Can't believe we were staying in the same hotel as the British Prime Minister during his visit to China. It's definitely a smart choice. Great location with easy access to everywhere. Lots of choices for good food and wine within the complex and a covered walkway to malls, which is key during this freezing winter season. We stayed at the club floor which is highly recommended with made to order breakfast, snacks all day and a highly delicious buffet cocktail from 5:30 to 7:30pm where you could skip dinner. Everyone at the club floor is really helpful and nice. You will definitely feel pampered. Micheal, Ava with beautiful smiles and I forgot to ask for the name of the young lady in the morning shift who tried her best to help us with restaurant bookings plus all other requests. Bars are another highlight. Centro in the lobby with live music and we saw the prime minister there too. Another one is Vinotheque if you prefer something quiet. Wine selection is excellent at reasonable price. What's more, they gave 30% discount for bottles below RMB3000. Can't wait to come back

Stayed here for 4 nights. House keeping service was great - helped to even organize my stuff and dry my swim suit. However front lobby staff needs improvement. Instead of helping to press elevators they stood there and stared at guests which at times felt uncomfortable. Bed in king room was super big and my room had great view of the cctv building.

The hotel is very easily accessible. However, there is many room for improvement in terms of hygiene and service. There are many hairs often seen on the carpet. Also, (1) staff will rush in front of you to get the things he wants to eat at the breakfast buffet counter and (2) will shove you aside at the check-in counter despite her colleague is in process of doing the check in for you.

This hotel is located in the center of the CBD, the lobby is spacious and welcoming and the check in was smooth, but seemed that the reception is understaffed as I had to line up to check in and check out. The gym/sports center is worth the visit and the hotel amenities are very good. However, the management should pay attention to the freshness of food at Kerry Kitchen. I spent three meals eating at the same restaurant and realised that a lot of the food has been recycled the next day, the dessert and bread are all either stale or too dry.

The currency exchange at the Kerry hotel Beijing gave us counterfeit RMB, when we tried reporting to the front desk staff (Jackie) he blamed us. several theory he shoved down out throat 1. the taxi driver switched our money, someone else gave it to us. It was very scary the level of blame they put on us. As Canadian in China we did not want to push the issue and end up losing most of the money we travelled with. No reasonable attempt to help us. Just told us the money did not come from them. This is the only place we exchanged money, and at no other time did anyone else had contact with our money.

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel. The service is wonderful. The room is luxurious and the bed is very comfortable. I recommend the club upgrade. Between breakfast, afternoon snacks and a happy hour of hot and cold food as well as cocktails (5:30-8 pm) you really don’t need to incur any other meal expenses. The mini bar is also included. The hotel is in a great location as well.

Overall, it was a great stay. Check-in was fast, the front desk did manage to speak some little english, manageable in terms of basic communication. Room was spacious and clean, the fruit bowl as well as the complimentary mini fridge in the room were great adds. The hotel is rather busy, hotel looks to host a bunch of events/conferences so be prepared to see a hotel full of people (there were two events during my 3 nights)

Location is well centered across a variety of shopping malls (hotel is also attached to a shopping mall as well) and about 5-10min walk away from the subway (Guomao station). P;enty of restaurant, cafe etc nearby and all walkable.

TIP: Request a room farther away from the elevator, it is quite loud and almost feels like someone is ringing your doorbell every time someone uses the elevator.

Great hotel close to shopping and offices.

This hotel is right smack in the centre of the business district and next to one of the largest shopping mall complexes in the country.

The sevice is excellent, easily one of best I have seen in recent years. The room fell short of expectation - it was a little small - but still comfortable and tastefully decorated.

Overall a very pleasant place to stay.

Excellent hotel stayed in a club floor and used the club lounge several times. Staff excellent always helpful and friendly. The only downside was the internet very poor.
As a club foot guest you could use Kerry kitchen on the ground floor for breakfast the choice was great.

I do a lot of travelling for work both internationally and abroad and I think this is just about my favourite hotel. Modern rooms with great décor and well designed. The bathroom is great. The rooms had plenty of powerpoint and USB outlets everywhere making it easy to connect all devices. Great value and great location.

Stayed four five nights in a twin room with my family (wife + 8y/o & 10 y/o). Beds were not really big enough for two adults. Free mini bar, was nice but the offerings were limited.
Also, I was on 6th floor but would have preferred higher for a better view of CCTV HQ building and area. Also, Kerry is in a very corporate part of town. Not a lot to see if you want to go for a walk.
That said, the Kerry shopping mall & China World Mall next door had some very good dining options.
The service at Kerry likewise was excellent. At concierge and the restaurant particularly. Great 2 for 1 drinks in lobby bar was a nice surprise.
Otherwise this hotel was great value for the quality you get. Very pleased with our stay.

Kerry Hotel is amazing- near the subway- in the cbd- very quiet indoors- wonderful friendly helpful staff who mostly could speak some English. The room and bathroom were huge modern and spotless. There a limited but free mini bar as well as apples every day in the room :) Kerry Beijing Hotel was a great experience and I will definitely stay there again .

Incompetent service at The Horizon

We had an important business dinner at The Horizon Chinese restaurant, where we booked a room and very often, there was no one in the room to serve us. We were constantly ignored and disregarded by the waiting staff. There were also no tea refills as the staff can't be asked or bother to make a minimal effort; we therefore had to constantly help ourselves with the tea while they keep taking the teapot away every time they came in.

In terms of the food, they disregarded the arrangements for the timing of food being served. Their failure to comply caused us a lot of embarrassment and frustration as they keep sending food back to the kitchen. Eventually, they served us with reheated food, which were all over cooked. In particular, half of the the coconuts of the chicken soup in coconuts ordered were very old and inedible.

The food and service of the restaurant was not as expected at all.

The food experience at Kerry's Kitchen was absolutely terrible. Their food and especially the Hainanese chicken rice was the worst I've ever had in my life. The chicken was over cooked so it was very tough, where the rice was literally soaked in oil. It came along with an extremely salty msg soup. Moreover, their so called offers on the menu is a complete misrepresentation, where the staff argued and lied about their pricing despite having a giant advertisement board placed in front of the restaurant. This is hospitality at its worst when the staff were atrociously rude and accusative to the guest. Despite the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms, this single experience of poor attitudes and bad food has given this stay a one star rating.

Very disappointing as they lie and argue about the pricing. Travellers beware.

Excellent place to rest in busy city.

This is a wonderful business hotel. The room was large, quiet, and very clean. The staff were brilliant. The food was very good, with Western and Asian choices. It is a five to ten minute walk to the Metro and the Silk Market, but walk with Chinese people, as cars will run lights and hit you in the crosswalks (in all of China). The hotel desk staff are very helpful. The deli is quite good and the bakery is excellent. There is a Tesco mini-store in the basement level of the attached mall. The room has fridge, but no microwave.

Hi end hotel, very comfortable and clean, decor all very understated and tasteful. Good sized pool with separate baby pool, open 6am till late; extensive gym open 24 hours. Minibar was included in room rate, which was a nice touch. Fantastic breakfast buffet with plenty of choice of both Western and Asian options, including decent coffee (only disappointments were that tea was super weak and butter was not fresh/rancid). [One comment for the management: it was painful to watch the front desk staff bending over a waist high counter during check-in. Please adjust the layout of your check-in desk so that staff can work comfortably while standing or sitting. The current set up would be illegal in many countries.]

Hotel is convenient, but food and wifi is not goo

I had breakfast during my stay, but i found the food is not fresh and not good.
The wifi connection is also not stable or even bad in the hotel for business stay.
The rest in terms of comfort and cleaniness are good.
