When we checked into the room, we found the clipped nails of past guests. the pillows were torn. the blanket is dirty. the bathroom is very dirty and smelly. my family and I stayed for 7 days, we did not change bed linen even once. the staff is very arrogant and rude.

A beautiful hotel in a fantastic setting.

A fantastic hotel. Super modern luxe building. Gorgeous pool. Lovely bar and restaurant areas. Fabulous food and drink - especially the cocktails. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Spotlessly clean. Great location over the road from the beach. Amazing sunset every night. A real find and very good value for money. Would defintely reccomend.

Lovely hotel!

Directly opposite the beach so fab views. Our room was on the lower ground floor towards the back of the hotel, with a veranda and direct access to a small pool area with a few sun loungers too. It was lovely, and very quiet. The beds were really comfy and the bathroom was spotless with a great shower.

The hotel is located on the eastern side of Rethymnon and there are several great places to eat if you turn right and head back into the town away from the beach. Otherwise the beautiful old town and stunning harbour is a 5€ taxi ride or a 30 minute seaside walk away. There are lots of great places to eat there and the seafood in particular is some of the best I've ever eaten.

Top notch! Would definitely recommend this place.

Outstanding service

Our second time staying at Sentido Aegean Pearl. We were really impressed with our first stay 2 years ago. This time around it exceeded our expectations. We were escorted to our room and to our surprise it came with a private over looking the beach. I can't fault this hotel the staff were courteous and friendly the room comfortable and the location perfect for us. I would like to give a big thank you to Mihalis Mpatzakis, Mihalis Kampourakis, Zarnia, Vangelo, Konlos, and Giorgia who all made our stay memorable. We most definitely will return! .

Lovely quiet get-away at 4 star hotel

My boyfriend and I stayed here for ten nights in May and found it to be a wonderful experience. The food in the breakfast buffet was delicious and the staff in the restaurant were a delight. The staff overall were very accommodating, helpful and friendly. Our room was beautiful with everything working perfectly and the bed was very comfortable. I would think it was more of a four star hotel quality rather then 5 star though. We are aged 25-26 and only noticed a handful of other couples our age but were mostly surrounded by elderly couples of which English was not their native language. There were activities organised most days/nights although one thing i will say is that perhaps low playing music should be introduced in the common areas to provide some kind of atmosphere as it was deathly quiet at times, enough to make you whisper you're entire conversation. All in all we had a delightful stay and would recommend this hotel to our friends of a slightly older age bracket.

Exceptionally Friendly hotel

It is right next to the beach and has 2 excellent outdoor swimming pools plus one indoor. We cannot speak too highly of the staff who greeted us like friends. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the food choice outstanding especially breakfast.There are a lot of other places to eat closeby and the short walk into Rethynmo is pleasant. There is plenty of space around the swimming pools to sunbathe and the hotel has its own private part of the main beach. Hiring a car is easy with 2 hire companies within 50metres of the hotel. We would return again if we returned to mthat part of the island.

Nice hotel near, not on, the beach

We stayed for 4 nights and initially I was a little disappointed when I arrived as although the hotel looked nice it was at the end of a road which ran betweit and the beach. From the photos it would suggest it was on the beach. The road leading to the town was a little grubby and dull, this may be because we were slightly per summer season. however the hotel was nice it had 3 pools and the staff were friendly. Inhad asked for a twin room as it was for my friend and I however we got a double and the bathroom was very open to the room. Suitable for a couple but not really friends. We also had an issue with the hot water which was not very hot, which I did report to the hotel, but no one did anything about.
There's not much to do in rethminyion town a party from a few bars and shops. There's boat trips if the weather is nice and there's tonnes of excursions to do which all include a long coach ride. The excursions are good if the weathers not great, other wise find a nice beach and just hang out there!

Views of the ocean and close to \"Old Town\"

Had a wonderful time at this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I was traveling with my 4 year old daughter and she was dealing with the 7 hour time difference. The staff automatically extended/pulled breakfast beyond closing for her and found things she enjoyed eating (she is picky) without me ever asking. They her tubes and beach balls to use in the pool and sea. Also, the hotel is a 30 minute walk to Old Town or 5 minute ride by taxi. Lots to see and do in town thanks to the recommendations made by the hotel. Hotel rooms were very comfortable and extremely clean as well. You will not be disappointed!

