Place was fine, in general. The heat was too much for me. I finally called the front desk and a lady came up and unlocked the window. Even with the window open and the heat off it was hot. I would have liked to hit the nice gym if it wasn’t so hot as well. Breakfast was good. Staff attempted to help with the use of a translator.

The room is clean. The lady who cleaned the room daily, Qu Ji Hong did an excellent job. However, the internet connection is on the slow side. As for the breakfast buffet, the selection is fairly decent, mostly the same variety of food during our one week stay. Hygiene could be improved. I noticed one of the chefs coughed without covering his mouth while he was preparing the food.

The room was very clean. There were hardly any amenities in the room, just 2 cups and a pot to heat water. In the bathroom we were given soaps & dental products. The shower had great pressure and hot water. The Hotel is old, you can tell by the stone slaps falling off the side the bathtub. The wooden compartments chipping and despite their best attempts the stains on the carpet in the hallway. The staff in the other hand was beyond fantastic. They were very polite, respectful and always smiling willing to help righr away. The grade of 85 was only given due to the age of the hotel & co dirion of my room. Value for dollar this was a great hotel. I would recommend if you're trying to save mpney.

I stayed there for a few nights. The overall experience was positive. Nice and spacious rooms and good cleaning everyday. But there was some sort of smell once you turned on the AC. The circulation didn't seem to work and heat/cool didn't seem to function well.
The hotel restaurants had limited selections and a little pricey for very simple foods.
But overall I enjoyed my stay there.

We have to change rooms due to the smoke/mold smell of the assigned room. The second room was slightly better but still smelly and the bathroom sink faucet was loosely dangling around the sink. We did not both changing the room again and who knows what the third room would be like. The breakfasts were good and enjoyed the variety.The location is also good and it’s less than 100 yard from the subway entrance.

I booked this hotel for 5 nights because on the website it shows there is a gym and swimming pool facility, however, when i arrived on 4/15, we were told that the gym center and swimming pool is closed until mid-May. I was so shock and kinda frustrated. Seem like wasting my money and stay in the hotel which is not suitable to me at all. If i was told the facility is closed, I definitely won’t select this hotel, and i think expedia also is responsible to let the customer know the hotel updated situation and inform the customer

The hotel is under renovation, no heat no air conditioning. Either feel 30 degrees in the room or they will open the window for you then it’s probably only 10 degrees at night. Breakfast needs to have WeChat to buy, inconvenience. First night was out of hair conditioner, second night was out of tissues. Terrible experience

We loved our stay! The hotel is right outside of a subway station, next to multiple malls and shopping areas, which is super convenient. Other than the outdated tiny TV and having no hooks in the spacious bathroom, it’s a great place to stay in BJ! Right next to the subway, 3rd ring, and surrounded by mall and wonderful food courts, it offers great views of the heart of CBD and complete silence when rests in the room! Excellent value for sure!

The hotel is dated, but the cleanliness is so terrible, there’s food particles from last customer, and there’s lots of hair on the carpet,I’m not request for a brand new carpet but at least it should be cleaned. Quilt is wet due to rainy days in Beijing, I do understand but I’m not feeling comfortable. Location, transportation and staffs are great.

The front desk service staff was extremely rude and had a bad attitude. I had just moved from another hotel and left my passport in my check in luggage and didn't have it with me at the desk. Firstly she was annoyed when we could not speak Mandarin and rolled her eyes when we looked confused. Next, instead of explaining nicely that she needed the passport for check in, she raised her voice and gave an extremely annoyed face that I need to go to the luggage and get the passport or I cannot check in. Her name is He An (along those lines). The whole time she was processing our check in she was very unhappy and giving us attitude. It was an extremely unpleasant experience especially since we had just moved from another hotel after a long day. I will definitely not stay here again due to poor service standards.

Generally good hotel but like most Beijing hotels these days few staff speak English. This shouldn’t be a problem and is normal these days, just don’t expect to be able to ask for advice from the concierge. Good breakfast and Chinese restaurant, bar is very expensive. Overall cheaper than the Jen and Kerry hotels but much cheaper unless they are on offer almost as good as these two and probably better than anything else in the area.

Good hotel in a good location. Check in was easy and concierge service very good. I was slightly concerned from reviews about difficulty in communication, but I didn’t have this at all. Some receptionists speak a little less English than others, but if so, they get other assistance from other hotel staff. Easy to get taxis and malls/7/11 shop within walking distance. One of the best gyms I used in China - good selection of free weights, cables and weight/cardio machines.

Overall stay is ok. Customer Services training on how to response questions raised by hotel guests in a better manner is highly recommended to management especially for the senior doorman. Besides, please check the cleanliness in the shower room as one of the shower heads is covered with a layer of dried-up brownish mold.

The property has a beautiful lobby and the staff was great. There was a cockroach in the bathroom which lived under the cabinets. There was an absolute illusion of grandeur but a lot was over blown.

We stayed for seven-nights in a Club Room at the Grand Millennium Beijing and we absolutely loved it. The location is fantastic in that, it is right next to Subway Line 10, JinTaiXiZho Station Exit A. There are escalators and even an elevator at exit A, so we managed to arrive and depart with our luggage without too much difficulty.

The room was large with a small sitting area, large wardrobe, many sets of draws, bedside draws with lighting, luggage storage space, desk and chair, laptop compatible safe and free WiFi. We received four bottles of water each day, juice, drinks and beer replenished each day and tea and coffee making facilities. The room supplied shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shaving gear, cotton swab and buds, umbrella, scales, slippers, robes, shoe polish etc.,

The bathroom was large with separate bath, shower, toilet and sink. There were plenty of mirrors including magnifying mirror, an iron and ironing board, large TV with English channels. The bed was extremely large and comfortable.

We ate all our breakfasts and dinner at the lounge and on some days even afternoon tea. The staff at the lounge was excellent. The cleanliness in the rooms and the lounge was very good. The range of food and drinks in the lounge was good.
