Our hotel was located in the middle of the old town section of Ajaccio. There were plenty restaurants and other shops within walking distance. The breakfast was delicious!

Our stay at Kallisté was exactly what we were looking for! It is easy to get to from the airport, a very short walk from all the center city shopping and food (some of the best croissants we had on our trip were 1 minute away at A Panattaria di Babbu) , and the room was a cool and comfortable break from exploring Ajaccio in the hot summer months. The staff was friendly and very helpful arranging a car to the airport. Would definitely return!

Nicely converted old building with large simply decorated rooms in a good position on the main street close to everything. Staff were pleasant but on arrival had to wait outside in sun while they checked if room was ready.

In a building being rehabbed, with exposed brick walls, etc. Very small but ultra-modern and comfortable room, with all necessary amenities. Would be perfect, but they do not offer in-room coffee, nor any available unless you buy their breakfast. There is a coffee shop next door.
Call well in advance to see if they can offer parking; none was available to us, and we parked a few blocks away in an nice underground garage for $25 per day. Desk clerk spoke English.

This was by far the best choice of hotels in Ajaccio; located right in the centre, with short-distance walks to everything you could possibly need: train station, port, restaurants, shopping (incl. Monoprix), and all the main sites - even a laundromat next door! Ajaccio for the car-less tourist was a lot smaller than I expected so guests can easily enjoy the city at a leisurely pace without even using a bus. Most of the staff I dealt with spoke English and all but one were really helpful. The building is quite nice - old but well maintained & rooms are quite small. I was upgraded from a single & the amount of space I had just qualified as sufficient. My window opened onto the main road but maybe because it was low-ish season or that I didn't spend much time in the room, I didn't notice a lot of noise, although I have been known to sleep through fire alarms. My key stopped working but Julien was able to get the issue resolved, he was my fave. Being stranded on the streets of Ajaccio at night isn't so bad as I never felt threatened and found Corsica to be very safe everywhere I went. There was luggage hold service t had I had to use & there is always someone at reception nearby. I can't stand when a hotel's idea of luggage hold is one big room that no one mans but everyone can access. The one downside of my stay was that there was no way to turn on the TV. I'm not much of a TV person but I like to know what is going on in the world even when I am on vacation.

A rather spartan place but why would you be sitting in your room in Aiacciu anyway? But if you have to (like I did thanks to an unexpected injury elsewhere) there's not really much. Good AC, and lots of good places very close by -- and a short walk to the old town. So really, it does its job. But it really needs to be cleaned a bit better...it feels a bit like they're holding off on serious cleaning until the end of the season, which was about when this trip was...

Decent spot - let down by Hotels.com as it said that breakfast was included in the price but the hotel refused to accept this so we had to pay an extra 18 euros for the obligatory Corsican breakfast of bread and jam with coffee!

From booking through to finally leaving this hotel all the boxes were ticked. A glitch with hotels.com meant my booking was not confirmed so I needed to phone the hotel direct. I wish I had the name of the delightful staff member who helped me by providing the correct phone number to hotels.com After I made that phone call to seal my booking, the same delightful female staff member at Kalliste phoned me to confirm the booking had come through the hotels.com system. This kind of service is rare nowadays. Happily the same staff member was behind the desk when we checked in a day later; efficient, smiling, pleasant. The hotel room had what we like: windows onto the street, wooden shutters, electric shutters for even more noise and light reduction, a very comfortable bed, decent pillows and an overhead fan along with air conditioning. One of the best rooms at a reasonable price in which we have stayed on this three month trip. Breakfast was also good, though the older man running the room was quite gruff telling us to keep trays under our dishes so as not to mark the table. We saw no signs to indicate this request or we would have complied at the outset. One last thing, the location on Cours Napolean could not be better, in the heart of vibrant Ajaccio. Hôtel bien situé pour visiter le centre d'Ajaccio, accueil satisfaisant mais déception pour la chambre (211), douche non étanche et pommeau de douche non réglable (car cassé ! et gros débit d'eau et receveur qui ne fournit plus assez, innondation assurée !) donc joints sales. Un manque d'attention et de vérification dans ce cas d'où notre mauvaise expérience. Cas isolé ou fréquent, à voir dans d'autres avis...

Sono venuta due volte in questo hotel . È un hotel molto comodo a livello dei servizio cioè vicino alla stazioni sia del treno e di pullman ma anche per chi deve viaggiare con la nave. La collaborazione è ottima perché guardando il prezzo è comunque fornita. L unica cosa che posso rimproverare ( bisogna vedere un attimino la doccia come mi sono capitato a me non è tanto pulita purtroppo). Detto questo raccomando a tutti.

the perfect place with all the restaurants, shops, places to visit, the beautiful dayly market within a walking distance? Five minutes walk to the harbour. You can stay there without needing car, just walk, take your time, plus a very good network of buses if you ever want to go a bit outside of the city heart. The connection to the hotel wifi can be made by the receptionist immediately when you register and....that's it! Also a special mention for the wonderful choices at the breakfast restaurant. Impossible not to find all you love whatever nationality you are.

Salle de bain a revoir. Le pommeau de douche fuyait, beaucoup trop de pression et impossible de régler. Du coup, on mettait de l'eau partout. Le receveur avait du mal a évacuer le trop plein. Un carreau de carrelage creux et il bougeait. C'était dangereux

L’Hotel est bien situé, les lits plutôt confortables, par contre la propreté laisse à désirer. Le ménage était à peine fait, les draps avec des taches qui n’ont pas été changés une seule fois durant 6 jours, la sale de bain n’a été nettoyé qu’une foi à mon avis car on retrouvait dans le mêmes état.
Pas beaucoup de rangement pour une chambre à 3 personnes et pour une longue durée.
Il manquait aussi un frigo qui aurait été le bienvenu surtout l’été…

L'hôtel est absolument magnifique et le personnel charmant. Le seul bémol est le manque de places de parking à l'hôtel. Fort heureusement, il y'a des parkings municipaux situés pas très loin qui sont gratuits entre 19h30 et 8h du matin.

Hôtel simple, bien situé entre ville et mer, sans chichi et bien rénové que ce soit les chambres ou les couloirs, partie commune !! Il a beaucoup de charme avec les belles pierres anciennes apparentes un peu partout !! Chambre par contre un peu petite certes, faut l'avouer, mais suffisante pour y dormir le temps d'un court séjour. Une étoile en moins juste pour l'odeur un peu désagréable d'égoût quand on rentre dans la partie commune mais je ne sais pas si c'est dépendant à leur volonté.