Great service

We staid for 10 days in August. The weather was perfect. The friendly service made this hotel. Every member of staff had a smile and a welcome for everyone. The food was excellent. A good selection of quality for breakfast. The lunches available were very reasonable, huge and really good quality. Dinner was a buffet and again a very large selection. However this was an expensive way to eat and worked out 40% more than the town.
Hotel room was very modern and well presented. The shower was really good and the lighting in the room was cool. The air condition worked very well and kept the room really cool. Rooms were also quite with very little noise penetration. Only improvement for us would have been to have some soft pillows, the ones in the room were very hard.
There is one main pool for the hotel which was well controlled by the hotel with towel bandits having their towels removed if they left them to hog chairs.
All in a very nice hotel which we would return to and would recommend to our freinds.

Great 5* hotel

Only spent two night here but wished it had been longer. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to an executive room with private pool which was far beyond our expectations. Everything about the hotel was as you would expect of a 5* hotel. It was a 25 minute walk to the centre of Rethymnon but along the promenade, so a pleasant stroll. Would definitely return.

Beautiful Hotel in front of a beautiful beach

On arrival we were greeted with a cold drink and refresher towel and was impressed with the modern and open decor. Although the hotel is approx 2-3 km out of town, the walk along the foot path beside the beach was lovely and when we were too tired we caught a cab back for 5 euros .My family and I found it very relaxing and hope to return to this hotel again.

Okay, but a bit problematic on several counts

This hotel was OK, and got the job done on most counts, but there are a few issues that might cause concern depending on what your agenda is in Rethymno. To be more specific:

1) The hotel is VERY far away from Rethymno's old town and the center of the shopping and dining action. My wife and I timed it at around 40 minutes walking at a standard pace during the warm season. Expect sore feet or 5-7 euros per cab ride, one or the other.

2) Cleanliness can be an issue here. Our room was often not thoroughly cleaned each day, and we had to repeatedly ask for soaps, etc. to be refilled.

3) Be warned that the buffet is very top heavy on pork products some nights at dinner--if you don't eat pork, like us, you shouldn't waste the 27 euros for two on it. Also, beverages are NOT included in the fee at dinner, which is annoying if the beverages in question are non-alcoholic standard things. I also find it annoying when long pants are required for dinner in 90-degree weather. We're on vacation, for crying out loud!

4) A surprrising number of the rooms face toward the back of the hotel or other rooms in the complex. Don't expect a nice view from your room here unless you have a lot of faith in your good fortune.

All in all, this was OK but posed some logistiical difficulties and had annoying elements to it. But if all you want out of your vacation is to sit in the hotel pool/beach and never leave to see anything else, perhaps you'll like it here.

Stress free sunshine break

This is an excellent boutique style hotel. The rooms are minimal, classy and service is very friendly and professional. Breakfast was very pleasant and entirely satisfactory choice available. It is a 30-40 mins stroll to the old town, less than 5 mins by cab for 5 euros. My only complaint is the fact that the hotel is not separate from the sister hotel - Aegean Beach - and the view of the pool area towards the tacky pool table and roadside car parking lets the entire establishment down. Perhaps more foliage screening to soften and make the scenery more appealing. I was not too keen on the beach setting. Deck chairs uncomfortable and sand rather stony and grubby. However, I will certainly be returning...! Rethymnon old town is arguably the prettiest town in Crete!

