The spa isnt included in the price of the hotel. 21 euros for a public booking and something like 31 euros for a private booking. Rooms are not like the photos. Looks old and smells old. The reception and rooftop. Phenomenal. However there were bed bugs on the rooftop....

Well. The rooms are very old and not at all like the photos..... the spa, you have to pay extra. 21 euros to use it in a public booking, 31 euros for a private booking. I chose this hotel as it said VIP access. This is a con. You will not get upgraded and the free drink is a soft drink and you wont get that either. I had to keep asking for it and the staff acted like it was coming out of their pocket. I complained to the front desk but no recovery. The hotel is noisy. The pool small and full of ash. No changing rooms.
The bathroom door did not close properly either. Expedia should remove them from the VIP access as it is just a trick to get guests to stay. Avoid this hotel.

Near Napoleon’s Home.

The continental breakfast was excellent.
The shower was difficult to control HOT water. Very HOT. Bathroom door did not close. Needs to be cut on the side. We left a camera at hotel. We hope they will send it to us via Fed ex. Friday night loud music on street. Many small cafes near hotel on pedestrian street. Two nice museum. Home of Napoleon close by. fesch museum near by.

Poor value for money

Price paid for room. 170 euro. Very basic certainly not value for money.
As a silver member stated that we got a free beverage which was not mentioned by staff and only received it after I noticed later. Soft drink or water.
Also be aware that they take 150euro deposit. Two days later still waiting for money to be returned from my account. Has gone out but not back in.
Room poor condition and cramped.

I stayed in the studio, which isn’t actually in the hotel but in the building opposite. It was awful, not 3-star standard certainly. One of the main issues was really the smell, a mixture of damp and smoke. Disappointingly all my clothes smelt of smoke by the time I left :(.

Hotel in a great position for visiting the city.
Room was big and clean but very basic. The roof terrace is good to have a drink with a view but forget about the pool, it is really too small compared to the pictures.
Staff was helpful.
There is a public parking close by, ask for hotel discount at the front desk.

You can't have a better location for an hotel in Ajaccio. Right in the middle of the old city and quiet! The restaurant/bar on the roof top is amazing and a spa pool en plus!

We went for the Ajaccio semi-marathon and it was in the perfect location for that. However, when we asked for directions to the location to pick up packet for the race, it was a huge hassle for them to help us with directions to the sports store a half hour away. \"Use your GPS,\" was the response. I explained that my \"international plan\" that I paid for on my phone had not worked my entire trip and thus had had no service anywhere in France. One girl did print me a map, but the cost of the bus and how to pay, the location of the stop, and which direction to go we had to glean from other passengers. No Ubers. Thankfully I speak French. Asking for change for even a small euro bill (20E), was always a problem, even though this was to leave a tip for the cleaning staff and the breakfast staff; who were WONDERFUL. Finally, we used the gym to prepare for the race and was another reason we chose the hotel. It was super. However, the spa with the jacuzzis were not labeled anywhere as \"PRIVATE\" on the door (nor were they locked when in use,) so I entered several times looking for my coworker who said she was going there after her run. The people who had paid to rent the spa kept glaring at me and I finally said I was just looking for my friend, clueless to their situation. While this was probably all on the \"website,\" inaccessible to me, I had no way of knowing that it was any different than the open gym. No VIP perks whatsoever were given. Riot on Sun closed everything there

They were not aware of our breakfast included conditions or that we can check-out later. The room was terrible, with very little space and almost no light. There was barely any room between the bed and wall. There was no fridge and no parking. We did not feel very comfortable overall and I would not want to recommend this property.

A generally nice place and very well located. But am disappointed they told me too late the pool would be closed. They offered me a free cancellation but during the busy summer season this was not possible. Prices elsewhere go up dramatically by the day. Knowing the facilities I expected would not be available, a notification coming immediately instead of 3 weeks later would be the decent thing to do.

Hotel Fesch is in the beautiful old part of Ajaccio a short walk from the railway and bus stations, the beach, the ferry, eating places, shops & just about everything worth seeing in Ajaccio. Close to an excellent boulangerie & nearby crepe & gelati cafe, too. Double glazing & shutters on the windows make the room noise-proof, too. Comfy beds, clean room, shower in the bath a bit weird but easy to master once you get used to it.

Noisy hotel location

This hotel is located in pedestrian area and it was not possible to find not too far any parking to unload the luggage. The hotel is close to museums, port and shopping. However, there is a bar on the same street and loud music on Thursday night was well into early hours disturbing the sleep even with the closed window. It is probably even worse on weekend. The soundproofing of the rooms is not good and loud voices in the next room were clearly heard, which also was not very good for sleeping. The room was nice and the bed was comfy. The staff at reception was very good.

Great trip to Corsica with a hotel that is centrally located and near to the market and the beach. The staff is very helpful and accommodating, the hotel is clean and easy to check in and out of. Location is the very best. Wifi is just ok, there is only breakfast at the hotel, but it is surrounded by cafes.

