Fabulous!

Clean pool, everything within easy reach, beautiful rooms, lovely staff, my only concern was the lack of a kettle in the room- this was managable but I'd say a kettle is more universal that an espresso maker. Take bug bite spray though- the bugs ate me alive due to being in the hills, but still one of the best places with everything being near. The little road train was fabulous! Its made me want to book another break with Hu!

The area is beautiful, nice swimming pools for small children and teens, convenient grocery stores on site, and lots of options for dining. HOWEVER: it is very NOISY! Loud music everywhere you go and in some places your hear 3 different songs from 3 different speakers. From 7 AM to 12 AM (yes, midnight). This is on top of loud children everywhere (which is fine because the place is, in fact, perfect for families with children).

you’re looking for a place to explore Italy, this is not the place. It’s quiet, quaint, and far from the city center. If you choose to stay, you’re approximately 22 miles and 45 minutes from the city center and airport. I’d highly recommend a rental car. While the campground has activities, they have activities on designated days (e.g. - there is a tour of Chianti Wineries on Tuesdays, a cooking class on Mondays, tours to Pisa or Rome (on a certain day) etc.). Depending on your schedule, it is easier to book a class inside the town and doing so offers you the opportunity to explore various parts of Italy. There is a bus to take you into town but if you’re looking to travel at your leisure, you should rent a car. There are other options for activities (e.g. rent a Vespa or scooter) but there is not much guidance on doing so and InfoPoint is not extremely helpful. The activities offered at this camp ground do not provide one autonomy to move freely around Italy nor participate in activities that are truly unique to Italy.

Upon arrival, we learned the sheets, pillow cases and comforters were dirty and had holes in them. The food was good and the staff was friendly. Would I return? No. This is not the environment for one looking to explore Italy. If you’re looking for a leisure environment away from everything and everyone, this might be the spot for you but it was not the place for me and my family. I would recommend staying 1-3 days and nothing more.

The location is really beautiful. There are constant shuttles to transport from one location to other within the property.

Clean Cabins
If you have not booked shuttle from the Figline station to this place- you may have a hard time getting a taxi from the station. I recommend to plan ahead for the commute from the train station to this property.

I stayed with my family (husband and 2 kids) for 3 nights in July. The campsite is fantastic! Well run, clean and with lots to do. The pools are fab and it’s a great place to relax. There are plenty of great options of places to eat and drink, and a reasonably priced supermarket. The campsite is set in lovely Tuscan countryside - lush and green.

We didn’t have a car and used the campsite shuttle service to get to and from the local train station.

Really nice family environment, excellent facilities, nice food. Polite friendly staff. My one criticism is that maybe the staff are a little to eager to perform they don’t take the time to make sure they know what we wanted. Incorrect or incomplete orders was a recurring theme of our stay but it was always rectified promptly and apologetically. A minor fault and we will definitely return. A near perfect place for a family holiday.

We had a fantastic stay - the accommodation was extremely clean, new and ideal for our young family. the site boasts lots of facilities, however be warned not all are open all the time. We went early in the season and struggled with opening times. Likewise be warned that the accommodation is rural. the closest town/train station is 15-20 mins by car - 10 Euros in a taxi. Nothing is walkable however lots of amenities on site.

Very limited kitchen items, not enough dishes/ cups and silverware for the 4 people per apartment that we booked for.... good thing we had plastic utensils available. No checkout info given, and no one available, so we just left our keys in the room and sent an email. Still haven't heard anything back from them.

