We booked two rooms but when we arrived, the hotel could only find the booking for one room. While they did resolve the issue, the customer service wasn’t great. The front reception staff could definitely do with some customer service training. We were told that a wedding had been booked and that it would be noisy on the Saturday night. It was VERY noisy in the Friday night. A full domestic argument took place outside our room. Considering we made this booking in October 2022, I think the hotel should have told us prior to checkin that a wedding would be taking place and that there would be a lot of noise. It’s a bit late to tell you that once you are checking in. The way they told us was with a tone of ‘like it or lump it’.

The price the hotel provided for a wedding party was more expensive than on other sites. The staffing on site was bare minimum . Lady on reception was not interested in assisting customers . Room was tired stains on window sill . No fridge even though there is a cupboard for it not a four star hotel . Breakfast was good though

We had a lovely weekend break. A very clean relaxing and comfortable hotel. We would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and egg’s cooked to order, we ate in the restaurant on Saturday evening, good honest food at a reasonable price.

Very welcoming hotel with clean rooms, there is everything you need… However the service is shocking, you que to get checked in, we want to the bar to order food and after 10 min of no one arriving decided to try the restaurant. Again 10 min after being seated without our drink orders being taken we decided to go to the amazing pub down the road

Breakfast ok, sausages rubbish, the only good thing is they would cook your egg to order.

Very nice one night stay. We stayed on the evening of the Queen's funeral, so the hotel was very quiet but fine. There is plenty of space outside so fine for outside eating and hotel is set up for ordering drinks and food via QR code from the table. Executive room TV had a number of channels which did not work but this was not a problem to us.

There wasn't much natural light in the room - one small window with a view of the adjacent rooftop.
We were skipping housekeeping services due to Covid, and a nice touch was that they left replacement toiletries/coffee/etc in a bag on the door each day without any need to request it.
The bathroom wasn't great - the shower water temperature was very unstable (went scalding hot if you turned on the cold tap at the basin), the toilet was leaning to one side (and didn't flush very well), there was a ton of black mold on the shower head that I had to clean off with a towel.

We stayed one night at Donnington Manor Hotel and we were very impressed, it is set in lovely surroundings and the hotel is beautiful and very clean, we will definitely be staying here again, we checked in with no problems and the staff were extremely polite friendly and helpful.

Lovely Hotel for Our Anniversary
Modern hotel with an Indian feel on the outskirts of Sevenoaks and located close to the M25/M26.
Plenty of free onsite parking with EV charging including Tesla Supercharger.
Had told them it was for our wedding anniversary, and they had kindly spread rose petals and made shapes with towels.
We had asked for a quiet room, and we were located at the end of the top floor on the opposite side to the car park. Generally worked well, but the inter-room walls were not very sound proofed, and a guest was talking for about 2 hours after midnight - luckily, we had bought earplugs.
Air conditioning worked well, and the bathroom had a walk-in shower. Toiletries were provided but no shower gel, so we purchased some at a local shop.
Wi-Fi was good offering 10 Mbit/sec which was enough for streaming HD. TV was next to useless with poor picture and sound on many channels, but not a major loss as we didn't stay to watch TV. Reported on departure.
Just a warning - if you are tall then the TV is wall mounted at the end of the bed and I kept catching my head on it. I eventually learned to lean over as I went past.
Bar and Restaurant particularly good but beware the low ceilings in the older restaurant area. Had a well-prepared meal for our anniversary and particularly enjoyed my filet steak and Creme Brulé.

We have stayed at this property on several occasions but were somewhat concerned at the lower standard of cleanliness in communal areas. Some of the carpets are showing obvious signs of wear. Otherwise adequate and convenient for our needs.

On arrival it took some time for anyone to come to check us in at reception. There is an bell, but despite pressing that a few times, no one came. Eventually a receptionist did come to the counter with her dinner.

After dinner which was genuine adequate, we went to our room. At about 10pm a buzzing started in the ceiling behind an electrical panel. It stopped after about five minutes and we hoped that was the end of it. Unfortunately at midnight it happened again and this time woke us up, and just as I was about to call reception after a few minutes it stopped.
At 2am the same thing happened. I tried to call reception using the room phone , which was not working. I ended up using my mobile to call the hotel, and someone did come up to the room a while later. He agreed that the buzzing sounded like some sort of electrical fault, and he would log it in the morning. We protested, and he agreed to move us to another room on the floor above. No apology though

We were warned of a party next day and given a ground floor room away from any noise and heard nothing! Room clean but toilet near restaurant grubby and NO hand dryers at all just tissues!! Breakfast very poor-open cereals apart from Weetabix-hot food not replaced regularly-no fresh fruit on our second day! We had an evening meal on our first evening in the restaurant-uninspiring menu and just 2 tables !! We discovered a pub just 5 minutes on foot away which we visited second night-good food and atmosphere! Don’t have hotel breakfast-not worth it!

The hotel was quiet and clean, the staff were friendly and the bed was extremely comfortable. We did not have an evening meal there so cannot comment on the menu but breakfast was delicious. I would make a point of staying at Donnington Manor again (not something I would say about the majority of hotels I have stayed in) and I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

The guy at reception was not particularly welcoming and despite advertising that they took Amex, they did not. The room was fine, breakfast was OK. The bar tender was friendly, but there was no waiter service, although he did bring us our drinks. However, there were only two tables that needed serving and the first night the bar closed10.30pm.

Dissapointed that the room was not serviced when we arrived back late on our second day, but I suppose that could have been our own fault as we did not put the make up room notice on the door. I expected that for a four star hotel that would have been done as a matter of course, so no clean towels, no extra tea/coffee/sugar etc.

Clean and very comfortable room with a huge bed, storage space and a very nice bathroom. Its location close to the motorway but on the edge of a nice town made it an ideal stopover. It was also located well for running, with pavement all the way into the town. The one downside was that the service was poor at dinner (possibly understaffing) and the majority of staff were maybe not the friendliest.