This is a nice hotel in a good location. The staff were friendly. The room was clean, the bed was ok, has air conditioning, a mini fridge and a safe. The bathroom was small but the shower was great. It was fairly quiet apart from other guests going in and out of their rooms. I didn't have the breakfast as it was 12 euros which I thought was a bit pricey.

Ideal Central Located Hotel

Hotel Fesch is a 3 star hotel in the very centre of Ajaccio. It is 3min walk to the marina which has superyachts and small pleasure craft together with local fishing boats. There are lots of places to eat in the marina.
The nearest beach is 10min walk away. It is small but perfectly fine and the sea was warm. It became humid after about 4pm and into the evenings but that might just have been for the time we were there rather than being the norm.

Hotel was ideally located, 15min walk to the train station. Hotel Fresc was good as a place to base yourself. Being central, directly outside are many cafes, patisserie's and restaurants.

Ajaccio seemed expensive to eat out. A bottle of water was between €4 and €6 in cafes and restaurants. We discovered a 'Spa' supermarket 10min walk away from hotel fresh and stocked up on bottled water. The exact same water at the Spa was €0.69 compared to minimum of €4.
Coffee in cafes was between €3.50 and £4 but the discerning traveller will find it less, such as at Paul's Boulangerie (the Paul's chain) next to the Spa for €1.80.

The number 5 bus will take you all the way down the coast, max of 30min and stops at many lovely beaches. Bus is €1 each way. Again the No 5 bus is near the Spa supermarket.

Ajaccio was a good place for 3 days stay. The train connections to significant towns of Corsica are good.

I recommend hotel Fesch for it's central location, effective air conditioning, comfort and kettle and fridge in the rooms.

Nice hotel close to everything. Room is modern and fully renovated recently. Beware of the room facing the busy street in the heart of town. It gets very loud until midnight (i.e., Sat music loud speakers right under the room). Asked the hotel for a quieter room and was given perhapa one of the loudest room.

In the centre of Ajaccio. Hotel has been totally refurbished, a part from the bedrooms. Bathrooms are brand new, thought. No parking, but you can park on the street for a pretty cheap price. Overall good, and good cleaning.

Hotel Fesch is the place to be near to everything

Great hotel to stay at if you want to be close to everything! Friendly and helpful staff--they made sure our taxi was there for our early morning departure to the airport. Good breakfast, good espresso vs. the normal automatic stuff. Great location near to the main public beach, main square with the daily market and the port for tour boats. Hotel Fesch is located on a rue pieton, so only the electric shuttle and a few stray cars for delivery. Very convenient to the Museum (Fesch) and little shops. Great air conditioning, that was appreciated during the cannicule! Will be staying there again next year!

Nous avons séjourné une nuit sur place à l’occasion du réveillon du Nouvel An. L’ensemble du personnel s’est montré particulièrement accueillant, souriant et disponible, aussi bien à la réception qu’au bar.
Nous avions opté pour une chambre standard à un tarif très raisonnable : de taille modeste mais impeccablement propre (un mini-réfrigérateur aurait toutefois été appréciable).
Coup de cœur pour le charmant spa privatisé, à réserver à l’avance : bain à remous, bain à bulles, sauna, hammam et douche sensorielle… un véritable moment de détente en toute intimité.
Enfin, le rooftop est superbe, offrant une magnifique vue sur les montagnes et le port.

L hôtel à certes une superbe terrasse sur le toit mais avec une minuscule piscine ou tout le monde se bouscule et les enfants crient à tout tete …
L hôtel est très bruyant en général ..
Ma chambre donnait sur l angle de 2 rues , pourtant piétonnes : mais vous êtes réveillés dès 6 heures du matin avec la danse des éboueurs, livreurs, etc etc
De plus , beaucoup de touristes prennent cet hôtel en centre ville pour partir très tôt par le ferry du matin …. Donc bruits de clacage, de portes, bruits de canalisations, de chasse d eau des 5 h …
Voila .. notre séjour !!!

2 boisons bien venue il faut monter au 7eme étage, et attendre la serveuse, qui nous a reçu avec aucun plaisir, dommage, quant on a passé beaucoup de temps au transport, avec la manière de nous recevoir de cette serveuse, nous fait perdre le plaisir de faire la connaissance avec cet hôtel et ses environnements .

The hotel is situated in the middle of the toxn centre steos a,ay from the port, shops abd restaurants.
The reception during the day was very professional, helpful and friendly although the night réceptionist was asleep on the desk and barely acknowledged us when we returned late that night.
Our room was clean although a little shabby on the wall decor which was old and seemed to have suffered from a damp issue. The windows to our room were left open on arrival and the room stunk of fish although once we realised that the smell orginated from outdoors, we closed the windows and alliowed the airconditioner to work it's magic.
Overall, the room was well located for all amenities but due to its shabby decor and ́ight staff, it cannot be rated accurately as a 4*. 3* at the most.