Check in was a little slow after a very long drive for me but staff were helpful when I asked for they keys so ai can get some rest.
We only stayed for one night, in their deluxe mobile home which is similar to lodges we stayed in camping sites in the UK.
The accommodation itself was of an exceptional standard and everything was clean and new. Kitchenette was fully equipped with hobs, full size fridge freezer, filter cafetiere and even a nespresso machine.
Tv with international channels and 2 toilets with showers so perfect for our family. Towels and shower gels were provided. The terrace looked lovely though we dis not have time to sit outside as we arrived in the evening and wanted to rest. We did have a stroll i to the main square with its supermarket, bars and restaurants and the kids had a dive in the indoor pool in the morning before check-out.
The supermarket was big and well equipped, prices very reasonable.
It looked like a great place to stay in the summer and for a longer period, unfortunately our stay was only too short this time but we hope to return one day.
Staff friendly despite issues with PCs and so in at check-in and check-out, they did their best.

The children loved the pools and we all had a nice time here, and doing other activities e.g. High Ropes and attending the evening entertainment.

There were a mix of nationalities - with a bias towards dutch than any other group, always good fun.

The facilities are excellent, no sign of cost cutting, with things nicely done and not too much pressure on restaurant / lounger space etc. even at peak times

Norcenni Girasole Club

The Norcenni Girasole Club is set in the Tuscan hills behind Florence. This is immediately wonderful on arrival. The accommodation was clean and well organized, with great airconditioning. This place is kid heaven and the lazy river is what made it for us.

I would say was abit busy for us in august, so not sure we wld go again at such peak time, but that said we enjoyed our time there and the children absolutely loved it.

The restaurants were wonderful. There is a wide range of food, and more than enough for self catering.

The location was amazing - in the Chianti region and near Firenze. It is a good starting point for daily trips. The camping is big, you have a lot of sport facilities, different food choice and a super market. The stuff is friendly. The pools seemed a bit old and also the mobile home was very old and unkept.

The location is good but the park is unloved and overcrowded, we have stayed at other parks in Italy with better facilities and amenities. So many things were labelled \"out of order\" from games to washing machines. Some staff were rude and some of the kids activities got overcrowded and looked unsafe.

Our accommodation was a sort of cabin, simple but perfect. The airconditioning was great as it was usually over 30 celcius outside. The resort is huge. We estimated nearly 3000 people stayed there. We (family with two young teens) enjoyed the two pools and so did many others, so it was very busy there. Lots of activities, restaurants, etc if you like those things. The resort also has excursions by bus to Florence, Pisa, Rome, etc.

Even though the site was very busy, we always managed to get sunbeds around the pool regardless of time of day. Visitors are very well catered for and I would definitely recommend this site and hope to return one day. We had great views from our apartment near the top of the site. Great holiday!

This is an great family place to stay and rest after our 3 days of intense walking in Florence. Our kids loved this camping village, it has swimming pools, restaurants, market, play area...a kid's wish list galore. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The resort is spacious and insanely clean, I always saw staff keeping the ground clean (even from fruit dropping from trees). The accommodation was comfortable and well fitted to our group. We wished we would have booked a longer stay.

Great Camping Village for Families

We had a wonderful time here with our children ages 2 and 4. There were lots of pools and playgrounds to entertain the kids. The service was great and the onsite grocery store was perfect. We were able to do a daytrip to Pisa and Florence with the shuttle provided. The only downside is the more remote location when traveling by train but if you book a shuttle with the resort you shouldn't have a problem. Great value for the price!

My wife and I wanted a place to stay that was in the Chianti Clsssico wine region and reasonably priced. We were pleased. It was a fun 15-25 minute drive to nearby castle vineyards. The staff were helpful. This would be a fun place for families and younger travelers looking for a good time. We stayed in the hotel/apartments part and had privacy and peace. The only negatives were that there was a rather loud noise coming from the wall (probably pipes) and the bathroom smelled of sewer at times.

