Booked a king size bed and was sent to a double bed room. when called reception they offered a refund as long as restroom and bed weren’t used. Since it was a busy holiday they rented our room out to someone else and didn’t respect the reservation made. Took advantage to make a quick buck.

. My wife is handicapped, but they insisted on giving us a room in the second floor. The elevator is broken so my handicapped wife has to go up two flights of stairs every time we go to the room.

We expected more from a Howard Johnson chain hotel. But we were warned when we went to the elevator and the entrance was black with years of use. The hotel itself was clean, but outdated. The bathroom bars were rusty and the towels were threadbare. There was a hair dryer, but it didn’t work. The plugs and light switches were totally outdated. The beds were very uncomfortable. The hallways were not lighted well and the carpet seemed to be from the 70’s. Good thing the floor in the bedroom was not carpeted!
We ate breakfast there one morning. Decent but slow and not anything to get excited about. We had to ask for things several times before they were brought to us.
Unfortunately, I don’t recommend staying there.

When I arrived at the hotel my reservation was cancelled and I had to chat with expedia and finally they gave one room. From inside the room you can heard everything from the walkway.
I found couple bugs inside.
Very nice area to walk and also they have parking

El hotel es cómodo para pasar 1 o 2 noches y está ubicado a unas 6 calles de la plaza principal.
Es un hotel viejo al q le falta bastante mantenimiento.
Deja mucho q desear para ser Howard's Johnson by Wyndham.
Las colchas son viejas o de un estilo viejo, no se si por el material o que pero si te recostabas sobre ellas, picaban.
Pero bajo o dentro de las sábanas (se ven limpias y no tan viejas) no había ningún problema de picazón.
Las toallas también están algo viejas y desgastadas

Beautiful colonial property with garden in the back, located right on the main avenue of the city, close to parks, and walkable. However rooms are somewhat old, small pillows, and staff is not quite friendly. You have to greet them yourselves every day otherwise they won't.

Es un buen hotel. Aunque es sencillo tiene todo lo necesario y es limpio. La atención de recepción y restaurante fue bastante cordial. El estacionamiento está muy bien aunque parece pequeño considerando la cantidad de habitaciones, así que sería mejor llegar temprano. Considerando que es económico es sin duda una buena opción estando cerca del centro

They were not friendly, not even a smile. No 1 helped us with our luggage to take it down from the van that dropped us off, no 1 helped take it to our room or bring it down next day. We had to use the dolli ourselves. Hotel looks abandoned. Too far for walking from actual Centro. I will never stay at another Howard Johnson again.

Clean, comfortable 3☆ hotel

This is a smaller, comfortable hotel located within walking distance of the main zocalo in Centro Historico. There are OXXOs, coffee houses, banks, pharmacies, fast food, VIPs and Sanborn's all nearby, and many beautiful old churches. Breakfast is available in the main foyer/lobby: buffet style standard mexican fare, and cooked to order omeletes from the kitchen (well made, too!). Prices are fare (standard hotel range). The staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed. Beds are hard but, with the nice duvets, are quite comfortable. And the shower has good pressure and plenty of hot water. No coffee makers in room, but hot & cold bottled water is available in the corridor, near the elevator, so I was able to make tea at any hour. Television is in spanish AND english, so that was great!
I get the impression that this hotel is popular with Mexican nationals. This was our 2nd stay there and, no doubt, we will return! The price, per night, can't be beat...

This hotel was very dated. The pictures did not represent the current state of the hotel. The staff was not very helpful. During check in they didn’t ask for ID. The room was not very clean. The beds are very hard. We had 4 people staying in the room and they only provided 2 towels. I called the front desk to get additional towels and waited an hour, called again and then after another 20 minutes they brought an additional towel. There is no air conditioning. The toilet didn’t flush properly and they never came to fix it. We had to use the toilets in the lobby and they didn’t have any any toilet paper and they smelled. In the women’s stalls, only 1 stall had a lock.

Lo único igual a las imágenes fueron las colchas, el resto todo mal, las camas son incómodas, la alfombra huele mal, el staff de recepción es mal encarado y responden con apatía. Los cuartos lucen viejos, descuidados, la televisión no funciona bien. Y pagué una tarifa extra para que incluyera desayuno y aunque claramente la tarifa base dice que incluye 3 personas y pagué además extra por un huésped más, al final nos dijeron que el desayuno era sólo para dos personas. Hay otras opciones muchos mejores al mismo rango de precios en esa zona, huyan si quieren evitarse la decepción. La única excepción es el chico del bar que es muy amable y servicial.

Good location near the city center and the Tarascas. Comfy bed but some other things like the doors and windows are very old and rusty. Window view just to a big wall. Don’t eat at the Hotel restaurant, any other place in Morelia has better food

Staff were friendly and helpful, including front desk and restaurant.

The location was good - 3-minute taxi to the cathedral; the hotel was clean, and the parking secure; the food in the restaurant was very good.

The only 2 negatives were:
1. we asked for a room near the entrance & elevator, with no stairs, but we needed to walk half the length of the hotel to the elevator, and all the way back again to get to our room.
2. we were surprised to find a modern hotel with only one 3-pin outlet in the room.

Exceptional location, tasty food, quiet interiors.

The hotel’s location is excellent. You’re within walking distance of the Cathedral and an array of other temples; close to the colonial aqueduct, green areas, monuments, museums and banks. On your way to the historical centre you will encounter restaurants and will be able to get a feeling of the daily life as you traverse the street blocks. The hotel offers breakfast that is wholesome and satisfying. The options will satisfy any taste. The facilities at the hotel are clean and I found that while it is located right off a main street in Morelia, it was quiet at night, allowing for a restful sleep.

Worth a stay in Morelia

The room I stayed in was pricey for Morelia, but it was a nice room and comfortable. The staff were friendly, and the manager accommodating when there was a problem. I would recommend the hotel, but can speak only for the most expensive rooms. There are many hotels in Morelia, and the market is competitive. Nevertheless, I was happy with my stay and really enjoyed the hotel's location away from the main cathedral and all tourist spots there as I could explore more and find plenty of great restaurants and bars near the hotel.

I did not liked the Terrible configuration of the interior of the Bathroom, because the distance from the edge of the Toilet to the wall is 10 inches,
