a fully operational restaurant and is not enclosed for air conditioning. That would be a good modification. We couldn't stay up there for more than 5 minutes it's so hot. But our family room was lovely and comfortable. Staff was very helpful.

This is a great budget hotel for the price. Note you pay for food and drink at 1st world hotel prices, so plan accordingly. Housekeeping is extra and upon request. However, it has the best view of the Spinx and pyramids and the gate to the Giza complex is a short 5-minute walk through child hawkers selling Knick knacks and tour touters selling packages. Everyone is trying to sell you something so prepare yourself for that too.

Ask the hotel manager Ahmed to make some tour arrangements for you but go to GetYourGuide first to get a sense of the prices. We had a great guide through the hotel, Islam, very knowledgeable and charismatic. He’s well travelled too so can draw lots of comparisons for you. We went to the bazaar in old Cairo and then to the Grand Museum. Timed everything well.

The hotel itself is very clean but the street itself has camels going up and down all day and there is a couple local butchers nearby with live chickens. Remember you’re not in Kansas anymore! Meat doesn’t come on styrofoam trays and camels are live animals! Go to the main street to find sodas and snacks. The seller next door to the hotel has steep foreigner prices. Regarding some of the lower ratings you will find on the hotel, I think people had some unrealistic expectations for a budget travel hotel. It’s clean, safe, and the AC works fantastic. But manage your expectations for the price you pay, be realistic. And smile at the staff, they are kind people.

Mr. Ahmed's service was excellent, and the drivers who picked me up at the airport were very attentive. The tours they arranged for me were exceptional. I am very pleased with the experience I had. The rooms are very comfortable and modern. The service was remarkable. 1) Airport pickup by an incredible personal driver, Fero. 2) Excellent breakfast and lunch cooked by Sultan, my go to help for everything Egypt. Sultan's primary priority is to make sure your stay in the hotel and in Egypt is your best experience ever, and he did a great job! 3) I was able to book all my tours through the hotel (Nile Cruise, visited all Pyramids, a day trip to Alexandria, and a visit to Egyptian Grand Museum all of which joined by your personal exceptional Egyptologist, Alaa). The hotel takes care of everything for an incredibly low price (I kept wondering how in the world are they turning a profit). Lastly, the location is your best option if you want great service, a friendly and helpful staff, good food, and a great view of the Pyramids from your hotel's restaurant roof deck (I attached pictures). As a bonus, KFC and Pizza Hut are only a 4 mins walk from the hotel. Pyramids On the Spot Hotel made my trip to Egypt one of my most memorable (and I already visited 4 other ancient monuments in Beijing , Rome, UK, and the US ). Five star hotel for an incredibly low price.

View of the Pyramids from the Terrace is spectacular. Chef Sultan made us great vegetarian breakfast and lunch during our visit. Convenient tour arrangements made it stress free with great staff and tour guides for the Pyramids and Luxor tours. Airport pick up was easy and convenient. Great experience for a last minute trip.

The hotel is in a perfect spot for access to the Giza pyramids. It is basically a couple of minutes to walk to the ticket office and entrance. The hotel is in the middle of the old streets of Giza with camels, horses and carts mixed in. From the minute we entered the hotel, the staff were excellent. Very accommodating and helpful. Tito at the front desk helped us arrange to get our luggage that did not arrive in Cairo and was also a wealth of information. The front desk staff were always friendly and attended to all of our needs. The room was very clean and comfortable. The rooftop restaurant provides an impressive view of the pyramids and Assem, the chef, is extremely friendly, helpful with information and made us feel very welcome. His food is also delicious. He also accommodated our son who has celiac. We loved being able to learn about Giza from the people who live nearby and work at the hotel. We would give it a very high recommendation for anybody spending time in Giza. It is about 45-60 minutes from the Cairo airport and if you like to go to the pyramids each day, it is a preferable option to staying in Cairo and travelling back and forth. We spent 4 nights at the hotel and would go back anytime.

The entire staff of Pyramids On The Spot View were extremely welcoming and very kind to me during my week in Giza. The food was excellent. I wish I could have stayed longer as my travel time to Egypt took a lot out of me. I slept great. The view on the roof during breakfast and dinner was extraordinary, as with each day I was looking at a scene that I had only seen in pictures or on videos. The view alone is worth the price of an airplane ticket. If you take away the pyramids, other sites and museums and are only left with the people of Giza and Cairo, the trip is as valuable as any. When I go back I will stay at Pyramids On The Spot View again.
