This is the most ridiculously awesome hotel!! It’s like an art gallery/museum with art absolutely everywhere, themed suites, and connected to a glorious mall also featuring incredible art, a great selection of shops and crafts, and unlimited fantastic photo opps. Each room has such fun surprises - a lamp that you “shoot” to turn on and off - and a robot delivered my extra water bottle to my door!!!

This Hotel Éclat Beijing is very amazing, room is very nice and clean. We stayed at room with indoor terrace which is very stylish design and cozy. Staffs can speak English fluently, very friendly and helpful. The hotel is full of wonderful art pieces dipalyed everywhere so you can enjoy staying here like being in fine art museum (surprisingly lots of Salvador Dali pieces here). Location is in center of city with nearby metro station, make it super easy to go around. Overall after staying here for one week, this hotel is extraordinary impressive in every aspects and it easily can be the most stylish hotel in the whole Beijing city. Highly reccommend.

Hotel Eclat was our first stop on a long journey through China and it was amazing!

The hotel is a SERIOUS artistic boutique hotel putting on display some glamorous art pieces in both the lobby, adjacent luxury mall (wonderful shopping) and building grounds! You will not stop taking photos around every corner!

The staff knew enough English to make us feel very comfortable and was super friendly in all our interactions.

The restaurant had by far the best buffet breakfast we had on our entire trip! Everything was fresh and delicious with so much variety! We missed it so much!!

The rooms were interesting as they had these comfy terraces that looked down onto the amazing adjacent luxury mall. The air conditioning was nice and really quiet, but we couldn’t control it.

TIP - ROOM TYPE : If sleep is really important, you might NOT want to do a terrace room as the adjacent rooms might have loud visitors on the terrace and keep you up till morning (our experience). Soundproofing is minimal.

Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Stylish Hotel, but Breakfast Policy Confusing

We recently stayed at Éclat Hotel in Beijing and overall had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is beautifully designed, with a unique art-inspired atmosphere and a luxurious, boutique feel.

The rooms were spacious, stylish, and spotless—everything felt clean and well-maintained. Service was professional and friendly throughout our stay. The location is also great, with easy access to shopping and dining nearby.

One issue we had was with the breakfast. We booked two rooms for four adults and one child via Hotels.com, and the booking stated that everything was covered. However, upon arrival, we were informed that breakfast was only included for four guests. It was a bit disappointing, especially since we had booked for five people in total and the reservation system didn’t make this limitation clear.

Aside from that, everything else was smooth and enjoyable. We'd definitely consider staying here again, but would recommend double-checking breakfast policies in advance.

We were excited by this unique hotel, especially for Beijing. However we must say that perhaps they’re “trying a bit too hard”. Too many remote controls in the room, an iPad for hotel services that didn’t work, a restaurant closed for renovation, the only bar in the hotel, not to mention the very upscale mall adjacent without a bar/lounge, and weak offerings for afternoon tea made the rather high price questionable

The whole experience at the hotel was out of this world. We got pampered, got a tour of the place and its vast art collection, the room was beautifully themed (Harry Potter style!), And we could not get enough of the terrace and the private pool. By far one of the besr hotels we stayed at.

It was terrible. I stay at a hotel in Beijing almost every weekend while on business and I was excited to try them out. Usually I stay at the intercontinental which is amazing. I thought I’d try something different and was disappointed. The room has thin walls and I could hear someone on the phone in the middle of the night. I called downstairs and nothing was done about it. They also turned the AC off centrally since it was hot in Beijing... to save their own power costs... without telling the guests. So my room went from too hot to too cold non stop all night! It was awful.

Artsy hotel in a shopping mall. My room was very small and overlooking the mall itself. At a different leg on the same trip, I stayed at The Four Seasons, also in Beijing, with a very similar price. Room was more than double the size, overlooking the city, and staff was much more knowledgeable and friendly. I love art but think that overpaying for bicycles in the corridor is not a good deal.

I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and it's overall a good experience. The staff during check in is very helpful and they will accompany the guests to the room.

The room is quite clean although I found a long hair on the water sink, I'm pretty sure it's not mine as my hair is quite short.

The breakfast is really good, it's included in the price and you can order western and Chinese style breakfast as well as enjoy buffet.

the food at LG2 is really expensive, I would say, but comparing to the food in HK, it's not as good, so beat it.

Wonderful, unique hotel!

This is a beautiful, luxurious hotel connected to an upscale mall. The staff are very friendly and eager to accommodate in any way. Tony and Stark were particularly helpful. The hotel is filled with art, antiques, and unusual items, such as a display of bicycles from designers like coach. A welcoming cup of tea is served at check-in, and afternoon tea with lovely desserts is served daily on the 16th floor. The immediate neighborhood is not impressive but it's easy to get anywhere else by taxi or subway. I would definitely stay here again.

Best Hotel in Beijing and probably China

We have stayed in hundreds of hotels and it is rare to experience the ‘wow effect’ having stayed in many of the best hotels in the world.

It happened with Eclat! You have to experience it in-person to understand the confluence of design, atmosphere, accommodation, amenities, eco-sensitive feature and friendly professional staff that makes it a ‘wow’ experience.

