Great Service

Service was excellent and just a minor complaint in the last night where there was no second face towel and no cream was replaced. Other than that we thought the service was fantastic. Special kiddos goes to Jenny Zhang during breakfast and Gary at the concierge downstairs entrance.

Clean room gym and changing room.
But the design layout of sauna room should improve. The heater uses up half of the room entrance. Floor tile at entrance cracked. This is undesirable unpleasant and very dangerous.
Shower of changing rooms: mould smell. Toiletries in shower cubicles a bit lousy. A cubiclexwithout cloth hanger.

Conveniently located on 2 metro lines The hotel has been recently re-modeled although personally I prefer the previous styling which felt more luxurious.

Park Hyatt is a great hotel and my room was fantastic. The only problem is that the lobby was under renovation, forcing a rerouting via another floor meaning one had to take three elevators to get in and out of the hotel.

The way the lifts are arranged is terrible. I had to change lifts 3 times before I get to my room. The price for lunch is insane. They only had very expensive staffs such as Grade A steak rmb 780 for lunch?? you believe that?? WiFi sucks

Hotel on renovation with crazy lift arrangements

Better communications with the on going renovations should be deliver to customers prior to booking - we just realised the hotel is on reno upon arrivals and we will need to change 3 lifts to get from Ground floor to our rooms. There has been drilling sounds at 6am , 4 Nov Sunday and that’s disturbing.
One more comment is the temperature of your shower water , it tends to get either really hot or cold.
Other than those , service and room size is excellent but I will prefer other hotels in my next visit .

Upon arriving, the bell staff stood there until the taxi told them we were checking in. The property is undergoing renovation, so you have to take several elevators before getting to your floor. It’s very confusing. Scarlett was the one checking us in, and she did not greet us, or even crack one smile. She handed us the keys and told us where the elevator was, and that’s it. Other receptionist walked the guests to the rooms, and explained the hotel. When I got to my room, I realized she put me in a room which I did not book, and was much smaller. Once I asked to be moved, THAT room smelled like urine and the carpet in the room was completely soaked, and smelled horrible. They insisted to throw towels on top of it and see how it goes!! I had to call a manager and demand to be moved. The “afternoon tea” which is included, was just some chips and nuts at a bar. Such poor quality! There was a piece of broken glass on the sofa I was sitting on! This Park Hyatt is so disappointing on so many levels, and simply does not meet the standard of other 5 star hotels. I do not recommend this place until renovation is done, and staff takes hospitality training.

The staff was extremely friendly and always gave me a smile and greeting whenever they saw me.
Very nicely located and I get a glimpse of the CCTV building by Reem Koohaus and the Beijing CBD..
And we arrived our room wasn't ready, they waived our breakfast charge for the length of the stay, and gave us free drinks while we wait for our room.
I will definitely come back and stay at the Beijing Park Hyatt again. My special thanks to the wonderful staff, I feel very much pampered with.

Beautiful retreat in Beijing

We stayed 4 days during Chinese New Year and had a wonderful experience. Very dedicated, attentive staff.
The room was spacious, modern. The bathroom was large and had a great \"spa\" feel and layout. It also was quiet and peaceful which is nice after a long day. The hotel has a very good restaurant, China Grill with stunning view of the city.

The staff are very helpful. They have all kinds of equipment to loan you. Like iPhone charger, laptop cable,hair straightenergy you name it...
however, the breakfast buffet need to be improved. They should include more variety.

3 stars hotel services but perfect for business

This hotel is perfect for business but avoid it if you come here for leisure. It's a very busy hotels with many business people come for meetings. The staff are lack of professionalism in term of hospitality. When I ask for directions, one staff just point to me with hand instead of talking to me. The staff talks louder than guess and rude. Overall it's a 3 stars hotel services. But if you just want to live in some city center skyscrapers and host many meetings. This is the perfect place.

I was staying at the Park Hyatt for 1 night during a business trip.
The hotel is great and the room size was perfect... Views from my 40th floor room was amazing ( although the outside windows were as dirty as it can be... well it's beijing after all... :)
The Hotel is great and if you stay at any of the Grand Hyatt, you'll feel right at home...
Don't expect too much, but don't expect little as well... On my next trip to Beijing i'm going to try a different place, as we always want better :) This Hotel is great overall !!! and service level was great !

Double reservations being held and card charged !!

When I had a debit for a SGL room on my credit card and also a voucher clearly stating 1 SGL room for a person but a twin bedded room my client was given a huge surprise when he checked-in stating he had a confirmed reservations for 2 SGL's. Now how does 1 person stay in 2 SGL rooms is beyond my belief. Also in my wildest dreams why wud I be foolish to debit myself twice for a person. This story went on for sometimes to come and the client panicked when they took his card and debited him for Rs.96k and odd and this inspite of showing a confirmed voucher. I had Expedia intervene and asked ur staff to speak while holding on for almost 20 mts to be told they have xxld the other room which they were holding. Strange dont u think ?? Well all is well that ends well I suppose and dont have any more suprises. A similar thing happened for Puri hotel too. Is Expedia slipping up or taking TAPP agents for granted ?

Perfect short gateaway

Was on a short family vacay together with my grandmother. Great service provided by the hotel staff, the rooms are fantastically designed and the bath was amazing. Oh and not to forget the great views of the city on the lobby and restaurants. The location of the hotel is very convienent too. Will definitely stay here again if back in beijing.

A first social visit to Beijing.

An almost new hotel, positioned on the upper floors of a 66 floor tower offering panoramic city views that sadly were only 25% effective due to appalling city air pollution. Excellent staff and rooms. Restaurants serving mostly non- Chinese food, a vital fallback. Hotel organised a two-day private guided tour by an English-speaking Chinese guide. Extremely worthwhile and essential during the National Day holidays. Would happily return.

Great Place to Hold Meetings

I was only in China for two full days and needed a place to hold 7 meetings one day and 8 the next. It was perfect for that. The staff was highly professional and the food in the restaurants was great. I got a massage at the spa as well, which was perfection. The only downside was the air quality outside the hotel, which isn't the hotels responsibility I understand but it makes going outdoors quite unpleasant.

Excellent hotel for our stay in Beijing. Views are marvellous and a calm respite from the noise and hubbub of the city far below. Food excellent and service is very good. The rooms were lovely. The pool, and particularly the jacuzzi, were great. All in all, I would definitely recommend it. It was a great experience.

One of the Best Business Hotels in Beijing, But Not for Tourists

Simply put, this is one of the best BUSINESS hotel in Beijing with great rooms and excellent services. You could not go wrong with this hotel if your local activities are arranged by your Chinese partners/friends. However, it is not the best hotel for tourists because of following reasons: (1) Nothing is within walking distance. There are just too many top-caliber hotels to choose from if you come to Beijing just for a vacation. (2) Nine out of ten taxi drivers don't know the hotel location--you have to zig-zag through the concrete forest to reach the back (south side) of the building for hotel entrance. The hotel has been open for a year, but the construction of the front gate has not been finished. (3) Lobby is small and unimpressive; and not a good place for meeting friends or for people watch.