I would definitely stay again. We were abit shocked when we arrived at night at the size and extent of the site which is a village. The chalet was larger than I expected. the pools were huge and included a water slide. I didn't eat in the restaurants but the local Coop is well signposted in the nearest town and reasonably priced although I would recommend going to the mini market in the neighbouring village as the owner was so lovely and patient and taught me a few words of Italian even though she spoke no English. The staff are brilliant; we had an incident around the pool and the lifeguards were so kind, compassionate and helpful. I would recommend anyone to stay here

Only stayed in norcenni for one night and did not get the rooms requested. We had asked for 2 bungalows and a standard room but no standard room was offered, instead my son in law was given a bungalow and therefore had to sleep separately from his wife and daughter. Same price was charged however! Taxes are euro 1.50 per person per night!

Lovely camping site with everything you need

Everything was lovely except the location if you do not have a car. It's no public transport to get to the campsite and it's 30kms away from Florence. We had to get a local in Figline to call a taxi for us. It costs €12.
However, the campsite do have shuttle service that take you to Florence, Pisa or Rome.
Overall it was really good! Just the first trip to get there was a bit difficult.

Fabulous setting, very friendly & welcoming staff

Great location and an excellent campsite set in the Tuscan hills. Main onsite restaurant is excellent and has maintained that for years (we first visitied over twenty years ago!). Haven't been for a few years and fell in love with the site and with the region all over again. Beds were hard, but not so hard that we needed to complain. Room was otherwise very clean, basic (ish) but comfortable and suitable. Outside the villa courtyards and views are beautiful. Some good restaurants and a great winebar (la Porta del Chianti) in nearby Figline too.

A good stay

We had a static caravan which functioned very well - plenty of shade, everything worked well. I counted 7 swimming pools including 1 indoor heated. several pools have water slides etc. Staff extreamly helpful.

We arranged entry to the Uffizi Museum via the camp this is not only cheaper than buying at the door or via internet but also obviates the need to queue (often 2 hours!). Train from nearby station takes 30 minutes to Florence - almost all the tourist sites are within a few minutes walk from the main station.

After looking at the photographs on expedia and having stayed in a number of campsites in the UK my wife and I were a little dubious to staying in a caravan. I must say that the worries were un founded as this place is excellent.
The restaurants, pools, Spa and general facilities are better than any caravan site I have been in before. The toilets and showers are brand new.
The views are fantastic and the right setting for sitting on your balcony and enjoying a glass of the local wine.
All the utensils were provided in the caravan which is great if you don't need to pack for every possibility.
The staff are freindly and very helpful.

We booked this online, and while pictures are never what you generally get, we were horrified at what we got. The double room we booked was old and in very poor condition, it was not a part of a villa or hotel, just a row of rooms facing a parking area. the bed was just springs, and we are convinced it had bed bugs, we had welts all over our body -if it was mosquitoes our arms would have been bitten as well but it was bites on just our body- the room was never cleaned daily, towels were just handed to us a the door. It is essentially a camping/caravan facility with a good pool and other facilities, and would be great if you had your own caravan to stay in but if you want a decent room, forget it

Don't be fooled!

This is a campsite not a hotel! Accommodation consists of tents, caravans, mobile homes and villas with self catering rooms. It gets very hot in the summer and air con is essential. I booked a double room on line, and ended up in a small dingy room which barely had enough space for a double bed. There was a basic shower and toilet. Very hot at night so had to leave windows open resulting in lots of midge bites in the morning. Moved to a better romm in one of the villas after 2 days, but at a significant extra cost. Still no air con.
Accommodation aside though, it's in a good location to explore tuscany and there are good facilities on site - pools, restaurants etc. Bit disappointing however if you expect the usual standard of accommodation you book through expedia.

Villa Norcenni was a very nice place. It was in a beautiful location, just make sure you have a rental car to get around. The staff was friendly. The only thing i did not like was the mattress on the bed was way to hard. I would go back there again just not at the end of the season. We went the end of September and they start shutting things down.