After a warm welcome and efficient check-in by Krystal, we met Katrina, who was the duty Manager the day we arrived, and she upgraded us to an exceptionally well designed high tech room with a terrace which was much appreciated.

Katrina then personally took us on a 45 minute tour of the hotel covering its history and the amazing collection of sculptures and paintings on six floors as well as the Harry Potter and Presidential Suites.

The accommodation is exceptionally well designed with a comfortable bed, relaxing massage chair, power shower and fast filling deep bath, highly automated toilet, fully furnished spacious terrace and lots of technology to make it work effectively.

All guest also have access to all-day Lounge with an excellent buffet and a la cart breakfast options and very good afternoon tea. Guests can also enjoy an alcoholic beverage in the bar every evening.

Thank you Eclat team for an amazing experience.

I stayed for one night and loved every minute of the stay. Visually it's a beautiful hotel. The artwork is world class and each floor has it's own unique theme. The room was on the 16th floor and was well laid out with everything needed including a few extras like a massage chair, fruit bowl and a mid-afternoon home made snack delivered to the room. Breakfast was amazing - a great selection and superb service. The team who work here do make an effort to make you feel welcome which is something you don't see a lot of in China. This is a classy hotel and worth every penny. It's not cheap but if you want to experience something different then I highly recommend. Thank you to the team at Eclat.

Our stay thoroughly exceeded our expectations in every way. The premises are simply fascinating because of the incredible amount of artistic masterpieces exhibited throughout. The rooms are very modern and spacious. The food caters to those not familiar with Chinese food as much as it does for those who are. Super Pleased Of Our Stay Again - Thank you Eclat!

This is the second time we stayed at Hotel Eclat. Love it!

Our family stayed at one deluxe suite with the terrace, and a standard room, all very clean and very happy. Great staff, and friendly, helpful, and very good service all around.

The location of the hotel could not be better. The mall in the same building has several good food places such as xiao dadong, the peking duck was wonderful. and Ding TaiFeng was good as always.

Great moves of the art work - my daughter got a kick out of telling where the art work was last year and what is new what got moved, she totally enjoyed seeing new arts, but also revisited the pieces that we have seen last time.

Will stay here again for our future trips to Beijing.

The hotel didnt have a proper concierge desk or a spa (would be nice if it did!). I was happy with the stay but the next time would pick something else (Rosewood or some hotel with a view).

Coolest Hotel in Beijing

Hotel Eclat was a pleasure to stay in for 7 nights. The hotel was filled with many pieces of wonderful art but it never felt gaudy. Our room was plenty big enough--especially the bathroom and its \"smart\" toilet. The staff was helpful and courteous but not overly friendly. The hotel doesn't nickel and dime you by charging you for the bottled water in your room. The location is a little bit away from the main attractions but taxis in Beijing are really cheap. It cost like 20 yuan ($3) to get to the Forbidden City.

Great comfort hotel .... lack soul and passion.

Spoke to the GM on my bad checkin experience. However I was impressed with the quick response made by both GM and FO manager to speak to me about it.
No other problems during my 4 night stay.
Great property, some quality staff, but overall a pretenious , soulless hotel. Most likely won't stay again. Strange and a pity since the Taipei hotel although less grand is 100% better made possible by the beautiful staff there.

Luxury Modern Art Hotel

If you love luxury and/or modern art then this is the hotel you should stay. Everywhere you turn in this hotel there is a interesting piece of art work. Walking through the hotel is like walking through your own personal art gallery. The Deluxe Room with Terrace was huge and the terrace provided a nice area to relax and unwind. The staff was friendly and helpful and provided a tour of the entire hotel so we could see all the amazing art work.

top class boutique hotel furnished with amazing artwork throughout, centrally located and part of parkway shopping centre, better to give that address to taxi drivers as they dont appear to know eclat name even in chinese. Stayed for four nights with another couple and would gladly return again. Breakfast was first class and you would definitely feel that this is a deserving 5 star facility. was given a tour of other floors of hotel by Davin a front of house staff member it great to see the art work in the other parts of hotel. Staff were very helpful also got a voucher for free drink each day in cocktail lounge nice touch

Luxurious 5 stars experience: pamper yourself

Definitely one of the best 5 stars hotels I've ever stayed at. Luxurious experience surrounded by contemporary art with amazing gourmet free breakfast.

The hotel amenities are amazing, free welcome fruit, snacks, cake, water and soft drinks with premium bedding, 3D TV and a massage chair....yes, you read just fine, a massage chair and great city views.

I got a deluxe room but even then basic ones are just as amazing.

Modern hotel in a modern enclosed mall

Fun hotel, great for a weekend or short leisure stay. Modern furnishings, décor, and surroundings. Conveniently located inside a high end mall with elegant boutiques, restaurants, a market, ATMs, an art museum, and food court. Both European and Chinese breakfast provided, as well as complementary afternoon 'high tea'. For either business or pleasure, this hotel makes a good basecamp.
Only negative is when we asked to borrow 2 umbrellas at the front desk on a cloudy morning, we were demanded a 600cny refundable deposit in cash. I have never experienced this in any other high end hotels (in Beijing or elsewhere).

