We had a wonderful stay at this hotel.
location was absolutely amazing. The view from our room was superb and truly made the experience special.
We also received outstanding customer service from the front desk—Mandy was especially helpful, professional, and welcoming. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend this hotel, and we look forward to returning.

Rooms are clean and internet is fine. Shuttle bus to fair is ok also.
Breakfast is basically same every morning.
Staff are good
Will probably not stay here when going to the fair. Too far and takes almost 2 hrs plus each way. My issue was bus was missing in action. Had to wait another 45 mins so got back to hotel at 830pm maybe a bit later.

Cleaning staff were good.
Front desk were ok . New guy checked me in. Needs more training when it comes to foreigners.

El Hotel tiene muy buenas habitaciones con unas vistas increibles. La cama es buena y tambien el baño es bueno. El desayuno es muy variado y perfecto para un occidental. El resto es muy normal y no se corresponde a un hotel de alto standing. En la planta 50 hay un bar que esta bastante abandonado y no existe ningun otro bar para un occidental.

The check in and out payment was very confusing. When I booked the hotel, I chose to pay at hotel. A night's deposit was taken from my Visa credit card, when I checked in, I was told it will be returned. I then used my China bank card to pay, with the extra deposit. Two days later, my Visa credit was charged again.
I had to made some calls when I'm back home to clarify all the confusion.

The room is a bit dated, the mattress is very hard. The ivory floor outside the bathroom can be slippery when wearing the hotel provided slippers.

House keeping did a good job.

Concierge is very helpful.

View from hotel is nice.

However there are a few downsides:

Got bed bugs, I've got 5 bites on my left leg

Hotel parking is not exclusively used by hotel. A lot of park spaces were used by locals.

Decorations are getting aged.

Close to and lingnan tian di attraction. Kind staff. Wonderful room with a view.
Just alittle peeve on the lifts. Had to change lifts to get to the rooms, especially when there are many people only one lift came to service the crowd.
The bed is pretty hard, good for those who likes hard bed

The location And the hotel staffs are great. The few things i am disappointed.
1) The bed is as hard as rock, i hardly can rest well
2) i took the executive suite, but have a very poor experience. I been to many other hotel’s Executive lounge, their experience are the same, but, Swissotel Foshan was totally different. I took on Executive suite to excess to the lounges to be seperated abit with the main crowd especially my breakfast. This hotel doesnt serve breakfast at the Executive lounge at all. They only serve 5:30-7:30pm. I asked the friendly and helpful staffs, they say... the rest of the time they only serve softdrinks. Which other hotels serves Beer n Wine even at other hours. When i arrived at 2-3pm on the first day, the lounge was not opened yet, i am surprised..

The room was big enough and other facilities inside/outside of the room gave me no difficulties during whole my 3-day-2-night stay. Fruits prepared refreshed me after being exhausted long local way from the airport due to the road construction of highway. Variety of breakfast seemed to be ensuring all guests to start with the best nutrition.

If there would be the only thing this hotel might be able to improve, it should be the bed sheets' dryness. I felt they were not dry enough for me to feel fresh. It was probably caused by the relatively higher humidity of the room I stayed.

From the overall experience of mine, this hotel should deserve better rating.

Nice view, Convenient to Centre

Overall location is good, near city centre and intercity bus stop from Gongbei.

We're lucky to be upgraded, room overlooking the city. though the room was a bit of hot. The hotel central air conditioning did not allow individual room to turn on air-cond.

The staff was helpful, offering an alternative room change which was much cooler (lesser direct sunlight). I asked for more water instead as my companion like the view of the room so We didn't take the offer.

Overall, Swissotel Foshan is a decent hotel. It's comfortable and great for business trips. The room was clean and had everything that I needed. There are a few improvements that could be made to the hotel. I could tell that the hotel is a little older due to some of the trims in the room being damaged or scratched. Maybe needs some updates. The food choices in the hotel are not good. The burger that I ordered through room service was not cooked thorough enough and I could not eat it. The breakfast buffet did not have enough choices and my omelettes were never cooked enough. The Italian restaurant felt stuffy and my steak was not cooked to Medium Well as I requested. The air in the gym was extremely hot even with the AC on and the floors and equipment in the gym were extremely dirty. My hands were black after each visit.

It was nice. Friendly staff. Bathtub and shower in room on 49th floor had an amazing view! Bed could have been softer. Drinks at bar on 51st floor were too expensive. Over $20 usd for a Tanqueray 10 and tonic is more than I would pay at a much nicer hotel in America.

It takes an hour to shower...

We booked a Swiss advantage room on Expedia with a king bed and paid for three guests. When arrived at the hotel room, we noted the bed was much smaller than a conventional king bed. When enquired at the reception we were told that the king bed that the hotel uses is 1.8m wide...

The hotel staff were courteous and helpful but could also used a bit more care and attention to give us a room with amenities for three instead of having the guests making the requests for extra amenities.

The room we stayed in had horrible water pressure. The cold water was fine but the hot water drips. Set up of the room was also a bit dated without USB charging etc.

Overall the experience did not live up to the expectation for a swissotel and we were very disappointed.

I was so impressed with the whole package from booking in at 2.30 am and leaving 5 days alter at 12 pm
