What a nightmare

The place was very beautiful also de room but it has tons of dust plus no air conditiones. Thwy had a fat that was too lound that we couldn't sleep. My mom got sick because of that i don't recommend this place

Welcoming hotel close to the historic city centre

The staff were the highlight of our three day stay. They couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. They arranged our tour to see the Mariposa butterfy reserve in El Rosario. The room was clean & tidy and the continental breakfast with fresh local produce was very tasty. We would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in a smaller , low-key and quiet hotel venue.

Great stay in Michoacan at Mesón de los Remedios

We spent 3 nights here in Feb. 2018. The hotel is about 6 blocks from the main square in the historic centre but it's an easy walk on a main street. From the outside the hotel is extremely plain but it's very nice inside. The staff at check in and throughout the stay were fantastic. Alberto was a great help. He speaks English. He helped us select and company for a day trip, arranged our taxi to the bus station and made sure that our breakfast was available slightly early as we had an early bus to catch on our last day. The room was very clean. It did not have a window, only a skylight. Most rooms in the hotel have windows on an interior courtyard or skylights. The king size bed was very comfortable. One note, \"Junior Suite\" is a standard room. Something lost in the translation I think. The free continental breakfast of fruit, yogurt, granola, toast and coffee was excellent and wonderfully presented. It also came with a juice we could not identify. When we enquired, we were told it was guava! Delicious. You could also order off the menu at an additional charge. We did not do this but the food we saw others order looked very good. We plan to go back next year to explore more of the state of Michoacán and will stay here again.

Great place to stay in Morelia as it is on a quiet street but only a few blocks from the center. The complementary continental breakfast is decent and you can order from a regular breakfast menu if you want more food. The only negative, and we have found this with other hotels in historic buildings, is that soundproofing is not great - not really a problem unless you want to sleep in. This is our go-to hotel when we stay in Morelia.

This is a very basic hotel, no safe, a little older. All rooms face inside to a courtyard type setting. It is extremely clean and the staff take great pride in keeping it clean and ensuring guests have everything they need. The walls are a bit thin and noise carries, but it didn't stop us from having a good sleep. Our room came with a continental breakfast ~fruit, yogurt and coffee~ hot breakfast is available at an additional cost, and it is excellent!
Hotel is no more than a 5 minute walk from the main square.
For the price, this is excellent value and we will definitely stay again when in Morelia

Charming Hotel Close to the Center

The hotel has a traditional feel which I loved. From the outside through the courtyard and into the room. Check in was smooth, staff were helpful. Room was spacious and clean but no a/c or heat. You can opt to opening the windows for cool air to come in but invite more mosquitoes in the process. Water pressure was good with hot water. Included breakfast was just fruit bowl and coffee but you can order a la carte all with very reasonable prices. The hotel is a little walk to the square, very closeby in my opinion.

Overall, loved this hotel esp in the morning when it's cool, you open the window, look out or sit in the courtyard for a coffee and desayuno. Highly recommended and will stay again!!

Great economical hotel within the historic center of Morelia and an easy walking diistance to the main central square. The rooms can be a bit noisy but the hotel is in a quiet area so the noise level was not an issue after 11. It is a good choice and we have stayed there several times.

Local charm in Morelia's Centro Historic

Hotel is located in a character filled historic building in the historic center of Morelia. The staff is very helpful and attentive without being intrusive. Delicous fruit platter included for breakfast. The very sweet cook in the kitchen for a nominal charge will prepare a more substantial mexican style breakfast if preferred. Clean, comfortable and authentic.

It was disappointing arriving and having to struggle a bit to demonstrate that in fact I had made the reservation. The clerk assigning rooms in the morning shift somehow overlooked my reservation.
The direct impact was that we got a room under the segment we had choose and paid for. Looking at the bright side they did make an effort not to left us without a room

The room had a king size bed and nice cabinet work. The channel selection on the TV included English language channels. The bathroom was shower only and had hot water. The city had dug up the sidewalk outside the entrance to the hotel so the entry wasn't the best. However,farther up the street where the work was already done that it will be very nice once done. The location is about 4 blocks from the main square and cathedral. A light breakfast is served in the morning. The eating area has open air exposure so I found it a little chilly. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and would recommend it.