Hotel war nix überwältigendes. Personal war heraustragend und sehr freundlich. Zimmer und Flure waren teilweise abgewohnt (Flecken auf dem Teppichboden in den Fluren, Armaturen abgenutzt, Sofasessel beschmutzt, Kofferablage defekt, Kaputte Kleiderbügel mit Verletzungsgefahr)

Hotel se nalazi na kraju setnice, nema prevelike buke automobila, osoblje je preljubazno - od recepcije preko managera hotela koji pozdravlja prilikom dorucka i vecere svakog gosta ponaosob, do cistacica; hrana je preukusna (obilna i raznovrsna kako za dorucak tako i za veceru); iskoristili smo i pogodnost da se pridruzimo vodjenoj turi po gradu koja je bila organizirana od strane hotela. Nema mnogo aktivnosti koje hotel pruza kroz dan, ali svatko si moze izabrati provesti dan oko hotelskih bazena ili na samoj plazi gdje su rezervirane lezaljke za goste. Ukoliko niste od kuce rezervirali neki izlet, na raspolaganju je osoba koja sjedi u predvorju hotela i moze vam preporuciti/organizirati neki izlet. Recepcija radi 24h i stoji na usluzi za svako pitanje. S obzirom da smo mi odlazili iz hotela u 6:30 ujutro, cak su nam organizirali dorucak u 6:00, sto je rijetko moguce dozivjeti.

En slik plass som kunne lagt hvor som helst i varme strøk. All Inclusive fungerer bra, maten er ok+ og underholdningen pluss animation team gjør en strålende jobb for å skape god stemning. Pluss for at all innclusive er All Inclusive. Her er ingen overraskelser eller andle tillegg. \"Stranden\" nede ved havet er så som så, men det gir ihvertfall en mulighet til å bade i havet. Holder du deg på området til hotellet har du en flott opplevelse - men kanskje verdt å kombinere med et par dager i f.eks Rethymnon når du først er på Kreta.

Rommet vi hadde var smakfullt innredet, rent og komfortabelt. Hotellet fremstår som nytt, med opptil flere bassenger, heis, god frokost, smykkebutikk, treningstilbud og gruppetimer, bordtennis, bar, håndkleutleie, sikker parkering, paraplyutleie med mer. Personellet som jobbet ved hotellet var svært serviceminded, selv om vi var sent ute til frokost hver dag og ble sittende lenge over tiden, var det aldri en sur mine å få, og vi ble tatt godt i mot i resepsjonen ved hver minste forespørsel. De ringte rundt og undersøkte for oss om tider og tilgjegelighet ifm en streik vi ble rammet av mens vi var der, og resten av personellet ved hotellet var også hyggelige. Hadde absolutt bodd her igjen, og anbefales på det varmeste!

c'est un bon 5* qui présente très bien.

Nous y avons séjourné 1 semaine mi aout 2014. Il n'y a pas grand chose à dire si ce n'est que dans l'ensemble, tout est parfait. C'est à 5m de la plage privée gratuite (comprise dans le forfait), il y a une conciergerie très efficace (location d'une voiture en 3 min dans d'excellente condition de prix et d'assurance), un personnel très sympa, polyglotte, disponible. Le cadre est très chouette. L'hotel est soigné et en excellent état.
La seule (petite) restriction est que le cœur de Rethymnon est à 20 min de marche (nous avions une voiture, c'est plus simple).

Chambres sont ok type 4 étoiles , elles sont design et propres avec salle de bain ouverte sur la chambre.. Le reste des services peut s'améliorer pour un 5 étoiles: caution demandée pour les serviette de plage qui ne sont renouvelées que certains jours dans la semaine (attention à ne pas la salir le lundi :)), le wifi ne marchait pas dans notre chambre même avec le cable ethernet que nous avons du aller chercher à la réception, enfin petit déjeuner est varié mais disponible que jusqu'à 10h et c'est à vous de presser vos oranges....

Hotel récent à 25 min à pied du centre ville. Accès gratuit en face de l'hotel à la plage privée. Personnel agréable et efficace. Centre de spa complet et très bien tenu à des prix corrects. Petit déjeuner très varié et frais. En revanche la piscine extérieure est trop petite et peu de place sur les transats. Sinon rien à redire à part que je le recommande. Peuplé de personnes agées début mai.

Hübsches Hotel

hübsches Hotel am Ende der Beach Road. Bedeutet für Fussgänger zu weit ins Stadtzentrum aber dafür nicht ganz so viel los auf besagter Straße und mit Rad oder Taxi schnell im Zentrum. Hat alles gepasst, man muss sich nur sehr gut verstehen mit seinem Zimmermitbewohner, da das Bad “wandfrei“ ist.