L hotel a était en partie rénové, lobby très beau mais des le 1er étage… c est bien plus vieux, moquette tachées, bout de moquette ajouter par dessus, couloir défraîchi, porte des chambres aussi, un coup de peinture ferai pas de mal et changer le sol.
Sinon il est super bien placée, à côté de tout ! Plage à 5 min à pied, marché à 1 minutes, rue calme et très commerçante mais sans bruit.
Le restaurant et la piscine au 7 eme étage avec jolie vue, rénove et moderne. Piscine petite mais ça reste agréable, par contre attention plus accès à la piscine des 18h !! C est super tôt dommage. Ça reste agréable d’y séjourner et staff sympa.

La literie est bonne mais notre chambre assez sombre et vétuste.
Le wifi ne fonctionne pas toujours et donc regarder la télé est compliqué (si on a le temps pour ;) )
Ce que je ne savais pas en réservant est que l'accès au spa est payant et se privatise.
Il faut passer par le restaurant pour aller à la piscine.

Un peu déçus!
Les serviettes de toilette ont été changées mais il en manquait une sur les 4. Nous avons dû les demander à deux reprises. Les tasses à café n’ont pas été lavées, ni changées (nous avons pourtant été le signaler à la réception)

Salle de bain avec baignoire, vraiment peu pratique, aucune protection, on mouille tout le sol qui ne sèche pas car il n’y a pas de ventilation et qui du coup rend le carrelage très glissant !!!

Jolie vue depuis la piscine.
Bar et restaurant onéreux. Il vaut mieux privilégier les commerces de la rue.

Bref déçu des prestations.

La situation par contre est top !
Dommage qu’il n’y ait pas de parking… et que tous les parkings alentours soient payant. Il faut rajouter ça dans le budget !

Hôtel très décevant. On vous demande une caution de 150€ en arrivant, alors que rien n'était notifié à la réservation. Les photos des chambres, de l'hôtel, de la vue du rooftop , présentés sur hotel com, site sur lequel nous avons réservé,n'ont rien à voir avec la réalité . Le Spa semblait inclus alors qu'il n'en est rien. Les chambres étaient présentées belles, spacieuses, propre sur le site, alors que c'était sale, carreaux de la douche moisis, pommeau de douche dégueulasse, poubelle rouillée, serviette de bain avec traînées marron,sdb petite, chambre avec traces sur les murs, bas de porte sdb cassé , porte d'entrée avec peinture toute abîmée. Quelqu'un devait revenir faire le ménage, le mot n'a pas dû être transmis. La fenêtre de la chambre donnait sur une ruelle passante sentant l'urine, nous ne pouvions ouvrir sans subir l'odeur et les gens nous voyaient et nous disaient bonjour en passant devant (au moins, ils sont polis lol) Vue du rooftop non conforme aux photos de présentation. Certains membres du personnel ne sont pas très aimables. Prix du café changeant au fil de la journée, allant jusqu'à 6€. Malgré les plaintes, montrant les photos du site comparé à la réalité et le prix payé, en dédommagement, nous avons eu seulement le droit à une boisson gratuite. Whaouuuu !!!! Si nous voulions changer de chambre, il fallait payer. La raison pour laquelle nous ne sommes pas partis de l'hôtel, est que c'était une réservation sans remboursement. A fuir absolument

Petit déjeuner médiocre avec des produits en conserve (salade fruits, jus), personnel peu réactif.
Beau roo top,mais il ne faut pas tout miser sur ça

The location of the hotel was great - close to stations and harbour.
All the main sights are at walking distance.
Hotel has a rooftop restaurant with great view.

The rooms - part of them- do not have that view at all. Rooms are old ones - so do not wait too much. Shower gave only cold or boiling hot water.

Une fois pas deux

Il n'a été que de courte durée car nous avions pris un Airbnb pour la reste du séjour. Cependant, nous avons appelé trois ou quatre jours après car nous avions oublié des affaires dans la chambre. Ils nous expliquent qu'ils n'ont plus nos affaires. (un pantalon, une chemise et une ceinture de marque). Personne ne nous as prévenu. Finalement, au bout d'une semaine et car nous avions une amie habitante d’Ajaccio qui s'est déplacée, ils ont miraculeusement \"retrouvés\" nos affaires mais nous ont facturé 20 balles pour nous renvoyer le tout sur le continent. Pour le prix de la chambre, nous nous attendions à un service d'un autre standing...

Ce n’est pas un hôtel que je recommanderai. Il est mal insonorisé, on entends le moindre bruit.
La femme de ménage ne fait que de toquer, je demande à la réception qu’elle ne passe pas un jour et la femme de ménage rentre quand même alors qu’il y avait quelqu’un dans la chambre.
En arrivant dans la chambre la paroi de douche était cassée, quelqu’un est venu l’a réparer mais elle s’est recasée quelques jours plus tard. Les couloirs sentent mauvais la cigarette et odeurs nauséabondes à la réception. Le personnel désagréable.
La chambre est petite, ne parlons pas de la sdb.

Seul point positif le petit déjeuner.

Rent og fint hotell sentralt i gamle byen. God frokost og vennlige og hjelpsomt personale. Hotellet kan anbefales som overnatting sentralt i byen. Mange restauranter og butikk like ved.

Ein traumhafter Rooftop mit wunderschönem Blick über die Altstadt. Unbedingt das Frühstück dort oben dazubuchen. So macht verreisen Spaß !