A short walk to the action.

We stayed here twice and for some reason we're upgraded from what we had paid for the first time to a bedroom loft arrangement. The second bed didn't add anything but the bath with jets, extra space, larger tv, and quieter location were nice. The second time the simpler room was perfectly adequate but disappointing by comparison. The first room should have been about $77can. and the second was about $58.
I would certainly stay again. Staff were pleasant and helpful (limited English), good location and nice fruit, yogurt, granola dish and toast for breakfast (included). Then go up to the square for a decent cup of coffee?

our stay here was excellent. we were greeted cheerfully and escorted to a neat very clean room . the bathroom featured large towels, toiletries and plenty of hot water. a continental breakfast of coffee, toast, a tall glass of juice and a large fruit plate topped with cream and granola was served daily. wifi is in the common areas of the hotel.
the location was perfect. the hotel was just a few blocks from the center of town in a quiet neighborhood near many attractions, great shopping and restaurants all a short stroll from the accommodation. buses and taxi services are plentiful. tours can be arranged by the hotel or at the central plaza.
we enjoyed ourstay and will surely return. w

This is a great little hotel that is located within easy walking distance of the main zocalo and the major historic sites of Morelia. The hotel has been completely remodeled making for a very comfortable stay and the morning free breakfast was very good. We will definitely consider staying here again the next time that we are in Morelia.

Staff here are pleasant and helpful, but they do not speak English. It is a sign of hard economic times in Michoacan that not all light fixtures and plugs in the room worked and breakfast was very limited. Although I asked for a quiet room, I was placed beside the main courtyard so it was a bit noisy. In addition, the window had very light curtains and the light shining in from the courtyard made it harder to sleep.

But the room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the location convenient. Stay here if the price is US50 or less.

Es un lugar tranquilo y bonito. La limpieza es excelente. El personal muy amable. Lo recomiendo mucho porque puedes llegar a pie al centro, ya que está a solo cuatro cuadras.
Incluye estacionamiento a media cuadra y desayuno continental ¡muy rico!
¡Seguro que me volvería a hospedar ahí!

Solo hubo un pequeño detalle en la pared, tenía un poco de deterioro pero nada que afectara nuestra estadía.

Lo que sí me gusto: se encuentra muy cerca del Centro Historico, por lo que se tiene al alcance los distintos puntos de interes caminando. Asimismo, hay cafeterias, restaurantes, etc. El personal del Hotel es muy amable y cuentan con folletos de los Tours disponibles en la ciudad.
Lo que no me gusto: La habitacion es muy pequeña y, en consecuencia, se siente uno amontonado, cuenta con Tv pero no da acceso pues nunca sirvio el Internet ni para telefono, menos para la TV.

En general de las mejores opciones para descansar

Habitaciones confortables, limpias y sanitizadas, la persona que nos atendió por la noche al realizar el check in muy atenta; en general ubicación, habitaciones y servicio excelentes con solo dos puntos que a mi parecer pudieran mejorar: no había aire acondicionado en la habitación y el horario del estacionamiento que solo es diurno.

No pudimos entrar con carro había un tráfico terrible a unas cuadras porque estaban arreglando las calles de alrededor y al llamar al hotel porque yo tenía que salir temprano a las 6:00 de la mañana me dijeron que no podía sacar mi carro si lo metía al estacionamiento hasta las 7:00 de la mañana
Dejé perder mi dinero porque yo tenía que salir a las 6:00 de la mañana si hay una emergencia no puedes sacar tu carro ya que es pensión y hasta las 7 abren me di la vuelta y me regresé a mi casa

En general fue positiva mi estancia.