You won't be disappointed.

Excellence service, I have to say that Julian, the manager and his staff are very professional, they make us feel very comfortable all the time. The hotel is attached to a mall where you can find places to eat and even go to the movies. This is the same hotel where Matt Damon stayed with his family for 2 months while he was filming his new movie a bout the Great wall of China.

The Chinese name of this hotel is called 怡亨酒店. i have to search the chinese name and address of this hotel online because the taxi driver didn't even heard about this hotel before. this seems not a famous hotel in Beijing, but definitely an excellent hotel to stay.

Art lovers paradise in Beijing!

The Best Hotel ever! Great staff, especially Julian, the manager! Friendly, helpful. The Hotel itself is a work of art, every floor is beautifully decorated, the art is amazing! The room is very high tech, large and comfortable. The view of the city fantastic, the breakfast exquisite! we almost cried when we had to leave! The hi end shopping center attached is pricey but its like a museum with art installations, paintings and sculpture plus really good restaurants! We cant wait to go back!!

Classy and comfortable! Will definitely be back!

This hotel was exactly what I hoped to find on my first trip to Beijing. Having never been there before I arranged for the hotel car service from the airport and someone was waiting for us right away and took us to a car with bottled water and a driver waiting. The hotel checkin was quick and efficient and they exchanged currency for us and offered us macaroons! The hotel is perfect at the top of a beautiful, elegant glass pyramid structure with shops and restaurants easily accessible. The room was amazing with the amenities, 3-d tv, massage chair, iPad, and an amazing bathroom. We also were so happy that there was tea each afternoon and a free drink at the bar each evening. The breakfast and wifi was excellent and included as well. I will definitely recommend all my friends to stay here and I will definitely take the rest of my family back.

My Favorite - Beautiful Hotel

I wish I could take this hotel with me everywhere I go. It was a perfect experience from start to finish. The staff gives you a personalized feel and are always helpful, polite and friendly without being overbearing, you feel genuine concern from them. They've thought of every detail, from a personalized ipad to massage chairs to little things like a notecard that has chinese symbols for the subway and the name of an attraction to show the taxi driver (believe me these come in handy when hailing a taxi cab somewhere in Forbidden City or Tiananmen Square and the driver does not speak a lick of english). When I did ask for directions, I got a very detailed explanation and the receptionist even took the time to look up the place in her laptop to show me exactly where to walk to. And they always call the cabs for us.

They gave me and my husband drink vouchers for their superb George's Bar for the duration of our stay, which was three nights. They have a high quality breakfast buffet and afternoon tea with delectable candies and pastries all with compliments. So, there's certainly value as well.

The place itself is magical. Filled with interesting and aesthetically pleasing art and knickknacks. It is adjacent to a really high end mall that has everything from couture to salons to first class restaurants to a food court and a grocery store. It has everything. Stayed here for two days .Bad from the start they wanted 400 pound deposit for two nights stay room said it had balcony they blamed hotel.com for wrong info mini bar was not all free lucky I asked or I would of had a big bill. They want 200 pound for transport to great wall that was for just one person me. Also they had no info on trips as they said it's a boutique hotel .I asked for an upgrade on how much it would be they said the hotel was fully booked up that was a lie as I checked on two websites and they had better rooms.Also I had no welcome pack for a free drink which I did get a sorry about this sir back.On last night I had noise problem from loud music from next door so I complained and asked for a room change again fully booked up or you can have a lower priced room this was from the manager who I then asked for my money back to no avail so I told him he was an useless person and to get out of my room and just as I thought I would try and get some sleep they rung me up so I told them to get lost as this was a joke. Would never stay here again .By the way to get to the wall it's only 60p one way on the train.

nightmare hotel.

Be warned a basic room has no balcony so don't you pay loads of money as you only get a normal room.Also don't expect it to be a tourist hotel it's a boutique. If you are lucky you get a welcome pack I didn't and all I got was rubbish customer service . 200 pound a night they want for deposit . I had an early morning flight and there was loud music coming from next door and the other way you could here people laughing and talking no sound proof. I asked the manager to change my room he said fully booked up which was a lie so I told him your an absolute joke for a manager as it shows on hotel .com there are rooms so he said or you can have a twin room so from a double I was getting down graded. So I told him to go out of my room in a angry way. So half later when I was going to sleep they rung up .so I put phone down then in morning never got a appoligy or anything .I would not ask people to stay here as they only want your money and burger and chips is 23 pound lol.

Very unique and pleasant stay

I recently stayed 3 nights in this hotel and it was a great experience, i really enjoyed all the high tech gadgets they have in the room, and the hotel is like a museum, full of art and unique sculptures. The staff is very helpful and attentive to all of your needs. Late night room service is ok and breakfast has alot of variety and comes included with your stay. Overall very pleasant experiencie, just make sure to put the do not disturb sign because if you take an afternoon nap the cleaning ladies come in and bring candy or fruit to your room.