Prime Location, Helpful Staff

Helpful staff one of whom spoke English well. We arrived late in the evening but this was no problem. The hotel is ideally situated right on the edge of the main piazza. The Duomo is 100m away! It is a little challenging to find at night with a GPS so find the SMNovella train station first then proceed to the hotel which is less that 1km away. It is possible to drive right to the door of the hotel and if you so desire they will have someone come and part your car for an additional small fee. The rooms are cosy (nothing flash) but we had no problem sleeping. There is a modest but nutritional breakfast served. The wireless network is a little weak and we could not pick it up in our room. This mean we had to take our laptops down to the small communal computer lounge.

Wir hatten bereits eine Nacht hier verbracht. Wir hatten ein neues sauberes Mobilehome und waren sehr zufrieden. Deshalb haben wir um 2 Tage verlängert. Wir buchten die gleiche Kategorie, mussten aber das Mobilehome wechseln. Dieses hatte mit dem vorherigen nichts gemeinsam, obwohl bei der Buchung die selben Fotos angeführt waren. Es war alles dreckig und es gab kein warnes Wasser! TIPP: Unbedingt vor der Buchung das Mobilehome besichtigen.

Fine hytter , dog lidt slidt. Havde alt hvad man skulle bruge. Fin kuperet plads. Dog rigtig mange mennesker (primært danskere) i højsæsonen, så man ligger super tæt i badeområderne og mange mennesker i poolen.

God stor plads med masser af terræn - så lad cykel og løbehjul blive hjemme for disse er ikke forsvarlige at bruge. Til gengæld køre det lille tog rundt der med fordel kunne få flere stop så også glamp- lejren kan benytte sig heraf.

Pool området fantastisk stort, sikkert og med masser af leg til børnene. Poolen er noget beskidt af solcreme med alle de mennesker som anvender den. Gode madmuligheder og aktiviteter på pladsen.
Fantastisk område og beliggenhed.

Dejlig plads

Det var en dejlig plads at besøge. Der er rent og pænt og personalet er venligt. Det vil være småting vi kunne nævne. Såsom at det er lidt upraktisk at køjen til børn er i køkkenet, med teens der gerne vil sove længe. Det var lidt frustrerende at lagner ikke kan sidde fast på madrassen, her ville stræklagner jo hurtigt rette den del. Og en sidste lille ting, så ville et par hylder i køkkenet være dejligt så man havde noget afsætnings plads. Der var kun det i forvejen lille spisebord.

Toller Supermarkt mit fairen Preisen, super Restaurant!

Leider war die Küche war nur sehr dürftig ausgestattet, könnte etwas umfangreicher sein. Auch eine Grundausstattung an Spülmittel und ein Schwamm wären toll.

Bela vila na Toscana

Eu fiquei na vila, e não no camping. Foi incrível! Belas vistas e muito espaço. Ótimos banheiros. A cozinha é um pouco escura, mas resolveu nossa vida. TV não funcionou bem. Mas TV italiana é ruim... O hotel parece muito divertido para famílias.

El camping es inmenso es un verdadero resort moderno, bonito, bien organizado y con todas las comodidades. Dispone de diferentes piscinas, zona de restaurantes,diversión para toda la familia, teatro y un trenecito que te mueve por las diferentes zonas. Las casas están nuevas,son amplias modernas y equipadas con todo lo necesario. Es un sitio espectacular y totalmente recomendable

Pulizia dell’alloggio precaria nonostante fosse giorno di apertura. Copriletti macchiati e con capelli, polvere e pelucchi ovunque, cimici dappertutto, barbecue col grasso dell’anno precedente. Servizio di lavanderia inaccessibile, nidi di uccelli ed escrementi ovunque. Manutenzione generale scarsa, lavori e opere in corso durante il soggiorno.

Todo bien menos lo de aparcar

El camping está bastante bien, tiene una zona de restaurantes que está muy bien.
Lo malo es el tema de aparcar, es la ley del más fuerte, los bungalows no tienen su plaza asegurado y aparcar puede ser un verdades caos, con gente que aparca donde quiere y la gente del camping no hace nada.