Las habitaciones son amplias y tranquilas. El aseo de las mismas lo encontré aceptable la primera noche más no impecable. En la segunda noche mejoró considerablemente. La cama es amplia y muy cómoda. Sábanas y toallas limpias y en buen estado. El desayuno incluido que ofrecen es muy simple y pequeño aunque los alimentos fueron buenos y en buen estado. Comparando con desayunos que ofrecen en otros hoteles de la zona aún de menor precio éste se queda unos escalones abajo ya que he encontrado hoteles que ofrecen alimentos similares bajo la modalidad buffet (ya incluido).
El personal es atento y amable.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado, a unos pasos de la Catedral de Morelia. Tiene varios patios, lo que le da mucha iluminación natural y un ambiente de privacidad a cada habitación. El internet falla un poco, pero el personal es muy amable y reinician su antena cuando uno lo solicita. Delicioso el desayuno. Se descansa muy bien; los servicios (agua y televisión por cable) funcionan perfectamente. Todos los de la recepción son muy amables, de verdad mi estancia fue muy placentera y espero regresar pronto.

El lugar limpio y comodo en cuanto a su habitacion; el personal muy amable la resepcion; restaurant y la gerencia.
Se debe de mejorar en:
Las luces de la haitacion que nos toco solo encendia el 50% eliminen los dicroicos y coloquen LET eso les ahorrara la energia electrica y se tendra luz en toda la habitacion.
Mejorar los colchones es MUY IMPORTANTE ya que se quiere descanzar y mas que eso parece que uno esta acostado en el piso de tan duros los colchones.
El personal de aseo de la habitacion por lo menos que se tomen la molestia de doblar las tuallas ya que donde se dejan a secar asi las dejan, los articulos de limpieza personal considero que diariamente se deben de reponer y no solo el primer dia de estancia y posteriormente irlos mermando.
Son pequeños detalles que mejorar pero estos hacen la diferencia de volverlos a elegir.

Es un hotel bonito!, super cerca del centro historico y puedes ir a todos lados caminando, esta recien remodelado pero conservando su estilo. Lo malo fue que el colchon es muy incomodo, muy duro :( no pude descansar bien. Y la habitación en la que nos quedamos # 6, estaba muy encerrada , no habia ventilacion y si abrias la ventana esta daba a el patio y todos nos veian :( .

El problema es que la habitación era DEMASIADO obscura y no exagero.Desesperante que cada vez había que llamar a alguien para que arreglara el control porque la persona de la limpieza lo desprogramaba.
Equivocaron una orden en el desayuno y el mesero no volvió a dirigirnos la palabra! En cambio la señora muy amable y gentil.

Hotel pequeño pero agradable. A 4 cuadras de la catedral. Camas cómodas. Le faltaría una mesa de trabajo. El estacionamiento está a 5 cuadras del hotel, es un pequeño inconveniente, pero está atrás de la catedral, así que para nosotros estuvo bien, pero es un punto a considerar. El personal de recepción muy amable y atento.

Las camas son incómodas ya que tienen colocado un protector de cama de plástico, lo cual es molesto y causa calor. Se solicitó una habitación doble con dos camas matrimoniales, sin embargo fue asignada una cama matrimonial y otra individual. Finalmente la habitación estaba poco ventilada e iluminada.

Fue una linda estancia, con una habitación muy cómoda y espaciosa. La gente del hotel realmente amable, siempre pendientes de ver que no necesites nada.
El desayuno básico pero bien para salir y desayunar en forma.
El hotel lindo, tradicional mexicano y acogedor. Con gusto regresaré a este hotel.

Bueno sin pretensiones.

La ubicación de hotel es buena y el servicio excelente, la limpieza muy buena, aunque el wi fi es de intensidad baja y las almohadas un poco duras (creo que no les quitaron el plástico de protección). Es una lástima que uno no pueda usar el estacionamiento después de las 11pm lo cual dificulta salir de noche.

La estancia fue breve pero grata el personal atento y amable en todo momento, lo unico malo fue que al comprar en expedia, expedia no factura, y el hotel muy amablemente me dio mi factura (aunque por menos cantidad) buena opcion si te gusta lo clásico, y mas privado lo recomiendo.
